SANAK RETREAT BALI: "Peaceful & magical"
"Stayed as a family (kids 5, 9 & 11) for a long weekend (3 nights). Stayed in a two-story family villa that was spacious and cozy, with beautiful rice paddy views. Kids chased frogs at night with flashlights and splashed in the pool during the day. Playroom above the restaurant and the pétanque court in the back were great additions! Excellent food & service, superb massages - also for kids, which is rare and ours loved it! Did the walking tour in the rice paddies and nearby village, including a swim in the waterfalls - it was wonderful. Also did the trip to Danau Tambligan, which was interesting, and the Munduk waterfalls. The sunsets are amazing, and the peaceful surrounds make for a perfect R&R destination. We will be back! "Villa Song Saigon: "Love the restaurant"
"Even when you don't stay in the hotel you still can come here for food and drink. The advantage when enjoy meals here is that you are served with 5 stars hotel level. Staff are very polite, well trained and pay attention to small details to satisfy you. About the view, this hotel owns the best view of Sai Gon river. Decorations are very well to make it different from restaurants around with full of green but not surrounded by mosquitoes as most of other river side restaurant. Breakfast, lunch or dinner here are equally good. But each moment has different beauty. When I want to enjoy my romantic relationship with my hubby, Villa Song always my first choice."Talabgaon Castle Heritage Resort: "Beautifull interesting hotel."
"We only spent one night at the hotel, but I wish we had spent more time here. We arrived in the evening and had dinner by the pool, it was wonderful. The room was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the nearby village, a step back in time. Highly recommended !"Tugu Malang: "Wonderful Heritage Hotel"
"This is a 5 star hotel and more on the expensive side. We stayed here two nights and were very content. The reason we decided to stay here was because they have a room that the first president of Indonesia, Sukarno, used to stay in. You can see his room on request. They also have a lot of historical indonesian objects on display like a full gamelan set which you also get to play, an original tea room with complimtary teatime and snacks, breakfast was included and you have the choice between continental breakfast and indonesian breakfast (both are excellent). Our room was pristine with crisp linen sheets and has ac. The shower and toilet is outside and feels very exotic with all the plants. On your arrival you get a complinentary drink and fruit. The staff is very friendly and help you with anything you need. What we especially liked about the hotel was that all the packaging wasn't plastic. They used natural material. We would definetely stay here again if we could."Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Beautiful food, good service, nice setting"
"We went for dinner, arriving just after opening time, with no reservation. We were lucky and got a table, but virtually all the other tables were reserved! The setting was simple but very comfortable. The service was excellent. We were very impressed by each of the dishes which had strong Thai flavors fused with Western themes. There was an excellent wine list at reasonable prices. An excellent restaurant."THE SAMAR: "Very nice retreat"
"We stayed in double bedroom apartment (4 people) and had a wonderful stay. Building and decoration of exquisite taste, remarkable artifacts you would not find in standard hotels, rooms in pre-existing local houses, refurbished with attention. Location is half way between crowded city center and Ankor Wat - tuktuk is definitely needed but arranged by the staff. Food is really good, and staff really helpful - they were kind enough to arrange for us a barbecue after an event outside. Very nice! The pool is very comfortable and enjoyable. We definitely recommend "Supanniga Eating Room: "A Worthwhile Visit"
"Received a very warm welcome from all the staff while walking up to the third floor. Everyone was smiling which was great. The seating was rather uncomfortable although the food made up for that shortcoming. Excellent quality of Thai food with authentic flavours. Staff were well mannered and efficient given our large group of 10 with 2 children. Also, the Italian red wine we had as a house pouring wine was excellent at the price. An easy drink and memorable too. Would come back again when next in Bangkok."Jing’s Residence: "Zen & Classicism"
We planned 2 nights and stayed a week, absolutely smitten by the abundant charm, the historical atmosphere, the perfection in every detail and the friendly helpful staff. Expensive? Yes but worth every yuan.Inle Princess Resort: "Un magnifique 5 étoiles"

"We were completely blown away by Anopura. If I could give it ten stars it would be too few. There has been great care and skill in the design and furnishing. It's tasteful and comfortable, and Ishwar and the team are superb. They have looking after people well down to a fine art - caring but not fawning. Latika, the loveliest dog in the world broke the ice. Inside a couple of hours we were involved in an international boules tournament involving the other 2 guests, and Ishwar and Dennis. The food was amazing whether it was Indian or European - we had a beautiful cheese shuffle and an amazing salad for lunch within 20 minutes of Ishwar making the suggestion. Go for a walk round the village in the evening and take up the offer of a visit to a ruined local hunting lodge. I won't spoil the surprises. We were there 3 nights and the whole took on a dreamlike quality. The air was clean, the temperature perfect, and the unheated pool invigorating. If it was easier to get there I'd never go anywhere else. As we were leaving Latika just lay there with a sad face instead of rushing up with tail wagging. She seemed very sad to see us leaving. But she wasn't half as sad as we were."Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
