The Samar: "Perfect gateway to the temples, with the personal touch"
"I came to Siem Reap for a mix between work and leisure and Samar Villa was the perfect fit. First, as I saw in many reviews, Bertrand and his team are always very attentive to our every need. They helped us organize various functions: from meals in unique restaurants, to temples visits and surprising platform rental with full service on Tonle Sap. We and our clients left absolutely delighted by our stay. Apart from this wonderful service, the villa itself is remarkable. The owners have impeccable taste and a beautiful collection of antiques throughout the public areas and rooms. My suite was spacious and homey and spotless, like I've rarely seen. Breakfast and the food in general were very good and generous. All in all, I highly recommend it and look forward to a 2nd visit."Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing Inle Lake"
"This hotel was pretty special, we had a chalet style room with a verandah overlooking the lake with sun loungers, chairs and table. The room was excellent and the bathroom had ""his & her"" wash basins, a bath and an outside shower. There was a good restaurant, bar and swimming pool and we arrived by boat being rowed by the distinctive local leg rowing method. Wifi only obtainable in reception and restaurant/bar areas "Kinabalu Park: "Lovely experience at the lodge"
"Most people will travel on the day to HQ prior to their climb but this year, I decided to stay at HQ so it will not feel so rushed the next day. This turned out to be the best idea. We came as a group of 4 and were given a private room to ourselves. Everything was very clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Towels were provided and so's bottles of water and added bonus, we have tea/coffee making facility in our room! What a treat. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone thinking of hiking up Mount Kinabalu .... stay a night at the park prior to your climb."The Village House: "Gorgeous Boutique Hotel"
This is the perfect place to unwind for a few days. It's an easy 40 min drive from Kuching, and it's incredibly relaxing and peaceful. It's a simple hotel but a lot of care and love has gone into its set up and decoration, and it was full of beautiful artwork from local artists. The rooms were lovely (we stayed in the Raj room), the food was delicious and the service wonderful and attentive.MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Best Honeymoon spot"
"My husband and i have literally just left the resort and i want to go back. I have had an amazing time. 1. The place was beautiful 2. The facilities were amazing. 3. The staff were very attentive, friendly and made our stay memerabe. 4. Very luxurious We traveled for 24 hours and as the drove us through the front gates we saw the beautiful building (old stationhouse) they use as a lobby. All the buildings on the site were rescued from destruction and given new life. The detail even down to the hot towels on arrival made us feel so welcome. That little touch helped wipe our travels off our face. The spa treatments are very well priced. Our hamam with a body scrub was very needed, and part of the reason i want to go back. The food were great and the breakfast veey yummy. My favorite part was watching my husbands face drinking the tonic at breakfast. They offer various brews that help clease the body. As i worked at a head office for organic juicing i know that all are very healthy and great quality. There was a previous comment by someone about things taking longer. Yes they do because the staff take care to make sure things are right. If you stayed as long as we did(6 days/5night) then you would know they take just as much pride in the place as the owners must do. Plenty of activites to satisfy."Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Authentic Khmer dishes in wonderful setting"
Well reviewed by many travel writers, we chose this and booked months ago as it is very popular and the owners do close the restaurant for weeks at a time. Tasting menus A and B which you can try one of each as a couple - superb. We chose the fan cooled upper floor rather than the AC ground floor that catered more for those that wanted a modern restaurant. With the windows open even on a rainy evening, it was fresh and lush. Food was fabulous and really tested our understanding of Cambodian food. We were welcomed by Carole and her chef husband visited each table when he brought the fruit selection that ended each menu and you had the chance to talk to - a lovely personal touch.Hotel Tugu Bali: "Excellence in Canggu!"
We stayed at Hotel Tugu for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the accom, great food and best of all the outstanding service by the friendly staff! The room, grounds and location so perfect with easy access to the beach and shops nearby. We recommend the hotel to anyone wanting exclusive service and privacy supported by flexible and courteous staff who are always on hand to make your stay a memorable one. 5 stars!! Thank you Ari to you and your staff who made our stay in Canggu unforgettable!!4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Simply stunning"
"My wife and I booked our trip to Cambodia a year ago. The 4 Rivers Floating Lodge came highly recommended so we were really looking forward to our stay. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The location is stunning, the rooms are wonderful, the food is superb and the staff are some of the nicest people we have met on our trip. We went on a couple of excursions which were both great fun. The guides are very knowledgeable and ensure you have a great time. Do not miss the trip to see the fireflies. It’s only a short trip by boat but really impressive. The owners deserve a special mention for the great work they are doing with the local community. They employ a number of people from the local villages and I understand that they support a local school. I would go back tomorrow if I could. Nick & Jo"Manda De Laos: "Great food, beautiful location"
The restaurant is set overlooking a lake filled with lotus flowers and lily pads, the majority of the restaurant is outdoors but covered. The food served is fresh and tasty, the menu serves seasonal, traditional Laos food with a modern twist along with other, mainly South East Asian dishes. Everything we ordered was execllent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.Tugu Bali: "Marvelous"
I and my husband just had an amazing meal at this restaurant. It's a very stylist place with a really lovely ambience. The food is absolutely delicious with alot of choice. Service and setting fantastic. We will return and highly recommended.
