Cuca: "Amazing culinary experience"
For me this is like michelin restaurant. The chef is smart to combine the material. The food taste is amazing, the presentation is rising your appetite and also the plate/bowl is nice. Perfect place to have kind a michelin food at affordable priceThe Governor’s House: "Possibly the best boutique hotel in Asia"
" I found GH by accident, but I'm so glad I did. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and wasn't sure what to expect. Fortunately I'd picked well, Yin Yin (mgr) had organised the things I wanted to do, including some of the best restaurants in town. She and her team made us feel so welcome and the service was five star, even from the tuk tuk driver Raymond. The hotel is small, but beautiful and the staff really make you feel at home. They even made my wife a birthday cake, which made her day even more perfect. I've stayed in Raffles, which I can't fault, but if you want all the style and personal service at a fraction of the cost, look no further than the Governors House..."Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Great hotel"
Excellently located hotel, right by the river front. The rooms (suites) are super - very large and stylishly furnished, and makes for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The surprise New Year's gifts were totally unexpected and a really wonderful thought. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip - we could have spent an hour just eating - with a huge selection of dishes to order and a panoramic view of the river. The free welcome drink is also excellent - can choose anything from their drinks menu including cocktails etc.Tugu Bali: "Traditional old world Balinese style hotel"
"Drive through traditional villages and rice fields. Only 30 minutes from Seminyak. It is a lovely drive and sometimes people want to see the rice fields without spending a day driving to Ubud. Arrive at Tugu, lovely old world traditional hotel for a nice lunch. A couple of hours of your time well spent. Relaxing, peaceful and educational. "Reverie Siam: "Peace in Pai"
Reverie Siam Resort provided the peace we were seeking in Pai as it is located away from the tourist fray. All aspects of the property were outstanding, including the beautiful room and friendly staff. Our two meals in the restaurant were phenomenal. We hope to visit again!Tugu Lombok: "10/10!"
"My partner and I stayed at Tugu hotel in late September for a week and just could not speak highly enough of the place. It doesn't have the 'grand entrance' like other more commercial resorts do, but that really does work to Tugu's advantage, as it is like no other hotel you'll stay at. To make it easy for anyone deciding whether to stay here in the future, here is a list of pros and cons: Pros: - There is a lot of work gone into this hotel to make it very unique, for example; the owner/ designer has purchased many pieces of traditional antique statues from all over the show (large and small) that are randomly situated around the hotel grounds with stories all about them in regards to their history and culture. - There's a very authentic/ traditional vibe, which you cant help but feel immersed in and inspired by - The food is great. It's not a regular buffet breakfast, they make everything for you personally. P.S - The Jackfuit Curry is a must! P.P.S - I'm vegan and the staff more than catered to my needs by removing certain ingredients for me with no hassle. - Even though the place was fully booked, it never felt crowded, which made the whole stay more relaxing and enjoyable. You never had to fight for a sunbed or table etc. - The private beach is beautiful...those crystal azure blue waters that you see on postcards type of deal... (although not the best at low tide for swimming from the coral). - Lastly I would say, the staff are what made the stay just so memorable. They go out of their way to do anything to make you have a great time. At the end when we drove away, there were about 6 of them that waved us off! I almost felt emotional because they treated us like family (and I was so sad to leave)! Cons: - There's nothing really around in close vicinity to this resort (not really a con for us because the hotel is so amazing you don't really need to leave) but for the more adventurous/ partying types - this could be a negative maybe? In saying that, you can hire scooters and venture out. All in all I give Tugu the biggest thumbs up. My partner and I always talk about our stay there and how much we want to go back!"Tugu Malang: "Luxury and services are beyond expectation"
"I was there only for a day and wish to come back soon. The room was impecable, perfect with a touch of personal welcome in a card. Our room facing the front hotel but not noisy at all. The bedsheet was super clean and it was a standard five hotel services and facility. The amenities was not much but enough. Small pool but convenient enough for children. Good selection of breakfast with some a la carte menu. The hospitality is unbelievably super friendly. A typical warm small size five star hotel that you would never experience in a big busy hotel. This hotel was beautiful in a an outdated way, and you may find it quite spooky at the back part, but for some, it may be the point of attraction. "Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Hidden oasis"
We have stayed at Maison Wat Kor for very short time with two couples for relaxing and escapre from the crowded world. Definitely this is a little oasis with a lush garden surrounded. The best part of the place - peaceful environment, quiet in the middle of village in Battambang. Our night for dinner was extremly delightful and also having the best talk with the owners during the dinner time too. The set dinner with red wine in the most beautiful enrionments in their little restaurants. Overall it is a very peaceful little Khmer house and definitely recommended. The Samar: "Intimate and excellent"
"I've been at SAMAR four nights in July 2015. Overall experience was marvellous. Hotel has 8 rooms only, large and comfortable, designed in colonial style with abudant use of timber and coupled with walking wardrobe and huge bathroom. Pool is always silent and ideal for resting after sunset. Staff is welcoming, pleasant end ready. SPA, satellite TV, fast wi-fi connection everywhere, room safe, english language all available. During my stay I never met more than 3 other guests together, I got a residential feel almost, as being guest at somebody place. Location is conveniently located near archeologic sites and away from noisy and busy msrket/pub area. Highly recommended."Sanak Retreat Bali: "Fantastisk sted, super service og dejlige villaer"
