The Hue House: "Awesome place"
Amazing views and charming atmosphere that brings you to the ancient Vietnam. Superb Vietnamese food and excellent service. I truly recommend it in Saigon.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "If I could give 6 stars i would"
"We had heard that the Swiss owners of this restaurant, with their Michelin star history had created something special, but this was beyond our high expectations. The setting is romantic and set off on a beautiful lake. The building was redone to hip minimalist beautiful décor. The food was out of this world. Service was impeccable. The owners have even sought out hard to find wines and serve at reasonable prices to fit any budget. The restaurant is not cheap for Myanmar standards, but a third of the price you would pay in Europe or the U.S. for food that is in a word...memorable. The chef and his lovely wife both came to the table and their watchful eye was on every detail. Although Michelin tends to be giving stars for micro-cuisine, this is a finer restaurant than most multi-Michelin star restaurants that we have frequented. You know, that feeling that each course is perfect and you don't want it to end. The only thing sad about this review, is being in Yangon we can't just go back there next week!!! This is a restaurant that you will use as a standard by which to compare others."Muang La Resort: "Relaxing setting, great food and lovely staff"
We spent three days at Muang La resort. We went in the low season so had the resort (10 room resort) to ourselves. We had a river view room (highly recommend) and we could hear the relaxing sounds of the river flowing outside our room. The resort has two elevated hot tubs, using water from the hot natural springs. We enjoyed a Lao massage too. The resort is set on the river, which is constantly used by the local villagers to fish and bathe. We organised a couple of excursions once we had arrived. This was probably easy for us to do as we were the only residents. The food was great. Every night there was a five course set menu based on local Laos cuisine. Breakfasts were great, with tropical fruits, divine home made yoghurt, croissants and scrolls, as well as eggs as you like them. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The village of Muang La is a little difficult to get to but worth the effort. I am happy to recommend Muang La.Tugu Bali: "Fantastic!"
"Left a review on the other entry for this hotel...but again, can't speak highly enough!!!! Most comfortable room and bed we have been in on our month long trip to Bali. The staff was lovely and accommodating and we were delighted by the facilities. Must visit if you are in Canggu!!!"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Heritage and cultural luxury"
"Built around 1840 and now providing public accommodation, this is the luxury with character missing in today's 5 (or more) star hotels. From the old fashioned door key to the huge rooms furnished to transport you back in time, the centre open courtyard with photos of those from the past or the 'day beds' along the courtyard wings to relax in, this is 'what's old is new again'. The bathroom and shower facilities are modern 'western' but still set in the decor of yesteryear. Breakfast à la cart can be a little slow but gives time to relax, enjoy the ambience and enjoy the many self serve offerings. Located in the old town area, further history and the delights of Georgetown are just out the gate"The River Resort: "perfect place for holidays!"
"Very nice place in front of the Mekong. Friendly people in the restaurant, in the whole resort. Romm very quiet, clean. Breakfest and food very good. Beautiful sunset-tour on the Mekong with a guide from the hotel, a drink and snacks. Massage very good!"The Twelve Hotel: "Nice quiet hotel with reception at the top"
A nice hotel located in a quiet residential area of Bangkok. Few rooms (ten, only 6 were open during our visit), junior nice very spacious and bright with views of the pool. The reception is great, either by the owners or other employees, plus help organize our daily outings: tuktuk reservation, restaurant recommendations. Very good breakfast. The hotel is located a bit far to walk to public transport (and almost no sidewalk lend itself to long walks especially in our case with a small child), but some supermarkets and restot good practices within 10 min, and 40 baht (€ 1) a tuktuk takes you to the nearest BTS station or water taxi. We would definitely return if we have the chance to return!MesaStila: "The best place for alternative vacation for the whole family"
This is my first resort to stay with my family and it was a great place. The atmosphere is excellent in a very quite and peaceful location. The resort offers a lot of activities for the whole family and the staff is very great. All of my kids really enjoying this place and they always remember of a great memory of Mesastila.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Recommended place for escapade! Relaxation to the max!!!!"
Staff were very accommodating. Ideal place for relaxation, honeymoon...a different kind of experience...food was great too. Nice interior of rooms. You can see the enchanted place from your room. So romantic. Overall rating, superb!!!The Island Lodge: "personalized attention to detail. Authentic, charming decor. Warm, friendly, catering staff and owners"
In a weekend stay, the owners and staff were able to cater to our vegan meal requests, fully understood our likeness for authentic, natural, adventures and went out of their way to make our weekend special.. And we got to enjoy the first rated spa in our short stay!!
