MesaStila: "Amazing"
"Thank you MesaStila for a fantastic weekend at your resort. I was very impressed by the kindness of your staff. They new exactly who we were when we came. So helpful and smiling all of them. The resort is very pretty and kept in old traditional style all around. And So peaceful and quiet. The rooms are big and cosy. The garden is very nice and nice coffee plantation tour. Spa is also really good. Wow! I definitely come back! "Misool: "Paradise found!"
"There really aren’t adequate words to describe our experience at MER. I have been fortunate to visit many gorgeous beach destinations worldwide but nothing can come close to Misool Eco Resort. Not only is it visually stunning but the entire experience is unsurpassed. The staff is warm, kind and attentive...nothing is too much trouble. The diving is the best in the world of course and what the founders and staff have created is an inspiration. Special thanks to Sue and Mark for creating such a wonderful experience for us and to Sabine my ‘scuba therapist’ and new friend. Being a nervous diver despite experience she went above and beyond to teach me, support me and help me grow tremendously in my diving skills. Our ‘once in a lifetime’ will definitely be repeated....we just left and miss it already. Lisa and John Mitchell"Heritage Suites: "Undoubtedly one of the best hotels in the country"
"What a wonderful experience. Starting from the moment I arrived, till I left I was made to feel like I was royalty or even better. Being welcomed with a cold towel and a lovely drink was the perfect welcome after a long drive. Upon arrival the reception explained that there was going to be a party in the lobby that evening and therefore some noise transfer, hence they had upgraded me to a bungalow. And what an upgrade. This bungalow was absolutely magnificent, possessing it's own sauna and small garden. The room was comfortable and super spacious and could well have served as someone's home. The swimming pool was delightful, a comfortable temperature and the whole area was peaceful and somewhat of an oasis after a day of temple hopping. Breakfasts were of the highest calibre, with the most wonderful selection of pastries as standard, followed by orders from the menu. There was something for everyone and absolutely no way someone could go hungry. Everyday, upon returning from sightseeing, I was greeted by name and given a cold towel. It was these nice touches that stand out compared to many other luxury hotels. When I came to check out, I asked if I could use a shower on returning from my sightseeing and before my flight to London. Instead of just offering me a shower in the spa, I was offered the use of the room free of charge until 6pm that evening. I appreciate that the hotel was not too busy, but even so they did not have to do that, and it was very much appreciated. Their efforts to make me welcome will live long in the memory. Whilst I only stayed for two nights I had a fantastic time at the hotel, all capped off by the wonderful service. I could have stayed much longer."Tugu Malang: "Best hotel in Malang"
"Everytime i go to Malang, East Java, Indonesia, I always stay at this hotel. This hotel has a really different atmosphere with so much acculturation of javanese, dutch colonialism as well as chinese. All of the decorations were pretty, and photo spot-worthy. Facility is also very nice. Food and service are also excellent. Don't forget to attend the tea time service in the second floor every afternoon. Such a wonderful experience with all the traditional teas, mini cakes and sweets."Cuca: "Fun and creative food"
"Our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) came for dinner. We were a bit surprised that they had a kids menu. The kids really enjoyed their meals, although the portions were pretty tiny for 10-12 yr olds. We had some really fun cocktails including a tropical sangria and lime mojito. They started us with a taste of cotton candy coated with spices. We ordered a bunch of tapas to share including -mushroom fritters which were really good, I would get this again. -baked scallop w/mashed cauliflower: tasty and creamy cauliflower went really well with the scallop, I'd get this again. -roasted pork bun with pickled cabbage; good but definitely but definitely not the best (Momofuku) -smoked butterfish w beetroot cream- nice smokey flavor, solid dish -honey baked pumpkin salad w crunchy granola, a signature dish which was surprisingly good. I enjoyed the crunchy granola w the pumpkin -crispy fried chicken, pretty good and tasty but nothing that special -bbq octopus was ok -marinated pulled pork w soft boiled egg was ok, flavors were ok but not spectacular, wouldn't get this again. -clay pot mushroom rice was good with lots of mushrooms, portion was a bit small. -dessert cocoa99 was really yummy, warm chocolate w mint ice cream and cocoa croutons- I love mint & chocolate so this was great for me. -caramel apple w black pepper ice cream- ice cream was very interesting. Overall we had a really fun meal. Service was great, they were really friendly and nice. It was great to come in a big group to get to try a lot of different dishes. I would recommend Cuca for a nice meal out in Jimbaran."Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Beautiful Boutique hotel in perfect location"
This is a wonderful "boutique" hotel. There are only seven suites and they are essentially one bedroom apartments with excellent views of the town and river. The service was first rate and the breakfast was wonderful. Served on their rooftop restaurant, it was delicious and allowed you to watch the little city wake up. The restaurant on the ground floor has both indoor and outdoor service and the food is very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it to any travelers.Locavore: "The food were bold, well executed, well thought of,"
"Initially I was just curious about this restaurant in Ubud that people and media were talking about, and decided to give it a try. I went there for lunch and tried their 7 dishes (which turned out to be almost 14 dishes in total!). The food were bold, well executed, well thought of, and full of passion and love. It is as if they are not being humble at all, they are making a statement, what coming out from the kitchen is not just usual dishes we eat every day, it is extraordinary. I saw all chefs are busy in the kitchen, and they are quite mobile as they make time to go to our table and explain about each and every dish. I believe this is something we don’t see often in similar restaurant in Bali, maybe in Singapore or Hong Kong, but Bali? I dont think so. Service team looks impeccable, they dress up casual yet very neat and they are very professional too. When it comes to the price, a restaurant this caliber could have charged arms and legs, but this one surprisingly worth the whole experience (it was 850k++/pax ) Having had a great, memorable and satisfying lunch in Locavore, Ubud, it has set for me a high standard of a posh lunch should be, and by far the best lunch I ever had in such a long time. So, if you plan to try them, make a booking at least 3 weeks in advance, if you are lucky."Rachamankha: "Secret Retreats"
We are so glad choosed Rachamankha for our stay in Chiang Mai, such a elegant and heritage hotel. When arrived hotel, at first sight we thought we are passing by a temple, but its the hotel!! Just from the entrance we have been wowed. Architecturally is fusion of Thai and Chinese. Along the way we can see the landscape such as pine tree obviously growth in a chinese aesthetics way and the architectural pattern similar like Chinese quadrangle courtyard(四合院), but just a turn to another way, we can clearly recognize stong feature of northern thai style, and both are combined harmoniously. Many pantings and art collection you can find anywhere in the hotel, further more above the restautant there is a gallery of the owner. Room was smaller than what I expect, but nicely decorated with chinaware, very classic wardrobe, made me feel pass through to acient, just can't stop take photo of it. Superior room only provide standing shower and its fixed shower head which I feel a bit out dated, amenities is excllent, my partner love the smell made from thai herbs. I will definetly return to Rachamankha when next visit to Chiang Mai, and recommend to my family and friends.Satri House: "Wonderful hotel"
This is wonderful hotel. We very enjoyed our 3 nights stay here. The scenery around the hotel is like in paradise with lovely garden and a swimming pool. The room is huge with traditional decoration and well equipped. Staff is amazing friendly and helpful4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "It is really amazing eco resort along Tatai River in Koh Kong"
I spent 2 nights there with my friend. It is really a relax and peaceful place with the amazing view of jungle and Tatai River. The staffs are excellent, they are very friendly and helpful. The food is also tasty. In concluded, we really enjoyed this trip. It is really a unique resort in Koh Kong. I hope I will back to stay there again soon.
