Tugu Lombok: "Never been anywhere like this before"
My wife and I loved it. It was like being welcomed back to the family home that I never grew up in. The delicious food, the quiet pools, the sunrise over the beach. I write from Villa 2 dreading having to check out in 4 hours. We spent three beautiful nights here. Our daughter was treated like royalty, given a crown and sceptre made from leaves. The pools with green tiles are beautiful and luxurious and as we floated together in the tranquil surroundings all thoughts about the rest of the world disappeared. We ate mahi mahi and lobster on a bamboo bed lit by candles and decorated with ketupat. If you can come here, please do. You will remember it forever.KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Transit in Heaven"
"We spent only one night for transit in Khwan Beach, we selected the resort due its advert being first Gallery resort in Thailand, we were curious and we enjoyed over much that short stay next to beach with a manicured and excellent staff service , breakfast included was super great served in the villa, amazing privacy and yet a nice overview of the Ocean (and koh Phangan Island ) 50 meters away. Sure we will come back n stay longer... congratulation for the wholeover amazing decoration "Mathis Retreat: "Perfect, Peaceful Stay in Ubud"
The Kenanga hotel was so beautiful and peaceful. I went there with a friend of mine over the holidays, and the staff was very accommodating. The lovely woman who owns the hotel was very sweet as well, and gave us great recommendations for good restaurants in the area. The hotel is located a little bit outside of Ubud, but close enough that it is only a short, inexpensive taxi from the main town center. There is also a free shuttle from the hotel to and from the center of town during the day. The infinity pool at the hotel overlooks the rice paddies, and the rooms were beautiful and very clean. The wifi is a little spotty in the rooms, but works great in the lobby, restaurant, and by the pool. I would definitely visit this hotel again!Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Sublime😍😍😍"
RIEN A redire !!!! Juste PARFAIT Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Heritage Suites Hotel: "Far from the tourist crowd"
We had a Bungalow Suite in this lovely hotel, a very roomy option. This is a small hotel that definitely lives up to the information on the web site. The hotel is in a residential area many blocks away from the tourist hype, which made it quite relaxing. The staff was extremely attentive to our every need. While it is possible to take a tuk tuk to any area restaurant, the hotel's kitchen is excellent, so a nice alternative after a tiring day of visiting sites. (Note that the better restaurants in Siem Reap require reservations, which the hotel staff were happy to make.) The whole Siem Reap area operates on U.S. dollars, and the hotel had a ready supply of the small bills needed for many purchases.Rachamankha: "Beautiful retreat!"
This hotel is a beautifully designed tranquil retreat situated within the old city walls of Chaing Mai. When I say beautifully designed, I mean exceptional to the extent that you can sit outside in the court yard and feel inspired by the tranquil beauty of the traditional dark wood roof, the columns and the traditional furniture designs. The only aspects which very mildly let the hotel down is the ceiling of the bathroom is white cork tiles similar to an office toilet from the 1990s. Also the shower head is about 10 years out of date, still works, it just hasn't got the the spread of any modern shower head. These are minuscule issues to point out but it's due to the rest of the hotel being so beautiful. If they did iron out these small aspects & revamp the rooms a little, then this hotel would be in line with others that cost 4 times the price. Tranquil, Beautiful & Relaxing. Escapism. A*****SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Restaurant Jewel in Yangon, Myanmar"
After 3 visits for dinner I am still amazed that this fine dining restaurant is so close to us in Yangon. My husband and I will surely access it from the Lake Inya side in our kayaks soon, but coming by car works well too. The owners are Swiss and the standards of food and service are impeccable. The food is international, utilizing local ingredients to offer a blend of Burmese and European specialities. Their tasting menus, with or without wine, are a gastronomic joy and as a pescaterian I am thrilled by the choices of fish entries and fresh produce. Sitting by the Lake with a cocktail at sunset is very romantic so this restaurant is the best choice for couples. We even saw a wedding party there recently. Definitely worth the effort to get there!Chakrabongse Villas: "Relaxing days in bangkok"
We stayed four days in the amazing riverside villa. Starting with a very friendly and warm welcome by the manager Ms.Atom, our stay was as good as we had expected. An oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city of Bangkok. You will feel like prince and princess in former times, to whom a perfect breakfast and dinner will be served in a beautiful location. The whole staff did their very best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you very much Atom and all the others, it was a great start for our journey and we will definitly come back!!Yandabo Home: "merveilleux etablissement"
"personnel charmant , souriant et attentionné situation des plus originales et agréable réalisation spacieuse et luxueuse avec chambres extraordinairement belles, bien conçues et épurées petit bémol quant a l éclairage minimaliste de la salle de bain en résumé, un vrai régal"Glenburn Tea Estate: "A lovely memory"
We will be talking about this wonderful tea estate and welcoming hotel for a very long time. The attention to one's every need, the delicious food, the delightful staff, the superb setting, the tea tour and treks are just some of the attractions of Glenburn. But don't take our words for it just go and experience it yourself ...
