Misool Eco Resort: "Almost Unbelievable"
Spent a very happy week here after a previous week in Northern Raja Ampat. The diving here is the best we have ever experienced with seemingly endless coral gardens and abundant fish. The lagoon on which the resort was built houses many juvenile fish and sharks and can be snorkeled directly from your cabin. Cabins are excellent and the whole resort beautiful but what makes it is the staff - friendly, attentive and passionate about what they do ... the daily fresh biscuits aren't bad either. Magic Mountain is the best dive site... I could dive it every day and never be bored.Villa Song Saigon: "Amazing boutique hotel"
An amazing boutique hotel besides the Saigon river. Normal rooms are a little small but the suites are amazing. My spouse and I stayed in a suite with balcony and we truely loved it. Everything is just great. All staff are most pleasant and Freddie at the terrace restaurant made sure we were well taken care of. For my birthday, flowers with a personal card was delivered to our suite; how attentive!. A private boat takes you from the hotel to the city (district 1) and at specified times, the boat will bring you back. We stayed 4 nights at this wonderful hotel and we enjoyed every minute of it!Amata Lanna: "Wonderul, intimate, getaway!"
Gorgeous space. Very well decorated. The rooms are AMAZING, with wonderful furnishings. Very beautiful space that feels like a tropical resort even though you're in the middle of a big city! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful!Inle Princess Resort: "How disappointing"
"We travelled by car to the resort because our boat transfer was cancelled due to poor weather. We finally arrived at the resort down a dirt track and parked under a lean to. We were greeted by a young gentleman who said he would take us to our room. I had to ask if we were in the right place as it looked nothing like the photos on the net. He assured me it was. As we progressed, it soon became obvious that we had come in the back entrance. Our feelings went from total disappointment to one of elation. Check in was simple and efficient. Our room was clean and spacious. I could comment that there was not enough light in the room, but the intimacy it provides is all part of the charm of the place. The staff were most helpful in all areas and their genuine happiness could not be faulted. Like most of Myanmar at this stage, the SMALL imperfections in most places when compared with other 5star establishments in the rest of the world are what makes its charm. The breakfast offering is most probably a bit average but adequate. We would happily stay again and have no problem recommending it for any other couple."Talabgaon Castle: "Great heritage resort"
We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our heritage room was tastefully decorated in a tradional style and made good use of the original arched architecture, quite charming. The monogrammed bedlinen and fluffy white towels were beautiful, and not found elsewhere in our four weeks in India. The gardens and pool area were beautifully maintained, and a great place to relax and dine. Service was sometimes slow, but it is good to see that locals are being trained to provide it. The food when it came was excellent. In all, a wonderful place to chill out, and great value.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Quiet calm by the Sea"
"What a perfect place to unwind. Located by the beach in beautiful natural gardens. Delicious seafood sitting under palm trees and candlelight. Eagles soar above and herons wade in the nearby lagoon. The spa is professionally run in its on quiet oasis. The rooms in individual bungalows have private bathrooms with partly open skies so we shares ours with a very charming obliging bright green frog who hopped off under the palm tree when we entered! The Lotus Boat which is part of this hotel is situated on the backwaters 10 minutes away. We spent two nights aboard in wonderful luxury (with air conditioning in the bedroom) and a staff of 4 who looked after every request."Inle Princess Resort: "Wow"
The only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer. Thank you for an amazing visit. What a great way to celebrate our son's birthday. I can honestly say the two nights we spent at the Inle Princess R sort were the best two nights sleep I have had for a long, long time. Bliss, beauty and serenity. Highly recommended!misool: "Beyond expectations"
"My husband and I got certified in scuba to come here, and it was worth everything. Facilities were wonderful considering mission of resort. If I had vacation time and money, I would bring my three kids there tomorrow. House reef was such a lovely snorkel opportunity. Food was delicious, as long as one can let go of Western thoughts. I personally found nudibranchs, scorpion fish, and a frog fish (fist bump!) and saw mandarin fish on dusk dive. For the bird addicts, we saw wild sulfur crested cockatoos on the resort island. I will budget to get here again asap with my kids. Dive master took great care of us... (Hugs to Kiikii, despite my great faith that he was Benny). Wait staff was always ready with an eager selamat pagi for early breakfast. Getting here is difficult, but As noted above, I would come back in a heartbeat. Shout out to Mark, Sue and Calvin. I cried when I left... "MesaStila: "Tranquility"
"Tranquil and relaxing this retreat has everything you need for a break from the ordinary. My husband and I just returned from a four fabulous nights at MesaStila, its low season so not very many other guests but all the facilities were available and we were kindly upgraded to an Arum Villa. A large breakfast each morning filled us till tea time, both of which are included in the room price. Dinners were a very good selection of both asian and western foods but i'd highly recommend sticking with the Javanese dishes that the chef, Arya Kusumaatmaja, prepares so excellently. each day has an assortment of activities that are included such as , yoga, coffee plantation tour, martial arts, etc. and there are many optional tours you can book. The staff were all very friendly and professional, the village tour we took with one of the staff( I'm sorry I don't have his name to hand) was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and brought us to several small cottage industries that are well 'off the beaten track'. I've already recommended this place to my expat friends who travel extensively throughout asia and I look forward to going back again someday "Sanak Retreat Bali: "Splendide"
A conseiller!Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
