SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "must visit when in yangon"
My husband and me went for dinner to this amazing restaurant which is so lovingly handled by the chef and his wife. The food is amazing, service top notch and the place itself is so beautiful. I would recommend this over Le planteaur anyday. The food here is tastier and better value for price. They serve a starter plate and salads, tasting desert plate. Attention to details is amazing. Must not miss this when in Yangon.Muang La Lodge: "A little piece of paradise"
"Great place - pure luxury a couple of hundred kilometers north of Luang Prabang. The manager could not have done more to make us comfortable - the food is excellent - and if you need more then they can deal with that (if younger them know). It's not cheap - by Lsos standards - but compares very well with other luxury hotels. Breakfast was brilliant - for the Pain au Chocolat they must flythe flour in from France and have a real French oven. Go for it - you deserve it Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Misool Eco Resort: "Spectacular and Amazing vacation"
"Wow, how does one write a review about paradise. This place is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth with diving that surely rivals the best on earth. From A to Z, this place is top notch. We stayed in Water Cottage 1 right by the Dive Shop and loved the proximity to our daily dive ritual. The cottage itself is gorgeous, all made from salvaged local wood. The outdoor bathroom/shower is perfect for the setting, full of eco-friendly bath products. The veranda is amazing with lounge chairs, a bed and a hammock (over the lagoon), offering incredibly views of the lagoon and fish down below, plus stairs down to lagoon for easy access for swimming or snorkeling or just a dip to cool off. The cottage was cleaned and refreshed every morning during our first dive. The bed set up with the AC and mosquito netting is tastefully done and did in fact prevent mosquitos from getting in while keeping us cool and comfortable at night. The food was delicious from morning till night. Fresh bread, tasty homemade granola, egg dishes, smoothies, juices, salads, desserts, fish, chicken, pasta, etc. And I can't forget to mention the fresh baked fantastic cookies served every afternoon. The chef serves a wide variety of great food to keep the guests sustained and ready to spend their days diving or snorkeling. They also serve a wide variety of wine and some beer. The staff in the restaurant provided excellent service. As for the diving, well, it's impossible to really describe other than to say it is out of this world. Since returning I have decided the best way to describe it is like in the cartoons such as Finding Nemo or The Little Mermaid. The incredible variety of coral really is THAT colorful and gorgeous. The fish really are that big and stunning. Tons of schools of all sorts of fish - bump heads, snapper, giant trivially, and batfish. Plus sharks, turtles, eels, sea cucumbers, sea horses, starfish, sea worms, banner fish, clown fish and the list goes on. But the coup de grace of Misool diving is the manta ray. Massive and majestic creatures that are otherworldly. I could dive with them all day and never get bored. The organization of the diving is the best I have ever experienced. Extreme attention is paid to safety. I always felt in good hands thanks to all the staff including Calvin and Sabine, but especially our amazing and caring dive master James. We went diving with him for 8 days on the same boat with the same equipment master and speedboat driver. They were so kind and thoughtful, I wanted to take them home with me. There was something amazing to see on every single dive. The one down side about this place is that we had to leave. And I do believe that I am now forever spoiled. Misool Eco Resort is truly a 5 star destination."Rachamankha: "Amazing small boutique hitel"
"We stayed at the Rachamankha for 4 nights in August. There are several huge positives about the hotel. First and foremost it's in the middle of the city but in a residential neighborhood and on a small alley surrounded by walls. As such it is a quiet oasis where you forget you're in a large town at all. The staff is amazing, helpful, and genuine and willing to whatever to make your stay wonderful. It's a small intimate hotel with very few rooms and is very quiet. We mostly saw couples. The entire hotel is laid out in a very symmetric, peaceful, zen-like way and was actually designed by a famous architect who has his office off the hotel library. The decor is very interesting, with regional historic artifacts in the outdoor hallways and courtyards. The included breakfast at the restaurant was outstanding and there was a good set of menu options. The one dinner we had was excellent as well, though somewhat pricy. The only downside was that the wifi was weak, slow, and frequently failed requiring another login. AC is great and you can make the room as cool as you want. In summary: Pros: outstanding boutique hotel in an excellent location; great value Con: weak wifi"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Chill-out excellence"
