David’s Kitchen: "Superb food with impeccable service"
"Superb food with impeccable service We just couldn’t stay away from this oasis of top drawer fine dining. The owner and host David Gordon was there to greet us and his other guests nothing is too much trouble and your every wish in designing your particular favourite dishes is followed to the letter. A culinary experience not to be missed."Reverie Siam: "My three days of heaven"
While visiting my son in Chiangmai he decided to take me to visit Pai, where we stayed in this beautiful hotel. I have been very fortunate to have travelled around many parts of the world, staying in many five star hotels, but this hotel has to be up there with the very best. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean comfortable beds, too comfortable that I didn't want to wake up! The shower was very hot and powerful, in fact ***** star. The food was excellent, so much so that we ate every meal there. The staff were first class very attentive. This is a hotel away from the buzz where you will find peace and quiet to enjoy style and comfort.Nimmu House: "The perfect place"
We chose to end in Nimmu House a rather full program of trekking and touring in Ladakh. We couldn't be happier with this choice. Our heads full of memories to process, we were given space, the beautiful apple and apricots orchards, the relaxing terrasse, our own luxury tent, and time, no rush for anything, to digest all we had done so far and also the idea that we would have to leave soon. The old house is beautiful. It is being restored with great attention and respect for locale traditions. The staff is very kind and extremely helpfull and the food is fresh and delicious! The perfect place ...Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Wonderful safari"
"My husband and I had the most magical 2 nights here and absolutely loved everything about it! We had been warned that the Sri Lankan safaris were very different to African ones and so had tempered our expectations, but there was no need as we had the most amazing time and saw so much wildlife. Sajeet, Praneeth and the whole team were exceptionally knowledgeable and a font of fascinating information and we learnt so much. My husband is the bird enthusiast but after 4 drives spotting the most beautiful birds, I felt the start of a new passion! We were incredibly lucky to see some wonderful leopard sitings, made more special and exciting by the fact that we had two drives without seeing any. However those two drives were just as thrilling because of all the other wildlife that we saw - elephants, land monitors, crocodiles, star tortoise, mongoose, monkeys and the most stunning kingfishers, wood peckers, fish owl, fly catchers to name but a few. The tents were surprisingly comfortable and an evening open shower by moonlight was very special. The food was absolutely delicious with good wines and very atmospheric drinks before dinner and the most charming and friendly staff. Couldn't fault it and highly recommend this camp! Huge thanks as well for the wonderful photos taken by Praneeth that Sophie forwarded! Such great photos and so thrilled to have them as iPhones really don't cut with wildlife photography.... Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Bali: "Gorgeous, authentic property"
My boyfriend and I stayed at Tugu for two nights and loved the place. Excellent design and decor - very much authentic, stylish Balinese - with delicious Indonesian food, gorgeous cocktails and first class service. Some great views for the upstairs rooms, but go for the private pool villas downstairs or a room nearer the back of the hotel if you want total peace and quiet. All of the staff were absolutely lovely - so helpful and warm - and we loved the cooking course! Great pool too and lovely spa.Manda De Laos: "Delicious food in romantic setting"
This is a rather special place with a unique atmosphere. Where else would you find yourself sitting by a moonlit lotus pond listening to frogs croaking while enjoying a superb meal? The service was excellent and the food delicious. It's not the cheapest meal you will have in Laos, but an experience definitely well worth paying for and you would pay a great deal more for this quality of food and ambience in the UK.David’s Kitchen: "A ‘must go’ in Chiang Mai"
"My wife and I went here for a celebration night on our honeymoon and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. David's team spared no effort in making this a special night. The menu and wine list are unmatched anywhere with superb service. The food is absolutely amazing and if this was in London customers would be queueing out the door. The restaurant is only a very short taxi ride from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and the premises are a contemporary haven of tranquility. Worth going to Chiang Mai for this wonderful experience alone!"Reverie Siam Pai: "Best couple getaway in Pai"
This could be one of the best kept secret place in Pai. We stayed in a mountain view suite which is very spacious. The hotel is so lovely and the food at the main restaurant is so good that we were really reluctant to go anywhere. A perfect stay!Muang La Lodge: "Très beau petit hôtel en bordure d’un affluent du Mékong et de sources chaudes"
"Very nice small hotel (10 rooms) next to a tributary of the Mekong and hot springs pool and water (enough) hot for locals and hotel guests, 2 small private pools of hot water, 1 beautiful pool with private access to a river island with bars, etc. etc.! Do not miss the excursions in 4x4 in the beautiful mountain wilderness hosting different ethnic groups organized by the hotel with local English speaking guide! The entire staff except 2 Laotian manager. "Tugu Bali: "A true gem"
We stayed at this beautiful and unique hotel two nights and enjoyed every moment. There is much to see with it's great collection of art and well curated furniture. General feeling is very welcoming, easy going and effortless luxury. The room was really our kind of taste: eclectic furniture, natural and nice ocean view. Def coming back with better time!
