"Recently I visited this beautiful tranquil place to check for my clients as a new off-beat place to keep in itinerary or not. It is good quite place for long stays, have beautiful pool, good service, very good food, rooms are clean and nice. A beautiful village, to have walk on village street and evening tea in the town with villagers gossip centre could be the highlight of your trip to this village. Love to go again someday...!!! THE ISLAND LODGE: "Excellent Hotel perfect for relaxation"

Review by: KaymanCH | Source: tripadvisor.com
"This gem is located within Mekong delta and offers piece and quiet, beautiful ambiente and very helpful and friendly staff. There are a few rooms which ensure no mass tourism. Slow food and tranquility, perfect hospitality and harmony are the keywords. We stayed there for 3 days and enjoyed a pre-paradise experience. Especially the spa with different types of massages is a soul-supporting experience. The rooms are clean with the option to use an airconditioning. The bathroom and shower is clean and showing lots of litte details which sum up to a very special hotel. At every step one finds another detail which makes this hotel a personal little home. We felt at home instantly and will return as soon as possible. For our little lady of the age of 9 it was a paradise. The pool is clean (which we did not spot everywhere in even more expensive hotels in South East Asia). The Coconut Smoothie became her favourite drink. :-) We enjoyed boat cruises and a visit at the next town's pagoda with impressive statues. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful - even by Asian standards. The transfer from HCMC to the hotel gave us a good possibilty for a first insight to people and country. We recommend this gem for everyone who seeks piece and quiet in a very special atmosphere within a safe and clean environment. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Island Lodge. "

Villa Mathis: "Excellent"

Review by: Thierry42300 | Source: Trip Advisor

Satri House: "A wonderful happiness at a cozy little boutique hotel"

Review by: Neung V | Source: Trip Advisor
"We are a family with kids and a nanny. At first, we booked this hotel on Agoda web for the first 2 nights ( our plan in Luang Prabang was 6 days/5 nights). Then we planed to spend our first 2 days traveling around and get to know Luang Prabang before move to other hotels that near the old city. This hotel is not much different as seen in the picture and the swimming pool is just nice for our kids ( 2.5 yrs old and a baby 5 months old). They loved to go to swimming pool almost everyday. The first night, we ended up having dinner at hotel restaurant which is the same dining place for having breakfast. The dinner was very good. The Laotian food tasted yummy and not too spicy. Our kid loves fried nugget chicken with french fries so much (we were back to order this quite a few times during the rest of our stay. Later, we went out to check on our wish list hotels like 3Nagas, Azaria (near night market), Belle Rives (very nice view to see Mae Khong river), we also got the chance to dine at 3Nagas as well ( see our review for 3Nagas restaurant) BUT we didn't very much like those hotels ambience and there is not-a-good-swimming pool for our kids to swim as well as Satri house. So we came back and talked to Satri House hotel manager "" Giovanni"" that we loved to extend our stay at Satri House for the next 4 days/3 nights. It was very appreciated to say that Satri hotel GM gave us a good hotel deal package for our extended. We got the same junior suit room type with lower rate than the previous booking from Agoda website and a plus was the spa for 2 (oil massage or traditional Laotian massage) for free. We found that our trip in Laos wouldn't be as nice if we didn't stay at Satri House. It was a family friendly hotel, Very nice breakfast (we tried every breakfast menu during our 6 days stay in both international dish and local dish). Our kids like hot chocolate drink and we all loved fresh orange juices and a fruit bowl in every morning too (croissant and bread were also good). I could even say that some of the dish is as good as 3Nagas or even better! For us, we are no need to go to other hotels or go through those restaurants that listed with overrated star in Laung Prabang. We finally were happy with Satri House for the stay, the food, the location, the friendly and always helpful hotel staff and especially, Hotel GM. Thanks for taking good care of us. We hope to go back again for our next vacation soon. Love Satri House! We impressed."

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "An elegant return to old Penang; atmospheric and fantastically restored. A very private retreat."

Review by: R552TMlisaw | Source: Trip Advisor
One of the most dramatically-scened hotels we've ever visited, and we are seasoned travelers. Conjures Penang's history as a wealthy, multicultural trade hub, with relics from Cheong's family. Don't miss the tour.

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Amazing service"

Review by: MJCR2014 | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed here for two nights and loved every minute of my stay. I was welcomed and made to feel special for the duration of my stay. The rooms are relaxing and the resort very pretty. The staff were so polite and I was even given a birthday cake from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel as they will make you feel so welcome and take care of you.

Tugu Lombok: "Rest in paradise"

Review by: joana_cool_house | Source: Trip Advisor
"We staid there for 3nights and we loved it The place is beautiful very different from other 5star hotels. They respect the tradition and the Indonesian history and try to adjust to the hotel decoration. It's a beautiful and calm place. We were lucky the hotel was not crowded. It was low season and we had the hotel almost to ourselves. Very nice staff. The beach is the best we got in Indonesia with warm water but a lot of corals (you should were protection shoes) They have 2 restaurants at the hotel There are 2 big pools. The only bad thing is the prays in the middle of the night. They are Muslims and they pray in the middle of the night and wake you up with the speakers. You have transportation service, excursions to gili, spa, kayaks, paddel board, cooking lessons, snorkeling.. Our breakfast was included and we could have it at any time of the day.. So it was more of a lunch.. And the food is not expensive. It is a romantic place to go and spend a few days. One of my favorite hotel in the world! Stayed March 2017"

MesaStila: "Mid week getaway!"

Review by: Mel M | Source: Trip Advisor
I was expecting to be able to unwind when I got to MesaStila, what I did not expect was how quickly it happened. There is something magical and memorizing that happens from the moment you arrive. The entire resort is amazing. The staff just so gentle and warm. Even the food has healing and comforting elements. First day was spent just relaxing, getting to know the property. Our villa was spectacular and had all the mod cons we needed. Day 2 we experienced the Hammam Spa. Four months of stress disappeared after the 2 hour treatment- what an amazing facility this is. It rained for part of the time we were there which just added to the amazing experience. Reading in the clubhouse, watching the rain and mist. The resort takes you back in time but will all the modern conveniences. We also did the coffee tour, I love my coffee and now love it even more after listening to the delightful Lily explain how the coffee is grown, harvested, roasted and packaged. Thank you to all the staff of MesaStila for being so genuine! We will be back!

Locavore: "A “must” dining experience"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Member | Source: Trip Advisor
My husband and I went to Lacovore for lunch to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary and were very glad we did, it was one of the best dining experiences we have had anywhere. The booking process is very professional with follow up emails about what to expect, dress standards and how long the booking will be held for should guests be late. I have a food allergy and this was also followed up and discussed when we arrived. We chose the 7 course degustation menu, my husband the meat option and myself the vegetarian. However there were 4 appetisers before the first listed course and a pre and post dessert appetiser providing 13 courses in total. By the end we were full but the course sizes were such that we weren't unpleasantly so. Each dish was described when it arrived and all used ingredients local to the area, Bali and Indonesia. The cocktails also utilised local ingredients. Every dish had the perfect balance of flavours and textures and was beautifully presented. The waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive, friendly and professional. While it is not a cheap dining experience it is a highly recommended one. Book early however to ensure a booking, even for lunch. Dinner is often booked out weeks in advance.
