Chakrabongse Villas: "A real oasis – beautiful and worth every cent :)"

"Chakrabongse Villas is a really luxurious boutique hotel. We were guests here for 3 nights in April, and we wanted for nothing. We were offered a welcome cocktail when we arrived late in the evening, and our villa was traditional Thai style, and it was well appointed, clean and cool. We had a lovely private balcony overlooking the garden, with fresh flowers, pool towels, daybeds and shade aplenty. Having large villas, lovely gardens and only a handful of villas, we hardly ever saw another guest! We enjoyed the pool and the activity on the river, which we were on the banks of. Grounds are very private, with locked gates. Staff are unobtrusive but efficient, and the clamour, heat and bustle of Bangkok stops at the gates, and you enter a true oasis of calm and luxury. The riverside restaurant is also lovely and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast there each morning, with exquisite service, lovely food, and tourism advice as required. We took their longtail boat tour through the canals one afternoon, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was reasonably priced, too. One night we ate at the restaurant for dinner, and really, we were treated like royalty. A treat for the soul, and lovely, simple set menu, deliciously prepared. It was my husband's birthday one day, and they gave him a lovely gift. Add all of this together, and you have an exemplary service provider. Expensive but as i say, well worth it. Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Small family run hotel"

Lovely stop on our travel through Cambodia. Food was excellent and rooms lovely. The pool area was being tidied when we were there so hopefully this is complete now. Loved the deep fried flowers we received with our drinks.

Satri House: "Lovely place to stay"

Great location, 10 minute walk or 3 min tuk tuk to town and night market. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent pool side, dining and room service. Lovely room, four post bed, timber finish, spacious ensuite. Definitely a return visit. Thank you to all the staff. You helped make our trip to LP even more enjoyable.

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Amazing Brunch"

The Brunch was amazing! Great setting, delicious food and perfect service! It was our second time here on a Sunday. We met locals who come often, and we have learned why. The owner Khun Poy and his team were awesome!

Labyrinth: "Blown away experience"

It was a very pleasant dinner experience we had! We were looking forward to the next dish being served and each dish just keeps getting better. Recommend this place for anniversary, or a romantic dinner.

Villa Song Saigon: "Great Food & river view"

Beautiful hotel at the river with super friendly staff, owners and good food. One of my favourite places to escape the hectic city center. The river side is amazing at just 15/20 min from downtown it feels like being on a mini holiday just by having a good meal or coffee. A great quality escape :)

Maison Polanka: "Good people Safe Environment"

I stayed here beacuse of the location and the photos. The place looks very clean and nature is right next to your doorstep! The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Their tour guides speaks very good English.

Rachamankha: "New year"

"New Year count down was memorable ..The fabulous new year count down party are the best ,we never enjoyed and have much fun with all the east meet west as the hotel provide..We love everything the food and non stop Champagne... Will going back soon! "

Anopura: "A lovely escape"

My mother and I had one of the nicest stays of our trip to India here. The food is excellent. The staff are lovely and the location is peaceful.It was a nice break from the frenetic cities of Rajasthan. The accommodation is excellent. The decor is very tasteful. We regretted not being able to stay a second night. The staff are very well trained. They are helpful without being intrusive.

Tandjung Sari: "This place really is a 5 star hotel…"

We stayed here 1 night before flying back to Europe. Everything about Tandjung Sari is just excellent. The staff are professional and helpfull, they will go the extra mile for you with a smile. The place is perfectly well kept, the bugalows ooze luxe, comfort and classic Balinese style. Food was great, excellent by-the-glass wine choice and do try the banana fritters with icecream. Smooth jazz in the late afternoon to watch the sunset in style. We'll be back for more!
