It's a really amazing restaurant set up with open kitchen. All the chef is working in a very systemic way and you cannot imagine how clean the kitchen is.The service is excellent and the food is very outstanding. You vision,taste and smell has been all taken care. The food is tasty and placed like a artwork. We have tried the chef tasting meal which you can experience 9 different course. Every dishes was impressed and the chef will explain the dish to you one by one. The main chef Kevin will even approach and talk to you personally about the experience. "Arrived for 4 days in Luang Prabang we stayed 3 nights at Satri House. This hotel in the colonial charm only deserves compliments. A very original architecture with large rooms decorated former local objects. You feel more in a big mansion than in a traditional hotel. Our room was spacious, very clean, wooden floors and a large balcony. Very quiet, a nice staff and very caring. The breakfast (Western or Lao) was plentiful and very fresh. 2 swimming pools (a bit small) but with a large green space surrounded by large tropical trees to relax. You can borrow bikes for walking and / or go into town. Would recommend without reservation! "Tugu Lombok: "Certainly unique!"
I was a little apprehensive as we drove down a dirt road and stopped at an old building which was really dark inside. Everything was not old, but antique, and of the best taste. A real treasure trove! Our room was splendid, and we much enjoyed the huge copper bath with its rain shower. The common buildings are spectacular, too, and the decor in the bar is brilliant. The staff, though not ultra-efficient, could not have been more attentive, and the food was very good. Having said that, one has to accept that Lombok has limited resources and that supplies sometimes run out. Massages were excellent, and we took advantage of the outings on offer, which were very well organised. This is a wonderful place to relax.Sanak Retreat Bali: "Peaceful & magical"
"Stayed as a family (kids 5, 9 & 11) for a long weekend (3 nights). Stayed in a two-story family villa that was spacious and cozy, with beautiful rice paddy views. Kids chased frogs at night with flashlights and splashed in the pool during the day. Playroom above the restaurant and the pétanque court in the back were great additions! Excellent food & service, superb massages - also for kids, which is rare and ours loved it! Did the walking tour in the rice paddies and nearby village, including a swim in the waterfalls - it was wonderful. Also did the trip to Danau Tambligan, which was interesting, and the Munduk waterfalls. The sunsets are amazing, and the peaceful surrounds make for a perfect R&R destination. We will be back! It's my first time trying the modern Malaysian cuisine and it was amazing. Never knew that our local ingredients can be so versatile. Kudos to the chef team for their adventurous experiments. "The resort is beautiful. Each detail has been well thought out. The staff is professional and wonderfully trained. The property is maintained well and offers ""serious"" food - all beautifully presented. My cottage/room was lovely. I enjoyed everything about the property and would highly recommend a visit. There is a great deal to do in the area and they staff have beautifully organized excursions on which you take a picnic lunch. Hair dryer, robe, safe in room, great laundry service, and great service in general - the staff are very sweet, kind, and professional. We returned to this hotel after almost three years and we were happy to find things just as we left them! The hotel continues to be a haven in a very busy city and District 2 is the perfect base. Highlights were the peaceful and delicious breakfasts on the river bank ( special shout out to Duy!) , the stunning swimming pool and stylish rooms in that beautiful colonial style building. Yega, Ms Truc and the rest of front desk team do a brilliant job. So helpful with restaurant bookings, directions, late checkouts etc.The regular speed boat into the middle of the city is very handy. Unfortunately the boat driver at the beginning of our stay (over TET holiday) was not the friendliest especially with our 8 year old who became quite frightened of him. On the last day of our stay there was a lovely smiley new driver who made all the difference. Thanks again to the whole team again !Mume: "Food is very delicious! I will visit again!"
Currently ranked #43 on the Asia Top 50 Restaurants, food at Mume is very delicious. The menu is ala carte, and the selections are short and easy to decide. The cooking is European-Asian fusion. Using a combination of Taiwanese ingredients and Nordic influences to deliver a modern, light cuisine. All the dishes I ordered were very good. I wish to order more, but I had a big lunch and dinner at Mume was early at 6pm. Great service. Will visit again. The restaurant is small. "We loved the lodge, from the moment we arrived the warm welcome and the stunning location were as much as we could have hoped for. From kayaking in the mangroves to swimming in the waterfalls and in the river just outside your tent - this place is anything but dull - check out their activity programme. We are vegan & vegetarian and the staff accommodated us completely - with a varied and changing menu with multiple options every day. "Simply stunning hotel - design, decoration and the gardens. All these coupled with the good service made our experience an exceptional one.
