Pindaya Farm House: "Warmly Welcomed"
We so much enjoyed our time at Thahara Pindaya that we considered extending our stay and cancelling our trip to Mrauk U! We loved Pindaya and this farm house stay was a big influence on the overall experience. As strange as this might sound, staying at Thahara was a memorable highlight of our second visit to Myanmar. Conversations with hosts Aye Aye and Ko Yangon provided deeper insights to the community we would have otherwise missed. All reasonable requests can be satisfied by the hosts and their extended network of family and friends. The accommodations are well appointed, and the meals are out of this world.Satri House: "Paradise in Luang Prabang. It makes the greatest choice of this trip."
"This isn't going to be an easy review as there were many great points and didn't want to be missed. Hospitality was superb. GM Giovanni, Julie, and the team from Satri House were professional, helpful, attentive, always eager to make our stay better as possible. Room and ambience were exceptional. Room was spacious, clean, in colonial. The bed and pillow were very comfortable and clean and I had slept very well. The turn down service and snack was a great touch. Restaurant served one of the best food we had in Luang Prabang, we dined here every day throughout our stay for lunch and dinner due to the quality we can be assured of. None of the dishes we ordered has disappoint us. GT pasta, mekong fried whole fish, red curry with duck, lemongrass stuff pork were our favorite. Price was very reasonable too. Breakfast was great with fresh bakery and jam handmade by themselves. I missed the pineapple and tomato jam so much, they were really delicious. The service crew were very attentive and always eager to help. To an extend, they were flexible to cook fried noodle which was out of standard breakfast compliment menu for my husband as he requested. To sum up, every thing seem to be very well thought for guest in all aspects. From giving choice of welcome drink and to have it in library or inside room, putting straw hat (1 for male and 1 for female) in guest room and benches besides swimming pool, mini movie room with complimentary pop corns, library room, using natural lemongrass essential oil to repel mosquitos, decorations with antiques, it was truly an amazing experience not to be missed. Thank you once again to the whole Satri House team for making our wedding anniversary stay a truly memorable one."Maison Polanka: "Outstanding boutique hotel"
Great quality hotel with exceptional staff who could went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. The grounds are delightful and the rooms spacious. The hotel is in easy reach of the town yet far enough out to offer a peaceful setting.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Must visit"
"The moment you step into the place, you know you are in for a treat and then the food starts coming and it taste like heaven. All the dishes were explained nicely by the waiters and the quantity for the six course was just right. They even did a vegetarian menu for my wife and as per her, it was the best vegetarian meal she ever had. Ps: do try their cocktails."Supanniga Cruise: "Well worth it!"
"The biggest tip I can give is - go to their facebook page and follow them - you will then be privy to their specials (50% off or buy 3 get 1 free) - there seems to always be something! We did the dinner and champagne cruise and it was beautiful. Perfect food (as always with Supanniga restaurants) and the boat was much much better than the other you see on the river. Cant fault it and would so go again."Heritage Suites Hotel: "Truly remarkable staff from top to bottom!"
"I acquired a two nights stay at the heritage suites through a silent auction in Shanghai. I was unable make it to Cambodia before the expiration date of the room nights. The general manager was cool enough to extend the time frame and after staying I am more grateful to the management than before! Beautiful rooms, affordable and world class food and beverage! But the true highlight our stay was the hotels staff! All were outstanding in both service and attitude. Rathner , the server by the pool was a standout but really all of them truly seemed to care about the guests here. The adventures office staff set us up with a private boat tour, personal driver, helicopter tour. Take their advice on everything!! They are right! The front desk are all pros and made sure all of our needs were met and checking was seamless. I wish I could remember everyone's name but trust me, they are all very good at what they do. The owners of this property have truly been blessed with a Fantastic staff and I will definitely be back to see them again. The temples are beautiful but the people at this property made this trip special for us. Well done!"Tugu Lombok: "Still dreaming of Hotel Tugu"
"We spent a wonderful week in Hotel Tugu during our first visit to Lombok. We went as a family (with our young son and my parents visiting from UK). The staff provided some of the best service we've had since we moved to Indonesia and they were so welcoming, sincere, attentive and helpful (especially with our son!). The rooms are beautifully rustic but have everything you might need. Some of our most memorable experiences included doing a couple of day trips snorkelling with sea turtles next to the Gilis (with the hotel's own boatman who was very experienced and a great guide). We also borrowed sea canoes for a couple of evening paddles in the bay and spent long afternoons playing on the beach and in the swimming pools with our son. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner were all delicious... and best of all the staff can serve dinner virtually anywhere you want on the beach, on the grass under the stars, on your balcony or in one of the 2 restaurants. I would highly recommend booking the 'Royal Cultural Dining' experience for one evening when you go."Hotel Tugu Bali: "Unforgettable experience"
"My partner & I stayed with Tugu for a weekend and had the most unforgettable time. We were greeted by the PR of the hotel who gave us a detailed and wonderful tour of the place. Annisa showed us Tugu's very own museums and temples located at the front of the hotel, which is also opened to the public. The spa at Tugu is a must, we stayed in Bali for 1 month and had numbers of massage and the treatments at the Spa here is by far the most impressive. Perfect sunset watching point at Ji by The Terrance at the hotel which also serves amazing sushi and cocktails. Breakfast & Dinner in the hotel were perfect, a great mix of western and Indonesian food with impeccable services. Our room was perfect for a couple and has a breathtaking view of the lotus pond in the hotel overlooking Echo beach. We had an incredible time and would definitely come back. 10/10 Thank you again for such an incredible stay."Satri House: "Absolute oasis of calm and tranquility"
After the hustle of Hanoi we flew into Luang Prabang and spent 3 nights at the Satri House Hotel, it was superb. In easy walking distance from the town centre, fantastic beautifully furnished room and lovely grounds with charming pool. The staff were also first class --- I can't think of a single criticism. We have travelled in Indochina before and use trip advisor regularly but this is the first time I have ben moved to write a review ---it was excellent.Mekong Villas: "Hidden Gem"
"Lovely people at a lovely spot. The only thing unfortunate was the cold wheather and Thai brick beds. Other than that plain lovely! If you like quiet the slightly steep price is definitely worth it! They organized dinner and a boat trip for us, both very reasonably priced."
