Glenburn Tea Estate: "Perfect"
A great place to stay. Views were stunning, hosts were really helpful. Tea tour, walks and toy train ride all great, and the Glenburn guides took all of the hassle out of it. Food was great too, and lots of it! Ride was long and bumpy, but drivers were safe and friendly. Picnic at a viewpoint was also a highlight.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A Glimps of Time"
"The time we entered the Blue Mansion, we were embraced in the aroma of ancient times. I spent a whole evening visiting around the hotel and had a wonderful time enjoying the scenes. When it was getting dark gradually and the red lanterns were on, it seemed I had traveled back to the old times. It was a pleasant and satisfying trip to this hotel. Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"Tugu Lombok: "Perfect holidays"
"Tugu Hotel is such a lovely place to rest and enjoy holidays! Very quiet and peaceful place, beautiful beach, wonderful massages, very good food ! Absolutely everything was fantastic. Last and not least, all the staff is so smiling, helpful and professionnal. I highly recommend this hotel. Sophie"Amata Lanna: "Traditional Oasis in Chang Mai"
An absolute must on your visit to Chang Mai. Beautiful traditional Thai rooms comfortable, clean and with lovely decor. The staff are delightful, friendly and extremely helpful. Delicious breakfasts served every day poolside. The location is perfect near to the night market restaurants and within walking distance to other attractions. Loved our stay here and would definitely return.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Great fine dining in Yangon"
Together with Le Planteur this is the best fine dining in Yangon. We went here for an early Saturday lunch. The business set lunch menu is priced at a good level. Affordable for frequent visits. I chose the Norwegian salmon entry and beef stew as main course. Wife selected the scallop soup and ravioli. All dishes were tasty and good. Also plenty of really nice bread and a taste of pumpkin soup were served. All in all a really good food in beautiful location, scenery and decor. Wish Seeds could tone down their rediculous organic focus which is not very suitable in a country depending on sustainable agriculture growth and where deforestation is an issue. Nevertheless, we hope to come back again soon for another great lunch or dinner experience.Tugu Lombok: "Vacaciones inolvidables"
Yandabo Home: "Hidden Gem in the middle of nowhere"
"What a delight to come to this little hidden gem along the Ayeyarwaddy river traveling by boat from Mandalay to Pagan. Yandabo hpme consists of 12 small houses directly by the river side made out of the finest material traditional yet extremely modern. The villas are very spacious with high ceilings and a wonderful large bathroom with a rain shower. The amenities at l'Occitane a delightful surprise. The food is local and very good. The staff will take you on a tour the nearby villages one totally immersed in making pottery the other on the other side of the river farmers with a population of 4500 water buffaloes. The people are lovely and very friendly the area is truly authentic and not only single tourist in sight. I highly recommend this place as a stop along the route it beats Yangon and Mandalay by far. The only thing I could add would be a lounge area with some sofas by the river side so one could sit and relax whilst sipping some local tea"Glenburn Tea Estate: "A Truly Magical Stay"
"I will never forget my time spent at Glenburn - it was truly magical and will always have a warm place in my heart. From the lovely driver Ranjan who picked me up from the airport with a refreshing glass of homemade lemonade and a picnic to the lovely, attentive managers Holly and Jemima who welcomed me with a green Glenburn sash on arrival I knew it was going to be a great stay! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with incredible to detail - gorgeous unique suites, amazing flowers and views of the mountains. It felt so tranquil; as if you were on top of the world! What really made my stay special however was the staff. Chandra's home baked banana bread is truly the best I've ever tasted!! The themed evening meals were always delicious and I loved being able to sample new cuisines. I was even lucky enough to experience a three course meal complete with a delicious homemade apple crumble down at the camp lodge next to the river with a roaring campsite fire and oil lamps - that was a truly memorable experience and the staff were so attentive in making it the best night for us (thank you Ashim and Myla!!). I've also left understanding so much more about tea and now profess myself to be quite the connoisseur!! So thank you to Parveez and Nibir for all your expertise and especially for the tour visiting the tea pickers - that was a great day and I think the tea basket looked great on me if I say so myself ;) You can tell how hard the management work to endeavour you have a great stay and it was lovely to spend some time drinking masala chai with Holly and Jemima on the veranda - thank you for all your help in ensuring I had a memorable stay! I'd recommend Glenburn to anyone - get stuck in, walk down into the village, day trip to Darjeeling, sample a green tea oil massage and have bed tea every morning - you won't regret it!! This place is a little chunk of heaven. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo"VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Old School Elegance"
"Wow - what a place. Right on the river. To catch a ride to the heart of District 1, there is no shuttle bus. There is a shuttle boat - a speed boat. You ride up the river, past all the barges and little tugboats - past all the major waterfront development as you approach the heat and noise of Ho Chi Minh City. Villa Song is located in an exclusive old part of the city, tucked away on its own - by the water. We had a room overlooking the river. It was amazing to look out and see a container barge floating by so close. The restaurant is world class in my opinion. The chef has some great ideas about ingredients and presentation. The pool is a bit small and cramped but who cares. This is Saigon, baby. The staff were friendly and professional. We had a late checkout - no problem. The experience overall was flawless. Highly recommended. "Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing place to stay"
We spent 4 nights and enjoyed every moments . Our stay included the new year eve night and we were delighted to enjoy the staff entertainments with all staff children. Lovely place and memories. When cold in the room we enjoyed a fire . Food was great
