SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "must visit when in yangon"

My husband and me went for dinner to this amazing restaurant which is so lovingly handled by the chef and his wife. The food is amazing, service top notch and the place itself is so beautiful. I would recommend this over Le planteaur anyday. The food here is tastier and better value for price. They serve a starter plate and salads, tasting desert plate. Attention to details is amazing. Must not miss this when in Yangon.

Satri House: "Lovely oasis in Luang Prabang"

"We stayed at Satri House for 3 nights at the end of our Laos trip. The hotel rooms are beautifully refurbished and full of antiques (and have modern showers & A/C!). Rooms fumigated every night too to get rid of mosquitos. Lovely pool to relax in and little poolside bar. Free bikes on offer to explore the city and the staff are very helpful in arranging / suggesting places to visit and restaurants. No TVs in the room help relax and adjust to the pace of life! Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"

Inle Princess Resort: "An unmissable place"

This is a wonderful experience. Fabulous setting, very high standard of accommodation with many little extras such as fruit and biscuits in the room, a bird book and binoculars for our use. Charming, helpful staff, good food on a terrace overlooking the lake. We were sad to leave.

Thank you Thank you."" Maison Polanka is boutique with just 5 rooms in a walled garden setting. It is not for the budget conscious traveller and it is not expensive for the value provided. Room Tip: All 5 rooms are great and the gardens are so beautiful that I would be happy to stay in my tent ther..."

Babe: "Great food and great view"

"Food : we had the set dinner / omakase and it was amazing. It was nice to be surprised at every course. View : we were seated inside but we took a stroll to the outdoor seating. The view is very great. Special mention to the lady host which speaks multiple languages."

The Hue House: "Lovely Restaurant"

The place so nice, staff so lovely... and food also delicious. You should to come in the everning and enjoy this place.

The Island Lodge: "Calm, quiet and very very nice"

"This is a secret paradise with french couple Michel and Francoise being the perfect hosts. Service is extremely friendly, present and polite. Rooms are clean and very very cosy all having a great view over pool and the river. "

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "French class comes to Khmer cooking"

We had a wonderful night at Cuisine Wat Damnak. The owner greeted us personally at the door and we had a brief conversation in Khmer. The food was exquisite and there was a choice of two degustation menus. In truth it was hard to choose because they were both so good. Great quality food and great value. Highly recommended.

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Un séjour inoubliable"

A colonial atmosphere, friendliness and the British Indian kindness, combined with a dream location opposite the Mt Kanchenjunga. I was greeted very cordially by British managers, who awarded me the wonderful "Planter's Suite", a through following the mahogany furniture, with a charming veranda where it was so good tea. The hosts are fully supported, everything is included: in the morning, a lovely young Indian servant just wake up with a tray of tea and delicious cookies, then it's breakfast on the grass facing the Himalayas lunch under an arbor, the "afternoon tea" facing the mountains turn pink, then dinner, convivial moment where places are allocated differently each day and where one knows only by first names. Free excursions are offered: the very interesting visit to the tea factory (one of the best ever), visiting plantations in a superb landscape, picnic cottage by the river (where I flambéed bananas tasted the best of my life!). The Indian staff is really lovely. Tip: this hotel more suited to a relaxing stay at visiting Darjeeling, because the resort is very remote and the road to Glenburn is really terrible!

MesaStila: "Head Over Heels In Love with This Place"

"I just fell head over heels in love with this place. It's a hidden gem. Totally underrated. Breathtaking views of the mountains and sunset, personalized service and true Javanese hospitality. We got a villa with a mountain view and it was worth paying a bit more for it. We enjoyed the tour of the property's coffee plantation and the spa. My eight-year-old son enjoyed horse riding through the village surrounding the resort. I also went trail running with by their awesome fitness manager. It's one of my most memorable experiences going up and down slopes through the property's coffee plantation, on jungle trails, past beautiful paddy terraces as the local villagers greeted us. Would I go back? It's a definite yes."
