Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "The sort of place where an author could hide away and write a best seller!"

Review by: Nick K | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is a simply appointed, French influenced, comfortable and very convivial Boutique Hotel with 9 spacious suites just across the road, pier and gardens from the Mekong. Actually, the establishment is more of a restaurant than an hotel because the lower two floors are given over to everyday dining and the rooftop is host to L'Escale, a discreet eatery offering more sophisticated fare. It's also serves Breakfast to guests. Watching early morning activity on the river, we agreed with fellow guests that both breakfast and view were stunning. The two lower restaurants were constantly busy however the sounds of diners having fun did not reach our rooms on the upper floors. You can't please everybody all the time of course and doubtless some will want plushier surroundings, however for us Nambo met key criteria for the Delta: Cool, Quiet, Tasty, Friendly and Reasonable! Internet trouble: no problems; no fuss - Receptionist showed up with a dedicated router - Service with a friendly smile!"

The Hue House: "Nice restaurant"

Review by: tara p | Source: Trip Advisor
"The Hue House Restaurant offers Hue and Vietnamese food, plus will be the only place which I have found in HCMC which has a great model of ""bun thit nuong"" (grilled pork, peanuts, noodles, sprouts and greens that's extremely well known within the south of the country). Food is genuine and portions are respectable. Staff is beneficial (to a fault) in ensuring you recognize the way to eat the meals properly (banh was ordered by me cuon there once, so the server insisted on coming 1 for me despite the protests of mine that i knew how you can do it!) The prices here are much more than reasonable. To match up against the adornment, quality of food and services, you are going to have an inexpensive price but five star service."

Le Calao: "Superb."

Review by: PerthSpray | Source: Trip Advisor
We can’t praise this restaurant enough. It has only recently opened and there are a few minor details that need sorting (like no bread and butter plates for the delicious and generous servings of complimentary home made rolls) but the main thing is the food, and that is exquisite. The ambiance puts you immediately in a good mood and the staff are attentive without being over the top. The Lao menu is extensive and is quite difficult to trawl through unless you have a good knowledge of the dishes and how big or small they are. I had pork stew not realising it was more of a soup. My mistake, but delicious just the same. Two nights later we went again and stuck to the Western menu. My wife had a repeat of the French Onion Soup followed by the Mushroom Ravioli. I had the Pumpkin Soup and Roast Pork Knuckle. All dishes were beyond compare and a testament to the Chef’s expertise. A delicious red and white house wine each topped off a beautiful night and at a surprisingly reasonable price of US$70. Remember, the Ravioli is to die for.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "3 days and 2 night, it wasn’t enough"

Review by: sreynyl | Source: Trip Advisor
"The early morning of May 26, so excited to skip school days for 2 days. I feel butterflies inside my belly, feeling feverish for the activities during the trip. Everything goes so perfect, no traffic and the weather was just, cool. Even tho it was a long drive, but I didn't get bored, i was enjoying all the amazing view of mother nature along the way to Koh kong. Sitting, looking the window, with the sound of rain dancing, I actually fell asleep, I suddenly woke up after many, many hours of sleeping. Guess what? I arrived! To the wonderful 4rivers floating lodge. The boat cruise to the hotel made me hype already. It was 1 and half hour to arrive and get check in. Along the way, it feels like me in the Amazon forest, all around are forest. When we arrived our destination, we get into each of our room according to our group. The staff, is just so friendly and kind. The look so professional and they served us the best! They also gave us a presentation about the hotel and how thing would goes. The tent made was just so cool, it made me feel so safe. I love how the inside was decorated. It's not just clean, but it makes me wanna lay on it all day. It was flawlessly designed, and provides all the things we need. Not just the room, even the restroom, i feel like i wanna sleep in there. It's so clean. The structure of the hotel does not only care about our safety, but also the environment. They don't just provide to get our attention, but they also care for our health; water was made by a long process, and soap was naturally made. Now lets get to the best part of the trip. Its kayaking!!!! It was nice exploring and it was raining as well. More interesting, isn't it??? After hours and hours of kayaking , dinner time has arrived. Ughhhhh.... can't explain how good was the food, just so finger- licking, i ate more than my parents cooked for me. At night, i have many choices u can do beside, boring social media, there was a nice library and a bunch of movie series where we can watch overnight. Though i slept early because i need to get my energy for my adventure. Overall, I really love 4 rivers floating lodge, best quality, best of serving, best of caring. Room, breakfast, lunch, dinner, it was perfectly done. Make this place as a place u should visit before any others. I guarantee, not regret of visiting, because it's not like any other hotel you'll know. I hope it visit it once again as soon as i can ."

The Cabochon Hotel: "Cute and quiet hideaway in Bangkok"

Review by: IndigoViolet | Source: Trip Advisor
Super friendly and helpful staff, a gorgeous old style building creaking with history in a peaceful soi just off sukhumvit, the Cabochon gives you all you need for a stay in this hectic city. From its handy location near to the BTS to its deserted rooftop pool this hotel delivers. Breakfast is good (although personally I always like to see some Bircher muesli on offer!). We slept wonderfully here, it's quiet and the beds are comfortable.

