Samanea Beach Resort: "Excellent resort"
"he resort is situated at the sea shore two km from the crab market in Kep. The villas are great, with lots of space and a very beautiful bathroom. The garden is beautiful. The swimming pool is excellent, having a great view to the ocean. Service is outstanding. They offer a good selection of French wine in the bar. This is by far the best resort we have tried in S.E. Asia- and it outcompetes 5 star hotels."Dewakan: "Fab for foodies"
If you are into food and fine dining experiences then Dewakan is a must visit while in Kuala Lumpur. The staff were polite and knowledgable and the food was deliciously served without the usual arrogance of the fine dining industry. The whole experience was understated excellence! The Samar: "2nd stay and always so nice!!!!"
"I was back in Siem Reap in May and stayed again at The Samar with a group of friends. The staff remembered me and my habits... and this time they propose us to experience other activities such as a picnic on a platform on the Tonle Sap, some puppet show... lot of creativity and attention to details... it made us feel we were not just in a hotel, but staying with friends sharing their secrets with us to make us discover their area. Nicely done... and the hotel has not changed in a year. Excellent maintenance. and rates are very reasonable and maybe even lower than many for a better quality."Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Didn’t know what to expect and had a memorable evening"
A relaxed environment, not at all pretentious. You can eat inside or out. This was booked way ahead, which we understand is necessary. Wonderful, imaginative food, served without fuss, but just attentive enough.Glenburn Tea Estate: "bliss"
We arrived at this beautiful place after a bumpy but breathtaking 6 hour drive from sikkim. . Faye, Will and Alex were there on the door step to greet us and we instantly felt like one of the family. The other guests were great fun..... mostly..... and it was really lovely to sit around the group table for dinner and listen to everyones travel stories. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. I have a fabulous massage in the little spa and the therapist eased away my aches and pains. Gin and tonics on the terrace overlooking the mountains and it really felt like a scene from Indian Summers. The rooms are gorgeous and after a week of homestays etc the beds were Bliss! There is a lot to do there and the staff are great at organising anything tailormade to suit your requirements. We went on to stay at the Tollygunge in Kolkata that they recommend and that was great in a completely different way. I could not recommend this wonderful hotel highly enough. i felt totally spoilt and loathe to leave Thanks again to Faye and the team for all their help. Room Tip: the one with the spanish wood four poster bed!Samanea Beach Resort: "Wonderful Resort"

Our family of four loved it here. Beautiful scenery, pool and the staff are so friendly, calm and wanting to make your holiday enjoyable. The food was excellent. We did the walk to the waterfall which was impressive and clean. We relished swimming under it after becoming hot from walking. And in the afternoon we all indulged in the most wonderful massages. My therapist was calming and such a sweet lady. Totally recommend this boutique retreat in the hills.David’s Kitchen: "Wonderful food and service"
All the reviews say it all. If you are visiting Chiang Mai and your budget allows this restaurant is a must. Prices are about the same as a good restaurant in the UK. Food is exceptional, very large choice to suit all palettes. Great wine list. The service is very attentive nice touch is that David greets dinners. Wonderful experience.Flower Island: "Relaxing in paradise"
"Staying here was like being in paradise- your own tropical heaven away from everything. There's some incredible coral reef around which makes for some excellent snorkelling: we saw turtles on a number of occasions as well as a plethora of tropical fish. They also have some giant clams in the coral right in front of the beach. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and on one day took us to a pearl farm. I highly recommend a visit to the pearl farm - it's so fascinating to see this industry at work (not to mention more amazing snorkelling opportunities along the way!) (...) You can also hike up to the light house (around 10-15 mins) to get some lovely 360 degrees views. And there is a stone path going around the island for running: a complete cycle is around 1.7km, so 3 rounds, we did 5.5km ish. Oh - and did I mention those stunning sunsets...?"Reverie Siam: "What a wonderful place!"
We spent my wive's birthday here and it was just wonderful. The love everything here - the ambience, the room, the food, the wine and the very friendly and highly skilld personal. We will deffinitely come back with our friends to celebrate my birthday! Martin & Ann
