Muang La Lodge: "A real Gem"
"We stayed three days and two nights in this slice of paradise. The setting is terrific and the service and attention to detail was even better. The fusion of French and Lao cuisine was sensational and the presentation a delight for the eye. The staff to a person clearly has been well trained and look for opportunities to please. We happen to be visiting a day after my birthday and of course they surprised us with an evening of lighting candle lanterns to send off good blessings into the clear evening sky. Truly a place to revisit and restore. Bravo on all fronts. "Jing’s Residence: "beautiful boutique hotel in the antique city of pingyao"
"you enter a magic environment when you are a guest of Jing's residence. the careful manager is a prefect host and will take care of you and your needings. the furniture in the rooms is excellent, absolutely clean, splendid the food in the Chinese traditional restaurant where you can get also continental food in the old city of pingyao an old looking hotel five stars"Tugu Bali: "Traditional old world Balinese style hotel"
"Drive through traditional villages and rice fields. Only 30 minutes from Seminyak. It is a lovely drive and sometimes people want to see the rice fields without spending a day driving to Ubud. Arrive at Tugu, lovely old world traditional hotel for a nice lunch. A couple of hours of your time well spent. Relaxing, peaceful and educational. "Villa Song Saigon: "Compact Asian Luxury.. Absolutely fantastic hotel"
"We booked the same day we were to arrive given our initial hesitation to have Vietnam as destination for our long weekend escapade. We were amazed at the efficiency by which we were accommodated. The suites were booked for the night but a smaller room was instead alloted for us. It was topnotch from the pristine furnitures and fixtures to the vibrant yet impressively balanced art works. The following day we were transferred to the freed up art villa suite with an astonishing den overlooking the saigon river. The breakfast was eat all you can ala carte and the boutique hotel again exceeded our expectations. Personally this is where we had our best ever coffee experience and you can feel there was passion behind the creation of the food they serve. The hotel helped us book with the river sunset cruise. With the weather getting in the way of seeing the sunset, our guide ""Luke"" took us instead to the floating Pagoda and to a coconut drop off point where we had fresh young coconut juice that tastes even more heavenly than the ones we have in our very own beloved Philippines. This was the highlight of the vietnamese cultural education aspect of our trip having been immersed with our superbly fluent local guide who's versed with of course the country's current issues and its vibrant history. The attentive hot staff were promptly alert and each was attentively catering to our every tiny need. If you're after a compact yet very privately intimate vietnamese atmosphere fused with a strong french structural vibe, then you'd certainly feel like you struck gold with Villa Song. It heartfully made our vietnam trip an unforgettable success."Reverie Siam: "Lovely food and great prices"
Highly reviewed restaurant. Silhouette at the hotel we thought we would go for a nice date night we had four drinks a started and 2 mains all for 1000 THB approx £25. Great prices for the food and atmosphere and service.David’s Kitchen: "The BEST pumpkin soap EVER"
"After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, I made a reservation online for celebrating my sister's birthday. It is simple and convenient. That night was fully booked, David greeted me and my sisters on self, then the receptionist brought us to the table immediately. It was so sweet that a greeting card with our names and a birthday card was prepared. We ordered three dinner set and oysters. The serving speed was just right. There are three types of bread, which you can refill. Started with The Salmon Gravlax and Oysters and then the Pumpkin soup. The Pumpkin soup is definitely a highlight!! It has rich pumpkin taste and creamy. The fried sweet potato ball was perfectly matched with the soup. I was surprised with the soup, which was the BEST pumpkin soup EVER! After that, a lemon sorbet was served to clean up the aftertaste. It was so considerate. The main dishes are also tasty, while, the Paris mash is really great. It has a strong taste of truffles. LOVE it. The team sang a birthday song to my sister before the desserts were served, highly recommended the Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. David was nice, he kept chatting with the guests for the whole night. The little details showed his caring and respect. I feel so warm. Just wanna thanks the whole DK team, giving us a perfect night! If you have any doubts, just don't hesitate to make an online reservation and try it yourself."Slow Villas and Spa: "Beautiful place on a dream island"
Slow Gili Air is a true blissful place. From check-in tot check-out, the staff makes sure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay without interrupting your privacy. The villas are spacious, with a kitchen, and a huge private garden, but the best part is the private pool and the outdoor bathroom! From the resort it's just a short walk to the beaches in the west and north of the island, and the staff gave us a handy map to explore Gili Air. Slow has bicycles for rent, though the quality of those aren't that great. But since Gili Air has many sandy paths and it's a pretty small island, you won't be needing a bicycle anyway. All in all, Slow is highly recommended and we'd love to come back.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise for our family vacation in Thailand"
"We stayed at the Golden Buddha in April for 3 nights and my only regret is we weren't there for our entire 2 week vacation. In planning our trip I was non-committal to any one place concerned we would be stuck somewhere that didn't turn out as we expected, but had I only known. Our family of 5, kids aged 13, 11 and 9, stayed in the Baan Lucy which was beachfront and the perfect distance to the clubhouse and the bay. The house was lovely but when we come back, which we are definitely doing, I may look at one of the larger houses that had a bit more sitting/lounging area. We loved staying on the beach with the sunset and the breeze, but the back houses looked lovely as well. The arrival is something our family will never forget. Golden Buddha is not easy to get to and after a 3 hour drive from Phuket and a 90 minute ride on a pretty rough long tail, we pulled into paradise. The bay is great for kids of all ages as well as the grown ups. Pizza bar, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, swimming. It is a great way to spend the day. The beach is also beautiful and swimming is very nice- soft soft sand and great shelling. The food is over the top- very local and authentic but also sophisticated. There are a ton of families at the resort, for good reason, but could possibly be overwhelming for a couple on their honeymoon, although the clubhouse has an upstairs that was more dedicated to adults. Really a top notch resort in an unbelievable location. Almost hate sharing as it seems like a hidden gem in Thailand. Such a great experience after spending time in Bangkok, Railay Beach and Phuket. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Mathis Retreat: "Great views, great staff, great stay"
"Spent 5 nights here with our two kids (aged 2.5 and 9months) and thoroughly recommend it. Spacious rooms, beautiful views overlooking the rice fields, great pool, good food. Far enough away from downtown Ubud, but close enough to get there when needed. Staff couldn't have been nicer, and were more than happy to whisk our kids away to play - allowing us to relax at the end of meals. Thoroughly recommended. "David’s Kitchen: "Feel the careness"
If you looking for special dinner and full services here you are!!! Their food so amazing. I had cod fish such a incredible delicious with red wine sauce just perfact !
