Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "A little slice of heaven in bustling Bangkok"
A small hotel providing 2 and 3 bedroom self catering apartments, appropriate for small families. Very friendly staff and very good service. Located close to shopping facilities and the BTS train services.Villa Mathis: "Fantastico"
Davvero consigliata."Tugu Bali: "A Balinese beauty"
From the moment we were collected at the airport our holiday at Hotel Tugu Bali was perfection itself. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, a striking reception and lounge area greet you. When you step outside you are able to stroll through the tranquil and well established grounds full of plants and flowers and listen to the wonderful sounds of the sea and bird song. In addition to this, at every turn you will find a different and beautiful cultural artefact to intrigue you. Our suite, a Rejang suite was just as wonderful, with a sunken bath and spa area, a four poster bed and a wonderful garden and ocean view which provided us with a view of the sunset every evening. There is something magical about the whole place which brings a sense of relaxation and mindfulness. The staff add to the magical moments by their obvious pleasure in ensuring you are well cared for and happy as a guest, the flowers in the room, settings at breakfast and dinner which are personalised and the delicious meals can be eaten anywhere you choose, nothing is too much trouble. A good location adds to the whole experience and a perfect holiday.Reverie Siam: "3rd visit"
We were at the Reverie Siam Resort in November 2014 for the first time, in May 2015 the second time, and now again in October 2015. It is difficult to compare the Reverie Siam Resort with any other of the many hotels in Pai, as this one is so special and different - and it's different to the very good side! The location is great, and so is the environment with a perfect garden and two pools. The real highlight, however, is the Silhouette Bar, it's staff and it's food, and not to forget the wine list which is the most extensive one I have ever seen in Thailand. Although it's only 100 km from our home in Sansai, you drive a felt number of 500 curves, but presently the road is reconstructed, thus in a few months driving there will also be convenient. We will certainly return, hopefully a few more times.....Rachamankha: "A classy sanctuary"
"The Rachamankha gave us the chance to 'step off' from our busy work lives for 5 blissful nights. The setting is quintessentially boutique, with exquisite architecture and design, a chic pool area complete with cushions on lounge chairs, ambient al fresco dining and lots of special places to relax in solitude with a book or cocktail. We stayed in a garden courtyard room which had high ceilings and pared back decor with cool tile flooring and a separate bathroom. The breakfast a la carte options are numerous and tasty, although the quality of the restaurant cooked meals does not quite match the standard set by other aspects of the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. "THE ISLAND LODGE: "The one that the Mekong Delta has been waiting for"
"The big bridge in My Tho opened the island of Thoi Soi to the world 8 years ago. Michel and Francoise has build a sanctuary at the end of this island. This should give the comfort and care to travellers to the Mekong Delta. Owners are very responsive and timely in their email correspondence making pre arranging things very smooth. The Island Lodge can arrange for pick up and drop off in Saigon. The two hour journey is pretty easy and brought us to The Island Lodge in good time. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too difficult. The pool and breakfast are amazing it's almost feels like you are in someone's house as a guest. Be warned the property is isolated and My Tho is accessible by boat or car (both can be arranged with Michel). Ton their in house driver is wonderful and speaks good English. Nice to have a cheerful driver taking us on the linger journeys. The local river, bicycle and floating markets are all activities if you care to leave the property, otherwise we relaxed by the pool and had some wonderful dinners in the main restaurant. Food options are French or Asian with an excellent wine selection. We can't wait to return. "Mie Cafe: "Excellent fashionable fusion cuisine"
Great food with creative and exciting dishes sophisticatedly presented. Perfect if you are fed up with 100% authentic Cambobian food and want to spice it up a bit. Not the best value for money in our opinion but an excellent dining experience.Pindaya Farm House: "Amazing Boutique Hotel"
Such a jewel. Amazing view from restaurant. Great food. Clean rooms. Friendly service. Just as the name suggests. Pls check the photos. Had a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back to again. Bravo!!David’s Kitchen: "Incredible and delicious"
I cannot say enough good things about this restsurant. Everything was perfect from greeting us at the door to the food to the service. We had a double birthday so we went and everyone wished us Happy Birthday, Mr David came to greet and speak to us as he knew we live in Chiang Mai, the food was to die for (definitely order the pumkin soup for starter) and everything was on point. Lovely piano music as well.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "What a Culinary Experience! One of my favorite memories of Yangon"
"During our recent trip to Myanmar, we enjoyed our first luncheon at the newly opened Seeds Restaurant in Yangon. What a great welcome to Yangon! The arrival experience was breathtaking, with a very impressive interior design and a great view over the Inya Lake, and a Lotus Pont right in front of the stunning gardens. The Seeds Restaurant offers a fine dining experience on the highest level, with a very elegant table setup and custom-designed chinaware that perfectly pairs with the food. In fact, we enjoyed our experience so much that we actually came back again after 2 days to dine again at Seeds. I wish to offer a big compliment to the service team, because they offered such attentive and professional service under the guidance of Lucia. And of course, the food offered such a highlight to the whole experience, which was prepared by the award-wining Micheline star Chef Felix and his team. Being a retired hotelier, it was such a delight and a gourmet experience on the highest level. I highly recommend dining here – it is worth every penny for such an excellent experience…one to be remembered!"
