Villa Song Saigon: "You will never want to leave"

Review by: Panda2010 | Source: Trip Advisor
My family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights in May. It was the last 2 nights of a 3 week trip around Vietnam so i wanted to stay somewhere special. This hotel is quite expensive by Vietnam standards, but it certainly is a standout in terms of quality. The rooms are so beautiful, the food was the best hotel food we had anywhere in vietnam and I loved taking the boat to the city. We spent a lot of time in the pool and the fitness centre had everything you need. i would definitely recommend this hotel. If only we had stayed longer.

Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Typical Khmer House in a lush garden"

Review by: Claudia C | Source: Trip Advisor
"It took a bit of time to book a place in Battambang. We ended up at Maison Wat Kor, which is in a village outside Battambang. We liked our choice, since the town is pretty noisy and not too beautiful, while the village was very nice. Maison Wat Kor is great and the rooms are in typical khmer villas, very spacious, with high ceilings and dark wood furnitures. We had a lotus room upstairs, so we also had a very nice terrace with a couple of chairs, a table and a great view on the garden. The pool was great as well. After a day out at 35 degrees it was so relaxing and refreshing to take a swim. We had dinner at the hotel one night, they have daily menus that they can adapt in case you're vegetarian (as I am) and dinner was good. All the activities we did have been organised through the hotel. You might need a tuk tuk every time you go out, so please try to stick with the same driver. It's a great income for them, in particular when it's not peak season. Our driver was great and it was also very funny and nice; it took us to eat in places where he would have had lunch, he told us about his life and more in general life in Cambodia, it was very interesting to hear from someone local who doesn't need to sell you a perfect image of a country. His english was also great, which is not common in Cambodia. We went to the Circus twice in Battambang and I'd recommend to everyone to do so. The concept behind the Circus school is great, the shows are really entertaining and it's a great way to spend the night. There are 3 different shows every week, and there is a total of 5 shows per week: check with the hotel for the show and the dates as the other info we had from travel guides and internet were not up-to-date. We spent 3 nights in Battambang, maybe 2 nights would have been enough. My husband also got a massage at the hotel and it is the one he loved the most during our trip. As almost everywhere in Cambodia, everyone was extremely polite and kind, the staff would really do anything to please you and they were always talking to us using our names. I found pretty sweet the picture of Angelina and Brad on display at the reception and outside the room they stayed in...I guess the only thing that we didn't find great was the transfer option to Sihanoukville, which the hotel initially offered us for $180 (vans and bus are much cheaper, but unfortunately my husband's back was not 100% and we opted for private transfers this time); in town we found the same transfer for $120, so either negotiate or go to the town, as this is the current price for a transfer. Maison Wat Kor is a calm oasis with the kindest staff and the best atmosphere. You're going to love it. Room Tip: We loved our Lotus Room close to the pool (upstairs so we got the terrace as well)"

The Twelve Hotel: "Out of the ordinary"

Review by: Lisa S | Source: Trip Advisor
Very unusual and stylish hotel. Rarely have we stayed in a hotel that was both so clean and comfortable and at the same time had so much charm. Room incredibly beautiful, breakfast very good, all very friendly there. The Twelve Hotel will remain in our memories and we definitely would choose again to stay there when we are in Bangkok. For us, absolutely perfect!

Talabgaon Castle: "A countryside oasis"

Review by: SKCSC | Source: Trip Advisor
The resort is about an hour out of Jaipur in truly rustic rural surroundings. The castle has been very tastefully restored and the entire property is very well maintained. Being a small resort, it is idea as a very peaceful getaway. The food is very good.

Cuca: "Exceptional!"

Review by: zsuki | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was easily ranked one of, if not, the best meals we've had in Bali. The property sits on a beautiful idyllic garden surrounded by coconut trees. It has an open concept kitchen and I diners sat by the kitchen counter. Service was excellent, in fact, more than excellent. So much attention to details without being intrusive. Food was an explosion of Flavours. I'm not going to list what we ate but everything we had was amazing. It's the first time I went to a restaurant and not take pics of the food as pics will not justify the experience. Like it says in the menu, come with an open mind and an empty stomach! Totally worth it!"

