David’s Kitchen: "Personalized service and excellent food"
My wife and I were able to dine here for my birthday. We enjoyed excellent personalized service during our entire visit. The staff used our names several times during service and the food was excellent. Some of the highlights were the pumpkin soup, rack of lamb, and chocolate souffle. David personally stopped by our table multiple times during the meal to check in with us and chat a bit. With a full restaurant we could tell that David really cared about the people in his restaurant and created a sense of eating at a friends house...if your friend has amazing food!Tugu Bali: "Came for the dancing, stayed for dinner"
We had a great time here. We saw the sign when passing looking for an ATM earlier in the day advertising the traditional dancing so decided to come back for dinner. Booking is essential! We got the last table. The dancing was great but the food was the best I’ve had in the week I’ve been here so far. Sure it’s a little pricey by Bali standards but I promise it is worth it! We would definitely come back.David’s Kitchen: "Great food prepared with love"
We ate at David's kitchen twice in a week. Discovering David's Kitchen was a wonderful treat! Lovely food and great service! Thank you David to you and your staff for a great culinary experience .Dewakan: "A culinary gem"
Heard about this place from friends n social media so decided to give it a try. Wow! Love love love. From the moment we walked in until we walked out, the experience was memorable. Food was excellent n service was top notch. Only setback is the distance. Truly a culinary gem.Tugu Bali: "Simply perfect!"
"We stayed at Hotel Tugu for 5 nights in April in one of the Dedari Suites (with a private pool). The second you walk into the hotel you know that you are going to have an amazing time. It is stunning and has a lot of art and statues and is very tranquil. We were given a welcome drink and orientation to the hotel and then taken to our room. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The rooms are enormous, have a 4 poster bed, gorgeous bathrooms with a sunken bath, shower and separate toilet. The garden area was equally stunning with a swing sofa and pool - not big enough to exercise in but bigger than a plunge pool I would say. One thing that for me really set this hotel apart was the fact that you can eat from the a la carte menu anywhere in the hotel or grounds that you choose. In addition, breakfast was included and you also order this from the a la carte menu any time of day from 7am. This was a massive bonus - too many times on holiday you force yourself out of bed to go to breakfast but we had it in our room every day and the choice available was excellent. Afternoon tea is served every day in the lobby every day. Also, if you get the chance we had one of their set meals one night and ate in the private dining room which is like a little museum full of curios and the food was incredible. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They can't do enough for you and were always smiling and polite. The rooms were kept beautifully clean and the Balinese massage at the spa was so relaxing my husband almost fell asleep! The location is also great. Just note that although it is set by the beach (so you can hear the waves at night) that the actual hotel is not on the beachfront and there are no sun loungers available on the sand. This wasn't a problem for us but it may be for some people. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. It was relaxing, beautiful and interesting - just what we needed for a few days of peace and tranquillity!"David’s Kitchen: "Wonderful french style dinner"
I booked this dinner for my father's 60th birthday. The restaurant is excellent including the atmosphere, the staff, the taste and etc.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Exceptional Service and a beautiful setting."
"This meets all the expectations mentioned in other reviews and is an exceptional training facility. Rooms spotless, restaurant deserves all the praise as do the staff. The downside for some who wish to relax and rest rather than be out and about all the time can be the noise of the boats going past during daylight hours as the engines can be noisy, and that to get anywhere you must take a boat as it is on an island not linked to the shore. While this was a not problem for me... it could be for others who travel differently. It is also a 1 hour by car, plus 1 by boat journey from Heho airport so early flights can be awkward. In saying the above.... I would still return for another holiday to the same hotel and recommend it to friends."Jing’s Residence: "Stunning"
An architectural gem--courtyard privacy and elegant spacious public rooms, with grand comfortable bedrooms, a management and wait staff that are friendly, helpful with great suggestions-- amazing hotel by any standardThe Hue House: "The best Hue food in HCMC"
The location is a bit hidden on top of office building on roof top. You will need to take the office lift to 10th floor. It is a bit hot in the afternooon, although they have fan there. Perfect for dinner. The food is super good. I love the bun bo hue.. the best I ever tasted. I came here twice this week. The place is still quiet, but I suspect won't be for long when the secret is out. The only area of improvement is to have better desert menu, especially sweet desert from central region. The Twelve Hotel: "Out of the ordinary"
Very unusual and stylish hotel. Rarely have we stayed in a hotel that was both so clean and comfortable and at the same time had so much charm. Room incredibly beautiful, breakfast very good, all very friendly there. The Twelve Hotel will remain in our memories and we definitely would choose again to stay there when we are in Bangkok. For us, absolutely perfect!Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
