Tugu Bali: "Can’t keep the secret"
"My wife and daughters spent a few days at the Tugu in 2015 and could not wait to return again, this time with me. They were right to be so positive. The hotel lives up to all expectations with lovely traditional Balinese style rooms with many novel and attractive features. The exclusive hotel garden provides direct access to the beach and uninterrupted views of the sea and the stunning sunsets. A very short walk along the beach leads to some friendly and pleasant beach bars serving a range of food and drinks. A good tip would be to plan a visit soon as the Canggu area is developing quite quickly as more people discover this lovely section of the west coast. Finally, a word about the staff at Tugu. A very special group of people who work very hard to ensure that the guests have a perfect stay. All in all a very high recommendation for those who do not want to stay in large and impersonal hotels in the more well known Bali tourist areas. "Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Refreshing surprise"
"I spent only a few hours in this hotel, having spent the day on a long tour of the Mekong and leaving quite early the morning after. I was the only person in the tour to stay in this hotel, thanks to my travel agent, and can't describe how happy I was to get here extremely tired and find this gem. What was so good? A friendly reception, a quaint room with a separate sitting area, a nice shower, and a prime location overlooking the river promenade. Lots of locals walking in the promenade at night and the nearby restaurants and cafes, but it wont be noisy when you go to sleep as it quiets down. I had a very good night sleep here. In line with the French owners, this hotel has a great rooftop restaurant serving both French and local cuisine. After 2 weeks of purely local food Was happy to enjoy some familiar french dishes. A la carte breakfast was also great, and thank God there was real orange juice! When you do this tour you hardly ever stay in the city, as early next morning you go to the floating markets (a good experience, but nothing special). I wish I could have stayed here longer or maybe another night. This hotel was on oasis!"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Pure Serenity"
When you are done with the temples in Siem Reap or the noisy city life of Phnom Penh this is the perfect place to relax for 2-3 days. There is nothing bad to say about 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. Great staff, fantastic general manager, delicious food, beautiful rooms and pure peace in a plastic free environment. You will love it. It takes time to get there but it’s worth the trip.Chakrabongse Villas: "MAGIC"
"If you want to see one of the magical side of Bankok, in front of the famous Canal and famous city hot spots, you will find a secret garden with beautiful Villas: the Chakrabongse Villas. Still owned by a member of the Royal family, you can definitely meet elegance, peace, magic and luxury charme with a perfect service. Moreover, is not too expensive compared to other famous Hotel chains nearby.. i definitely recommend to choose it and to dine there with such an incredible view! I will come back for sure."Jing’s Residence: "Grande atmosfera con attenzione alla tradizione"
Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise on earth"
We've been here two times as a family with two children, now 8 and 14 and we all talk about this place as the world's best and most beautiful place. Cozy authentic cabins, sumptuous bathrooms, a lovely quiet setting, great island, super restaurant, possibility of yoga with the island as the views of all sides, super super service and help with everything. One can go on trips, but even the kids did not miss anything, even days just went with walks on the island and be grateful to have been allowed to see and be so unspoilt and beautiful place. Think really the place belongs to rarities.Tugu Lombok: "A cut above the rest, unique, ultimately relaxing, a 5 star hideaway"
You won't find anywhere quite like it. Private beach, amazing breakfast, dinner - try the rendang and a cocktail before of course. There are no intrusive package deal staff insisting you plan your itinerary for the whole stay or any set times to do anything in fact which is fantastic and makes you relax immediately. The handpicked artifacts and unique design of the hotel make you feel like you're staying in a very cool uncle's private home rather than a resort. The staff are friendly and respectful. If you are lucky enough to be looked after by Ibu Evi you're sure to have a fabulous stay.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Escape to this floating paradise"
"First the location on the wide rivers is simply to dream about. You can swim from your luxury tent or watch the boats the birds or the sky. The lodge is staffed by gentle people who attend to every wish. The food is delicious. I would put it high on the list of adventures in Cambodia. Loved the sunset cruise and waterfall excursion. Room Tip: All the tents look straight over the river"Villa Song Saigon: "A gem in HCMC"
Wow! What can I say. This hotel is testament to the power of social media and Trip Advisor. A perfect place to stay in HCMC that I probably would otherwise never have known about to book. The hotel was previously the home of a wealthy local family and has been converted into a boutique hotel and renovated. It has the charm of Raffles, has one of my favourite architectures (French colonial), has a perfect location right on the river and offers all modern facilities. They served my favorite breakfast every day (bircher museli and eggs benedict) and the bircher was trendily served in its component parts so I could create my perfect cereal. Access to a private boat to get to the centre of the city seemed extravagant and for my children (aged 4, 7 and 10) was like an extra excursion that they looked forward to every day. A true gem and highly recommended!Satri House: "Quiet very stylish place with excellent breakfast under new competent management"
"The place is a ""total work of art"" - the traditional building- the impressive collection of precious regional artifacts . We felt very relaxed in a wonderful secluded and quiet atmosphere- yet with one of the hotels bicycles or also by feet very close to the center of Luang Prabang or Mekong river site. The personal was very friendly and helpful -they even followed our taxi as we had forgotten something when leaving. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"
