Tugu Lombok: "Rest in paradise"
"We staid there for 3nights and we loved it The place is beautiful very different from other 5star hotels. They respect the tradition and the Indonesian history and try to adjust to the hotel decoration. It's a beautiful and calm place. We were lucky the hotel was not crowded. It was low season and we had the hotel almost to ourselves. Very nice staff. The beach is the best we got in Indonesia with warm water but a lot of corals (you should were protection shoes) They have 2 restaurants at the hotel There are 2 big pools. The only bad thing is the prays in the middle of the night. They are Muslims and they pray in the middle of the night and wake you up with the speakers. You have transportation service, excursions to gili, spa, kayaks, paddel board, cooking lessons, snorkeling.. Our breakfast was included and we could have it at any time of the day.. So it was more of a lunch.. And the food is not expensive. It is a romantic place to go and spend a few days. One of my favorite hotel in the world! Stayed March 2017"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "A Quality Experience in all Respects"
"Experience on safari in other parts of the world has taught us that you generally get what you pay for, and so we booked at the top end for two nights in Yala, with Noel Rodrigo’s highly respected operation. Noel, Cecile and the rest of the team were welcoming, gracious and knowledgeable hosts, and highly professional in every aspect of the business. Meals were a treat both for the food (the Sri Lankan dinner being better than the western barbecue one, and lunches stunning) and conversation with our hosts and fellow guests. Pre-dinner drinks were likewise great, and the staff were so good at getting everyone engaged in the conversations, whether they were young kids, reticent teenagers, or adults. Our tents were carefully set-up and very comfortable, and the public lounge area was a fine place to sit and read. Our safari vehicles were also well-set-up. But let’s face it, one visits Yala to see animals and birds. Spotted deer and birds aside, wildlife in Yala is not plentiful in the sense that it is on the plains of the big African game parks; but having to work a little harder to spot game makes the experience more rewarding in many ways. The first of our four game drives provided us with two excellent leopard sightings. The next morning we were lucky enough to see sloth bear (mother and cub). Add in the elephant, crocodiles, water buffalo, barking deer, sambar deer, mongoose – plus other animal species and all manner of birds – seen over the four game drives, and we left Yala well-satisfied. We would recommend a minimum two night stay, both to provide a good chance of seeing a wide range of birds and animals and to settle into the rhythm of camp life."Misool Eco Resort: "FABULOUS"
I can't say enough about this place or the people that run it and work there. The waters are AMAZING for snorklers. Everything about this place was perfect! It was an experience of a life time. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Elegant hotel on the Saigon River"
"We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and it is really special. Right on the Saigon River and in District 2 of Ho Chin Minh. The service was really good and the location is perfect. You can catch the hotel boat shuttle directly to the main district 1 if required. The area around the hotel is quiet and we found some really nice restaurants. This hotel is number one on trip advisor for a reason. "Mie Cafe: "Excellent fashionable fusion cuisine"
Great food with creative and exciting dishes sophisticatedly presented. Perfect if you are fed up with 100% authentic Cambobian food and want to spice it up a bit. Not the best value for money in our opinion but an excellent dining experience.Arumdalu: "Family Vacation"
"Overall, I think the resort was spot on. It had everything a family who enjoys traveling needs. Massive rooms that can fit up to around 5 people, though you need to have additional beds that can be provided by the resort. I can say this as I travelled with a huge family of 23. Not only the rooms, the culinary served there was also spectacular though it takes a while to prepare. It has it's own flavor and really has it's speciality for each meal. Though the food looks relatively small, it really changes your mind when you finish it as it makes your stomach full. The activities are also very enjoyable and most of them can be done by everyone. The resort provides kayaks, that can be used in the secluded beach, there are bicycles that can be used to ride along the road heading to a spot to hike, Batu Baginda. Though the route can be challenging for some people, once you reach the spot you can really enjoy the view and the whole trip was worth it. It takes around 2 hours to get there and back. (these activities needs an extra cost) It was late December when me and my family went there so luckily, they gave us a great new year experience by the beach. They had tents prepared for us and there were music to accompany us. But the best part of the event were the fireworks, they were spectacular as they were endless and massive."Sanak Retreat Bali: "Marvellous !"
"One would never imagine to find such a beautiful and peaceful place in the ""middle of nowhere"". Surrounded by rice fields, this hotel composed of individual bungalows is like paradise on earth ! Staff members are so kind (they called us because we had let the car headlights on), professional and careful, the restaurant proposes high quality food (seared tuna tataki is awesome) and taking breakfast in front of the pool is a priviledge !"Reverie Siam: "Wonderful and fairy tale like oases just outside PAI city center"
reverie Siam lies just ouside Pai, the distance is perfect. Quit, but close to the village. You enter a place with a relaxing atmosphere and wonderful designed rooms/villa's. There are two big (salt) swimming pools. Everything is thought of in this resort. The fruit snacks when you are at the pool, a thai telephone to loan when you are going to town and the list goes on. The WIFI connection is fast (10mb) The a la cart breakfast is very nice, a wide variety of choices. What is best, is the staff. Never We encountered staff in thailand who are so engaged with the wellbeing of the resort en their guests. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 9 nights, that says enough.Sanak Retreat Bali: "Paradise"
We spent (only) one night in this paradise. Everything is just perfect, and worth the price they ask for it. Compared to other hotel we stayed in, we were particularly impressed by the attention they put un every single detail (closing your curtains in the room while you are having dinner for instance :-)). We would recommend it.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "South India trip- part of year long trip with young son"
This is really a gem of a place, the cottages are tastefully done, the bathroom is superb, the service impeccable and the food and attention to detail is excellent. The pool is lovely and my son and our friends really enjoyed our stay here. For sure a must visit and I am certainly going back again sometime soon.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
