SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Wow"
We were seated at the chef's table got to watch The Kitchen Magic. One of my favorite all-time meals treated to a 10 course dining experience, the service was great and the dining with Windows overlooking the gardens you're breathtaking. The prices were great for the meal we received I would highly recommend and hope to return some dayRachamankha: "Romantic oasis of tranquility and superb service"
"This was our second visit to Rachamankha. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had no hesitation in selecting Chiang Mai and this hotel. It is ideally located within the old walled city, about 100 metres from Wat Pra Singh. The hotel is designed to resemble an old Chinese warlord's house. The meticulous attention to detail is beautiful as demonstrated by the wonderful old furniture in the rooms through to the old world atmosphere of the library.Whilst maintaining a wonderful old world sense each room is well equipped with all the mod cons including docking station, large television and strong WiFi signal. The beds are enormous and very comfortable and the bathrooms are huge. The restaurant is situated around a courtyard with the option of dining al fresco or inside in the air conditioning. The service is delightful without being pushy. The linen table cloths and silver cutlery add to the wonderful ambience. The food is a highlight. Be warned - the breakfasts are enormous but amazingly good value. Having dinner there is a beautiful experience and the food is delightful. Chiang Mai can be non-stop and it is a truly relaxing experience to walk into the grounds of the hotel and enjoy the serenity which is only broken by the squeakings and twitterings of the resident squirrel population."Tugu Malang: "Luxury and services are beyond expectation"
"I was there only for a day and wish to come back soon. The room was impecable, perfect with a touch of personal welcome in a card. Our room facing the front hotel but not noisy at all. The bedsheet was super clean and it was a standard five hotel services and facility. The amenities was not much but enough. Small pool but convenient enough for children. Good selection of breakfast with some a la carte menu. The hospitality is unbelievably super friendly. A typical warm small size five star hotel that you would never experience in a big busy hotel. This hotel was beautiful in a an outdated way, and you may find it quite spooky at the back part, but for some, it may be the point of attraction. "Tugu Lombok: "Heaven on earth"
"We spent a week of our honeymoon at Tugu Lombok and it was simply fantastic. The food is sensational, such a wide range of dishes to choose from. The satay sticks are out of this world! The staff are friendly, from the waiters to the gardeners, and very good with your individual needs and likes. The moonlight spa treatment and meal is a absolute must. highlight of our fantastic stay. The hotel has kayaks and snorkeling equipment which allow a bit of exploring of the local sealife. We stayed in an Aloon-Aloon villa and it was spacious, comfy and the outside bathrooms were perfectly quirky. I cant speak highly of Tugu Lombok, it was 5 star every bit of the way,"The Island Lodge: "A dream spot in the Mekong Delta"
"Are you looking for a 6 star hotel in the Mekong Delta? You just found it! Nothing needs improvement. From the first minute we arrived a the hotel till the very last moment all was a dream of a hotel. Service excellent, rooms amassing, restaurant outstanding.... Nothing else to say. A must see and enjoy hotel!!!!"Dewakan: "This is the best, most innovative restaurant in Malaysia"
If there should be a Michelin Star Restaurant in Malaysia. it will be Dewakan. Kudos to the team for a great effort and wonderful food.Tugu Bali: "Best man at a wedding"
"Fantastic hotel, very well run and beautiful. Grounds were so well kept. Would highly recommend for both a short and longer stay. The food was very good. Beach goes on for miles. Hotel taxi transfers to other bars/restaurants and beaches for free. "Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Wonderful hotel"
A very beautiful historic boutique hotel. Very cosy with the most helpful staff. Museumpart is very nice.Slow Villas and Spa: "Luxurious Retreat"
"We stayed three nights in the 2 bedroom/2 bath villa at Slow and had an amazing time! The accommodations are wonderful and very private - comfortable beds and very clean. The outdoor bathroom allows you to take a shower under the stars! There was so much attention to detail, including beach hats and bags, head lamps, and a cell phone left in the rooms for our use. Bottled drinking water is provided and is refilled as needed at no additional cost. There was a free pilates class offered every other day and our stay included a 30 minute massage for each person. Bikes are available for rent at a reasonable cost. It is also possible to order food to be delivered to your villa or have a chef come to your villa to cook for you. Julie, one of the owners, is super accommodating and helpful. She helped us to plan our next destination in Lombok and very graciously made sure that all of the plans were secured before we left. The location of the property is on a dirt road (like all of the ""roads"" on the island) about a 5 minute walk to the beach. If you go out for dinner, you will probably need to walk about 15-20 minutes to reach a restaurant. Take flashlight and mosquito spray with you, as there are no street lamps, but it still felt very safe. The villa area is locked up at night and there is someone on duty to provide security. Breakfast was included in the stay and delivered to the villa each morning. There were about 6 different breakfast options to choose from. The food was delicious and such huge quantities! What a treat! If you want to be pampered and relax, this is the place for you! Thank you, Julie and all other staff at Slow Villas for an amazing time on Gili Air!"Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Awesome fine dining in Bangkok"
"I managed to get a reservation here during a recent business trip to Bangkok. The restaurant was also incredibly accommodating to my schedule as I wasn't sure when I was going to land and get through the airport so I booked it for late, but they were willing to let me arrive earlier than my reservation. The restaurant is small and intimate though the tables were quite spread out so one could still have some privacy during dinner. Most of the patrons though were foreigners though one thai couple did come in during the night. The chef could be seen working closely with his team in the back and more often than not, would also come out to the serving area where another crew of 3-4 chefs would finalize the various dishes. Lots of people would ask to take pictures with the young chef (next time I will as well). I had their four course menu as I wasn't feeling super hungry and I was happy. I wouldn't have been able to eat the full chef tasting menu (six courses which a near by table ordered). I ordered a white and then a red glass of wine and again it was perfect for me. In the end, I was completely stuffed and very impressed with the quality of the food. It was a mix of thai mixed with western style preparation that just blew me away. I would come back here next time I am in Bangkok. One interesting note, I originally thought my server was from the US as she had what appeared to be a strong American accent, but it turned out that she had studied at a local international school which I guess were taught by American professors."
