Misool Eco Resort: "Mind Blowing"
"This would have to be the best overall holiday experience of my life incredible diving and snorkelling a resort that doesn't just talk ECO but walks it in a big way lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting, you don't want to leave. Fabulous staff who really look after you ( get a massage) the food is excellent and they will do something special if you don't fancy anything on the menu. Room Tip: the rooms on the side of the island where the restaurant is save walking."The Apsara Rive Droite: "ideal location, lovely rooms"
"One of the first truly boutique hotels to open on the middle of the old UNESCO quarter of Luang Prabang, it is still going very strong. I was welcomed by a nice basket of fruit. Staff was genuinely happy to see me again. Rooms are very large and decorated in a very Indochine style with a twist of modernity. A lovely place to relax and to use as a base to explore this charming small town. Breakfast is included and is lovely. A choice of Asian or Western with fresh fruit and orange juice. Has a very good restaurant, one of the best in Luang Prabang. Prices are very easonable. Stayed April 2017, traveled solo"Reverie Siam: "Stunning resort and great value"
"My friend and I traveled in Thailand for two weeks and this was by far our favorite resort. The staff is warm and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and allow you to appreciate Pai's beauty. Rooms are big and decorated perfectly. This is however not a traditional Thai resort. The decor and food is western, but don't let that deter you from going because the experience, food, and views are worth it. "MesaStila: "Amazing!"
We just spend 4 wonderful nights at MesaStila! The good experience already started when we were picked up at the airport - our flight was delayed quiet a lot but the chauffeur was still there waiting for us with cold drinks, snacks and cold wet towels just What we needed. He also arrange for us that pizza was awaiting us when we arrived at then hotel as it would be very late before we arrived . We stayed in the family vila and it was really nice. It was spacious and with a wonderful bathroom (big golden tub) and with a huge balcony with the most amazing view. The hotel was so clean and all the surrounding at the hotel was just stunning. The staff was extremely helpful and also the food and spa was great. We also booked the combined temple sunrise tour with the hotel and that was also really good! Can only give my highest recommendation to this wonderful place!Inle Princess Resort: "Just Wonderful"
"This is an absolute gem on Inle Lake. It's in a very quiet part of the lake with a beautiful inlet full of lotus plants. We stayed in a lake front room which was worth the extra cost. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms have twin sinks and an outside shower! Catching the small boat in the morning with a leg rower is something you won't forget quickly. Breakfast and dinner on the deck is rather special too! Red Mountain winery is close by if you want to try the local drop. Highly recommended."Inle Princess Resort: "An unmissable place"
This is a wonderful experience. Fabulous setting, very high standard of accommodation with many little extras such as fruit and biscuits in the room, a bird book and binoculars for our use. Charming, helpful staff, good food on a terrace overlooking the lake. We were sad to leave.kenanga ubud : "Fantastic property"

This is simply an oasis, tucked behind gates in a garden setting on the property of a member of the extended royal family. We felt that we were treated like royalty ourselves by Atom and Ohm. They were both so kind and helpful. The property has a resplendent landscaping of fountains, a long trellised archway with potted orchids that leads to the restaurant, which was lighted at night, and a nice private swimming pool surrounded by landscaping. We stayed nine nights and enjoyed the Mali room. The room had all the amenities of a fine large resort but with a more charming character. The room was large enough to be comfortable. We like the coffee bar just outside our room and found it nice to come back and have an English cup of tea after our day tours. The bathroom was kept tidy with fresh towels everyday, and supplied with a nice quality of shampoo, conditioner and lotions should need them. The restaurant overlooking the river is simply elegant. The breakfast was very good and the dinners were sublime. They also have a driver that they arranged to pick us up and return us to the airport for a fair price. This was so nice after a 12 hour flight to be met at the airport, by simple instructions, instead of getting a random cab. The hotel helped us confirm the time of our tour pickups each day we were taking a tour by calling the tour operator on our behalf. They would help us to get reservations at other restaurants when their restaurant was not open. We appreciate their kind and caring assistance. We enjoyed our experience so much that when we return to Bangkok we will stay at Chakrabongse, and so should you.Villa Song Saigon: "A wonderful boutique hotel"
"Villa Song was the first stop on our recent SE Asian odyssey and it did not disappoint! We arrived after the best part of a day's travelling so were quite tired and ready to relax and chill. The reception staff were great and got us booked in very quickly (lovely watermelon juice as well) and off we went to our room. Beautiful view over the terrace, restaurant and Saigon River, the balcony was fairly small but there was room for 2 chairs and a table so that's really all that's needed. There was plenty of storage, a very nice bathroom including many extra accessories such as a sewing kit, cotton buds, wipes etc and the queen sized beds were extremely comfortable. We repaired to the beautiful poolside where we were able to recharge our batteries and partake of the gorgeous cocktails (Happy hour was 5 - 7 pm with 2 for 1 on cocktails and various other drinks). The breakfasts were awesome! Fruit platter to start and the menu had 15+ items on it from English breakfasts to Continental to Pancakes to Vietnamese specialities - you could have as many dishes as you wanted, plus you didn't actually have to have it at breakfast time (although we did). Being in district 2, Villa Song is a little way off the beaten track, however there was a complimentary river shuttle from the hotel to downtown which ran several times a day and which we utilised on our free day so that we could spend the entire day downtown - I recommend taking the shuttle, much more interesting than a taxi. Lastly I must give a huge shout out to the staff at Villa Song - nothing too much trouble, always smiling, checking we had enough coffee/tea/beer/cocktails/juice...I think with the hotel only having 20 or so rooms it has a real family feel to it. I would highly recommend Villa Song to anyone Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"David’s Kitchen: "Must try in Chiang Mai"
Davids Kitchen is located 15 mins drive from the old town, but it definitely worth a visit if you are in Chiang Mai and for special occasion. You would be amazed by the garden when you first arrive. The food is fantastic and staffs would give you great recommendation if you are not sure what to order. David was also in the restaurant and making sure every guest is enjoying the dinner. We also got a little sweet surprise at the end of the dinner. Would definitely come again.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
