Sandat Glamping Tents: "Serene start to honeymoon"
"We spent the first three nights of our honeymoon here and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived to our personal tent with the plunge pool filled with petals, to the beautiful candles lit to guide your way to dinner and the incredible food! It is very much off grid, and of course there are the occasional jungle sounds and a few lizards to keep you company, but that is what makes it such an unusual place. We have glamped in other parts of the world and this definitely had the edge on luxury, and the least bugs!! The site is nestled unobtrusively among rice fields and feels very blended wth the local area. Although slightly out of the hustle and bustle of ubud, the free shuttle is excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Thank you for a lovely Stay!"Locavore: "Another amazing culinary experience in the best restaurant in Bali"
I had another amazing meal, 7 courses, with loads and loads of surprising, creative, interesting and very tasty morsels both at the beginning of the meal and around the dessert course. Presentation is a marvel. As usual I had the "carnivore option," but my two friends opted for the "plant-based option." All of us were pleased beyond expectations. I love oak-otak and Locavore's version, with the duck egg aioli (I guess that is what I would call it) was perhaps the star of my meal, though the old favorite--Into the Sawah--of course was delicious. The special Locavore tomato "soup" was, as always, spectacular. And i love the "freebie" cassava roti too. All seven courses were. My friends raved about their veg tasting menu. And I must admit I was a bit disappointed that I did not choice to have the Banana Blossom. This must become, like Into the Sawah, a main stay of the Locavore team. Service was super friendly and professional. Cannot recommend Locavore highly enough.Samanea Beach Resort: "Best of the Rest"
"I had lived in Phnom Penh for a couple of years and visited Kep many times. It took a vacation trip a year later for me to run upon Samanea Beach. It's like a park when you first see it, spacious uncluttered and green, green, green. The Bungalows are the nicest I'd stayed in in years, huge and tastefully decorated. I meant to stay for three nights and was still there two weeks later. Low key, super pool, great food, excellent staff and above all, incredibly beautiful. Room Tip: Check out the wifi strength before you choose your Bungalow. It's generally good but some Bunga..."Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Priceless views and amazing service"
"You will feel like you have entered a different world altogether when you arrive at Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge. Firstly, you are treated to the most amazing views, which you never tire of even after spending days in Nepal. The Annapurna range in all its glory can be truly appreciate from the lodge, and you are not to miss the stunning picture opportunity of the mountain reflection on the infinity pool. The lodge itself is very comfortable and relaxing, you can do as much or as little as you like. The staff are incredibly attentive - each and every one of them. Marcus, the resort MD is so warm and friendly and so knowledgeable when it comes to Nepal, and most other things that it makes for a very wonderful stay all around. I would love to return soon, next time perhaps with the entire family when it is winter and there is good excuse to sit in the common area around the fire :) Best, Pramila"The Island Lodge: "Paradise on the banks of the mighty Mekong"
We had 24 hours at Island Lodge in April and from the moment we were collected at the main road in the Lodge's golf buggy and whisked down the narrow lane to the hotel, we knew we had found something very special. Michel and Francoise have gone to enormous trouble to make sure that every detail is perfect. The staff are charming courteous and discreet. The rooms are large, cool and ours had a terrific balcony overlooking the infinity pool and the Mekong River beyond. We had a very pleasant afternoon boat tour round Unicorn Island before settling down on the terrasse with an ice cold beer to watch the evening light on the river and the boats of every size and shape. Swimming early in the morning in the large 24 m pool with the Mekong just a few metres away was surreal.Misool Eco Resort: "Unforgettable holiday"
Misool is an amazing lodge in gorgeous Raja Ampat. not only is it gorgeous, clean and luxurious: it has done tremendous work to preserve the manta rays, sharks and other marine life of raja Ampat and Indonesia at large. Misool' said conservation work is crucial to protecting the astounding (and increasingly rare) biodiversity that makes Raja Ampat such an outstanding diving and snorkeling destination. I would absolutely return, and would not consider staying at any other lodge as I believe we must support conservation work. Service is likewise impeccable, including amazing massages.MesaStila: "Number 1, 2 and 3 on my list…."
"Breathtaking. Wonderful room with wonderful views. Great staff. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. Not too many guests, which we did not mind. Mother and sister went for a couple of treatments at the spa and were impressed. Brother and I had a 06.30 trailrun with our guide Augus, probably the best morning of our holiday!"Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful colonial boutique hotel"
Stayed here for business and then my husband joined. In district 2 away from the hub bub but still close to everything. Walking distance to great food and a short ride to the center. The hotel is on the river and you will start your day with a lovely made to order breakfast outside with a view. The hotel anticipates your every need and is beautiful inside and out. Would definitely stay again.
A recommander vivement."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Paradise!"
A bit of a trek to get there, but well worth it. We would certainly like to go back. Luxurious tents, everything was beautifuly clean. People so welcoming, very friendly and good fun. Food was excellent and served in a lovely restaurant. Woke up every morning to see the river, the forest behind and know we were in for a great day. Trips daily if you want to go. Really recomment the waterfall and kayaking around the mangroves.
