Mie Cafe: "A wooden House restaurant"
We had dinner here and we ordered the Amok fish, fried vegetable beef, fried rice with Angkor Beer. This was a nice dinner. The staff here were friendly and the service was quickly. Highly recommend.MesaStila: "A perfect sanctuary in the hills"
"This place is honestly as good as you can hope to find for a holiday. Absolutely everything about it was perfect. It's difficult to know where to start in describing it but the big things were: - The estate is all exquisite, colonial style - built and collected by one (Italian) lady over 20 or so years. Her passion shows through in every price of furniture and every building. Fortunately it is still beautifully maintained even today - The service is far from old school though. The staff knew us perfectly and were fantastically well coordinated everywhere we went. If we were having lunch, they would confirm our spa plans for the afternoon, for example. Very slick. - The rooms were fantastic. Spacious, well equipped and with the most incredible views of the mountains and jungle below us. - There were activities all through the day: horse riding, coffee plantation tours, spa treatments. All entirely optional but very insightful and inspiring. There were also lots of outdoor games like croquet etc for us to play. - The afternoon tea was a perfect touch end of the day - sitting out on the Verandah... - The food was excellent. Always really tasty and a great blend of western and Javanese - The spa and hammam were incredible. The Hammam was such a treat - a full Turkish bath that was luxuriously decked out. The staff were also probably the best masseuses that we've ever seen - We did a few excursions / walks through local plantations or up one of the nearby peaks. They were a must do for me - so perfect. This place is basically like ""out of africa"" in java - just perfect. Stayed February 2017, traveled with family"LES MAISONS D’ITAC: "A small but fantastic resort"
"We spent a long weekend in the bamboo house at this small but beautiful resort. Great experience. You are sleeping 3 meters from the beach! You hear the waves and all kinds of sounds in the night, very relaxing. The atmosphere at the place is great. It is sort of at the end of the road, so there is no restaurants or things to do within walking distance. But the staff and the manager Bryan are very serviceminded and will help you with anything you want to do or go to. We recommend you to eat all meals at the resort and then there's no need to go anywhere else. Just stay at the resort and enjoy it. We would love to come back some day! "The Island Lodge: "3 days in Island Lodge in Nov 2016"
"Hotel is really nice, wifi, excellent and great hospitality. This place is very peaceful and people are customer service minded With Michel, we discovered by bike the island during 3 hours and visited villages around. It was really great. I recommend this hotel Evelyne D, Grenoble France"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A Haven"
"This is a wonderful hotel in a fabulous location and is an amazing place to spend a few special days away from the hustle and bustle of the streets of India. The rooms are first class as is the service and attention to detail throughout the hermitage.. The food in the restaurant is recommended and cooked to perfection. Stay here; it's expensive compared to many other Indian hotels but I'll think you'll find it's money well spent."leopard safaries: "The Best Camp you would die for"
Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safaris has exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The camping facility is modern and outstanding. The food, wine, and service are absolutely world class. Just imaging you dining under twinkling stars by the table lit with candle lights surrounded with invisible wild creatures and accompanied by old and new friends! Noel and staff at the camp are very knowledgeable and experienced with Safaris. We never disappointed with each trip we took, leopards, elephants, sloth bear, etc we saw them all. We not only saw animals in the wild, we've also learned a lots about the animals and birds, which make us really appreciate the nature. We highly recommend Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safaris. It's the best value you would receive and an experience you will remember for your life time.Satri House: "Beauty, serenity, luxury"
We spent 4 days at this stunning boutique hotel, which manages to balance stunning luxury and tranquil relaxation. We were a large group- 3 families with children of all ages in tow, and the staff and manager made each of us feel welcomed and looked after. The lush gardens, beautiful pools, cinema room, heritage buildings with wonderful antique filled rooms, spas and excellent restaurant ensured that each person in the group was happily occupied. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks for a memorable holiday, Satri House team4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Was beyond anything I couldve hoped for"
Of the many places I have stayed I have never come across such helpful, friendly staff who are always smiling. The owner has picked some great people to work here. The accomodation is amazing. The location is beyond amazing. While we stayed it was my partners 30th birthday and the team arranged a fantastic private dinner. They even baked a cake! They went above and beyond. The food is great, the cocktails are delicious and the excursions are awesome if you can bring yourself to leave the lodge. I cannot recommend this place enough, go!Inle Princess Resort: "My kind of paradise"
This resort is everything and more of what you could possibly expect for a great holiday. Contrary to most other lake resort on Inle, it is very quiet and feels very private. Rooms were amazing and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great Spa in a nice setting is a plus as well.Labyrinth: "Inventive Menu by Chef / Owner L G Han"
"If you are looking for a dining experience to really remember then the one Michelin Star, Labyrinth Restaurant is for you. We enjoyed the ten (10) course, very inventive, degustation menu with matching wines. This was not a 'cheap meal out' alternative but what an experience. The sensational flavours Chef Han has 'developed / created' and presents beautifully onto your plate are to die for and create much discussion if you are lucky enough to be sharing this experience (and I mean a 'real experience') with someone. Each course is described by the excellent staff, who are attentive, but not overly so, which is good for a dining experience. We were lucky enough to get to talk to Chef / Owner Han (apparently an Investment Banker ?? in a previous life), who is a very dedicated and focused Chef and ever so willing to talk about his passion for food, presentation, attention to detail and how and why he set out to create the 'truly innovative' fair he offers at Labyrinth. If you're in Singapore, love food and wine and like to challenge your taste buds with something very different, then Labyrinth will certainly meet your every expectation."
