The Twelve Hotel: "An oasis of calm in the center of Bangkok"
We stayed 3 nights from January 12 to 14 is a hotel located in an old restored traditional, beautiful harmony between style and TAII contemporain.Tres welcome and comfortable bath rooms with modern sanitary. no review á makeThe Cabochon Hotel: "An oasis in the middle of chaotic Bangkok"
The Cabochon was heaven. The hotel is wonderfully decorated with antique items and gorgeous little nooks and crannies that make you want to photograph everything. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, catering to anything we needed. The breakfast was scrumptious - great way to start your day touring around Bangkok. The restaurant served the best food we had during our entire stay in Thailand.David’s Kitchen: "Excellent food, service and atmosphere."
I was visiting Chiang Mai for a short weekend and read about this restaurant online. Reservations were made easily online and followed up by email. The restaurant was easy to find but location change across the river. The restaurant is beautiful inside with a very cozy atmosphere. There was a live piano during my dinner, which was nice. David personally came and greeted every table. He stayed by my table for a bit because I was alone and made me feel at home. The food was exquisite. I had a raw salmon appetizer, lobster bisque, and lamb chops - all of which I would recommend. David suggested a restaurant for lunch the following day and sent me a very detailed and warm thank you email the following morning. Thank you David!Sanak Retreat Bali: "Beautiful, peaceful, authentic Bali"
I stayed three nights here with my husband and our two teenage sons. Nestled in a beautiful valley with views to the across lush green rice paddies and mountains covered with clove trees and palms, Sanak provides a chance to experience the best of rural Bali. It's a long and windy drive over the mountains from the south but well worth it. With just 11 villas, this feels like a boutique retreat offering a fairly unique experience. Most guests are there for the peace and beauty of the place and many guests take the opportunity to do guided walks, treks or canoeing - we did a waterfall walk and a canoeing trip and both were reasonably priced and well worth while, with excellent local guides. Most of the staff are from the local villages and you get the sense that they take great pride in the resort. The villas are lovely with a truly Balinese flavour and the cool evening breeze makes sleeping comfortable without air con - once you adjust to the sounds of dogs and roosters! The restaurant offers a limited menu but the food is of a very good standard and there is enough variety for a stay of a few days. Our whole family loved Sanak's simple elegance and we take away lovely memories of a special part of Bali. Thank you.MesaStila: "What a retreat!"
"Had the most amazing stay in this place. From my villa, the attentiveness of the staff, the stunning views and the morning yoga surrounded by a coffee plantation. This place is definitely the best place if you are looking to disconnect and recharge energy. LOVED IT!"muang la: "Northern Laos a very special spa resort"
"Situated on a river with hot springs and nestled in beside a small village this Hotel taught us more about high quality cuisine and life in Laos than any other. It was unseasonably cold but with coal fires in buckets (!) at each table and a large fire pit close by we were never cold. Hotwater bottles in the beds, hot thermal tubs on stilts in amongst the trees, a pool on an island, I think you must be getting the picture that this is a pretty special place. From the hotel we visited hill villages and this is a great place to hike from. Picnics, 4x4 vehicles and guides, transfers etc all organised by this hotel. It is a remote part of Laos and therefore very unspoilt. This is a gem of a hotel in such a far away place "Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Beautiful, unspoilt, far flung"
It's a bit a trek to get to (4.5 hours from Phuket airport) but it's worth it. A set of individual villas for rent next to the deserted beach with monkeys, hornbills, butterflies and pigs for company. The staff, particularly Massi, are super friendly. The Island Lodge: "A SMALL PARADIS"
It was the end of our trip and we did not have much time. Nevertheless, we wanted to see the Mekong Delta. After some Internet research, I wanted to come to this lodge. In addition, it was not too far from HCMC. They sent a car. When you arrive, you wonder where you are. And you discover the lodge: an incredible location along the Mekong (private jetty), an incredible design with beautiful objects everywhere. gorgeous room with a view ... wonderful, warm pool. Attentive staff. Kitchen (in Vietnamese or French choice) delicious. We did a fantastic treatment at Spa. There are lots of activities on offer. We opted for the tour of the island next to bicycle and boat. It was beautiful and enjoyable. Anyway, congratulations to Michel and Françoise have created this little corner of dreams where everything is perfect, for which we have only one regret: not to stay longer. Thank you all for having contributed to the excellence of our trip. Helene and Jean-Michel VerdonMume: "Always amazing"
I've been a couple of times in this high level restaurant, the taste and the visual are extremely precise. I love it, a must do in TaipeiManukan Island Resort: "Staff are there main asset"
"We visited here for a 4 night short holiday at the end of our main holiday in Malaysia. We were very impressed with all the staff at the resort. They excel in customer service and really do go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We made some comments about the breakfast ( not covered / few flies buzzing around) - it was addressed straightway, professionally. The chalet we had was very nice and enjoyed having our little beach to come and go as we please. Everywhere is very clean. The island it self doesn't have a huge choice of things to do, other than snorkel, and is definitely bring a book place. The island is busy during the day with day trippers but it's great at night when you get it you self - you get to wander about, sat on the jetty watching the fish. There a few good food choices - the main restaurant is good - slightly more expressive than mainland but then food is imported. You might get tired of the menu after a few days - a refresh or daily specials would be good. It's doesn't offer a huge number of options for families but if you just want somewhere to relax and watch the world go by with excellent services I would recommend."