Mume: "Similar to Raw"

Review by: bcheong | Source: Trip Advisor
"Came here for a meal with overseas friends They don't have set meals, only a la carte. And the menu is short. There were 4 of us, and we ordered 80% of the menu. Almost every dish was spectacular - liver brulee, butter with beef fat, oysters, prawn with cheese, beef, fish etc. Service was friendly and excellent Overall similar to RAW , with slightly less hype and fame Will return"

Babe: "Sensational. A really special experience."

Review by: Lauwernpin | Source: Trip Advisor
"Among all of the places I have eaten at, Babe exudes an atmosphere that rivals the most energetic of places, with the food sharing that same energy. Chef Jeff Ramsay and his team of chefs and hosts provide an experience that's unlike any other in Malaysia. The food is refreshingly inventive, executed well, and finished off with attentive explanations. I really enjoyed my time here and I recommend the place to anybody who's looking for a good time. "

The Cabochon Hotel: "little gem in Sukhumvit"

Review by: bubuNewyork | Source: Trip Advisor
"I just came back from Bangkok where I stayed with friends at the Cabochon. The hotel was recommended by a friend who lives in Bangkok and was an excellent choice. The service is outstanding: friendly, nice, very helpful staff. The rooms are large, they could benefit from more lights but I didn't stay in the room very much. The decoration of the hotel is subtle, beautiful and stylish. The location is great: in the same little street, there is a great bar,(Shanghai in the 20s style) , a famous restaurant and a little further many restaurants. I also love the swimming pool on the top of the roof. So relaxing after a day of heat and humidity to swim and relax on the roof. The hotel restaurant, with Northern Thai food is excellent too, but ask for mild version if you don't like very spicy food..."

Tugu Bali: "Hotel with old charm"

Review by: TravelSelfies | Source: Trip Advisor
"Hotel Tugu Bali is located on the shores of Canggu Beach at one of the most romantic places in the island. We stayed here a few nights over the Nyepi day, which is the Balinese day of silence and it was an incredible experience. The staff members have done everything to make this time pleasant for all the guests and we immediately felt like a part of a family. The mission of Tugu luxury art hotels is to bring back to life the art, soul and romance of Indonesia's long forgotten years. The hotel owner is an antique collector for many years and all the priceless pieces of Indonesian antiques and artworks are beautifully positioned around the hotel, blending perfectly with the hotel ambience. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by the hotel staff members. They send a car to pick us up from our previous hotel with delicious fruit baskets to enjoy during the ride. A lovely touch! So, from the moment we arrived to the hotel we knew that this would be an unforgettable experience. The hotel manager took us around the hotel and explained us about different antiques and all the special pieces that the hotel possess. At the lobby entrance you stumble upon an impressive wooden giant Garuda, which was carved from a 120-years-old tree. Around the grand lobby are tropical gardens with beautiful lotus ponds and small paths that leads to the resort villas. We stayed in spacious Rejang Suite, which was located on the upper floor of a charming Javanese house. The suite had dark timber interior and was decorated with different artworks. The room had a working area, separate shower and bathroom, a big carved four-poster bed, a terrace with a private spa area and a unique sunken bathtub with amazing views over the Indian Ocean. A dining concept at Hotel Tugu Bali is completely different than in any other hotel we have stayed at. You can choose to dine whenever and where ever you like. We usually had our breakfast in the lobby with lovely view of the garden. The breakfast was a la carte and the food was delicious. They also served the high tea with different sweets every day. In the evening we have planned a romantic dinner Picnik in Bed, but because it was raining, we had to move it from the beach to the 300-years-old Bale Sutra Temple. We felt like a royalty sitting at this big table where many, many years before the royal Balinese kings had their dinner served. Amazing! Hotel Tugu Bali is a special place, it gives you the real Bali feeling. So, if you are looking for an authentic and luxurious hotel in Bali, this is a place for you."

Satri House: "Just perfect"

Review by: Trudie H | Source: tripadvisor.com
My friend and I have just had five fabulous days in Luang Prabang, Satri house was just perfect the hotel is just stunning mixing old charm with beautiful gardens and is just so peaceful. We had a room near the small pool on the ground floor which was very comfortable and well serviced with a lovely large bathroom. All the staff were so helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble and everyone took time to talk to us each day. We felt very welcome and at home there. We used the spa which was very relaxing and the restaurant, where the food was amazing, but more expensive than the good places in the town and very quiet. If you want peace and quiet and the bonus of being able to walk or jump in a tuk tuk for the short ride into town then this hotel is ideal. It doesn't have super modern bathrooms and shiny TV,s or an expansive breakfast buffet with endless services. However it has wonderful staff with great service in a beautifully decorated boutique environment that more than exceeded our expectations. I know what I prefer and we will be back because of this.
