Villa Song Saigon: "Perfect River Side Restaurant"
The river is just beside the dinning area. The building, I feel there's a french romance in it. I found so many corners of it can make good seats. With some drinks and nice food, I had a perfect afternoon here!MesaStila: "Must-stay resort in Central Java"
The title says it all: if you travel in, or through, Central Java, you must stay in MesaStila. The resort is beautifully set in a historic coffee plantation in Java's highlands. Expect complete tranquility and Javanese hospitality. The villas are set along gentle slopes within the plantation and nature is never more than a few meters away. The villas have been carefully (re) built in local style and are quite spacious. The various common areas are spread across the property and make for a spacious, tranquil ambiance. Service is highly attentive and yet not intrusive. Last but not least, don't miss out on the spa!Villa Song Saigon: "Absolutely Beautiful"
"We arrived at Villa Song late at night and staff where more than happy to accommodate our request for food and drinks. Situated right on the river this small hotel is amazing Located in district 1 it is about 30 minutes from the airport in peak time. This is a bonus as you like you are a million miles away. Mr Yega Thiyagarajan the General Manager is a wealth of knowledge from places to eat or things to do he is more than happy to help Villa Song is a special place that I know we will visit again and again"Hotel Tugu Bali: "Hotel with Soul"
"If you are an art lover, history lover or luxury lover.. better yet... all three - THIS is your hotel. The minute you walk down the wooden planked front entrance, you know this is a special place. The hotel has been furnished from the owners private collection of antiques. Each piece has a story and specially placed on the property preserving his love of Balinese history. The antiques may be old, but the hotel has all modern wants for luxury but with the a unique touch in their boutique rooms. The baths & plunge pools are the highlight with tubs that you will want to build in your own home. This place is an oasis in Canggu."Sanak Retreat Bali: "Un havre de paix au milieu des rizières"
MesaStila: "Heaven on Earth"
This place is really something special. Spotlessly clean throughout, delicious free breakfast and afternoon tea every day, an extensive dinner menu full of tasty local Javanese dishes, enormous villa with a daybed on the veranda to while away the hours being immersed in the spectacular mountain scenery, a heavenly on-site hammam and spa. I could go on and on! But by far the best aspect of our stay was the staff who went above and beyond the usual service of any resort staff we've ever met, even going so far as to provide a complimentary Tiramisu after one dinner because I'd mentioned it was my favourite the day before! Being so close to the natural and cultural environment of Java complete with omnipresent birdcall and intermittent calls to prayer from the surrounding mosques was nothing short of magical. As was our private trip to Borobudur at dusk (the one time we could drag ourselves out of the resort) which was organised promptly with no fuss. Whilst there are many free activities provided such as a tour of the coffee plantation, yoga etc., relaxation took hold so thoroughly that we didn't join any of them...maybe next time. And since the 7 nights we spent at Mesa Stila was a pleasure from start to finish, there will definitely be a next time.Glenburn Tea Estate: "Dreamy"
"High in the clouds perched on a little mountain near Darjeeling sits the most incredible retreat in all of India. I looked forward to my stay for months, but nothing could have prepared me for just how WONDERFUL this place is. It's probably the closest thing I can imagine to being royalty- such a beautiful example of old colonial splendour, and you are treated like a VIP. I enjoyed the communal dining, where I met lovely people from around the world, and it's pretty special to be able to just go for a guided hike anytime you like- there is always a guide on hand. Though it was mostly cloudy when I stayed, in the mornings the clouds parted and I was lucky enough to get an incredible glimpse of Kachechunga (wow!!) Rates seem expensive, but include so much (transfers, laundry, all food, all hikes, all activities!) that I can't really complain about the price. Everything was of perfect quality. On a side note, I stayed as a solo female, and I felt very comfortable, and my privacy was completely respected. Room Tip: They all have their own charm. Can't go wrong."Dewakan: "Amazing experience – does justice to local produce!"
"What an amazing experience, we were blown away by the flavours - almost exploding in our mouths at every bite. The last time I experienced something similar was in Heston Blumenthal's Dinner restaurant in London, so I would say this is pretty close! We were amazed at what they could do with locally sourced ingredients and they truly did justice to Malaysian flavours. Kudos to the team there. Highly recommended to try at least once!"Cuca: "Best Dining Experienced in Bali!"
"This is my first time for us to dine at Cuca. One of my Friend who live in Bali recomended this place and also the chef from Folie Kitchen told us ""if you stay at Jimbaran you must try this restaurant Cuca"". They were so right! We had the best Dining experienced in Bali. We ordered 6 tapas (3 tapas each as recommended on the menu). For me the best dishes was Meat & Potato. It was simply delicious! And We ordered a couple of cocktails with the meal as well. I was very impressed with the waitress knowledge on every dishes that we ordered. When I asked one of the waiter what's in this dishes (meatball) she was able to describe all the ingredients. Overall I will give 5/5, I will definitely come back and will recommend this restaurant to my friends . JR"Maduzi Hotel: "An heavenly boutique hotel in the heart of Bangkok"
