Villa Mathis: "A little gem"

Review by: TheoSalvador | Source: Trip Advisor
"Went there without knowing what to expect and what a great surprised! This property is one of a kind, few villas scattered in a huge tropical garden, we were staying in Villa des Rizières with friends and everything was perfect, the bedrooms really nicely decorated the lodging area to die for and the pool just gorgeous!!! The staff is really helpful dedicated and friendly... I strongly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close to Semyniak and Canggu but in a quite and stunning environment. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"

Villa Song Saigon: "A wonderful boutique hotel"

Review by: millywils0n | Source: Trip Advisor
"Villa Song was the first stop on our recent SE Asian odyssey and it did not disappoint! We arrived after the best part of a day's travelling so were quite tired and ready to relax and chill. The reception staff were great and got us booked in very quickly (lovely watermelon juice as well) and off we went to our room. Beautiful view over the terrace, restaurant and Saigon River, the balcony was fairly small but there was room for 2 chairs and a table so that's really all that's needed. There was plenty of storage, a very nice bathroom including many extra accessories such as a sewing kit, cotton buds, wipes etc and the queen sized beds were extremely comfortable. We repaired to the beautiful poolside where we were able to recharge our batteries and partake of the gorgeous cocktails (Happy hour was 5 - 7 pm with 2 for 1 on cocktails and various other drinks). The breakfasts were awesome! Fruit platter to start and the menu had 15+ items on it from English breakfasts to Continental to Pancakes to Vietnamese specialities - you could have as many dishes as you wanted, plus you didn't actually have to have it at breakfast time (although we did). Being in district 2, Villa Song is a little way off the beaten track, however there was a complimentary river shuttle from the hotel to downtown which ran several times a day and which we utilised on our free day so that we could spend the entire day downtown - I recommend taking the shuttle, much more interesting than a taxi. Lastly I must give a huge shout out to the staff at Villa Song - nothing too much trouble, always smiling, checking we had enough coffee/tea/beer/cocktails/juice...I think with the hotel only having 20 or so rooms it has a real family feel to it. I would highly recommend Villa Song to anyone Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"

Tugu Lombok: "The definition of hidden gem"

Review by: Scott A | Source: tripadvisor.com
Hotel Tugu Lombok is absolutely the perfect place to relax and a must-do on your Indonesian vacation. The hotel has stunning panoramic views and amazing sunsets. The beach is serene and quiet (even the three or four children that were there when we were there were well behaved...). While swimming is tough since the shore line is very shallow and rock filled, the hotel provides free snorkel gear and water shoes that make a cool down trip to the water easy and fun. Each room is uniquely furnished with antiques from around Indonesia that gives the hotel a cool vibe you can't find anywhere else...and the rooms/suites are amazing!

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing nature, food and hospitality"

Review by: Emma H | Source: Trip Advisor
"We arrived by a perfect flight into Yala on the day as a large group for a friends birthday celebration holiday. Noel was the perfect host, the staff and team were hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly. We did 4 safari's, over 2 large lots in the national park, spotted 8 leopards (one for a good half hour posed around a waterhole for perfect photos) and discovered many other birds and wildlife. The food was magical, different every meal, great vegetarian mixed with a touch of meat, no-one was left hungry, a great introduction to Sri Lankan food, it was hard to match after we left. Beds are comfortable, flushing toilets and outdoor showers added to the Safari. The honeymoon tent is aircon and glam so jump into that one, otherwise stay cool in the hammock provided outside your tent. I can honestly say, as an animal and bird lover, this was the highlight of my and my husbands trip, I not have the safari bug and want to do so many more! The best Safari in the region."

Reverie Siam: "Beautiful oasis"

Review by: Debra L | Source: Trip Advisor
"My husband and I have lived in South East Asia for over three years. We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many boutique hotels. Seldom have we seen one this beautiful. It is very hard to improve on the reviews that have already been written about this place. We drove up the mountain out of Chang Mai and came to Pai for a little business. While there is not much to do here, this hotel would provide an awesome quiet rest. The grounds are stunning, the service was excellent, the food was amazing and quite unusual for this part of the country. Our room was lovely all the extra amenities here were very thoughtful. It is the most pricey hotel in this area but not unreasonable by Western standards. The (tuk Tuk) service to town every evening was a nice touch. Would highly highly recommend this place – you would not be disappointed. Wish we could take this place home with us- Cambodia. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

David’s Kitchen: "Lovely, thoughtful restaurant"

Review by: Stephanie B | Source: Trip Advisor
We came to David's after a long day at the elephant sanctuary in search of a little pampering, and David's did not disappoint. They kindly picked us up from our hotel which was very nice and convenient. The ambiance is very peaceful and beautifully decorated. It is apparent that David cares very much about each guest's experience and there is much attention to detail. Cocktails were amazing! The staff are very attentive and I would recommend coming here for a special evening you won't forget. Thank you David for making our last night in Chiang Mai so memorable!

Rachamankha: "Beautiful boutique hotel"

Review by: Randi F | Source: Trip Advisor
An oasis in Chiang Mai. Amid the noisy traffic Rachamankha feels secluded. It’s a small property with personal attention. We accidentally booked two nights separately and then discovered that they were different types of rooms, with the second night being an upgrade from the first. The staff seamlessly moved our luggage to the second room. The thing is, I like both rooms equally. While the second has an absolutely fabulous bed, the first had a much larger shower with enough water pressure to feel like I was being power washed. The second has a sofa but the first had plenty of space to move around and organize our belongings. We stay here again on our last night of the vacation and I don’t know which type of room I booked, nor do I care. I will be pleased regardless.

Tugu Malang: "Just love it"

"I stayed here before as tourist, this time for business. Both times were great! The atmosphere is magic, the restaurant is outstanding, the staff unbeatable. Rooms very authentic and comfortable. The old time odor and grandeur is all over the place, like it! They have a nice pool as well in case you travel with kids."

Tugu Bali: "One of the best hotels I stayed in"

Review by: sarah d | Source: Trip Advisor
This is by far one fo the best hotel I've stayed in. The room we had was comfortable and super spacious. The staff is what makes this hotel, they are very attentive and discreet. The pool is great, the food is delicious, the location is wonderful, right next to the beach and the Old Man's restaurant/beach bar. The massages were good too. I would definitely stay there again.
