SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Stunning Culinary Address"

"Seeds delivered quite the fine dining experience, but at the same time, managed to maintain a cozy, home-y and hospitable atmosphere. The location is a winner. The outdoor decking is a perfect spot for a sunset aperitif, situated on the Inya Lake amongst a breathtaking garden of lotus flowers. The interior design and the table setups are simply elegant. A lot of the chinaware is custom-designed and you can really tell. The service was excellent. The entire team was really attentive, and even Lucia and Felix themselves came over to our table to make sure everything was well. We really appreciated the hospitality. And of course, last but not least, the food was exceptional. The amuse bouche of lobster bisque was delicious, so were the appetizers like the pumpkin soup with scallops, and our mains of pork fillet, lamb and beef. All of the dishes had extra little ingredients that, together, created an explosion of harmonized flavors on our palates. The truffle ravioli, apparently a Chef Felix special, was also a delightful surprise. All in all, compliments to Lucia and Felix, and the entire Seeds team."

Amata Lanna: "Relaxing and Extremely Friendly Staff"

"A very nice spot for any kind of trip to Chiang Mai. Very clean and the best staff you could find to always make sure you are happy. We always felt welcome and felt like we were family. The rooms are decorated very nicely and has a nice Thai style and the courtyard is a small oasis like setting that is very pleasant. Overall very impressed with the Amata Lana."

Manda De Laos: "excellent dinner"

Wonderful dinner with a beautiful backdrop of the pond. Food was fantastic. The chili coconut soup was a real treat. We also ordered the buffalo and duck mains which were really good as well. Service was helpful and very attentive. Definitely recommended, will be back.

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Wonderful and timeless"

An unforgettable stay, at 2000 meters above sea level, in cottages dating from the British colonial era, in the heart of a tea plantation ... a delight for the eyes and taste buds ...! Everything is done to satisfy you. Here you can relax while contemplating the Himalayas or participate in multiple and varied activities in an exceptional and timeless. Do not miss a picnic (or even overnight) to camp at the river! With 8 accommodations you will not be faced with the crowd! ... Dinner is traditionally eaten together, candlelight, and theme menus are absolutely amazing! The quality of massages provided on site is exceptional. The staff is totally dedicated, always available and very smiley. After the factory tour (and tasting) you will be unbeatable on tea! A wonderful shop will let you take in your luggage a little of this paradise!

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Do not miss out on this one"

"If you're planning your trip to SL then you MUST include 2 nights at Noel's Leopard Safari! Everything about the trip was fantastic! We had an ongoing joke during our safaris that the guides have called the animals in advance to tell them we were coming. Everytime we said ""It would be cool to see .... (insert animal here)"" they just miraculously appeared! It was quite mental actually. Leopard and jackal and sloth bear and monkeys and elephants and tons of birds and crocodiles and and and! The park is beautiful and the guides Say and Praneeth are so enthusiastic and they know everything about the wildlife and flora. It's really great to be with guides that clearly love what they are doing and have such great respect for our beautiful nature. The camp is luxury camping to say the least. We had the AC tent, hot water, plenty of plug points. They even have good internet connection at the lounge area. Pretty impressive for a camp in the middle of nowhere. Even the bugs were blissfully sparse when we were there. Heads up that this is seasonal off course. The experience was worth every penny!"

Mudanwan Villa: "Luxury at its Best"

"We stayed here with our families and each family had its own villa. Each villa is unique and different from one another and faces the pond that is in the centre. The villa has a great relaxation area that serves daily afternoon tea and snacks. The area is an open space so we could listen to the nature and the insects and birds sing. The food was delicious as well. We stayed here for a couple of nights and we were able to book the private room that sat all of us around a large family round table. The food was different each night and it was delicious! The service was also exceptional. We were able to fish and swim in the infinity pool at the resort. We loved the ambience and the tranquillity. TIP: Just outside the villa there is a non-profit mini school that was started by a couple. They wanted to provide good education to the aboriginal kids who live in the area. Many university students volunteer their time to educate the children. If you were to go visit this place, please visit the mini school and perhaps you can donate some school supplies, books and perhaps mini donations. The volunteers (university students) also help serve food that the couple runs to help support the mini school. Go dine there if you are curious!!"

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Place to relax"

"We went there in Aug . We arrived early and the staff was very accomodative..they gave us room at 7 in the morning.Rooms are clean and have partially open baths,wooden floor and furniture give a elegant look.You can always walk down to beach,though not as good/clean when compared to others in kerala.They have a very good pool with great view of sea.Food is ok ,the chef is always ready for ur wishes. To sum up a good place to detox and relax and spend quality time with family."

Nimmu House: "A really nice change of pace!"

Most people spend their first night in Ladakh in Leh (the site of the airport) which is fine, but another- and arguably better- option is to drive one hour west to the village of Nimmu near the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, and stay at the wonderful Nimmu House. I stayed in one of the excellent and comfortable tents, which were both spacious and quiet (unlike Leh). The food was really good, especially the lemon chicken which was absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, and the only improvements I could suggest would be some better grounds maintenance. I would definitely stay here again!

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Special dinner at a special place. You’ll need a reservation"

"No need to consider twice. Make sure you make a reservation, and go. 6-course trail of amazingness and a great selection of drinks (we had wine for this visit, but the cocktail menu also seemed fantastic). The vibe is cozy/intimate, with some personal touch of the owners. Two thumbs up!"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Beautiful"

"Hotel was surrounded by beautiful and impressive nature. The food was very good (in a such remote place I was not expecting this level). The manager and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer a boat tour to a very beautiful waterfall longer up the river. And if you want, you can take the kayak back. Worked very well with transfers from/to other hotels."
