Mathis Retreat: "No words can explain this place"
"After two nights we've decided to extend our stay! It's a romantic place This place us right in the middle of the rice fields, impressive nature the only noise you get here is from the nature, green all around. We had a really good massage surrounded by nature The service is great and polite, their Terracotta Restaurant is one of the best of this area, we had an amazing dinner here. The management is very helpful, they gave us lot of advices."Manda De Laos: "Great restaurant and wonderful setting"
"We were recommended to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Food was fabulous , duck was wonderful as was the Luang Prabang salad. All of this is topped by the wonderful setting - get there early to catch daylight view before sun sets but then candle light makes it magical . Also noted gluten free selection on menu ."The Apsara Rive Droite: "Dejligt hotel med super service"
Amata Lanna: "Great boutique hotel"
Awesome hotel with a really amazing staff that makes you feel welcome from the time you walk in. Rooms were very cozy and we enjoyed the nice firm bed! Close to the night bazar and city center. The staff also helped with taxi's and suggested a great spa that offered free transport! Overall a great time at the Amata LannaNoel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Just Fantastic"
"My mum and I stayed here in the luxury tent and it was fantastic. I poked my nose in the more Safari style tent and it was too basic for me but other people seemed to enjoy the adventure. The luxury lodge was air conditioned, spacious, comfortable, ensuite, hot water etc... the lounge for pre and post dinner drinks was welcoming and friendly, the food was AMAZING and the chef will do a cooking demo if you ask. We saw six leopards over four drives, just delighted. We used the back gate of block one and also block five. Such a pleasant experience, not crowded and very successful. When we checked out they asked for feedback, I said a pool would be good - half joking! It's coming! But it's fantastic without anyway. Go go go! Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"The Hue House: "So glad i found here"
"This place is a must . Quality food at exceptional prices . Servive top notch . Im cautious when trying viet food even though its spectacular and unique with so much goodness some places tend to use too much oil as i have encountered on a few occasions with mi quang and bo kho when you see the ""yellowish"" oil sticking to the side or floating on the top of the broth but the vietnamese like it this way. The food here is unique to the central of vietnam and omg absolutely minimal use of oil in the broth and dishes and incredibly cooked to perfection. Not only that but so tasty with lots of goodness . The price of the food for the quality made it that more special . This will be my go to place for traditional healthy ""Hue"" food! Be sure to check this place out and make sure you have a big appetite before going as there are so many different unique wonderful healthy dishes"Amata Lanna: "Best place to stay in Chiang Mai"
We loved this hotel!!! We booked it because it looked "Thai" in it's decoration etc. It did not disappoint! It is on a quieter street, but still so close to the night market and good restaurants. The pool is smaller, but located inside the hotel's peaceful courtyard. The staff were so kind and attentive. Honestly, this is such a great hotel. I would book immediately if you can. It is smaller, so I'm guessing as word gets out how wonderful it is, that it will sell out fast. Take my advice and stay here when you are in Chiang Mai!!Tugu Bali: "Truly immersive Balinese gem"
Tugu is surely among the most incredible, moody hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel and rooms are designed with a unique blend ethnic & traditional luxury from another era. We stayed at the Rajang suite with a sea view. The Room featured an enormous elevated bed that made us feel like part of the local royalty. We absolutely loved the food and taking our breakfasts in the covered daybed in the garden facing the waves and surfers going on their favorite activity. Perfect place for a romantic holiday. We will definitely go back.David’s Kitchen: "Sublime"
I assumed any restaurant in Thailand called David's would be french considering. I was a bit surprised when I met David as he met us at the door. I won't let my expectations ruin yours. He was so delightful on so many levels. But that was was just the meet and greet. The waiting staff were absolutely fantastic. Their english was wonderfu and the service was very very pleasantl. But the food. The food was fantastic.I would have to rate this as one of the best meals of my life. From the moment it starts to the end, everything is just little bits of perfection. I would dearly dearly love to live just down the road.MesaStila: "Relaxing Stay"
"MesaStila is a wonderful place to relax. You basically come here to stay and enjoy all the activities and facilities. We loved the pool, the coffee plantation, biking around, having afternoon tea (included), our morning jog and yoga classes. They provided other classes and activities which we did not have a chance to participate in (batik, Javanese dance, TRX, village tour, etc.) Honestly I enjoyed this stay, the rooms were great. We loved our room with the massive turquoise bathtub! The food is pretty good, the coffee is pretty good and the service is excellent. The staff was super polite. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"
