Misool: "Paradise"
"Was my first time diving and I do t think I could have chosen a better world location. The trip was worth the length to go to a location where you can switch off from the world. If you want relaxation or adventure it has it all! Just happens to be in one of the most amazing locations in the world. GET THERE!"Samanea Beach Resort: "Good family time"
The staff was very friendly, they were always ready to accommodate your request and provide their best service. Don't forget that you are in Cambodia and their standard may not be as high as other countries in South East Asia. We were looking for a remote, quiet place to relax, the resort match our expectation and even slightly above.Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazingly relaxing holiday"
"We stayed one week at Slow Private Pool villas and had the most amazing and relaxing time; just what we needed. The staff went out of there way to help us. Slow has the most helpful and accommodating staff. The Slow Spa is wonderful. Gili Air itself is already a perfect island getaway with a tranquil vibe and Slow Villas only enhances that feeling. Fabulous holiday! We will certainly come back."Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Raffinement et ecologique"
"Cet hôtel est situé à l'extrémité du lac INLE. Uniquement 6 bungalow sur pilotis, décoration très raffinée,calme garanti. 3 rangées de bungalow séparés par des jardins marchés . Une école de cuisine et métiers de l'hôtellerie pour 40 étudiants. Un élevage de chats BIRMAN, un aquarium présentant les poissons du lac. Un souci écologique très poussé. Une expérience unique. Stayed December 2016, traveled solo"Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic"
We loved our 2 night stay at Villa Song. Room was extremely spacious with balcony. A major positive was the location next to the Saigon River - great location and only a short boat trip to the city centre. The boat ride on the river was in itself very enjoyable. Had an excellent massage at the spa. Without asking, we had a room made available through to our evening flight. Can recommend dining nearby at the Deck.Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Best of cambodia"
We travelled from Phnom Penh to Siem reap and stayed 2 nights at this beautiful place. We arrived in the evening, then the staff organised a fantastic day trip for us. One more evening and we had to check out. Breakfast was wonderful. Service amazing. Room authentic and lovely. This was my favourite place to stay in the whole of Cambodia. There is a reason Angelina Jolie stayed here when she made her latest film. It's the best. My only regret...I wish we had stayed 4 nights. Battambang deserves more time than a quick stop over.4 rivers: "A Perfect Romantic Getaway"
"We travelled overseas for the first time and we are anxious and excited of what we're going to see. We visited Siem Reap first and then the amazing 4Rivers Floating Lodge. It was a genius idea on how it was built and Anna's dedication in preserving the river and the surroundings of Tatai is just magnificent! A perfect destination for couples. Lovely view of nature, high-class accommodation, an efficient booking system, and the warmth and hospitality is very much felt and experienced. I have to give a special shout out to the kitchen staff because I could not even find the right word to describe how delicious their food is! Beef Loklak is extraordinarily tasty, and even the simple fried rice is sumptuous! How can you not enjoy your vacation when your tummy is happy? Just as expected, 4Rivers is beautiful and would definitely come back and recommend it to our friends. "Samanea Beach Resort: "Best of the Rest"
"I had lived in Phnom Penh for a couple of years and visited Kep many times. It took a vacation trip a year later for me to run upon Samanea Beach. It's like a park when you first see it, spacious uncluttered and green, green, green. The Bungalows are the nicest I'd stayed in in years, huge and tastefully decorated. I meant to stay for three nights and was still there two weeks later. Low key, super pool, great food, excellent staff and above all, incredibly beautiful. Room Tip: Check out the wifi strength before you choose your Bungalow. It's generally good but some Bunga..."Tugu Bali: "Hidden gem"
Absolutely beautiful property full of Balinese culture and Indonesian history; you could spend a day itself properly exploring, learning about, and enjoying the hotel itself. Staff were impeccable and went out of their way to meet my very need; super friendly. Easy walk (less than 2min) to the beach where there are excellent waves for surfing right there at Batu Bolong beach (with other excellent breaks nearby). Plenty of excellent and hipster restaurant/Cafe options; Canggu way more laid back and less chaotic than Kuta or Seminyak. Can sometimes be noisy at night given proximity to the some of the most happening bars in Canggu, but if you’re looking for intimate luxury in a super-cool part of Bali, Tugu is your place. Rooftop bar had outstanding views, where I also ate my breakfast every morning to watch surfers catch the morning swell. While I came solo, I would bring my family back here in a heartbeat. Thanks Tugu!GLENBURN TEA ESTATE: "Attentive service and superlative luxury"
"We stayed at the end of a 3-week trip around India. What a stunning location high in the hills and quite unlike everywhere else we visited - so quiet, peaceful and unspoilt. We enjoyed the tea and the variety of foods we were served up. We loved relaxing and being pampered. Our room was larger than many London apartments and the bath was literally the biggest in the world. How they got it and all the other furniture down that bumpy road we will never know. We were served 'bed tea' in the morning and breakfast on the verandah with views over the hills and colourful birds swooping in and out of the trees nearby. One morning we took an early walk down the hill to the river, with two bird guides. A stunning walk through the tea bushes. We saw about 30 different species on that walk and were met at the bottom by a table at the water's edge, with our own personal breakfast service. Incredible! Exceptional!! The best part of the stay was the staff. One local young man Ranjan did the tea tour with us and invited us to a wedding at his friend's house. So we all trooped up the hill to a real Indian wedding with great local food and drinks, and a group of smiling people welcoming us strangers into their house. Remarkable. He and many of the other local staff spoke fluent English and were so humble and friendly, I wish I could employ them back in the UK. The resort is managed by a British couple Will and Faye, and currently another Will (I understand that this third team member changes regularly), who were attentive and took care of our every need without imposing on our holiday. They ate with the guests at dinner time and made the trip really special. The two Wills invited me to try fishing with them (unsuccessful but fun!). It's a rare treat to get to stay somewhere so beautiful, and so luxurious, and with such friendly hosts. Thanks to you all!! "
