Tugu Bali: "Amazing Karma Mantra Massage"

Review by: Luke L | Source: Trip Advisor
"Went for a Karma Mantra (Chakra Awakening) massage and what an amazing experience. Very powerful and beautiful space. One of the best massages ever so I ended up booking a second one 2 days later before I left Bali to experience again. Worth every penny. Powerful ceremony after the massage after which time a plate of fruit is delivered. Nice space to integrate the energies. Must try. Also had lunch at hotel and it was amazing. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo"

Tugu Lombok: "Exceeding Expectations"

Review by: Ignacio C | Source: Trip Advisor
"It was the third time for my wife and me to stay in Hotel Tugu Lombok... When you decide to repeat a stay in a hotel, for a long stay, there should be a deep reason behind... That is the case with Hotel Tugu Lombok... you will never get disappointed!. The location of this hotel is so privileged that you will discover gains from it, every day…starting at the very first moment of your arrival. When walking around for the first time, most likely you will think… Is this real?... how is it possible to have such an amazing place in a XXI Century Earth?...An Awesome Sunrise will wake you up every morning… just get up, walk few steps towards the beach… and seat down there for a unique experience…. And… you know?... that is every day during your stay!!.. and... waiting for a breathtaking Sunset.... magnificent!!. The staff is so efficient and kind that will prepare the breakfast for you somewhere, close to that place, if you like … up to you. You may also like to go swimming in those sea crystal waters, feeling God’s blessings!. After starting the day in that way… what else may I add?... Actually, many other experiences and magic moments… The staff is always caring of you, wherever you are. You do not feel they are doing so, however, you will feel like “the only guest”… I cannot explain how they do that, but every time I came to Tugu Lombok I received the same awareness and “interest”. What about the meals?... excellent, although it was very good during previous stays, we noted that this time “the kitchen” has even improved. It seems that the new team is renovating but keeping tradition and style, in both international and local choices. The place is so quiet and romantic that you may opt to stay, relaxing…walking along the beach…. and dreaming of the next time to come. The offer of the types of “Villas”, Suites… Bungalows… is so wide that it is up to you to explore those options. However, I suggest going for “Suite Sea View” (front line)…or, one of the 4 big Villas, if your budget gives you room. My favorite ones are Suite 107…101, and the 4 big Villas. When I stay in such a Paradise, I use to enjoy much more thinking that this is not going to be the only time to stay there…but, there will be more times to amaze in here. Enjoying the stay in the hotel or doing other activities, is up to you… the staff will arrange any excursions, sea activities, sailing…etc… just let your wishes to tell. Lombok is a wonderful island that has a lot of surprises to show. You have some drivers and cars, boats and guides available at the hotel. Anytime, easy and enjoyable!. Our experience in Hotel Tugu Lombok is “Exceeding Expectations”… for third time. The location is still well maintained, without hotels close to, the facilities are unique in the world, the staff is – as always – well trained and “wishing” you feel the only one guest… Only one more thing to say: As previous times… I leave for home, thinking of coming back!.. Thank you very much for all your attentions. Terima Kasih Banyak, Banyak!..."

MAISONS WAT KOR: "Relax and enjoy"

Review by: travellersalways | Source: tripadvisor.com
Spacious Cambodian style rooms with excellent amenities set in lush tropical gardens. Staff could not have been more helpful. A little out of town, but no problems with arranging transport. Nice pool. Good breakfast. Nice to sit out on the balcony of the room and enjoy the setting.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Amazing service and attention to details"

Review by: enna20162016 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Location: Great view on the Annapurna and the valley. From the welcoming to the departure day (we stayed 3 nights) we had a great hospitality service (meals, drinks,etc..) , we enjoyed the trek with our guide and the helicopter trip to the Annapurna Base Camp. The cottage was perfect, with heater during this period of the year (and the hot water bottle in the bed as a surprise). Will have love to stay longer. Thanks to Marcus for sharing his knowledge of this beautiful country through the day or at dinner time. You are a real ""hotelier"" and congratulation to the team for their service."

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Historic hotel in Georgetown"

Review by: Rose S | Source: Trip Advisor
Lovely example of a restored historic building. Now a boutique hotel. It feels like you have stepped back in time. Rooms lovely, staff friendly and helpful and little touches make the difference. Well priced, good greakfast included. Great location for exploring Georgetown. Thoroughly recommended.

Satri House: "A wonderful happiness at a cozy little boutique hotel"

