Mie Cafe: "Amazing"

The food is stunning. the decor very modern. And, yes, as per other reviews, the tuna tartar is superb. We will be going back for seconds!

misool: "Beyond expectations"

Review by: Cebhawley | Source: tripadvison.com
"My husband and I got certified in scuba to come here, and it was worth everything. Facilities were wonderful considering mission of resort. If I had vacation time and money, I would bring my three kids there tomorrow. House reef was such a lovely snorkel opportunity. Food was delicious, as long as one can let go of Western thoughts. I personally found nudibranchs, scorpion fish, and a frog fish (fist bump!) and saw mandarin fish on dusk dive. For the bird addicts, we saw wild sulfur crested cockatoos on the resort island. I will budget to get here again asap with my kids. Dive master took great care of us... (Hugs to Kiikii, despite my great faith that he was Benny). Wait staff was always ready with an eager selamat pagi for early breakfast. Getting here is difficult, but As noted above, I would come back in a heartbeat. Shout out to Mark, Sue and Calvin. I cried when I left... "

Tugu Bali: "Bali at its best"

Review by: J P | Source: Trip Advisor
"You are surrounded by fabulous art and exquisite architecture and that Balinese attention to every detail... Tugu is pricey but is a worthwhile splurge. The vibe is very colonial era, and the charm is for REAL (but, the wifi works fine too). When we needed proper Balinese formal attire to attend a religious ceremony (Melasti) on the beach, the staff lovingly suited us up in style... Tugu rocks it: Service ✔ Spa✔ Restaurant ✔ Beach ✔ Performances✔ The most beautiful room and bath tub ever✔ This is the real thing folks, this is what you come to Bali for. "

Tugu Bali: "Authentic Bali"

Review by: astridfashion | Source: Trip Advisor
"This hidden juwel is decorated with the most beautiful antiques from Ancient Indonesia, lots of lush greens and an extremely helpfull staff, and the best in room dining experience - really amazing - order the nasi campur, and you will be happy. I stayed in a small villa with a private pool and was happy."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Fantastic break from the outside world!"

Review by: Rohonesh K | Source: Trip Advisor
During our trip of Cambodia (Jan'18), we spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We drove from Sihanoukville International Airport and were able to reach their reception point in little under 3 hours. The 25 min ride from the reception point to the actual lodge builds up the anticipation in a good way as some of the scenery is just jaw-dropping. Quant little tents with all the required amenities, extremely comfortable and a private deck for yourself, which you can use for enjoying the sun or jumping into the Tatai River wherever you want. With little or no phone connectivity (only Metfone has any sort of connectivity here), you can switch off from the outside world and just spend time with nature. They also take you in a boat to enjoy the sights of fireflies in the evening and it looks magical. You can enjoy the sunset as well (an hour's ride in a boat down the Tatai river) or other trips that they can arrange for you on demand. They maintain a decent DVD collection which you can use (they don't have satellite TV and this is a good change). Paulo (manager) and Narayan were super hospitable and ensured that every little request is taken care of and that you are well looked after. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Cambodia.

Satri House: "Great secluded property"

Review by: yuriNYC | Source: Trip Advisor
A wonderful relaxing spot in a beautiful lazy town. Great for an escape from the world especially for a long holiday weekend or even longer if you really plan to explore the region. The staff is amazingly attentive without being pushy.

CABOCHON: "The Friendliest place in BKK"

Review by: Malin E | Source: tripadvison.com
"I do not have enough words for how much I liked this hotel. I was traveling alone with a 10 month old baby (something that can be a bit hard from time to time as you have noone to share the work with). At Cabochon we had a great shelter to return to from the busy streets. Even though I love the whole style of this hotel I still think that the team is what makes it really really special. They are genuine friendly and independent and cared so much for us. Everyone is child friendly. I was able to arrange babysitting with them to go to a spa one evening. On top of this they have a great restaurant attached to the hotel which I can highly recommend. Since everyone wanted to play with my son I was also able to enjoy a peaceful dinner on my own which was quite nice. Breakfast is a treat and you can choose from a selection of breakfast types. We enjoyed an asian breakfast and it was my favourite on this journey. Apart from this the hotel is just beautiful and has a calm and cool colonial flair in the middle of the hot and dirty city. We enjoyed our stay at Cabochon so much that I can not praise this hotel enough! "

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Excellent service"

Review by: andycoldham | Source: Trip Advisor
"After eating out all week at $10 for two joints along the Taphul Road we decided to splash out on our last night and booked a table at this restaurant. They specialise in tasting menus and offer 6 courses for $31 pp and 5 courses for $27. Wines start at $22 and rise to $100. Two different tasting menus are on offer each night so we opted for one of each so we could taste each others food. The service is immaculate and each course is described in detail before its presented. The portions are not huge but that is to be expected with a tasting menu such as this. The location is not walkable from the town centre so a tut tut is required but it is only $2 each way. As I said its an expensive place by Cambodian standards and not a restaurant you would come to on a daily basis, but its great for a treat. the service is fantastic, the food is out of this world and the premises are awesome.I recommend a visit here at least once , but do book a table as they get full very quickly."

Satri House: "A hidden gem"

Review by: brenda l | Source: Trip Advisor
"A beautiful hotel on the outskirts of town. Lovely gardens and buildings full of artefacts. A bit of a maze but great to explore all the nooks and crannies. Large bedroom and bathroom and comfy beds. Breakfast wasn’t buffet but good choice and nicely presented. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend."
