Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Refreshing surprise"

Review by: Lune14 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I spent only a few hours in this hotel, having spent the day on a long tour of the Mekong and leaving quite early the morning after. I was the only person in the tour to stay in this hotel, thanks to my travel agent, and can't describe how happy I was to get here extremely tired and find this gem. What was so good? A friendly reception, a quaint room with a separate sitting area, a nice shower, and a prime location overlooking the river promenade. Lots of locals walking in the promenade at night and the nearby restaurants and cafes, but it wont be noisy when you go to sleep as it quiets down. I had a very good night sleep here. In line with the French owners, this hotel has a great rooftop restaurant serving both French and local cuisine. After 2 weeks of purely local food Was happy to enjoy some familiar french dishes. A la carte breakfast was also great, and thank God there was real orange juice! When you do this tour you hardly ever stay in the city, as early next morning you go to the floating markets (a good experience, but nothing special). I wish I could have stayed here longer or maybe another night. This hotel was on oasis!"

Villa Song Saigon: "Compact Asian Luxury.. Absolutely fantastic hotel"

Review by: Nolan A | Source: Trip Advisor
"We booked the same day we were to arrive given our initial hesitation to have Vietnam as destination for our long weekend escapade. We were amazed at the efficiency by which we were accommodated. The suites were booked for the night but a smaller room was instead alloted for us. It was topnotch from the pristine furnitures and fixtures to the vibrant yet impressively balanced art works. The following day we were transferred to the freed up art villa suite with an astonishing den overlooking the saigon river. The breakfast was eat all you can ala carte and the boutique hotel again exceeded our expectations. Personally this is where we had our best ever coffee experience and you can feel there was passion behind the creation of the food they serve. The hotel helped us book with the river sunset cruise. With the weather getting in the way of seeing the sunset, our guide ""Luke"" took us instead to the floating Pagoda and to a coconut drop off point where we had fresh young coconut juice that tastes even more heavenly than the ones we have in our very own beloved Philippines. This was the highlight of the vietnamese cultural education aspect of our trip having been immersed with our superbly fluent local guide who's versed with of course the country's current issues and its vibrant history. The attentive hot staff were promptly alert and each was attentively catering to our every tiny need. If you're after a compact yet very privately intimate vietnamese atmosphere fused with a strong french structural vibe, then you'd certainly feel like you struck gold with Villa Song. It heartfully made our vietnam trip an unforgettable success."

Misool Eco Resort: "Umweltfreundliche, entlegene Taucherlodge in paradiesischer Umgebung"

Review by: robinwood2 | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Rachamankha: "Top notch"

Review by: Hstsbm | Source: Trip Advisor
"Was hesitant at first to stay there as the competition was strong from resort chains; i dont regret it at all! Rooms were furnished very well, amenities in the room were great, staff were friendly, the bed is a bit hard, but after i mentioned it to the reception, it was fixed. It was a superb experience as no kids are there, the pool was big and clean, you get your peace of mind. Landscaping was a highlight as theuly utilised nature to their benefit. Its located in the middle of the city and close to almost all locations you want to visit in Chiang Mai. We booked the hotel driver who was a perfect tour guide and took us around. The food menu for breakfast was not extensive, nevertheless, you can tell that the quality of the food was great and the presentation was even better. Highly recommend the place if youre going to relax and have a break from life in general, well done Rachamanka"

Talabgaon Castle: "Simply Wonderful"

Review by: Tonya J | Source: Trip Advisor
"We arrived late in the evening and still enjoyed a very warm welcome from staff, The music, food, and ambiance were a very special treat. The Castle is simply beautiful. I awoke for sunrise, with light shining through the many stain glassed windows that adorned my bedroom. I wandered about the property, enjoying the light as it rose above the Castle. A staff member wished me a warm good morning, and took time to show me more about the Castle. A very special treat! Talabgaon Castle is a very tranquil place with attentive staff ... it's a great place to escape the business of over places in India. Breakfast was home cooked - welcomed and tasty. I also enjoyed a cup of coffee in my room prior to heading out to explore. I enjoyed finding the many fresh flower potpourri vessels, as well as a few peacock sitings! It was a visit to remember, for sure. I only wish we could have stayed for at least another day. The drive to the Castle may seem a bit lengthy, but in my opinion it's well worth it. Take time to enjoy the India experience along the way! The journey ... and the destination ... is the reward. Enjoy!!!"

LES MAISONS D’ITAC: "A small but fantastic resort"

Review by: MrUppsala | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We spent a long weekend in the bamboo house at this small but beautiful resort. Great experience. You are sleeping 3 meters from the beach! You hear the waves and all kinds of sounds in the night, very relaxing. The atmosphere at the place is great. It is sort of at the end of the road, so there is no restaurants or things to do within walking distance. But the staff and the manager Bryan are very serviceminded and will help you with anything you want to do or go to. We recommend you to eat all meals at the resort and then there's no need to go anywhere else. Just stay at the resort and enjoy it. We would love to come back some day! "

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxing break after siem Reap"

Review by: LesleyG857 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Lovely break after the heat of the temples. About 4-5 hours trip by car from Phnom Penh but worth the journey From the welcome drink on arrival to the staff coming to the jetty to wave us goodbye when we left it was a great few days. Lovely staff and great food. The tents are very large and very well fitted out. (Nothing like the tents I remember from girl guiding)We had intended to go to the waterfall but it was so relaxing sitting on our deck watching the river we did not bother but everyone else really enjoyed the trip. We had a massage which was very reasonable, ask for the gentle version!!! The staff were lovely my husband has mobility problems and everyone was really helpful If you visit Cambodia and have the time visit Four Rivers you will have a great time"

VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Elegant hotel on the Saigon River"

Review by: Craig071 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and it is really special. Right on the Saigon River and in District 2 of Ho Chin Minh. The service was really good and the location is perfect. You can catch the hotel boat shuttle directly to the main district 1 if required. The area around the hotel is quiet and we found some really nice restaurants. This hotel is number one on trip advisor for a reason. "

Tugu Malang: "Luxury and services are beyond expectation"

Review by: AdFiaSasongko | Source: Trip Advisor
"I was there only for a day and wish to come back soon. The room was impecable, perfect with a touch of personal welcome in a card. Our room facing the front hotel but not noisy at all. The bedsheet was super clean and it was a standard five hotel services and facility. The amenities was not much but enough. Small pool but convenient enough for children. Good selection of breakfast with some a la carte menu. The hospitality is unbelievably super friendly. A typical warm small size five star hotel that you would never experience in a big busy hotel. This hotel was beautiful in a an outdated way, and you may find it quite spooky at the back part, but for some, it may be the point of attraction. "