Review by: Neung V | Source: Trip Advisor
"We are a family with kids and a nanny. At first, we booked this hotel on Agoda web for the first 2 nights ( our plan in Luang Prabang was 6 days/5 nights). Then we planed to spend our first 2 days traveling around and get to know Luang Prabang before move to other hotels that near the old city. This hotel is not much different as seen in the picture and the swimming pool is just nice for our kids ( 2.5 yrs old and a baby 5 months old). They loved to go to swimming pool almost everyday. The first night, we ended up having dinner at hotel restaurant which is the same dining place for having breakfast. The dinner was very good. The Laotian food tasted yummy and not too spicy. Our kid loves fried nugget chicken with french fries so much (we were back to order this quite a few times during the rest of our stay. Later, we went out to check on our wish list hotels like 3Nagas, Azaria (near night market), Belle Rives (very nice view to see Mae Khong river), we also got the chance to dine at 3Nagas as well ( see our review for 3Nagas restaurant) BUT we didn't very much like those hotels ambience and there is not-a-good-swimming pool for our kids to swim as well as Satri house. So we came back and talked to Satri House hotel manager "" Giovanni"" that we loved to extend our stay at Satri House for the next 4 days/3 nights. It was very appreciated to say that Satri hotel GM gave us a good hotel deal package for our extended. We got the same junior suit room type with lower rate than the previous booking from Agoda website and a plus was the spa for 2 (oil massage or traditional Laotian massage) for free. We found that our trip in Laos wouldn't be as nice if we didn't stay at Satri House. It was a family friendly hotel, Very nice breakfast (we tried every breakfast menu during our 6 days stay in both international dish and local dish). Our kids like hot chocolate drink and we all loved fresh orange juices and a fruit bowl in every morning too (croissant and bread were also good). I could even say that some of the dish is as good as 3Nagas or even better! For us, we are no need to go to other hotels or go through those restaurants that listed with overrated star in Laung Prabang. We finally were happy with Satri House for the stay, the food, the location, the friendly and always helpful hotel staff and especially, Hotel GM. Thanks for taking good care of us. We hope to go back again for our next vacation soon. Love Satri House! We impressed."

Manda De Laos: "Excellent local cuisine"

Review by: Kathryn M | Source: Trip Advisor
Manda de Laos is happily tucked away from the hullabaloo of the tourist quarter and offers wonderful Laotian cuisine, in a great setting with one of the nicest lily ponds in LP. Food, service and ambience first class - it was quiet early in the evening, but very busy later on - we revisited the next day to see the lilypond in daylight and capture a little more of the ambience. Highly recommended.

Villa Song: "Wonderful!"

Review by: marcnels0n | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here for four nights and loved it. It's location out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Saigon is perfect and if you need to get downtown they have a shuttle boat that will take you (and it is a lovely ride along the river). Accommodations were luxurious and well worth the price. The pool was beautiful; service great; lovely breakfasts. You can't find a better place!

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A luxurious end to our two weeks travelling in south India"

Review by: Professeurdefrancais | Source: Trip Advisor
We spent just two nights here to wind down after a very hectic two weeks. The staff are really lovely and the food great. One restaurant specialises in sea food but as we're vegetarians we ate only in the other one. I swam twice a day very early morning and at 6 30 pm when the pool and loungers were empty. We didn't want to use the pool or sunbathing area during the day - too hot and too busy. Breakfast taken in the open air facing the sea was great - we chose Indian food both times. The restaurant food both evenings was good but not spicy enough - even tho' we asked for fairly spicy. All the other guests were Westerners - apparently Indian families tend to stay later in the month after the school exam season is over. We borrowed the fairly rickety old bikes to cycle along the quiet village roads nearby and there's an extensive reading library to borrow books from. There's a resident tailor if you want to get any clothes made.To summarise - it's not real India and the wi-fi wasn't perfect but still worth five stars!

Satri House: "Wonderful staff and lovely property"

Review by: Jason L | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife, infant daughter and I stayed at the property for 5 nights. On our check in, we were greeted warmly by Julie and her team and were brought on a quick tour of the property. I think we were kinda impatient then because the property was so beautiful and we wanted to quickly go explore. Even in me and my daughter's impatience to go play with the wooden rocking horse, Julie was so very patient and kind. We booked the junior suite which was really generous in size, and absolutely lovely in style. The room was spacious, clean, and very well appointed. our first nights dinner was really really good. So good that we thought.... hey.. Why don't people eat more Laotian food!? But as the days passed and we had a selection of good and ok restaurants.. we realized that no, the Laotian selection and food in Satri house just tasted better, and was better curated. The breakfast was insanely generous and tasted amazing. I am going to miss that so much. What I will really miss is the wonderful wait staff in the restaurant. Every single one of them was attentive, kind, and generous in patience. They made my very naughty daughter feel loved and entertained every time we dined there, so much so that breakfast was a ritual that we couldn't miss, and we were constantly considering only eating at satri restaurant. It was so funny because in the mornings, when we walk into the restaurant, a gaggle of activity buzzes around ensuring that my daughter was happy, comfortable and well fed. Never have I been to a restaurant that has made me and my family feel so welcomed. I will miss having breakfast at satri house, and I truly felt sad leaving. The housekeeping team was also amazing. We had a minor run in on day 2 with a poor job done that we felt we had to call in to speak with the housekeeping supervisor. But thereafter, they picked up the ante and made sure our room was tip top every afternoon and evening we got back. I love the idea that we could freely use the bikes to get around the city, the morning rides to watch the sunrise and alms giving is so refreshing. The only drawback would be that the property is located close to many party loving neighbors. Of the 5 nights we were there, there were 3 unique parties. The one we encountered on our last day was so frightfully loud we stayed indoors all morning with the windows shut. The other 2 were quite bearable. But this of course, is no fault of the perfect team at satri house. By the looks of the reviews.. this is pretty hit and miss. I can imagine it being worse closer to the center of Luang Prabang. Laotians seem to love to partaaayy. "
