Akame: "Must try Taiwanese aboriginal cuisine"
"Amazing dinner at Akame! A modern Taiwanese aboriginal cuisine restaurant in Pingtung, the two chefs Alex and Sky are both Rukai people, creating new styles of aboriginal grilled cuisine. Grilled quail with black garlic sauce and grilled Taiwanese pork are my most favorite. If they have mullet wine, it's perfect match with grilled meat."Slow Villas and Spa: "Wonderful time"
We stayed more than one week at this amazing place and enjoyed every moment. The privilege to jump inside the pool from bedroom door is just fantastic. It was an unforgettable stay for us and if I could I would come back one day!Flower Island: "Absolutely Amazing"
"My husband and I came to flower island as part of our honeymoon. This is an absolute MUST! It is honestly a once in a life time experience. I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot, especially through Asia, including Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand and the Phillippines. I have also stayed in places like Bora Bora. flower island still amazed me and took my breath away. You are on your own secluded island with only a hand full of guests. You stay in a tree house like accommodation- my husband and I felt like Tarzan andJane! You are surrounded by beauty and it is the most relaxing experience. The staff on the island are so friendly. It is very relaxed, and some people may like that 5 star 'being doted on hand and foot' style of service, but this place is so easy going and care free. The service is genuine and kind. Please remember, they lead an island life style, and it is relaxed. There is a bar and a beautiful, earthy restaurant where all your meals are catered for. Nice home cooked meals. I would recommend you get to the dining area as soon as the meal time begins to avoid the food cooling, as it's a buffet style. Also, as my husband and I swam and kayaked all day, we were a little hungry between meals, so we would recommend you bring some of your own snacks. Also, as it's a place that respects and is in touch with nature, expect some small visitors (like bugs etc) to your room, so maybe bring bug spray to deter mosquitos, and I would recommend a torch. I would also recommend a room with air conditioning as it can get a little steamy. We had this style room and it was comfortable. I would also highly recommend the pearl farm tour. Whilst the tour was interesting, the place where they take you to snorkel is amazing and essentially untouched as the area is highly protected. Most of the coral we saw on previously in our el Nido island hopping tours was dead, but this snorkel spot is just breath taking. The best I have ever seen! On the island as well there is a light house, which you can stay in for no extra charge- a great experience for those who are a Little more adventurous! You can walk to the top of the light house and are presented with a 360 degree view! Amazing. Such a wonderful place that offers priceless views and the most relaxing time away. It is worth the slightly expensive transfers in (van and boat ride) but the speed boat ride itself is exciting- we felt like James Bond on our way in! Very classy and a great entrance! One of my favorites spots I have been to so far in all my travels. Such a beauty and one of a kind. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Sea Dance Resort: "Amazing Place with Truly Amazing Hospitality"
"Stayed at this property for 2 nights with wife & 2 year old kid. Striking feature about this resort: 1. Staff: be it reception, housekeeping or restaurant, they are simply the people who love their job truly. Always welcoming guest with a big smile & addressing the guest by their names. They love to engage with the guest on variety of topics . 2. View from the restaurant. It is picture perfect for a good start to your day. Property is small, but has its own charm & we truly enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are small (Relatively) but practical. Offer complete privacy to each of the room. Bathroom is open to air & you may have to share your space with some tiny guests... Snails :) Our room was provided with an infant bed as complimentary. Breakfast is tasty & if you have a specific preference, do let them know in advance so that they can accommodate your request. Beach is small & rocky. I wish the all Hotels that share this beach own up some responsibility and ensure cleanliness on beach. Special mention for Gopal for wonderful conversation during dinner."KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Perfect pool villa away from the rush"
"Khwan...What a place. Thanks to tripadvisor, i found this gem. Since there werent many reviews, i was a bit skeptical at first, but the moment i arrived, all my fears went away, as the place was amazing and the honeymoon trip ended on a perfect note. it is a duplex pool villa. There is a small living room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs is the bedroom and another bathroom with a balcony. Super clean, very chic decor with works of art adorning the walls. Due to a storm, the nearby beach(2 minute walk) was a mess. We hired a bike, and went to the fishermans village (recommended). The breakfast options are limited, and you need to inform in advance. It is served to you in the villa. The pool is perfect in size to relax. There are two deck chairs to laze about as well. Gail at the front desk was great. Very polite and will help you out with info for everything from shopping to bike hiring and tours etc. If you want to chill and relax and a pool is your thing, look no further. Khwan is the place to go. "David’s Kitchen: "Exceptional from start to finish."
"I can say without a doubt that Davids Kitchen has been the best dining experience of my life. I had not read the reviews, I only heard of DK from a friends email when Trip advisor nominated his restaurant in the top 10 of the world, therefore I was intrigued as I live in Chiang Mai. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled around the world and eaten in many fine dining restaurants and there has been nothing that comes close to the quality and professional service that we enjoyed at David's Kitchen. The ambience, staff and food was exceptional from booking online until we finished and left very impressed and satisfied. The food was really exquisite and I sadly did not have enough room for Sticky Toffy Pudding which I will avenge with my next visit. The Staff were so friendly and helpful in every way. Professional. David was not there, which I did not know the significance of until I received an email from him the following morning apologizing for his absence taking a well deserved holiday with his family. Incredible and well received. That personal care and attention to detail exemplifies the quality of his restaurant, food and staff even in his absence. DK is something I will be talking about for a very long time. I look forward to my next visit and meet the man who makes his restaurant what it is. An unforgettable and magic dining experience which I would like to say from us, Thanks so much and see you next time. Please do go. you will not regret it."Pindaya Farm House: "Lovely place"
My husband and I stayed two nights at this wonderful and cosy place at the country side in central Myanmar. The service and accomodation was excellent and the food very delicious and well prepared. We can highly recommend this lovely place if you are looking for peace and quietness in a nice setting and possibilities to do hiking and biking in the surrounding hilly landscape.Maison Polanka: "An authentic oasis"
"We had the Green Room which was large enough to accommodate a couple with an adult daughter. It also had a large porch over looking the pool in a beautiful walled garden. It was a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap but close enough to town for an easy visit. The room is authentic looking with beautiful art, comfortable beds and terrific large bathroom. The staff is amazing! They took such good care of us from arranging tours, restaurants, spa services (try the blind therapist shiatsu massage) and tuk tuks to town. Breakfast is included with terrific fruit and juices. I love the Cambodian fried rice with egg on top. We ate lunch and dinner there most nights as well. Made our way through the menu and loved everything we tried. 4 nights was the perfect amount of time to relax and to see the temples. Room Tip: There are only 6 rooms in the property. All are good."David’s Kitchen: "Feel the careness"
If you looking for special dinner and full services here you are!!! Their food so amazing. I had cod fish such a incredible delicious with red wine sauce just perfact !Reverie Siam Pai: "Best hotel in Pai – great design. Superb breakfast!"
"This is by far the best hotel in Pai. Beautifully designed with quirky touches. The restaurant is voted the best in Pai - but isn't actually very good. However, the breakfast is sublime and staff incredible. The main swimming pool is lovely and relaxing, the 'riverside bar' is a waste of time so just head straight out and explore the unique Pai - it's what you are here for afterall? We had room / bungalow 8 which was gorgeous but a little dark, I would have liked to see another, brighter room. That said, really comfy bed and the bathroom with Jacuzzi is fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel!"Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