This was the last venue of a bespoke tour organised by Trailfinders and it was an excellent way to finish a memorable 10 days in Kerala. We stayed 2 days, but 5 would be infinitely preferable! There are two retaurants, one upmarket indoor with a wide menu, but we favoured the beach restaurant, for breakfast and evening meals, specialising in fish and, for our last meal, lobster - fantastic! The service could not be bettered and, even for our short stay, staff recognised and greeted us regularly. We flew from Calicut airport, via Abu Dhaby to UK but its a long drive there. There is a smaller much nearer airport at Mangalore which might be worth looking at. This is a super venue for chilling out with its infinity pool.Jing’s Residence: "Deserved No. 1 spot on Tripadvisor"
"If you are visiting Pingyao I really can't imagine there is a better place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The location is excellent, just 1 minute walk from the main intersection so you're close enough to the hustle and bustle but not right in it. It was really nice being able to easily get back to the residence to freshen up and relax before heading out again (you kind of need to do that in Pingyao). Stepping through the inconspicuous wooden doors you literally step in to a little oasis that you wouldn't know is there. The staff are exceptionally attentive and well trained; There are only 10 or so suites so it's quiet, spacious and very comfortable. Of course the house and rooms were perfectly clean and we had two great nights sleep in large, clean, comfortable beds. I visited with a friend but I would love to return with my family someday. It also helps that Pingyao itself is an amazing place to visit. "Villa Song Saigon: "Peaceful retreat by the river"
"We stayed for one night but wish we had stayed for longer. The setting, history and design of the hotel are stunning. After a day exploring district 1 it was the perfect spot to come back to, to enjoy a glass of wine sat beside the river. The hotel offers a speedboat shuttle into the centre, which takes about 15 minutes - otherwise it took about 20 minutes off-peak to come back by taxi. The service was very good - we were delighted to be able to check into our room on arrival at 9am. The breakfast was a la carte and excellent - sat right next to the river - what a wonderful start to the day! Our room was quite small - but had a lovely balcony with river views. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Villa Song Saigon: "Absolutely splendid & luxurious"
We selected this hotel for our final night in Vietnam and to celebrate our anniversary. It seemed a long way from the airport initially, but really it is quite close to the city centre and the hotel provides regular transport for guests. We splurged on an art suite and it was so beautiful that we wished we could have stayed longer, much longer. The staff were so kind and in our room we found a lovely little surprise to help us mark our special occasion. How thoughtful. The location of the hotel overlooking the river is beautiful and we were so impressed with the decor, the staff, the restaurant and the facilities. Our room was superb in every detail and we were given the opportunity to take a boat ride from the hotel's dock to the city - great fun. A fantastic stay. The River Resort: "Great place to stay in South of Laos, close to Vat Phong!"
Wow, this is The place to be in the South of Laos! Along the mighty Mekong, great rooms, very friendly staff, good restaurant with a amazing view on the river. Value for money too! Very close to Vat Phong. Highly recommended.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Beautiful resort – well suited for relaxation"
"During our 1800km TukTuk challenge from Mumbai to Kanyakumari, we had a two night stay at the resort. On arrival at the hotel after a tiring rickshaw drive, we were greeted and offered fresh coconut water as welcome drink. We were fortunate to have a rest day at the tranquil resort - far from the madding crowd. The accommodation/bungalows were clean and well furnished. The food was good and staff very friendly, courtious and eager to help. It has a clem beach and swimming in the sea was very enjoyable. It's the place to go to for a quiet, restful and relaxing holiday. We also had a 'thank you' card from the manager before we departed - you don't see this often. We would love to go there again for a longer stay. Stayed November 2016, traveled with friends"
