Villa Mathis: "Un séjour extraordinaire"

"Nous avons séjourné pendant 5 nuits à la Villa Mathis et nous y avons célébré notre mariage. Nous y sommes allés à 18 personnes, dès l'arrivée nous avons été émerveillé par les lieux, les chambres sont spacieuses et de très bien décorées. Les espaces communs sont splendides, de belles piscines et beaucoup de verdure, on avait envie de flâner dans chaque recoin. Le personnel est à l'écoute, et d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle.Notre cérémonie de mariage a été parfaite, tout le monde s'est plié en 4 pour que ce jour reste gravé dans nos mémoires. David’s Kitchen: "King David"

David, The first of many best parts of our visit was your warm greeting. Hospitality at its finest. Then the delectable dishes of magnificently presented food. as a good as it gets. Please come to Chicago & make that pumpkin soup. Each course surpassed the next. I too would partner for life with a woman who could create that chocolate mousse. Kudos to your staff. The grand finale, a man proposed to a woman on Chinese Valentines Day. Cue the applause & thank god she said yes.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "WOW Amazing and Stunning"

"The beautiful amazing and stunning Blue Mansion is a dream come true. It really is a dream location to stay in and a great honour to have been able to reside here for only 1 night (which was not enough). We got there late and was greeted by Shiro. Shiro is a great host and always smiling and happy to help you with everything. She has knowledge of the Mansion and where to go out in the local area. The Mansion is stunning where ever you look you have a view which is jaw dropping! We stayed in the room ""The Old Kitchen"" which still has the old large stove as a centre piece in the room covered in glass to protect it. The room has its own has its own Jacuzzi which is beautifully lit and tiled. The shower here is stunning. Old fashioned but modern and powerful with various settings. The room is large and open planned with amazing woodwork and large shutters. You can imagine Cheong Fatt Tze walking around his mansion. This place still has a very strong presence of him. Breakfast is great and again the setting is just awe inspiring! Thank you to Ms Seng RouHan for your help with our booking. The tour completed the experience. If you have time take the tour which is included for paying guests. I would like to stay here longer in future but I would find it very hard to leave if I stayed too long as this place is just simply heaven. Thank you Blue Mansion. Mie Cafe: "Fabulous food – speciality vegan taster menu"

"We were recommended this by the chef at Cusine Wat Damnak and were not at all disappointed. We selected the vegan menu as it sounded really interesting and found it to be absolutely delicious....definitely worth having even if you are not vegan. The Samlor kary was superb and the chocolate lychee desert truly fabulous. Another fabulous meal - great way to end our holiday"

Slow Villas and Spa: "Unique hideaway"

"During my stay in Gili Air I was unfortunate with the weather. It was probably the biggest rain I've witnessed on this lovely little island but arriving to Slow villas made it all disappear. Receptionist welcomed me with a smile that almost brought out the sun again. The manager escorted me to my villa holding an umbrella for me. Got to love that. Villa was exquisite from top to bottom. Beautifully finished little details gave me ""wow"" moments throughout the whole stay. You could order almost everything you wanted from the reception so the remote location and bad weather wasn't an issue. And the breakfast....fantastic!! Many different options to choose from and everything served in a way that just makes you want to have breakfast for lunch and dinner as well. A perfect getaway. My favorite piece of paradise."

Mie Cafe: "Charming, Delicious and Pretty"

We had a wonderful dinner here. Glad we made reservations as people were turned away. I had the vegetarian price fixe. It was perfect. Nice flavors and charming setting. we sat outside and could still see the prep work in the kitchen. I would highly recommend.

The River Resort: "R and R"

I loved the place. It was such a magical place. Beautiful views and the staff were very excellent! They anticipated your every needs you from a free bicycle to use to how you like your food to come out. Loved the place!

Rachamankha: "So charming"

I'm always a regular customer at Rachamankha and have to stay here every time I visit Chiangmai. It's a very charming boutique hotel with around only 30 rooms, but the design, ambience, food, drink & service are all superb. You know right away once you step in the check-in area that the owner has taken great care of the place and every detail to make this a unique place has been considered. Don't ever miss your breakfast here as you'll be having breakfast served in an amazing set of vintage chinaware.

David’s Kitchen: "Memorable evening"

Three of us had an exceptional dinner at David's Kitchen where the service was superb, the meals delicious and the evening one which we will long remember. The warm and personal welcome we received from David was the beginning of a wonderful time. The menu was extensive and everything looked so appetizing that we couldn't decide what to choose. But the lamb shank, pork loin and pumpkin soup were done beautifully and served by an attentive, friendly staff. We look forward to going back when we are in Chiang Mai again. Highly recommended indeed.

Jing’s Residence: "Wonderful stay in Pingyao"

In keeping with the character of Pingyao, Jing's Residence takes you a step back in time.
