Villa Song Saigon: "Excellent stay and wonderful experience"
"Recently enjoyed a three night stay at the Villa Song on my first vist to Vietnam. The hotel and stay thorougly exceeded my expecatations. The location was ideal, a short boat ride or cab (use Uber if you have it) ride from the center of Ho Chi Minh city which provided ideal - getting away from the intensity of the city center was fantastic. The setting of the hotel is absolutley picturesque. Very beautiful area on the river, great area for relaxing, having a meal, having a drink, just fantastic. Very peaceful and enjoyable. Pool area is also very good - they offer service at the pool so no need to go anywhere for refreshments or food. Plenty of chairs and shade. You MUST visit the spa during your stay! I enjoyed several treatments that were simply world class and delivered by the warmest and most friendly staff (sorry that I forgot her name!). Don't miss the spa during your stay! All of the staff were friendly, warm and accommodating. Service was spot on. Hotel was immaculately clean. Room was fantastic - clean, cool, well equppied, great bed, great linens, very quiet and great sleep. You cannot go wrong staying at the Villa Song Saigon - should I return to Vietnam I would say here without hesitation. "Babe: "Fun dining!"

We travelled here a family of seven and were treated with warmth and like royalty. Would highly recommend get off the beaten track in luxury! We went to the local town, Lalsot to see the market and purchase bangles, enjoyed the evening cooking school/demo and the camel cart ride in the local village. Bring individuality wrapped sweets (e.g. Starbursts) for local kids. Lots of history here.tugu lombok: "Brilliant stay, amazing place"
"We stayed at Hotel Tugu for 4 nights and we both came away saying it was easily the best hotel we had ever stayed in! Every whim is catered for, anything you could imagine they make possible, and always with a smile. The food is outstanding, and the location of the hotel is fantastic with a stunning white sand beach and views of the mountains. An incredible place to stay, you won't be disappointed if you book this hotel! Can't wait to return"The Island Lodge: "A gem on the Mekong river"
"A peaceful place located on a small island on the Mekong river. Perfect gate away from Ho Chi Min. Nice view on the river. Great staff and team. Awesome a la carte breakfast much better than any buffet. Possible to take boat to visit the other islands and not far away from Cai Be floating market. Very authentic and warm welcome. Do not hesitate...run for it."Locavore: "One of the best meals we have ever had"
Exquisite 7 course (+ more!) meal, where our nosy eyes got to spy on all the kitchens goings-on. A must visit for anyone looking for a completely unique and flawless dining experience. I won’t divulge too much, just go.Tugu Lombok: "Best friend wedding"

And of course thank you Chef your food was just perfect. "Summertime Villa: "It’s always Summer Time, at Summertime"
"One needs to close one's eyes and transport oneself to one's summer vacations when at school, to relive the best moments in years gone by -- moments of unbridled joy and anticipation of the unknown, those of wanton freedom and excitement, a day in the pool, a trek within woods unexplored, to eat to one's heart's (and stomach's) content, moments of quiet tranquil and calm, and then the comfort of a bed and a pillow one can sink into, after a day of frolic. And it's all this and much more at Summertime Villa, Goa, where I had one of my more memorable breaks in recent memory. Summertime played host to me (and my group) earlier this August. While we make it a point to stay at a new villa each time on our yearly sojourns to Goa, something tells me Summertime will become a regular in the calendar of our activities. A beautiful oasis, tastefully done up and well adorned, Summertime boasts of 3 humungous bedrooms (one has a Koi pond right outside too) and bathrooms, a splendid drawing room, and two dining rooms (one on the outer deck, while the other inside the house). A swimming pool to boot, Summertime nestled away in the heart of nature, and away from all humanity that could bother you. With a cook (Dinesh) and caretaker (Prakash) at beck and call, and a retinue of helpers there on, one truly does seem like the master of all that he/she behold. For a bibliophile, Hans and Sucheta (who hosted us at Summertime), have books aplenty, that one could easily find a corner to snuggle into a lose oneself to the others around too. Be it a book that engrosses you, or the beautiful rains over the trees at the villa or even engaging with a small crawly thing that may have ventured out of the woods, into your space, Summertime was certainly a break away from the mundane. Located on the outskirts of Calangute, the villa is a shout away from a number of good eateries and watering holes, in and around the area. Getting to and from the place is a challenge, but the ever helpful Nora (the manager at Summertime) aided us with the number of a cab company that was a call away too. My group and I were truly pampered at Summertime, and it's in no small regard that this trip evoked as many memories of my yesteryears too. I shall certainly be coming back for more if Hans & Sucheta will have us back. Until then, I can only wish the crew at Summertime the best in creating more summer memories for more weary travellers."Manda De Laos: "Stunning and delicious!"

I had an amazing time in the heritage site with superb commentary by the female owner sharing her real-life stories in conserving the place. It was engaging and insightful sharing. Thanks, I had a good and better understanding of the culture now. Give it a try, folks.
