Tugu Bali: "Excellent…as always"

I have been to Tugu Bali many times since 2004 and it maintains a high level of quality with wonderful and friendly staff, great service, gorgeous views, easy access to the beach and very comfortable rooms...will be back!

Maison Polanka: "An oasis in the city"

We felt well taken care of by the staff - every time we arrived we were greeted with cold towels and a willingness to help with any details to make our trip more enjoyable. The property is utterly an oasis in the city - tons of greenery and the pool the perfect way to cool off on a hot afternoon. Since there are not many rooms, we felt like we had the place practically to ourselves and the peaceful atmosphere was most welcome.

Arumdalu: "An Amazing Place"

Love the beach, love the service. Food gets a little expensive compared to outside. However they plant everything, from pepper to vegetables. Love the hydroponic system. Do go for the island hopping tour. it's a blast!

Heritage Suites Hotel: "Well appointed boutique hotel"

"In recent years big group tourism has really taken off in Siem Reap but staying in this boutique hotel enabled us to get away from the coaches and tour groups. Our room was big and well equipped. We stayed over Christmas and our package included a gala dinner by the pool on Christmas Eve with local dance display and a jazz singer. The food was excellent. The pick up from the airport in the vintage Mercedes was fun, but if not included with your package it's 5 times the price of a normal car."

Tugu Malang: "Just love it"

"I stayed here before as tourist, this time for business. Both times were great! The atmosphere is magic, the restaurant is outstanding, the staff unbeatable. Rooms very authentic and comfortable. The old time odor and grandeur is all over the place, like it! They have a nice pool as well in case you travel with kids."

Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Memorable stay"

We stayed in room no. 1 just above the room that Angelina Jolie used to stay during her movie production this year. The room is spacious, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the salt water pool but has not enough time to try the massage by the scenic lotus pond. Very helpful and friendly staff. Overall service and experience is beyond expectation.

Sea Dance Resort: "Amazing 1 night stay."

"We booked to stay at Sea Dance resort for 1 night in December. We stayed in a Sea Shell pool villa and ee could not have asked for a better stay. From the warm welcome and delicious dinner to the large clean room and pool, everything was perfect. Upon booking we mentioned that we were on our honeymoon and the hotel very kindly decorated our room with flowers and there was also a bottle of bubbles on ice waiting for us. These small details really made this an extra special treat for us. Thank you to Pay and his team."

Locavore: "Mind blowing experience"

"As I am new to the fine dining scene I wasn't quite sure what to expect but once the first tasting dish came out it was like a flavor bomb went off in my mouth and woke up taste buds I didn't know I even had and the night got better from there from the 7 starter tasters which seem to never end (trust me I didn't want it too) to the main my partner and I got the 5 course one herbacore and the other locovore it was the best way to go so we got to sample each others food yes they were small in size but I couldn't of eaten and more once it was finish we had dessert to finish off but even that was a experience as I don't really have a sweet tooth I was in heaven with the predessert taster then the dessert then the final dessert sample board neither I or my partner could fault our night at all it was culinary delight with amazing produce which is as fresh as you could possibly ask for yes the staff could use a few lessons on how to talk abit slower and louder as we couldn't really understand what we were eating but that just added to the excitement seriously looking forward to returning next time I'll be doing the 7 course with drink pairing Highly recommended and yes its pricey but if you were to go to Melbourne new York London or anywhere else for the quality you'd probably put a extra 0 on the end of the bill Great concept from a fellow Aussie and dutch working together highly recommend"

Villa Mathis: "Married at La Villa Mathis"

I got married here in 2011. We had checked in late as we had to drop our guests off to another hotel they were staying at. However when we checked in, Bruno had actually called in to see how we were and if we had any question or queries to let him know and he'll be in the following day to meet us (my husband & I). This whole place was amazing! We loved the food and also note that this was our first time to Bali as well. Our room was amazing with alot of room and I loved how we entered and the bath tub was filled with flowers. It did get dark at night as our room was at the bottom and when we would come back from excursions, we would have a guard walk us back to our room but after a night or two we were confident to go on our own. The night before our wedding, I had asked if the ladies from our wedding guests could stay the night and the staff organised rooms quickly for them. Our wedding day, Bruno's wife (sorry I forgot your name! lovely lady) had met up with me to see how I was feeling and making sure everything was getting organised as planned. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our first time to Bali and to have our wedding here was amazing! I would be coming back here hopefully on our fifth year anniversary!
