Mathis Retreat: "great hotel"
Quiet rice fields rooms with great pool and good breakfast. Good to use as base for family to explore Ubud and neighbouring villages. Manager was great and helped organize quite a few day trips for us.Tugu Malang: "Visit Malang-Banyuwangi between 2 venues"
"Hotel is well located at a big roundabout with a monument in the center. The rooms are very nice decorated, with a nice flower arrangement and fruit platter. The amenities are environment friendly packed by recycled paper. The staff are very friendly from the receptionist till the room attendants. Breakfast is also well served from fresh fruit till home made bread, jam and Indonesian food. On top of all, they serve everyday during teatime complimentary goodies and tea/coffee. They have also a huge collection of antiques that you can walk through or guided tour is also available on request. Will definitely come back to this hotel when visit Malang again"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "history"
"If you want that historical experience then this is the place to get it. there is no luxurious Hilton Hotel room but the charm & historical feeling is all worth it. The room is enormous & the bathroom although has modern shower taps the decor is from the era long gone. service is great & the food was good as well. Breakfast was included & consisted of buffet of fruit & cereals & a la-cart hot breakfast & first time I had a hotel say to me after I had finished my breakfast ""have you had enough, would you like some more?"" The house is also a museum & has daily tours & is very interesting to learn about the history of the house. its close to a lot of attractions including the wharfs & a short distance to all the famous Panang street wall paintings & art. Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"Villa Song: "Villa Song Excels"
It is not at all surprising that former patrons of Villa Song are so enthusiastic about this boutique hotel. It is located in a quiet part of Saigon and has river frontage. The hotel is very well appointed, with friendly staff and very good food. A private (free) water taxi can quickly take you to the heart of Saigon thus avoiding the crazy city traffic. The rooms are large and our bed was very comfortable. My only concern was the steep spiral stair case to the top (3rd) floor bedrooms. This can be a bit of a challenge with those with knee/hip issues, as there is no lift. Do not miss the large swimming pool that is located at the rear of the hotel. If you are wanting a boutique quality hotel in Saigon, then this is it.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Delightful boutique accommodation"
"We stayed for 2 nights. This is a wonderful organisation offering accommodation and training for young people in the hospitality industry. They grow their own vegetables and herbs on site. The food was very good. In particular i can recommend the spring onion fritters - an Inthar recipe - very tasty and delicious. The staff here were lovely and very attentive. Only downsife was the noise from the boats and some noises in the roof at night from wildlife. Apart from that I would recommend this to those who are looking for somewhere small and boutique. "Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Must visit"
"The moment you step into the place, you know you are in for a treat and then the food starts coming and it taste like heaven. All the dishes were explained nicely by the waiters and the quantity for the six course was just right. They even did a vegetarian menu for my wife and as per her, it was the best vegetarian meal she ever had. Ps: do try their cocktails."The Apsara Rive Droite: "Classic Modern"
"Well, may not look busy but great menu with fusion of traditional and western influences. Don't be put off by what may appear to be lack of patronage. Staff are well trained and friendly. Try, Fish Cakes, Pumpkin Curry, Buffalo Cheeks (Yummy) etc., Manager, Chris can discuss any special requirements. This is also a highly regarded boutique hotel on the Historic Peninsula over looking the Nam Kahn river. Stayed January 2017"Hotel Tugu Lombok: "What a nice place"
"We (couple with daughter) spent 3 days at this exceptional hotel. Usually we go out to explore the surrounding but this time we stayed at the hotel because it is such a nice place. The staff and management are really motivated to give the guests an unforgettable time. The place is spacious and the rooms are big and very nice decorated. Only downside is the beach. Good for having a relax time on the sunbeds but not so good for swimming. There are some sea urchin. The hotel provides special shoes so you still can go in the water. A better alternative is to go to Gili Air for swimming, diving or snorkeling. It is very close (20 min. by boat). Or just stay at one of the pools and enjoy the very good bar and restaurant. Thanks to everyone who made or stay so nice. We will be back for sure!"Supanniga Eating Room: "Top Thai ~ without a doubt"
"My only disappointment is that it took me so long to experience this treasure of a restaurant. It’s world class, not only in its delivery of exceptional Thai food but it’s down to earth nature. One for a repeat visit at every opportunity and I’ve been enjoying Thai cuisine for 30 years. Full marks to the owners, a wonderful gastronomic experience. Sorry for the limited images as I was too busy enjoying it all. Authentic Thai"The Island Lodge: "Safe Haven"
On arrival, our car dropped us. You have to take a small path to get to the hotel. This lush haven is by the Mekong River. We are greeted with a great "welcome drink". The rooms are beautiful, spacious and decorated tastefully. We are in the midst of lush nature and facing the Mekong. Children have much appreciated the lovely large pool. What happiness!
