THE SAMAR: "Perfect sanctuary after seeing the temples"

Review by: alanamo | Source: Trip Advisor
I've traveled through Siem Reap visiting Angkor Wat a few times now and know that even if you don't spend a lot of time in your hotel, after a long day of exploring the temples it's feels really nice to come back to a special space to relax and recharge. After the temple crowds, I loved The Samar's quiet charm and tranquility. I also really appreciated the Khmer-inspired architecture and free facial -- such a perk!

Satri House: "Great hotel"

Review by: GarethTarbard | Source: Trip Advisor
"We just returned from a 5 day family trip staying at Satri House. We had a great stay. The pool was perfect for our little girl, as the temperature this time of year gets pretty high. We eat in the hotel restaurant for most of our meals. I must say the Laos food was outstanding. The staff were brilliant throughout the whole hotel. Yes it was noisy with all the New year celebrations, but for residents to complain about this is pretty silly. I can guarantee there's pretty much music playing all over town, and its time for all the great people of Laos to celebrate and cool down with plenty of water fights. Thanks again. Gareth, Selene, Carol and Josie"

Les Maisons d’Itac: "A small but fantastic resort!"

Review by: MrUppsala | Source: Trip Advisor
We spent a long weekend in the bamboo house at this small but beautiful resort. Great experience. You are sleeping 3 meters from the beach! You hear the waves and all kinds of sounds in the night, very relaxing. The atmosphere at the place is great. It is sort of at the end of the road, so there is no restaurants or things to do within walking distance. But the staff and the manager Bryan are very serviceminded and will help you with anything you want to do or go to. We recommend you to eat all meals at the resort and then there's no need to go anywhere else. Just stay at the resort and enjoy it. We would love to come back some day!

Rachamankha: "Amazing small boutique hitel"

Review by: tidemd14 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at the Rachamankha for 4 nights in August. There are several huge positives about the hotel. First and foremost it's in the middle of the city but in a residential neighborhood and on a small alley surrounded by walls. As such it is a quiet oasis where you forget you're in a large town at all. The staff is amazing, helpful, and genuine and willing to whatever to make your stay wonderful. It's a small intimate hotel with very few rooms and is very quiet. We mostly saw couples. The entire hotel is laid out in a very symmetric, peaceful, zen-like way and was actually designed by a famous architect who has his office off the hotel library. The decor is very interesting, with regional historic artifacts in the outdoor hallways and courtyards. The included breakfast at the restaurant was outstanding and there was a good set of menu options. The one dinner we had was excellent as well, though somewhat pricy. The only downside was that the wifi was weak, slow, and frequently failed requiring another login. AC is great and you can make the room as cool as you want. In summary: Pros: outstanding boutique hotel in an excellent location; great value Con: weak wifi"

Amata Lanna: "excellent small hotel"

Review by: philli1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"came here as our first choice wasn't available, but it turned out really well. its mainly built out of wood (so can be a bit noisy first thing if people leave early). its built in a quadrangle with a central atrium which allows in the sun (or in our case, the rain) there is a small central pool. the beds are comfy and four-poster. the carvings are amazing, worth seeing even if you aren't stopping. there is free water as well as a good breakfast. the staff are really helpful (and very young!). really glad we went there, thanks Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Relax and enjoy"

Review by: travellersalways | Source: Trip Advisor
Spacious Cambodian style rooms with excellent amenities set in lush tropical gardens. Staff could not have been more helpful. A little out of town, but no problems with arranging transport. Nice pool. Good breakfast. Nice to sit out on the balcony of the room and enjoy the setting.

Sea Dance Resort: "Far from the crowds but close to everything. A beautiful, peaceful, friendly boutique resort"

Review by: daryld19067 | Source: Trip Advisor
Sea Dance Resort is a newer property near Choeng Mon town, a less crowded area of the island. It is close to the airport but out of its flight path so it is convenient but very quiet. My two, twenty-something daughters and I were ending our two week trip to Thailand and Siem Reap here and wanted an uncrowded, peaceful place to relax before we headed home. We found just what we were looking for at Sea Dance and spent four nights there. We loved our pristine pool villa as well as the resort's infinity pool and bar. The beach is absolutely beautiful there with plenty of covered and uncovered seating. The place is simply gorgeous, but it is the staff that make a stay there so unforgettable. Art, Faith, Helen, Ping at front desk (may have name wrong), Danny, Kwan and Gome couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating. Kwan and Gome helped find my daughters when their paddle boats drifted beyond our line of sight! By the end of four days there we felt like we were leaving our family. This boutique hotel is luxurious without being ostentatious. The staff is genuinely friendly and sincere. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Moment de repos exceptionnel"

Review by: titinette12 | Source: Trip Advisor

Definitely a place of serenity and peace of mind, from the beautiful artefacts scattered around the property to one of the best customer experiences we've experienced throughout our stay in Bali. Tugu held a Christmas dinner the other day, meal was amazing and can rest assure we'll be back again.
