Rachamankha: "A zen oasis in a thriving city"
An remarkable zen experience, carefully designed and beautifully manicured grounds, surprising outside living room niches to relax and reflect, architectural brilliance, breathtaking antiques in every corner, friendly management, comfortable rooms, quiet and peaceful atmosphere, a gorgeous pool, a spectacular library. Only disappointment was the restaurant. We had some difficulty with breakfast service on the first day, but the management corrected that situation by the next day. Location is perfect. Our taxi driver affiliated with the hotel was so extraordinary that we hired him to take us on city tours for 2 days. After a day of running around, the grounds provided immediate tranquility. Would stay there as often as I could return to Chiang Mai.Villa Song Saigon: "Staff eager to please"
"The staff are fantastic - nothing is too much trouble. Boutique hotel with pool open till midnight, complimentary speedboat along Saigon river to city centre is an added bonus. Would recommend Room 201 without hesitation. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Villa Song Saigon: "An Oasis of Calm and Luxury"
My wife, son and I stayed five nights at the Villa Song and it was a FANTASTIC hotel. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. The speed boat to and from Ho chi Minh was a fun and exciting way to get into and out of the city. If I had a complaint, it was that the hotel was so comfortable and relaxing that one felt slightly disinclined to venture into the mayhem of Ho chi Minh! Sitting at breakfast, either in or outdoors, watching the traffic passing on the river are memories I will treasure. If you want a hotel where you are spoilt, relaxed and pampered I STRONGLY recommend the Villa Song.Joannie32: "Wonderfully Relaxing"
My sister and I stayed in Maisons Wat Kor for 3 days in early November. It is a beautiful and tranquil hotel set in a charming village, a short tuk tuk ride away from Battambang. The hotel is an oasis of peace and calm with spacious clean rooms, delicious food and a saltwater pool which was very much appreciated after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel organised trips on the Bamboo train as well as to the Phare Circus, both of which we would highly recommend. All of the staff were wonderful but we would like to say a big thank you to Mr Phadkey who made every effort to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Very highly recommended!Reverie Siam: "Beautiful food"
"I booked this hotel as I saw on trip advisor it had the best restaurant in pai. And the reviews are correct. I had breakfast lunch and dinner here during my stay. Try the meat and cheese board. Heaven if you've been in Asia for a while and are missing diary treats. Great service in the restaurant too. The night we dined they also were playing live music. Disney favourites! Every one was clapping along to the jungle book. So much fun, great ambience in the room. My room was beautiful furnished , spacious with a balcony over looking the pool. I loved the large bathroom with roll top bath. Very cool style. The resort has a very boutique feel, everything looks quality , the design has looks of attention to detail with I enjoyed. Nice that you have a choice of 2 swimming pools one natural and one standard with beautiful views of pai. Great to sit around the pool with a cocktail or fresh juice from the bar. It is as nice as the pictures on the web site which are pretty inviting. "Rachamankha: "Serenity in the city, beatiful interior, outstanding services, love breakfast the most esp in December"
Quality of everything in the hotel are outstanding. The owner and staffs are very dedicated. A real hideaway break that you can find in the city of Chiangmai. Walking distance to weekend night market and close to temple and Oasis SpaLes Maisons Wat Kor: "Paradisiac"
A warm and friendly hotel where you feel good, I occupied a room during a couple of days, the room was spacious and comfortable, the gardens were just amazing and the staff was smiling and thoughtful. I warmly recommend The Maisons Wat KorVilla Mathis: "what a great stay"
"A romantic gataway with an amazing service and an amazing manager. We felt taken care every moment of our stay. Villas are very state full designed. With so many small corners, lounges, pools and cabanas we never felt in a hotel, more like a private Home. liked it a lot and just 10 min from the Buzz. great work guys keep it up."The Apsara Rive Droite: "Excellent boutique hotel"
"Excellent choice for a quiet, rural experience. Nice garden with a good swimming pool. Large well designed rooms in rustic Lao-colonial way and with a large balcony/terrace. Service is great and personal. Breakfast is with fresh fruits, coffee, fresh juice, wonderful warm breads and croissants, and a choice of different eggs. Transport to the other side is quite easy. Free boat service for drop-off and pick-up thar worked flawlessly during our week. There is a bamboo-bridge a few hundred meters away (5000 Kip / 0.65 USD). You have to scale/climb a few flight of stairs that are a bit rickety. Free bicycles to cross on a small bridge a bit further away. Tuktuk to town is 50 KKip / 6 USD. Watch the monks alms ceremony by the temple a few hundred meters to the right from the reception ar 6:15 am. Almost no tourists, so respect this holy cermony with minimal intrusion. Take the road to the left where you reach a temple with a wonderful view over the river. Only problem we had was the WiFi, but we got a separate modem that worked really well."Arumdalu: "A Treasure wrapped in natural beauty"
"My business partner and I were on our third trip to Belitung and wanted to travel down to the south side to experience the Arumdalu resort that we kept hearing about. We were greeted by Hendrik in the morning, their driver, who was prompt and very helpful in getting us down to the resort in just over an hour. My highlights of the trip was experiencing the Beach, Food, and Culture. The beach is expansive, white, and calming. The private cove allows you to truly relax and enjoy the cooler ocean breezes. You don't want to miss climbing the large granite rock on the right side of the beach to experience some great views, snap some selfies, and just be amazed at the beauty. The food was a gastronomical delight. We had the privilege of staying at the resort when the owners were present and Albert took special care in sharing with us the story of how they created each menu item, along with the specially crafted plates that are unique to each main dish. Finally, we enjoyed learning more about the culture...from hearing stories of how Belitong got it's name (Bali yang dipotong), seeing Batik be made, to the diverse flowers, fruits, and vegetables they are growing in the area. The rooms were well constructed and furnished charmingly. The plunge pool was refreshing and make sure you check out their short nature hike through the jungle on their property. The staff were always willing to help, but were never overbearing. We look forward to returning when the cultural village is up and running."
