This resort is everything and more of what you could possibly expect for a great holiday. Contrary to most other lake resort on Inle, it is very quiet and feels very private. Rooms were amazing and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great Spa in a nice setting is a plus as well.Rachamankha: "Lovely setting, great service, amazing food"
"Me and my fiance spent two nights here and it was great. The staff was wonderful, very attentive and happy to help with anything you need. The setting was beautiful and felt authentically Thai, my only complaint would be that the shower was very utilitarian, just a head and in a stucco rectangular room which made leg shaving difficult. Also, there were some small bugs in the shower. Though the shower did add to the authenticity of the hotel. But the real highlight here was the food. When we first arrived we ordered a ton and each dish was more delish than the last, the menu has Thai, Indian, European, and American options so were not expecting it to be particularly good because the menu was so diverse but every thing was presented beautifully and was gourmet. There were also an impressive number of vegetarian options and a vegetarian portion of the menu. Skip the spa. There are much cheaper options and the service was unremarkable. Rachamankha is Thai serenity at it finest."Mudanwan Villa: "養生休憩之旅"
"沒想過在台灣也可以有這麼靜謐的享受! 在villa裡就能享受室內、室外兩種溫泉。此外也可以在湖畔邊發呆、釣魚或是沈靜在牡丹書房裡。 Stayed June 2016, traveled with family"Manda De Laos: "Special"
This restaurant is very special, it has charm, charisma, but most importantly fantastic food. The setting is amazing and the staff are friendly and efficient. This restaurant is a must if you are in Luang Prabang.Satri House: "Charme fou, service d’exception"
A great restaurant by the Inya Lake. Owner Lucia is a great host and fine dining expert."
Watch the Inya Lake sunset over drinks and fine dining later. Romantic setting with World Class Chef cuisine indoor or outdoor by the lawn & garden.Tugu Malang: "One of the best"
not just in Malang, but period...speaking of period, it is a period hotel, filled with antiques, interesting objets d'arte, good food in the resto (and wonderful service), a great gift and antique shop and and wonderful food shop with local delicacies. I last visited 2 years ago and almost forgot just how special the place is, including the service (John, thank you once again!), how comfortable the rooms are (they are idiosyncratic) and how altogether delightful a stay here is. It's a 5 minute walk from the bird mkt and plant stalls and that's a real plus if that's of any interest to you at all.The River Resort: "Peaceful Retreat facing the Mekong"
"Only 30mn from Pakse airport... right on the Mekong with a small island in the river in front of the resort. Huge land with trees, their own rice fields and gardens all around. It's a refill of oxygen to stay there. Excellent staff and friendly service under the supervision of Ton, the GM. I recommend to wake up early and admire the sunrise on the mekong from your balcony. Great restaurant also, with very generous portions Definitely recommended for people looking for a quiet and green environment and who enjoying activities in nature: walks, bike, boat trips..."RACHAMANKHA: "Absolute delight"
"Unfortunately, memory fails of the date of our visit, which was prior to said date, but not of the enchantment of the hotel which persists. After the taxi ride from the airport through the streets of Chang Mai, we were swept into a land of storybook imagination. The creation of an atmosphere of Asian quiet elegance settled softly around us. My fondest memory, and one I would fervently like to repeat, is having a massage on the open air second floor of the pool pavilion. A gentle breeze kissed the curtains and birds sang while I floated away to another dimension. The restaurant is very good, allowing one to remain within the dream. "Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
