"Ho prenotato questa struttura un po' alla cieca ma mi è rimasta nel cuore. Sono rimasta colpita dalla struttura, sono rimasta colpita dal tatto e dalla gentilezza con cui lo staff ti accompagna in una realtà così diversa. La stanza è molto curata sia negli arredi sia per quanto riguarda la pulizia. Abbiamo alloggiato nelle tenda con piscina privata ed è stata un'esperienza unica poter sentire i rumori della natura all'interno di una tenda dotata di ogni confort. Ubud è vicinissima e il resort ha delle navette gratuite con cui raggiungere il centro. Il responsabile Kendu ci ha aiutato in ogni nostra richiesta e necessita..Impeccabile! Reminiscent of French colonial style, this hip little hotel delivers big time. Rooms are airy, beautiful and well appointed. The roof-top pool, long enough for laps, affords spectacular vistas of this booming city. Most of Bangkok's happening restaurants are nearby. (We tried Paste, Bo Lan, and Gaggan--all of them sensational). Rates include a delicious breakfast. The nearby skytrain eases travel around the city. Take a business card from the hotel desk just in case you need to take a cab back. The Cabochon is tiny and not necessarily well known.tugu malang: "A most wonderful hotel"
I can really recommend this hotel. Although only 25 years old it is built in the dutch colonial style. The staff are very attentive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food in the restaurant is excellent and cheap by english standards. The rooms are comfortable and perfectly adequate. Part of the hotel is a museum and the staff give an escorted tour. The is even the possibility of a cycle tour in the morning avoiding the traffic, This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at and I doubt if there is a better one in Malang. An extensive tea with indonesian delicacies is available free to all the guests.Dewakan: "A Revelation"
"Many Europeans find the traditional Malaysian Cuisine challenging, with blachang , ikan bilis and fiery sambals. However at the Dewakan you will experience a startling transformation ! The chef has worked in Denmark at Noma, regarded by many as the best restaurant in the world were only local produce is used. The Chef has taken this concept to Malaysia and uses only local raw materials except for the lamb. The result is amazing. "This island is staggering. We arrived on the boat to a millionaires welcome, we were blown away and the only guests on the island, ill never have this again in my life. Tranquil hotel in a tempest of tourism. Friendly and helpful staff made our stay a delight. Nearly forgot to mention the food which was cooked to perfection. Really sutle flavours, we just loved it. Pick the yellow room if you can.Mathis Retreat: "Love this place!"

"when u travel frequently and to many places, u become immune to surprises in hotels..and then something like the yandabo home comes your way..and just blows you away..the product is impeccable..in design, materials and extreme good taste..the location is exceptional..on a bend of a large river..the high roofs..the glass roof light in the shower...and the service and food are great..not to mention the enthusiasm with which the staff takes u around a remarkable remote village of skilled potters..ideal for what is increasingly rare in international travel..a look at the skills of artisans in a genuine surrounding.. We stayed in this absolutely beautiful small resort for two nights. We were fortunate that we had a short journey, having flown to the nearest town and been picked up by the resort's car and our guide. We thought the location absolutely stunning and the staff even more fabulous. Our trek into the hills on Christmas Eve could not have been better (even down to the picnic lunch we carried with us from the resort) and the Christmas Eve entertainment which ended with us lighting Chinese lanterns was just magic. "OUTSTANDING, with a fabulous wow factor as soon as you drive into the courtyard. This hotel is a little gem so really I don't want to big it up too much as I wish for it to stay just as it is and always have a room available for me to stay for when I want to pop over to stay for a long weekend...... Paul walker, the GM, leads a great team. The service, food, amenities ( Molton Brown ) rooms, public areas of the hotel are all GREAT. Its a perfect stay for a short break and I will most definitely be retuning"
