Glenburn Tea Estate: "Wonderful place"
"There’s only one downside - a very rough road to get to it. However, it’s only the final 30 minutes of the trip and trust me, it’s worth it! Large, clean and very comfortable bedrooms, amazing views of the hills of Darjeeling, the tea estates and the snow-capped Himalayas, quality breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner and, in between relaxing, some great things to do. A walk down to the river or up to a viewpoint led to cold towels and drinks, followed by amazing picnics. There are cars to take you everywhere if you don’t want to walk. Highlight for us was spending time with the lovely Nilima, a local guide, who was knowledgeable, happy to talk about her life and the local community, and great company as well. Highly recommended."Villa Song Saigon: "the very best"
We stayed for two nights recently ... and wow. Two nights were not enough. This is one of the very best places I have stayed, period. The facilities and service are top-notch. Not to mention the up-and-coming coolness of the environs, and the experience of taking the free evening boat shuttle blazing down the Saigon River after a long hot day downtown. This is an experience not to be missed in HCMC.Supanniga Cruise: "Dinner Cruise"

"For a long weekend we traveled to Malang and Mt. Bromo. Hotel Tugu was very well maintained, but the superb service from absolutely the best Indonesian staff. All the meals were presented artfully with an excellent balance of spices. We attended the once monthly cultural dinner with a Central Javanese tale told with music and dance. It was a great experience. The couples 4 hour spa and romantic dinner was a great way to relax on our final full day in paradise. Couple you must stay here if you visit Malang! "Satri House: "Absolute oasis of calm and tranquility"
After the hustle of Hanoi we flew into Luang Prabang and spent 3 nights at the Satri House Hotel, it was superb. In easy walking distance from the town centre, fantastic beautifully furnished room and lovely grounds with charming pool. The staff were also first class --- I can't think of a single criticism. We have travelled in Indochina before and use trip advisor regularly but this is the first time I have ben moved to write a review ---it was excellent.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "4 Safari’s in 2 daya"
Had a great time on safari at Noel Rodrigo's leopard safari tour - we did 2 morning and 2 evening safaris and stayed in their glamping accommodation complete with shower and proper toilet. When we were not off road chasing down wildlife we enjoyed the amazing home cooked local food at the campsite. Saw lots of animals but our favourite was ending up in the middle of a herd of elephants - amazing experience! The staff were all lovely and knowledgeable - highly recommend it!Inle Princess Resort: "Beautiful relaxing and serene experience"
The resort is built in traditional mynamar style with lots of teak everywhere! We had a garden cottage which looked out on to a lovely large pond covered in water lilies. The cottage itself was beautifully and tastefully furnished, if a little quirky! Being winter, the inbuilt chimena is lit in the evening if wanted. There is also a/c and ceiling fan. The bathroom is well appointed and the cottage also boasts an outdoor shower. Outside are sunloungers, armchairs and a table on a deck. Be aware, there is no TV or music system in the cottage. Occasionally you will hear a gecko or bird but other than that, we could only hear silence. There is a large restaurant serving both Mynamar and western dishes. In my opinion, the food is good but not outstanding. The hotel has a pool but it looked snd my toe told me, it was way too cold to venture in... I'm talking winter here!!! The resort is a perfect place from which to go exploring by long tail boat on Lake Inle. There are many interesting villages and pagodas in their 100s to see and, of course, the obligatory market selling anything and everything. We spent 3 nights here which i reckon is enough.Tugu Bali: "Relax in a luxurious, romantic setting"
"We were looking for a more traditional and authentic Balinese experience and Hotel Tugu Bali exceeded our expectations by far. The hotel overlooking Canggu beach is built from temple remains and furnished with the largest collection of Balinese antiques and artworks. The grounds were beautiful and immaculate with large, amazing, comfortable rooms. The food was beautiful at the fine-dining restaurants (this included a Japanese Restaurant, Ji). Each afternoon complimentary 'High-tea' with local and western delicacies was provided which we never missed! The staff were excellent - so friendly, helpful and willing to assist in any way. This was exemplified by the Manager, Jenny Bellora. The close proximity of the surf kept my husband very happy each day and I enjoyed the relaxing time spent by the pool. Canggu itself is a new and developing area in Bali and the hotel was within walking distance to lovely shops, restaurants, boutiques and a local market. Room Tip: Rejang Suite (bedroom and verandah). Each evening from the verandah we enjoyed watching the sunset a..."Tugu Bali: "Hidden paradise"
Tugu Bali is a magical place, with fabulous staff and great food. Breakfast is exquisite! Everything makes you feel as a guest in a large warm welcoming house and not like a standard hotel guest. This was the second time my wife and i spent a few days and we will gladly return to enjoy the peaceful rest and the nice massages. A place to bring your loved ones!Maisons Wat Kor: "Our home away from home"
Discreetly tucked away from the town centre this was a peaceful oasis to retreat to after being out all day. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable scattered across 2 cambodian style wooden houses with large balconies on which to sip your evening beverages (ask for a room upstairs). A lovely pool to wash away the day's excursions. I would return in a heartbeat.
