Jing’s Residence: "Personal"
"It's a 5 star all around. Excellent: accommodations; staff; and food. Central location. Everything worth seeing is walkable. Accommodations induced pickup and delivery at the rail station. Provided good information on what to see and how best to see. Language communication no problem. A must stop on a China visit. Stayed March 2016, traveled as a couple "SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "excellent food"
The first time to visit this fine dining of French cuisine and had excellent food and wine and cheese. It is a bit noisy as there is a party at one end . They said since it is raining they had no other place to accommodate them. We must say this is the best french food in the city so far. When the rain is over it will be a nice experience to sit outside on the bank of Inya Lake. Only if they have better music and curtains and drapes to absorb the noise, we will be delighted to enjoy a fine dining.Labyrinth: "Singapore hawker taste in a restaurant"
We had a lovely experience with the chef tasting and wine paring menu. We enjoyed the taste of singapore hawker food in chef's Han dishes, hidden in a corner at esplanade. Interior is cosy with traces of local touch. Would recommend bringing my foreign friends who are visiting to try the dishes in a setting like this.MesaStila: "Tranquility"
"Tranquil and relaxing this retreat has everything you need for a break from the ordinary. My husband and I just returned from a four fabulous nights at MesaStila, its low season so not very many other guests but all the facilities were available and we were kindly upgraded to an Arum Villa. A large breakfast each morning filled us till tea time, both of which are included in the room price. Dinners were a very good selection of both asian and western foods but i'd highly recommend sticking with the Javanese dishes that the chef, Arya Kusumaatmaja, prepares so excellently. each day has an assortment of activities that are included such as , yoga, coffee plantation tour, martial arts, etc. and there are many optional tours you can book. The staff were all very friendly and professional, the village tour we took with one of the staff( I'm sorry I don't have his name to hand) was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and brought us to several small cottage industries that are well 'off the beaten track'. I've already recommended this place to my expat friends who travel extensively throughout asia and I look forward to going back again someday "Tugu Bali: "Stay at the Tugu Hotel Bali"
"I stayed at the Tugu Hotel with one of my friends on my first visit to Bali. Such a beautiful place with breathtaking spacious rooms with a private plunge pool. The beach is in walking distance just a couple of meters away where you can go for your first surf lession. You are able to enjoy an all day breakfast a la card menu from anywhere you wish on the hotel property. The staff is incredibly caring and friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Every Thursday you can enjoy a traditional indonesian dance performance, while eating delicous local food and after enjoying some tasty cocktails on the rooftop bar during happy hour. The spa offers great valued massages and beauty treatments for everyones needs. If you have the chance to try one of the local cooking classes, you should not pass on this opportunity. It is fun, you learn a lot about local herbs and spices and you get to eat everything afterwards. I can not wait to return on my next visit. Thanks Tugu"Rachamankha: "Beautiful, elegant hotel with amazing, friendly staff"
One of my best hotel experiences ever, and I travel a lot for work and pleasure. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made sure that everything was perfect for us. This small hotel has a very unique, authentic feel to it. I believe it only has about 26 rooms, so it has a small, elegant character. After spending several weeks site-seeing around Thailand, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Some highlights were the pool, which was never crowded and the hallways and sitting area at night which had amazing incense burning. The professional pictures of the hotel don't do it justiceLes Maisons Wat Kor: "Maison Wat Kor – Peaceful, beautiful, welcoming"
This is a small, simple hotel, where the emphasis is on the setting, the lake, the garden, the service rather than in-room facilities. The rooms are quite simple, but perfectly comfortable, with all the facilities you reasonably need, and mostly look over a wonderful little lake with waterlilies and all kinds of flowers. There is a small restaurant serving simple but beautifully prepared food, and offering three set breakfasts - all very well judged. The most notable thing, however, is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - they really make you feel as if you were in your own home. We cannot recommend if highly enough - we really didn't want to leave!Maison Polanka: "Perfect relaxation"
Maison Polanka is one of the most beautiful hotels we have visited. The Khmer house was like a second home, a bit removed from the rest of the hotel, lovingly decorated and extremely comfortable and relaxing. The best feature is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, nothing is too much and every wish or question is dealt with immediately. The location is a bit outside the main part of Siem Reap but there is a great restaurant within easy walking distance. Transport is easily organised via the hotel but just walking outside would probably also enable one to catch a remork within minutes. Tours and transport might be cheaper when organised elsewhere but for us convenience was most important and we thought the prices offered by the hotel were very reasonable indeed. Highly, highly recommended.Satri House: "Wonderful place"
We been there during Valentines period. We got very fantastic rooms. Staffs are very nice & friendly. The hotel very peaceful and romantic. An excellent experience. You can use a free bikes to visit the city. The best valentine time ever. Thank you all the team again. Well doneAmata Lanna: "Hidden Gem!"
We have enjoyed our stay at Amata Lanna! Small amount of guests allows for a peaceful and relaxing experience. Hotel is clean and inviting! Rooms are impressive with old teak wood. Breakfast offers an al a carte menu and the eggs are delicious! Location is a short walk from the Night Market and about 15-20 minute walk to the Weekend Market. If you like to feel away from hustle and bustle, this is a good choice for you!
