"Located in the old town, next to the main temples (actually one of the most famous temples, Wat Pra Singh is next door). Very quiet location, perfect to escape after a long day of sightseeing. Very nice decor, very classy. Spread out, small (only 25 rooms), very quiet all over, you can really relax. Nice rooms (I recommend the deluxe rooms as they are much bigger and nicer). Also the library, the pool area, the spa are nice. Very friendly and nice staff. They do their best to accommodate you. Fell in love with this hotel as soon as I arrived and had to sit in the magnificent library for a while to wait until my room was ready. This hotel reminded me of a smaller version of Raffles in Singapore. Great attention to detail, superb breakfast, friendly staff and spacious rooms. Loved the pool on top of the residence and had a great meal at the restaurant. Location is superb with close proximity to BTS and other excellent restaurants at Rain Hill.Manukan Island Resort: "Wow"
Spent 3 days, 2 nights here. Started with a lovely greeting by very friendly staff. Great room with water views. Large room, good bathroom and nice verandah to sit on and watch the world go by. Try the walk up to sunset point - was cloudy when I went, but still nice. Food in restaurant is nice, dearer than mainland but still cheap compared to home. Good buffet breakfast. Lots of people on the island during the day with locals coming over, but they all leave late afternoon then it's all yours. Very relaxing, peaceful few days. Went on snorkeling trip to nearby islands from here too. Great. Would love to come back here.Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Wonderful stay!"
It's as though we walked on the the set of "Out of Africa" with all the period pieces. Great location, staff,room was neat,clean and spacious. It's off the beaten track but then again most of the great places are.Mathis Retreat: "Stunning"
We only had two nights in Ubud at the end of our two week Bali holiday but I wish we had longer at Kenanga. What a beautiful peaceful hotel. Amazing rooms, helpful staff and such a nice private location. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to go back.Reverie Siam: "What a wonderful place!"

"This would have to be the best overall holiday experience of my life incredible diving and snorkelling a resort that doesn't just talk ECO but walks it in a big way lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting, you don't want to leave. Fabulous staff who really look after you ( get a massage) the food is excellent and they will do something special if you don't fancy anything on the menu. We stayed there February 26 - March 1, 2018 to rest up from nearly three weeks in Myanmar and Bhutan. The room was handsomely appointed, well laid out and had excellent lighting. The wood beams and high ceiling of the room and the inner courtyard reminded me of the Monasterio in Cuzco Peru (minus the paintings of 16th century Spanish aristocrats). I mention the lighting because poor lighting seemed to be a common failure among other hotels on this trip through Myanmar and Bhutan. The restaurant was excellent with very attentive and responsive service. We would have no problem returning at any time.Reverie Siam: "Wonderful hotel"
"I'm still dreaming of going back here. We had an absolutely fabulous time; the space was beautiful, service impeccable and couldn't have asked for anything more. We stayed in one of the separate houses and it was lovely; everything decorated nicely, well maintained and spacious. The breakfast was the best in Thailand. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. We ate several times in the restaurant and had great food every time. Honestly, this was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip and we would go back to Pai just to visit again."
