Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "An excellent safari camp near to Sri Lanka’s finest wildlife park"

Review by: David L | Source: Trip Advisor
Outstanding Safari Camp - but please remember this is a CAMP, a safari experience, not a luxury hotel and as such tents in the bush are the order of the day. Nevertheless the camp is well done and maintained. The food was excellent and plentiful, mostly Sri Lankan cuisine. Noel and his partner Cecile are excellent hosts and his team of camp managers, cooks and guides are very professional and accommodating. The safari guides are extremely good, highly knowledgable and ethical in their wildlife policies. The safari vehicles are well appointed, up-to-date 4x4's - all important to me as a professional wildlife photographer. Yala National Park itself is just a short drive away from the camp, (at the time of my visit, camps and lodges are not permitted in the park itself) great wildlife encounters are frequent and the varied landscapes are stunning. Noel Rodrigo's is perhaps a little more expensive than the other camps, hotels and wildlife tours I saw out there, but for the personal attention, quality of the camp, vehicles, guides, food and service.... it is certainly worth it.

Villa Song: "Fantastic hotel"

Review by: Doriangreen | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed at Villa Song for 4 nights. This was our first trip to Vietnam and we chose this hotel based on the reviews and we were not disappointed fantastic hotel, wonderful service and added benefit of speedboat to get to and from city centre. The room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clear. The breakfast was really good and lovely view if the river. I can not recommend this hotel enough has everything you need the only downside is it is far from the city centre and attractions. We had dinner at The Deck on our ladt night and the food was amazing. Great hotel, wonderful staff"

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Beautiful mansion with excellent staff"

Review by: BooSingapore | Source: Trip Advisor
"This place is really worth staying if you are in Penang and love a place with old charm and character. Breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly and attentive. Once you cross the threshold you will feel transported back in time. Considering that it's an old structure , they have done their best in restoring it back to its glory days. Stayed December 2016, traveled with friends"

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Wonderful Sanak Retreat Bali"

Review by: jalonina | Source: Trip Advisor
"Hvilket fantastisk og dejligt sted placeret midt blandt lokale rismarker i Bali's højland. Afslappende og super hyggeligt resort. Få gæster, dejlige hyggelige cabins med en helt vidunderlig udsigt til rismarker og bjergene mod vest. Super service og god mad. Havde en dejlig tur med lokal guide til rismarkerne og den lokale landsby. Også skøn og flot tur til vandfaldet. Stedet kan varmt anbefales. "

Bassac Cruises: "A “must-do” to really see the Mekong in style"

Review by: AmershamMan | Source: Trip Advisor
We took the one night cruise on Bassac 2. The programme is lunch and afternoon cruise, visit to local village, dinner and evening cruise to anchorage, breakfast and morning cruise to disembarkation point with visit to floating market and noodle making. For us this was a perfect itinerary and duration and a great insight into life in this enormous and important area of Vietnam. The food, particularly lunch was fantastic. Continental breakfast also had hot food. The boat is a joy with plenty of seating space even though the boat was full. The guide, An, was brilliant.

tugu bali: "My Tugu Hotel Experience was nothing short of amazing"

Review by: Matt E | Source: tripadvisor.com
"I am very late writing this review, but i have stayed at the Tugu Hotel in Bali a few times now. and it is nothing short of paradise. The hotel itself is made up of a number of villas scattered in a tropical garden and each one i have stayed in was very comfortable and extremely well facilitated, the main lobby, restaurant and each room is full of beautiful and traditional antiques from around Indonesia. The location is great, its in Canggu away from the Kuta and Seminyak areas, located next to Batu Bolong Beach, with Old Mans Bar opposite, for me it is the perfect location and setting. Dining at the Tugu is also an experience in itself, the menu is extensive, from traditional Balinese, Indonesian and Asian dishes to a full Western menu. everything (including Breakfast) was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff have always been nothing but friendly, happy to greet you and nothing is too much to ask. I really do not have one negative comment about this wonderful boutique hotel. Great place, i will continue to stay and dine there each time i head to Bali. Thank you Tugu Hotel for making my stays perfect :) "

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "A Cambodian restaurant not to be missed"

Review by: Belinda L | Source: Trip Advisor
The restaurant is helmed by a French chef who uses fresh local produce, herbs and spices together with his sophisticated cooking technique, taking Cambodian cuisine to next level. The chef greets each table upon guest's arrival by introducing menu of the day, he also presents petit-four to complete our meal. What a sincere and friendly gesture to the customers! The 6-course menu (you can choose 5 too) is very reasonably priced without sacrificing quality and quantity of food, it is definitely a great place to try the flavoursome Cambodian cuisine and spend an evening there.

Maison Polanka: "Natural luxury"

Review by: Iain M | Source: Trip Advisor
I recently stayed at Maison Polanka, it was such a welcome change and surprise to what I am used to staying; This Resort really is your home away from home; the staff welcome you like family, the intimacy of this place really has such a warm charm that makes you feel immediately at home; The team headed by General Manager Cathy, were exceptional, they were so attentive, friendly and could do enough to make our stay most memorable; I stayed in the Green room, which had an amazing balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens and the perfect retreat to relax, read a book with a gin & Tonic. They made all the arrangements for a private guide to Angkor Wat, where we went for the Sunrise, what a Magical experience, followed by a picnic on the river bank; this truly was one of the most remarkable experiences I have ever had. If you are looking for a relaxing, cosy place to stay I highly recommend Maison Polanka.
