Talabgaon: "Treated like royalty in a royal palace"
"The first thing to say about reviewing Talabgaon Castle is that in order to differentiate these 5 stars from any earlier 5 star reviews, I should probably go back to the others and knock them down to 4 stars ... its just that good. The setting, the staff, the food, the amenities, the service ... all were top notch. We (as a couple) spent two nights here in January 2016. The staff were awaiting our arrival, and cool drinks and towels provided after the couple of hours drive from Agra (it is closer to Jaipur but we were going the other direction). Our bags were taken swiftly to our opulent room on the ground floor, and soon we were eating our first meal. This being the 6th day of our first trip to India, staying generally in upper market accommodation, we have become accustomed to good Indian food - but this took it to the next level. Flavours literally bursting. (...) For our final morning, the hotel staff set our breakfast table out in the courtyard of the gardens. In a nutshell - if you're able to stop over here ... even if its a little out of the way ... then do so. You will I am sure be as surprised, impressed and amazed as we were."Les Maisons Wat Kor: "This is it"
We so enjoyed our time here! Phakdey Chhun is the manager- and a more kind and attentive man you could not meet. The location is a little tuk tuk ride to the the city center, but Mr. Dan is awesome! Dan took us around - bamboo train and a pagoda with Khmer Rougevties. He was insightful and kind. The pool is amazing as well as breakfast. The little village outside the resort is worth exploring- the people are so kind and the kids are delightful. Tip: Buy some cheap toys and give them to the kids they just love itCuca: "Deserves 2 Michelin stars – Outstanding"
"We had a fantastic culinary experience at Cuca. The flavours, textures, aromas and presentation were an impressive mix. The staff were very atentative and their product knowledge was amazing. We sat at the bar watching the Chefs work which brought back memories for me. We liked how different people brought us our dishes - Chefs and our waitress, who explained what we were about to enjoy. As recommended we choose 6 tapas style dishes which was just enough for both of us to feel full and not left hungry. The choice is well balanced and it was difficult to choose which 6 dishes to enjoy, saying that we couldn't resist trying 2 of their desserts too!! We don't normally take dessert but on this occasion we really enjoyed the Bali breakfast and their ice cream dish with 98% coco mass organic chocolate ganash just made for them. Their brigade is headed up by an energetic Canadian Chef called Kevin Cherkas who I would pair with Heston Blumenthal using modern techniques to improve your culinary experience. So we liked it so much we are going to return to enjoy a different 6 dishes and another culinary journey at Cuca. "Cuca: "Tasty gastronomical food with okay price"
The place is super nice. This restaurant has enormous outdoor space that kids can play after or before they eat. The staff is also kid friendly and very polite. food wise, it tasted great. We tried the mushroom, fried chicken, soft shell crab and the fried chicken. All of them are tasty. The portion of the appetizer is small but for the chicken and soft shell crab, the size is a normal size portion, not tapas portion.Satri House: "Delightful hotel near the center of town"
"Very very well done property. The rooms aren't fancy, but they are very comfortable, spacious, clean, and restful. The property is so well designed and manicured. I keep saying to my wife, if I could design a home from stratch, I would design it like the Satri House. Amazing court yards, nooks, crannies, stairways, arcs, balcony just fit together to create an amazing collection of spaces. Service was amazing esp at breakfast. The breakfast itself was simple but very well executed. One of the best hotel experiences we have had. Spa was ok. We had a couples massage and it didn't impress us."Rachamankha: "Sublime sanctuary in the old city"
"Our stay at Rachamankha was everything we'd hoped. As you approach it through the narrow lanes and busy traffic it's hard to believe that such a tranquil spot can exist in the middle of the old city. From the moment you drive in, it's like coming home. No big swanky reception and lobby area, just a discreet desk and a warm welcome when you check in. The whole complex takes some exploring - I'd recommend asking them to show you all the facilities when you arrive (we were still finding our way around by the end of our stay). Rooms are lovely and private - the bathrooms are probably not up to such a high standard (shower is quite small by comparison) but not a deal breaker. The pool area, restaurant and bar are pretty close to perfect. Breakfast has so many choices it's a bit bamboozling some days. We could have quite easily stayed within Ranchmankha and not explored Chiang Mai at all - just lazing around the pool was idyllic. Thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay - you won't regret it!"The Apsara Rive Droite: "Tweede bezoek weer top"
"Waarom alle toeristen naarde buren gaan is ons een raadsel. Wij hebben onze vakantieregel gebroken (nooit 2x naar zelfde resto) met goede afloop. Weer heerlijk gegeten, lekkere amuse, gezellige bediening en top setting tafel aan de rivier. go !!!! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Tandjung Sari: "12 Days at Tandjung"
Our stay was very close to perfect- we selected a garden villa as our home base for the family holiday. The staff at Tandjung were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Starting each day with a shower (in the private outside villa courtyard) then having breakfast on the beachfront was a daily highlight for me. The villa and the grounds and the facilities around the resort were immaculate and the security staff at both ends of the property added to a sense of exclusivity. And lastly, Tandjung is great value; a similar quality room at a Seminyak resort cost my cousin more than double the rate. We will come back to Tandjung Sari for sure.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Holiday perfection"
"This is our second time visiting here and better than ever. The staff and rooms are amazing. The food is the best I have ever tasted and I love Indian food the stability of the Hotel from the manager to the gardeners is wonderful and doesn't change. Anyone who needs to unwind this is the place to do it if you love the beach and the sea you have it in abundance. Room Tip: Pay a little extra and have a sea view room so tranquil"Rahai’i Pangun: "The most AMAZING travel experience I’ve ever had"
"My friend and I booked a 3 day/2 night cruise through Tanjung Puting National Park to visit the orangutan feeding stations. We left from Kumai and spent 3 of the most amazing days of our trip on the river, in the jungle and seeing the monkeys, orangutans and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Our crew were a sensational group of people and made the trip so much fun. Our tour guide Ari was so knowledgable about the area and knew the orangutans by name. We had one of the best cooks who consistently produced meal after meal of the most amazing fresh food. Sitting on the boat and cruising down the river made us feel like royalty. We were well looked after by the crew and they took great interest in pointing out wildlife along the way and involving us in different aspects of the trip. I cannot recommend this experience more highly to anyone thinking about a similar trip or experience. A number of reviewers have commented on the congestion of tour boats on the river detracting from their experience. We found the complete opposite. We loved the feeling of community during our trip and interacting with other tourists and crews, and sharing this rich experience with them. WOW Borneo were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They were easy to get in touch with and always responded to our questions within hours. If you're looking for a tour provider, WOW Borneo is a great option."
