The Hue House: "Amazing food!"

Review by: marcstussak | Source: Trip Advisor
"The hue house is absolutely amazing restaurant! It is hard to find as it is located on the 10th floor of the bussiness buildig/ hotel and has no advertisement leading you to the restaurant. Due to this, the place is still undiscovered from tourists and there are always available tables( even for big groups). Regarding to the food- it is the best place in saigon to eat viatnameese food! Strongly recomended! Staff is increably polite and friendly and the view from the rooftop is outstanding! If you are in saigon- you should definitely come here to get the hue exerience!"

Satri House: "Home away from home"

"Close to the most gathering places, quite, peaceful with a warmth & welcome staff members. The design made us feel like home each building has traditional style with beautiful decorations in details. The services are personalize special care not much not less with the touch of Laos. We will absolutely return and spend longer days."

Le Calao: "Superb service, lovely view and delicious dishes."

Review by: Skydivej | Source: Trip Advisor
Can't rate this place highly enough, it was just a perfect evening and that's saying a lot, given how picky I am about service & presentation. Service was attentive and earnest but not overbearing. Food was delicious and well-presented. Wine list was quite sufficient to meet our tastes and the dishes we'd ordered. Finally the view was lovely towards the river, the fairy lights were pretty and the building itself is quite something. We wanted a nice, hassle-free romantic dinner and Le Calao delivered a truly lovely evening.

Villa Song Saigon: "The very best Hotel in Vietnam if not SE Asia"

Review by: Craig_M-NCL | Source: Trip Advisor
"As my review title says this is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at, Ive travelled the world and been luckily enough to stay at some amazing places but this place is just something else. Room: I booked this hotel for 2 nights to finish off my mini tour of Vietnam and my only complaint was I didn't book it for longer. We had the sanctuary river room which was stunning this room also had a small balcony however not all rooms do so its worth double checking, I didn't realise this and the hotel allocated the balcony room to us via email which is a fantastic touch. The room itself was large spacious and bright with modern touches but keeping its french colonial style and i don't think I've ever slept in a more comfortable or bigger bed! It must be about 10 foot long. Service: Absolutely out of this world. From the moment you arrive to check out all staff are helpful friendly and literally can't do enough to ensure your stay is a memorable one. On our last day we didn't fly till midnight so had asked if possible could we have a late check out, unfortunately for us the hotel was fully booked but we were assured that we could shower and use all facilities until we were ready to leave. 5 minutes after being told this Yega the GM called our room and offered us another room to use until 6PM as they didn't have anyone arriving to that room until 7.30PM that night. This was an amazing helpful gesture and made our last day much more comfortable the hotel only has 23 rooms all designed differently so i can see sometimes when full how it can be a logistical nightmare to accommodate such requests as ours but they were met without any problems and no extra charge. We only eat here once for dinner and the food was out of this world Kevin the head chef is always around mingling with guests telling you about his food and wines, He's a very talented knowledgeable man who really is at the top of his game in his role, He took time to tell me how they prepared and cooked the pork i had as well as asked us which strength cheeses and flavours we liked for the cheese board after dinner. Al A Carte Breakfast was amazing the both times we had it a wide range of western, healthy and asian cuisine to choose from. The eggs Benedict are a must all served with fresh fruits and juices and coffee. You can have this from 6AM till 10PM these are the little touches that set this hotel apart from anywhere else. Lastly make sure you make use of the hotels free speedboat to district 1. Miss all the madness of the traffic and speed up the saigon river taking in the views. There was only me and my partner on the boat and the captain took some amazing pics of us with the HCM skyline in the background he was great and it was a memorable experience. Villa Song Saigon i will be back!"

Inle Princess Resort: "Perfect"

Review by: eliza725 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We can entirely recommend this resort - in fact I can't think of a single criticism (except that wifi could be better, but that is true of everywhere in Myanmar. Give it time) The setting is lovely - the hotel insists that all boats arrive rowed with their motors off to keep the tranquility, which also means there is lovely bird life to observe. Food is delicious - and you can see their carefully tended organic vegetable garden. There are lots of little touches that make a difference - the personal welcome note on handmade paper, the mosquito repellant at dinner, the bikes, the little appetiser at dinner.... They say they are conscious of conservation and we saw evidence of that. plus the staff here seem genuinely happy Genuinely recommend."

