Jing’s Residence: "Very unique experience"
This residence has much charm, rooms are scattered around courtyards. It is located in the centre of the city and his nevertheless quite calm. Restaurant is excellent. The residence has been realized from the basis of typical houses / buildings of former times, but all has been fully redesigned with great care and taste. Very well located, you can visit the city and go bac back for a nice tea in the afternoon.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Back to the past"
"As i thought it was one of my most beautiful few days what i spent in a historical mansion!! Those indigo blue walls and the whole spirit of the hotel it's just amazing!! Perfect choices of breakfast...nice athmospheric restaurant with french taste of kitchen!! A kind of feeling if you 'd stay in a museum! Highly recommended to those who likes history and beauty!"Rachamankha: "Lovely romantic getaway"
We had a lovely stay at Rachamankha! The food at the restaurant is wonderful- the included breakfasts are really a treat to start your day. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and landscaped. Rooms are spacious and airy with high ceilings. It's easy to spend an afternoon relaxing by the pool or in the library just soaking it all in. The location is also quite good- easy to walk around and see the sights. Would definitely stay here again!Glenburn Tea Estate: "Incredible"
"This place is in a time warp and is wonderful. As the other reviews say the drive from Bagdora is long and the last half hour is down a very bumpy unmade road, but for us this made it more exciting. When you reach the house you received the best welcome and are made to feel at home immediately. Our room was extremely comfortable and had everything you could want, including loads of hot water and thankfully no television. You all eat together in the evening which is akin to a lively dinner party, especially as we met some interesting people and had a great laugh. Breakfasts were equally as good with an Indian breakfasts of the day. We visited the tea factory and learnt how it is processed before sampling a variety of delicious infusions. We also went and watched the ladies picking tea and had a go ourselves. One of the best bits was waking on our first morning to see the mighty Himalayas as clear as a bell only 50 miles away, as the crow flies. I would highly recommend Glenburn for a completely fantastic experience"Villa Idanna: "A tranquil place at the foot of Mount Agusng"
"I stayed at this villa for 3 days and it was awesome for someone who wants to have a quiet village experience. You wake up and saw the holy Mount Agung in front of the villa. There is no TV or other electronic media in the villa so you just enjoy the experience without disruption. The villa is served by 4 local staff from the area, in fact one staff lives in front of the villa. For the entire 3 days we were served with local Sidemen dishes and they were fantastic. During the day, a lot of tourists mostly expatriates were seen cycling or walking around the village. At the top of the hill, I went to visit ibu Dayu a friend of many celebrities like Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Walter Spies. Her house is also facing Mount Agung, we had lunch and enjoyed her company."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Perfect end to an unforgettable Kerala tour"
Perfect sea view villa, blissful pool, deserted beach, breakfast on the beach, fabulous fresh fish dinners. Every effort was made by the staff to make our stay perfect. Great Ayurvedic massages by polite considerate staff. Loved the incense lit in the room at sundown. Even had a shirt made! We will definitely return.Inle Princess Resort: "A “must” stay here"
Superb Hotel with a unique approach by boat with the very unique rowing style to get you there! Simply beautiful location and fab rooms. We stayed in a lake house which I really can't fault. It has a rustic charm but with all the extras that you expect in a 5 star hotel. The outside shower is a nice touch and really good! the whole resort is beautifully maintained and we would have like to have stayed a while longer. There is only one restaurant but it does have an extensive menu and the food is good. if there is any criticism, the dining room lacks a little atmosphere but really not a significant point and would not deter me from returning. Also fab spa! We didn't use the pool but that too looked wonderful. maybe next time!Muang La Resort: "Relaxing setting, great food and lovely staff"
We spent three days at Muang La resort. We went in the low season so had the resort (10 room resort) to ourselves. We had a river view room (highly recommend) and we could hear the relaxing sounds of the river flowing outside our room. The resort has two elevated hot tubs, using water from the hot natural springs. We enjoyed a Lao massage too. The resort is set on the river, which is constantly used by the local villagers to fish and bathe. We organised a couple of excursions once we had arrived. This was probably easy for us to do as we were the only residents. The food was great. Every night there was a five course set menu based on local Laos cuisine. Breakfasts were great, with tropical fruits, divine home made yoghurt, croissants and scrolls, as well as eggs as you like them. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The village of Muang La is a little difficult to get to but worth the effort. I am happy to recommend Muang La.Misool Eco Resort: "Unforgettable holiday"
Misool is an amazing lodge in gorgeous Raja Ampat. not only is it gorgeous, clean and luxurious: it has done tremendous work to preserve the manta rays, sharks and other marine life of raja Ampat and Indonesia at large. Misool' said conservation work is crucial to protecting the astounding (and increasingly rare) biodiversity that makes Raja Ampat such an outstanding diving and snorkeling destination. I would absolutely return, and would not consider staying at any other lodge as I believe we must support conservation work. Service is likewise impeccable, including amazing massages.Arumdalu: "Highly Personalised Service, Ecological Balanced Resort, Amazing Experience"
"This is one of the place I wished I could rate more than 5 star. The service is highly personalised and awesome the moment you meet the driver at the airport. The driver made us feel very comfortable and kept us interested for the 1hr or so drive from the airport to the resort. The resort had only 10 villas, a huge private beach with soft white sand. The whole thing seems to be made to enhanced our experiences staying in this resort. Everything in the restaurant taste awesome. The vegetables and salads are picked up fresh from the garden. We had a romantic dinner package outside. Appreciate the staff setting the whole thing up for us for hours. Was a good experience. We took a batik making course, it was very interesting and we get to keep the batik we made :) Being in rainy season, lots of mosquitos, but bearable. The design for the whole place seems to take ecosystem balances in check. No mosquitos in the villa. The most expensive place we have ever booked, but we will definitely be back. The only bad thing is the Internet gets weaker the further we are from the reception and the restaurant, but hey... if you are in this place, you don't need internet and you dont want to use internet. Enjoy what this place and the nature has to offer! Belitung is a paradise, please keep the island that way (don't turn it into a Bali). Every resort in the Beltung should be built like this one... keeping the ecosystem balance in check. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"
