INLE PRINCESS RESORT: "what a wonderful place"
"The Hotel is Magic. We were picked up by a boat and slowly brought into this paradise. The room was fantastic, the Food and Drinks to match. We were so happy there that we decided to Skip a few temples to be able to enjoy this resort. The sunset on the terrace with a drink is fabulous. "Cuca: "Best meal I’ve had in Bali"
"這位廚師的手藝讓我不得不打個卡紀錄。口感味道層次都抓的剛剛好,有才華的廚師。雖然擺盤soso但完全得到歪嘴雞認證 One of the most splendid meal I've ever tasted since Budapest's Onyx and Dubai's Ossiano. I will definitely come again and recommend all my foodie friends to try. Very talented Spanish chef. If I must have to pick one flaw, that would be the setting of the dishes."Tugu Malang: "Geweldig hotel"
"Wat een prachtig sfeervol hotel met veel antieke beelden en meubelen. Is eigenlijk ook soort museum. Heerlijk gegeten in 't restaurant aan het zwembad met tropische beplanting. Grote sfeervolle kamer, koloniale stijl. Heerlijke massage gehad. Goed gelegen."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Good couple of nights"
We spent two lovely nights there. The location is stunning and the tents are very well set up with aircon, comfy beds and a great shower. The menu is short but well prpepared and we really enjoyed our kayaking expedition. It takes quite a while to get there but definitely worth a couple of nights for something memorable and different.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Heavenly eco-resort at the end of the world on a dream island"
We were absolutely sensational Baan Mangon! Best location, sensationally beautiful 28 beach villas, all of which include private individuals, which are rented from the hotel. The clubhouse / restaurant and reception with shop are like old colonial villas from Indochina with many antiques. One beach is completely deserted and miles long, the other in a child-friendly lagoon. At low tide you can walk in far into paddling in flight with a kayak in the Mangrovenflüsschen and watch monkeys. On this beach it has the pizza hut and lounge chairs with umbrellas. So I do not have to eat pizza in Thailand (but they are great!), I ordered a Thai Pèicknick in the restaurant and have it delivered to the scooter. The whole resort is simply sensational, a dream, absolutely amazing breathtakingly beautiful! All eating organic, much planted himself, every day four new starters and main dishes fresh. Perfect!Glenburn Tea Estate: "Fabulous place"
"There’s only one downside - a very rough road to get to it. However, it’s only the final 30 minutes of the trip and trust me, it’s worth it! Large, clean and very comfortable bedrooms, amazing views of the hills of Darjeeling, the tea estates and the snow-capped Himalayas, quality breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner and, in between relaxing, some great things to do. A walk down to the river or up to a viewpoint led to cold towels and drinks, followed by amazing picnics. There are cars to take you everywhere if you don’t want to walk. Highlight for us was spending time with the lovely Nimila, a local guide, who was knowledgeable, happy to talk about her life and the local community, and great company as well. Highly recommended."Tugu Bali: "The Secret Retreat!"
"This is our 2nd stay at Tugu. We enjoyed it so much we couldn't resist another stay. Although it is a little more expensive the Tugu ""offer"" is unique. You can lie in your own private space overlooking the sea without being annoyed by hawkers and just watch the surfers, or lie by the pool in privacy. The perfect getaway. We were fortunate enough to experience the cultural evening which presented us with 3 dances - so amazing and professional - a totally memorable experience. We used the hotel driver to take us to Seminyak on a couple of occasions - he was polite, courteous and perfect in every way. Thank you Tugu - your staff our amazing...well done Jenny. Good luck with the Living Wall construction, we look forward to seeing it in the future."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Stunning"
"We were quite surprised to one minute being surrounded by urban India then suddenly in this idyllic small resort type hotel on the Coast of the Arabian Sea. Fabulous clean beach, perfect facilities, Yoga Room, Spa, 2 restaurants our favourite being right in the beach and large infinity pool. The accommodation is self contained little cottages. Just perfect. "Tugu Lombok: "Magical, Quirky and Friendly"
"I stayed at Hotel Tugu Lombok with my two sons in one of the Ampenen Villas. I had dined here in the past which had 'wetted' my appetite to stay and explore the resort more as it had looked so interesting and unique. I certainly wasn't disappointed. From arrival in the reconstructed Rumah Ampenan (19th century Chinese traders house), to the Bale Kokok Pletok (open air dining area), Lara Djonggrang Bar and temple inspired Spa, the whole place is full of interesting stories, mystique and quirkiness which give it a vibe like no other place I've stayed before and definitely set it apart from other larger resorts and ""chain"" hotels. Our villa was spacious even with three beds in it, refreshingly cool and spotlessly clean. We had so many welcome flowers and a personal note, which just endeared the place to us even more. Every day we were surprised with a new pet (of the towling variety, thanks to Jaelani one of the super friendly staff). While I appreciate it was low season, there were not many guests and so we felt like we were getting extra special attention - all the staff knew our names, which made you feel instantly safe and comfortable. We were also given a personal guided tour of the complex by Ellie, which as specified, was filled with stories and tales of Ancient Lombok, Temples, Princesses, Gods and immortal beings - facinating to understand the inspiration for the environment which we were enjoying. As there are not many dining options close to Hotel Tugu (a couple of very basic local warungs about 1km away), we ended up dining at the hotel for all meals, which did add up a bit (especially with the ++), but the quality of the food was superb with a wide choice of local and western foods, all of which tasted delicious. Even with taxes, the food was still good value compared to what we would normally pay in Australia for the same quality. We were at the hotel for three nights and dined in three different locations - the Bale Kokok Pletok, the Gedong Gandrung (hall of love - with my two sons!!) and the beach - all fantastic experiences. I would recommend doing a bike ride around the local area on the hotel's bikes (we did ours late afternoon to avoid the heat). Jaelani offered to escort us which was helpful and informative. Another worthwhile thing to do is get up early and stroll along the beach to enjoy the sunrise over Rinjani, the myriad of sea life exposed at low tide and the fishermen heading off for the day. We also used the hotel's kayaks to paddle around and over the bay (looking at amazing sea life below, including turtles) and stand up paddle boards - perfect for use on the clear blue, calm waters of the Sire peninsula. I dont think there's any doubt that I will come back to this magical place again - there is nothing I could fault and much to recommend. Room Tip: We were given a tour of several villas - they all looked wonderful."Muang La Lodge: "Halte de rêve au bord de la Muang La"
exotic garden at the end of the world, spacious rooms on stilts, steamy baths in hot spring water in high towers alongside the trees, open-air restaurant overlooking the river Muang La, braziers to foot tables to soften the freshness evening and allow to comfortably enjoy the original and delicious dishes that succeed, sky lanterns illuminating the night, taking all the worries to the stars, in short, the middle of a wonderful trip through Laos, have a dream, further embellished by the warm availability of Mathilde and kind words of welcome Raphael manuscripts guests.