Tugu Lombok: "A slice of tropical paradise"

Review by: CuriousCitizenYYZ | Source: Trip Advisor
"In a 3-week adventure around Bali and Lombok, the Tugu Lombok was our absolute favourite place that we stayed, hands down. The resort is stunning, the grounds are impeccable, the rooms are extraordinarily beautiful. The beach is white sand and turquoise waters. Every meal we ate (in both restaurants) was absolutely delicious. The breakfast spread is fantastic (with a particularly amazing fruit plate) and the assortment of snorkelling equipment, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards is a great way to pass afternoons on the water. Things are laid out so that you never feel crowded. But by far the best thing about Tugu Lombok is the staff. Everyone, from Sharon, the GM, and Henry, her right hand man, to the spectacular restaurant staff, spa team, housekeeping staff, and security, were the epitome of hospitality. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and polite, and everything they do is heartfelt and done with a smile. They anticipated our every need before we even expressed them and made us feel enormously welcome during our entire stay. We can't recommend this spot enough to anyone travelling to Lombok (and even if you're not, you might want to change your plans to include the Tugu). One small note on rooms - we had read through previous TripAdvisor reviews and decided to take the overwhelmingly consistent advice to splurge on a Bhagavat Gita suite and we were completely blown away by the beauty and design of these extraordinary villas. 4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Prestine and Serene"

Review by: vanezky | Source: Trip Advisor
One may never fully appreciate the beauty and calm splendor of nature until you have been to one. And 4 rivers floating resort definitely is one such place nestled in nature. Staff and tour guides are friendly and always attentive. Food offerings are a mix of local and international delicacies, almost surely to please even the most discriminate of palates. Overall experience is unique and serenely magical! Can't wait to be back.

tugu bali: "High quality hotel with strong historical identity"

Review by: yvesballe | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We enjoyed very much Tugu Hotel for the beginning of our honeymoon with my wife, through a three nights stay. The particularity of Tugu Hotel is that it is also a kind of museum with valuable and well designed pieces of furniture, decorations and paintings. Rooms are like small houses with an internal private courtyard and a swimming pool. The garden is also well designed with nice statues coming from ages. The staff is nice: everyone in the hotel knew our names since the beginning for instance. "

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Fabulous Neeleshwar"

Review by: absolutelybaz | Source: Trip Advisor
"A truly wonderful peaceful place. Everything is beautifully done. The food is fabulous, and all the staff are sweet, helpful and smiley. Rooms are very comfortable and are situated in the gardens or facing the sea. You can totally relax. Sitting on the beach with your toes in the sand eating lovely grilled fish, is truly magical."

The Island Lodge: "The one that the Mekong Delta has been waiting for"

Review by: WorldCosmonaut | Source: Trip Advisor
The big bridge in My Tho opened the island of Thoi Soi to the world 8 years ago. Michel and Francoise has build a sanctuary at the end of this island. This should give the comfort and care to travellers to the Mekong Delta. Owners are very responsive and timely in their email correspondence making pre arranging things very smooth. The Island Lodge can arrange for pick up and drop off in Saigon. The two hour journey is pretty easy and brought us to The Island Lodge in good time. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too difficult. The pool and breakfast are amazing it's almost feels like you are in someone's house as a guest. Be warned the property is isolated and My Tho is accessible by boat or car (both can be arranged with Michel). Ton their in house driver is wonderful and speaks good English. Nice to have a cheerful driver taking us on the linger journeys. The local river, bicycle and floating markets are all activities if you care to leave the property, otherwise we relaxed by the pool and had some wonderful dinners in the main restaurant. Food options are French or Asian with an excellent wine selection. We can't wait to return.