Tugu Bali: "Beachside Balinese Bliss"

Review by: Sharper28 | Source: Trip Advisor
We wanted to spend sometime on the beach in Bali before heading inland and our stay at Tugu was exactly what we had hoped for and more! Within close reach of nearby cafes and beach clubs for surfing and drinks; the hotel is beautifully decorated, well maintained and has an authentic Balinese style. Canggu is a much quieter beach location than Kuta and Seminyak and the waves are more suitable for beginners. The service was superb, our room was beautiful with a massive comfy bed and the food was amongst the best I have ever eaten. I cannot stress enough how good the breakfast was!! Yum! Whilst the location was a bonus for us, it is important to note that it is in a bustling area and as such you can hear some noise on a weekend. The spa services are on the expensive side and pretty average, but this didn’t bother us too much as the food and everything else was so reasonably priced. The free Balinese dance night was our favourite evening in Bali and the staff were all so friendly and helpful, we would recommend to others and come back in a heartbeat!

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Perfect for a Bangkok break"

Review by: Ran13 | Source: tripadvisor.com
Perfect stay from beginning to end. Staff were incredibly friendly and always looking to assist. Great location, just off sukhumvit road and 5 mins from the Skytrain, yet feels wonderfully tranquil and cut off from the hustle and bustle. Have already recommended to friends visiting in the near future, and will most certainly be returning ourselves.

MesaStila: "Hidden treasure – a lovely escape"

Review by: Jintymikmax | Source: Trip Advisor
"Our party of 19 stayed at this amazing resort on the last leg of our trip. The MesaStila is housed on a vast area that was once a coffee plantation. Imagine lush greenery, manicured lawns and beautifully landscaped plants. These grounds are peppered with bungalows of varying sizes with some having connecting doors. This proved useful for all the kids in the party to visit each others' rooms. We also had the privilege of staying at the Bellavista (also referred to as the Presidential Suite). This palatial residence has a living room large enough to house all 19 of us for dinner without feeling cramped. The amazing staff obliged to our request to have room service served there because of the kids were too tired to head to the restaurant for dinner. The living area also proved useful for group discussion sessions and a good game of hide and seek. The bedrooms were equally mind blowing with the ornate four poster beds and sunken baths. A beautiful blend of antiques and modern requirements - copper sinks and faucets, flat screen TV, wooden bar locks, electric kettle and a bar fridge. The resort kindly obliged to our request for extra beds as some of us had 3 in a group. The rooms were large enough to accommodate the bed without it feeling like space was compromised, The other villas has a variety of bedding combinations including one with a loft bed! Within the Resort, the Hammam Spa was a wonderful escape as I opted for the 90min Intensive Massage Therapy. My therapist managed to work through my knots from the previous day's hike and left me feeling so refreshed, I was tempted to add another 90 minutes! Breakfast is served daily at Java Green. There is a decent selection of local and international food (try to chicken porridge!) but the one thing you must not miss is the daily dose of Jamu (Indonesian Traditional Herbal Drink) served by the loveliest little lady at the entrance of the restaurant. There are several concoctions to choose from - be warned, some taste better than others - but they're all good for the system. And if the lady's appearance is anything to go by, I'd be happy to drink the stuff daily! If you're wondering what to do at the resort, here's a list of stuff we tried: Cycling through the Padi fields and taking a soak at the local ""hot spring"" at the end of the ride The Coffee Plantation tour - very educational with more than just coffee to see Take a swim in the lovely pool Relax at the SPA Play pool at the bar Read a nice book at the clubhouse Ask about the Jeep tour to Merapi (Indonesia's most active volcano) Visit the amazing Borobudur Plenty to see and do! There's also stuffwe didn't have time to try, like batik painting, learning to play the Gamelan, morning Yoga sessions, pony rides, etc. Check with the Reception for the daily activity schedules. While the 8 parents on the trip were quite awestruck by the place, I also have to add that we had 11 boys with us - all aged 12 and some were slightly spooked by the ornate architecture and furnishings when we arrived on the first night. The city boys having just left a rather modern upmarket hotel did take a while to get used to the antiquated outlook of the place. That said, they were very happy to run around once the sun came up and once familiarity set in, they were a bit sad to leave after 3 nights there. I would recommend the establishment for couples, anyone in need of peace and quiet, people who appreciate old architecture or just someone in need of a slightly different holiday."
