The Hue House: "Nice restaurant"
"The Hue House Restaurant offers Hue and Vietnamese food, plus will be the only place which I have found in HCMC which has a great model of ""bun thit nuong"" (grilled pork, peanuts, noodles, sprouts and greens that's extremely well known within the south of the country). Food is genuine and portions are respectable. Staff is beneficial (to a fault) in ensuring you recognize the way to eat the meals properly (banh was ordered by me cuon there once, so the server insisted on coming 1 for me despite the protests of mine that i knew how you can do it!) The prices here are much more than reasonable. To match up against the adornment, quality of food and services, you are going to have an inexpensive price but five star service."Tugu Malang: "lovely boutique hotel with a lot of history"
i only stayed one night and liked it a lot. we were given a tour if the hotel and learned so much about the history of the house. there are so many pieces of art with so much history. stay there and take the tour. don't forget to eat there!Hotel Tugu Bali: "Vintage hotel with a charm"
What you get when you stay at a hotel owned by one of Indonesia’s biggest if not the biggest antique collector...is a decadent hotel decorated beautifully with vintage furnitures and antiques obviously all around. Lovely pool to enjoy in and the room was amazingly furnish showcasing Peranakan Heritage and culture. Evident in the snacks and tea provided as well. Like the lemongrass scented soaps.Babe: "Awesome Creative Fine Dining"
We visited lasted week, Had a really enjoyable experience with the amazing view of the sky line and the creative play on Japanese dishes.Tugu Bali: "4 day get away"
Very surprising when approached from the road- one would not expect the interior or reception that you are greeted with - the antiques / pictures / statues dotted around are quite fascinating - the staff are more than willing to enlighten you on the history and ethos of the owner.Mie Cafe: "Small Restaurant Big Flavours"
"The first impression here is great with a modern restaurant in a ramshackle street. The menu is a great fusion of traditional Khmer and modern cuisine. The flavour of the food was as good as anywhere in Siem Reap and very reasonably priced. Our pork ribs fell off the bone and our chicken curry was delicate and delicious. The service was a little slow but I suspect there were quite a few trainees this night. Well worth the visit."Villa Song Saigon: "Attention to detail superb"
"What a fabulous hotel to stay at. I decided to treat my 12 year old girl to a night at Villa Song to celebrate her birthday. We were not disappointed. From the booking to when we left, the hotel and its staff were excellent. Their communication was first class and we felt in good hands. Upon arrival we went up to the beautiful art suite, overlooking the Saigon River, to find the most beautiful rose bouquet and a handwritten note as a birthday welcome for my girl. The room was stunning, as was the bouquet. The room has an amazing view and as it is at the top (room 308) has an incredible view of the river. We had dinner sitting outside overlooking the river too. It has an indoor and outdoor section, but sitting outside was glorious. The lights and candles add to the ambience, although the music does need to change. Some beautiful Vietnamese music would be more appropriate. Dinner itself was a delight. The flavours of the food were intriguing and inviting and we were waited on well. The last surprise was a lovely cheesecake for my girl for her birthday - a lovely thought. The pool is lovely and warm and a very good size. Lastly, we had a spa treatment which was superb as well. We had both a facial and an aromatherapy massage. Both were delightful. Without a doubt we would love to return. The staff were so accommodating and this hotel deserves its excellent ratings."Yandabo Home: "Wonderful remote place by the river"
"If you are looking for authentic beauty and an experience of typical country style village life, Yandabo Home is the place to be. Beautiful brand new lodges , with well trained people, especially the 2 lovely ladies from guest relations, who joined us during the visit of the pottery village next door and to Pan Nyo village across the river for a look around this village famous for its buffaloes. This place gave me , together with Hpa An lodge in the south of the country, the best good feeling of Myanmar. No internet , no Tv, waw... Stayed November 2016, traveled as a couple"Maduzi Hotel: "Fantastic"
It is good to know there is a little oasis right in the centre of Bangkok. A great location right at the intersection of the MRT and BTS so travelling around is made easy. The rooms are large and comfortable, especially the beds that provide the best sleep. The staff are all very friendly and helpful that compliments the design and creative art work throughout. Breakfast is a treat with plenty of choices to please the palette. This will be my number one choice for a hotel in Bangkok going forward.Slow Villas and Spa: "Hidden Gem of a Villa!"
Slow villas is as splendid, as it's name! We were 4 friends that needed 2 days of rest and relaxation and this was the perfect place. Every time we called reception they were more than happy to help us with any request. The staff are excellent! We ordered deliver, hung out by the pool and stayed in our comfy Slow robes the 2 days. We even had the option of yoga and spa treatments. It is the perfect place to stay at on Gili Air for peace & tranquility. We can't wait to go back!!
