Inle Princess Resort: "Classic Architecture. Best Service."
"It was my first time at Inle Lake and I selected to stay here because my Myanmar friend used to talk about it as the resort also runs a non-profit organisation called 'Inle Heritage', so I think there is a good sign of people's minds here. The location is in the beginning of Inle Lake, so very peaceful. You have to take a long-tail boat farther to explore the lake. The architecture is in local style and each unit is large, so you definitely have plenty of space to enjoy, esp. when you come in a group. They have souvenir shop which sells local products and books. I was eager how those products are made and they toured me around a little area where they showed how local people live and products they make for a living. Quite interesting. The room is beautiful and you can see the sunset from your room. Morning time is SUPER calm. You will get recharged here for sure. The best thing must be FOOD. The chefs cook not only local Inle or Myanmar food, but also international menus / European menus and they did a great job. I personally like the baguette served hot for every meal. Also, tomatoes here are very fresh. I saw them planting on a floating garden around the lake. Other facilities like swimming pool, lobby, communal spaces are big. There are recreational areas around the resort. Staff members are caring. They accompany you for whatever you want. With the smile on their faces, they are genuinely generous. I've heard many of them working here for 15-20 years. Last, they have their own jetty in which you board the long-tail boat to anywhere in the lake. The jetty is well-designed. I am considering revisiting this resort again with family in the wintertime."Tugu Bali: "A slice of Heaven"
"The great service started at the airport when we met our smiling driver Dewo! Had no idea how crazy the streets around Bali could be and was thankful to be driven by a local :) We arrived at Hotel Tugu mid evening to a beautiful lights and warm atmosphere and friendly welcome and shown to our beautiful charming room - we had a family suit with inter leading doors and a GREAT bath! We loved all our time at Tugu and am just sorry not to have tried out all their ""experience"" suggestions - next time dinner on the beach! This was out first trip to Bali and we could come back here - we had a drive over to the South Kuta side and although they have nicer beaches we felt the intimate setting of Tugu so much nicer than the sprawling mass hotel feel of somewhere like Ayodya! Breakfast could be eaten at the pool or dining area overlooking the ocean and the kids loved the banana pancakes. We all loved the food at the Japanese restaurant on site and had fun exploring the area up to Echo Beach and LOVED the visit to Tanah Lot (best at high tide for photos). Driving anywhere takes a lot of time so it was lovely to be able to have a good choice of things to do (surfing lessons, swimming, cooking etc) right on the doorstep. LOVED this place!"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Paradise on earth in God’s own country!"
This was our 2nd visit to Neeleshwar Hermitage but this time with our extended family of 15 with the oldest being 79 yrs & the youngest 9 yrs. Neeleshwar has still maintained the high standards it has set for itself. We had the whole resort for ourselves as there was no one else the 1st 2 days. Located on the beach in the Arabian Sea, this resort is an ideal place for a quiet holiday with all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & a big thanks to Jayan & his team for making our holiday that much more relaxing. Will definitely come back.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Very educational and interesting"
"Joined one of three conducted tours of the mansion available. The guide, Ben is simply the best I have ever come across. He speaks very well. Very informative and interesting background stories relating to the life of Cheong Fatt Tze and the life of others living in this mansion before it becomes what it is today. Worth every second of the two hours spent there. Could have been even better if more artifacts of the early days are on display. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Bali: "The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in"
We absolutely loved this hotel! Luxury without being commercialized. It was a splurge for us but worth every penny! We stayed in a Dedari Suite and it was amazing- huge, comfortable, beautifully decorated, full of charm, and the bathroom- what a dream! Outdoor shower/bath with fish swimming in koi pond. The private plunge pool was great! The location of the hotel can't be beat- one of the few actually on the beach in Canggu. We were able to walk out our door and surf at 2 great breaks (Old Man's and Batu Balong). The staff and service were top notch- anything you wanted and more! Special thank you to Putu, who went above and beyond to ensure our happiness. Next time I am in Bali I will definitely stay here again!Amata Lanna: "Absolute Perfection"
Beautiful and peaceful hotel and property for a relaxing coupes retreat. Daily buffet Breakfast was very good and the staff helpful and friendly. Fell in love with this place the second we got there and we will be back on our next visit to Chiang Mai!!MesaStila: "Amazing!"
We just spend 4 wonderful nights at MesaStila! The good experience already started when we were picked up at the airport - our flight was delayed quiet a lot but the chauffeur was still there waiting for us with cold drinks, snacks and cold wet towels just What we needed. He also arrange for us that pizza was awaiting us when we arrived at then hotel as it would be very late before we arrived . We stayed in the family vila and it was really nice. It was spacious and with a wonderful bathroom (big golden tub) and with a huge balcony with the most amazing view. The hotel was so clean and all the surrounding at the hotel was just stunning. The staff was extremely helpful and also the food and spa was great. We also booked the combined temple sunrise tour with the hotel and that was also really good! Can only give my highest recommendation to this wonderful place!Locavore: "Great cuisine"
"Tolle Küche , viele Überraschungen . Hat Spaß gemacht . Super vegi Menü . Toller Service mit außergewöhnlichen Cocktails . Ein muss in Ubud ."Mie Cafe: "most creative young Khmer chef!"
Always pleased to get back to a place I liked... and see quality is consistent, service is even better and the chef still humble and creative. Congrats to Chef Pola and his team!VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Lovely hotel"
"Two nights after a long flight- excellent spa- fantastic views across the river - nice breakfasts and helpful staff. Shuttle water taxi works well and it's nice to return to relative calm at Villa Song. We would choose to stay here again and will recommend it to our friends. "
