Mie Cafe: "Perfect Dinner"
"You know how sometimes an evening just clicks and it is perfect, that was our dinner here. Hard to believe as there was a big puddle out front that required some interesting maneuvers to get across and shortly after being sat down the power went out. They do have a generator that they started up so power was back on in no time. We did try many of their dishes and all were wonderful. It was romantic, great service, but slow enough to enjoy a full evening with out the feel that they wanted to fill your table again. Make reservations as we saw at least 4 couples turned away as the tables were filled."Maduzi Hotel: "Suprising Find"
"Another Small Luxury Hotel booking . Arriving at the hotel I was a little worried . The entrance is unassuming and you walk past a small bar area to a very small reception area but the suite was great when we went upstairs. Large bedroom , separate lounge/ work area Good bathroom with jacuzzi and wet room shower , separate toilet and separate dressing area / walk in wardrobe, free mini bar with soft drinks and water and a great coffee machine. Only dislikes in the room were the quite fierce aircon which was difficult to manage, the glass screen door on the toilet ( not as private as one would wish) and also the bed ,as in many Thai hotels ,was on on the firm side . Breakfast was delicious and went on until 2.30 . Free tea and coffee available all day in the bar such a welcome after a day trekking around . The staff were able to organise an evening out suggesting a great alternative after a first choice was unavailable . They were unobtrusive but available whenever needed Situation just off the junction with Sukhumvit is perfect for BRT and MRT . Would definitely use the place again . Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Supanniga Cruise: "Dinner Cruise"
"One of our Best Dinner cruise for long ...we live in Thailand for the last 30 years we love this Country My thai friends and advertisement from FB attracted us to choose celebrating our Birthdays and anniversary to experience Dinner cruise and we choose Supanniga Cruise it was well worth it.... The greetings was warm n welcoming invited us to Board while waiting for others... and they open the champagne in front of us and pour and served w/ smile ...we have place to enjoy the champagne while watching the sun go down.. The Service is excellent very professional the Crew are friendly and very polite The Boat was well designed i love the sofas w/ nice colorful cushions The Thai Food is very Delish...very authentic compared to other river cruise service, the portioning is way very generous and serving it while seating enjoying the view of River of the Kings and sipping your cocktails champagne or your wine!!! The experience is par excellent service, Food, and the ambiente but most of all the privacy is very intimate...We love it n we enjoyed it to the Max i can recommend to all My family and friends .. Infact cant wait to go back soonThank you Supanniga for the wonderful evening we enjoyed it so much ... Please keep up the good work Mr Jojo Khap khun kha Best Regards, Mrs Nita Fegan"Supanniga Eating Room: "Best Thai food in Thailand!"
I realize my title is a bold claim. This is the food capital of the world, after all. (OK maybe NYC). But the passion for quality here is simply remarkable. The cabbage with fish sauce dish, for example, is so simple and yet mind-blowingly delicious. I believe this chef has another restaurant in BKK and one in NYC - both of which also get unbelievable reviews.
Maisons Wat Kor: "Gorgeous place to relax and have great food"
Gorgeous place, with tastefully decorated traditional Khmer houses around a pond filled with waterlillies. Excellent food, cosy chillout corners and a saltwater pool. The place is run by a wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable Cambodian couple. It is a 10 minute tuktuk ride from the town center, or a pleasant walk.Satri House: "Amazing"
Perfect boutique hotel, where style matches fantastic services: it’s like living in a beautiful house, furnished and decorated with amazing taste. Restaurant is worth both breakfasts and dinners: this is a must-stay hereSatri House: "A jewel"
Lovely colonial property with modern facilities. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Interesting rooms and common areas with beautiful antiques. Nice pool and garden, which makes this a perfect oasis to relax. Excellent food, too.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Beautiful Hideaway"
The Blue Mansion is a beautiful place to at. We stayed there for two nights during our visit to Penang. Its close to George Town. It is a beautiful place with great facilities and awesome and friendly staff.Misool Eco Resort: "Even better the second time around!"
"My wife and I first visited MER in 2013 (if interested, see my review dated July 9, 2013) and returned for our second visit in February of this year. Our observations: In the three years between visits, the fish life has continued to rebound in a remarkable fashion thanks to MER's No Take Zone and ranger patrols of that area. There is so much to see on every dive site. Brilliant colors abound, along with critters galore, sharks and mantas, too! Diving was the focus of our visit and we found the dive operation to be efficiently and expertly managed by Calvin and his support staff. The food was once again plentiful and delicious. A change since last time was the switch during lunchtime from buffet style to family style, where heaping plates of food were passed around each table. Great conversations were had daily when the guests came together at meal time. The grounds are clean and well maintained, the staff helpful and friendly, the spa services are varied and most satisfying and while my wife and I have traveled extensively around the globe, we found ourselves more relaxed on this trip than anywhere before. Marit and Andrew have a spectacular vision for this place and continue to look for ways to conserve and protect this beautiful part of the world, while allowing guests to come along for the ride. What a privilege for those who visit. We're already planning to return in 2018 and we can't wait to once again see the friends we've made at MER. Dave and Elaine"
