David’s Kitchen: "Brilliant international food in Chiang Mai with a personal touch"

"Just as all the other reviews say, the food is FANTASTIC - and, I'm quite particular when it comes to food and wine. Highly recommend the Tuna Niciose and the Pumpkin Soup. There's a great vibe in the restaurant, and that comes from the fact that a lot of love goes into running it - this comes through in the atmosphere and the food so clearly. Thanks for a lovely night, David and team - and all the best in your beautiful new location in Chiang Mai!"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A piece of paradise"

"I discovered a wild place, where nature and silence seem like paradise. Large and confortable rooms so well integrated in the nature, without hurting it. My stay was so enjoyable : place is very clean, confortable, and staff so attentive and friendly. I enjoyed relaxation, water, fine food and wines, all these brought together by the kind and competent managers Anna and Valentin, dedicated to their customers. I will return for sure, temptation is not a sin !"

Yandabo Home: "A tranquil stopover"

"Stayed one night to break our ferry journey from Bagan to Mandalay and it was an unexpected highlight! The rooms and facilities were spacious and luxurious but it was the staff that helped to make this stop over such a delight. Thanks especially to Linn Khine Phyo who arranged our trip over the river to the water buffalo village and accompanied us to the pottery village next door, nothing was too much trouble for her. We would highly recommend Yandabo Home if you are considering breaking the ferry trip."

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Sublime😍😍😍"

"Après 3jours de trek entre Kalaw et Inle le luxe d'un endroit comme celui ci mérite tous les sacrifices ...! Je n'avais pas le budget pour un hôtel comme celui ci mais je savais que l'emplacement avais un prix et ça les vaut puisque cette reconstruction de maison intha sur pilotis et juste sublime !!! Loin de tous les touristes !!! J'adore L'équipe et au petit soin pour vous de quoi vous faire passé un moment inoubliable ,j'en ai pleuré en partant ...! De la literie en passant par le Resto ,la boutique , la réintroduction des burmise cat et surtout le concept d'une vrai action pour le changement dans le bon sens avec ses étudiant en hôtellerie et leur mobilisation pour une nature intacte ...! "I have been in countless hotels of all styles. Tugu made it to the top of my preferred stays list impressing me not for a day or two, but for 20 days of the perfect treatment and incredible structure. They have a touch of kindness and detail everyday! Little fresh flowers in your room. Complimentary local fruits. Impeccable cleanliness. Gorgeous traditional decoration. Little message every night. You have a spa, with different types of treatment available. A temple, business convention center, 24 h international and local restaurant/ bar with more than 150 wines, bakery, event center, swimming pool, boutique, antiques shop, all surrounded by a collection of the finest Dutch and Indonesian artifacts. 49 rooms served by 100 happy smiley team. You will feel like a king. And they all speak good English! Go if: you like to stay in a place that you can feel like home. With kind helpful people. And different options for relaxation and meals. In a very traditional unique atmosphere. Don't go if: you are a lean freak and prefer to stay in an international chain with no personal treatment. Attention: you can ask for a tour in the hotel. For free! Visiting (and maybe staying) in the presidential suit is pure entertainment. Congratulations to all staff, but special thanks to Rachel, Richard, Ratna, Daniel, John, Aris, Wahyu, Handy and all the girls from the front desk. Never change!"

Manda De Laos: "Quaint and charming"

"If you go here make sure you go for lunch or before the sun sets because the place is beautiful and at night it's lost The food is amazing and lovely taste of local food and the service is 5 star I loved this place, the setting the food the atmosphere. Everything!!!"

Tugu Malang: "Service, style, and sarapan can’t get any better!"

"Amazing hospitality experience at Tugu Malang! Once checking in, it felt like family. And the hotel staff did a better job of remembering my name than any other place I've ever stayed. Was sad to leave. Hotel has great combo of modernity and style. Fantastic three-course fresh and healthy breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed the suite; the historical paintings led us to do some internet research and learn more about the colonial history. Was a delightful finish to leave with free coffee and a complimentary trip to the train station. Will be back!"

Reverie Siam: "A wonderful escape"

We stayed 2 nights in the family villa and absolutely loved it. The thought and style put into the room was obvious from the cool little pieces or art to the location of plenty of power points and towel racks. Staff was fantastic and the included breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Also the little things, like a cell phone for our use while in town and the free shuttle service from the property to town were greatly appreciated and showed us a new level of customer service. We stayed during low season so the rate was very reasonable, if you can afford it, the value for money here is as good as I've ever had!

Villa Song Saigon: "The best boutique hotel in Ho Chi Min"

if you're interested in walking out your door in to the action & like cookie cutter oder hotels then this is not for you... but if you appreciate quiet, elegant designed properties right on the river then this is the place! Great accommodating staff makes it my go to place whenever I travel to Ho Chi Min City! Hands down the best hotel there & I've styes in all the other so called best ones.
