Reverie Siam Pai: "Small Luxury Boutique Hotel"
The hotel is low level and sits beautifully in the lovely landscaped grounds. We had a mountain view view room which was absolutely lovely and very peaceful. The bathrooms are stunning and the shower had amazing water pressure. The beds are huge with lovely crisp linens. The location is perfect, by the river and slightly out of town. There is a free shuttle which is excellent for when you wish to go into town. The staff were truly focused on the customer, always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. The eggs hollandaise for breakfast were stupendous. As veggies the staff were always happy to amend the menu and we had no problems there but a little more veggie choice would have been great. The cocktails, restaurant area, swimming pools and riverside pavilion were all fabulous. We stayed 5 nights and by the end we felt like regulars...totally at home. As a luxury treat on our two week motorbiking holiday this place was a real tonic and we would absolutely come back/stay here if ever in this area again.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Third visit to this oasis in the Kerala"
This is an eco hotel that doesn't stint on luxury. Just a dozen or so authentic Keralan bungalows in a coconut grove by the sea. Staff outnumber the guests and deliver first class unobtrusive service. Comfortable roomy beds with high quality bed linen. Exquisite food in both restaurants. Yards from the sea where dolphins swim and locals fish. All staff are dedicated to making sure you are happy with everything. Won't pick out any one as they all deserve a mention. Very good spa also. We will be back again next year!!Tugu Lombok: "Paradise!"
We stayed here for 6 nights in December and had the best time of our lives. This place is amazing! The hotel and it's grounds are so beautiful. We stayed in one of the Amempang rooms and it was so luxurious and absolutely huge. I've never been anywhere like this before- it's absolute paradise. The staff are exceptional and all so happy, friendly, welcoming and eager to go the extra mile for you. My boyfriend proposed to me while we were here, and because he'd let them know what he was planning they set us up a private dinner in one of the beds on the beach and had it all decorated for us. When we went back to our room they had decorated that for us too! They had made animal arrangements out of the towels, lit candles in the bathroom and filled up the bath with water and flowers. They made our whole stay so special I can't thank them enough. We are coming back for our honeymoon!Jing’s Residence: "Beautiful hotel in an ancient Chinese walled city"
Loved Pingyao and loved this beautiful hotel. From our gorgeous room with courtyard view to the incredibly attentive staff, our stay here was perfect. It rained a lot during our stay, but we spent a great morning making noodles in a cookery class with Henry (who was very patient), and the beef noodle soup with pickled vegetables for breakfast was one of the best dishes we had in China.Villa Song: "An amazing oasis of calm"
HCMC is a crazy, busy, polluted, energetic, frenetic place to visit and Villa Song is a gentle oasis of calm on the river where you can unwind from a busy day in the city. If you want to be right at the heart of the city, this probably isn't the place for you, as it's some way out... but having said that, they have a private boat service to take guests into town that operates throughout the day. I found it far better to be out of the city and to have a quieter place to stay instead. The spa is good, the pool is fab and the views, accommodation, food and service are totally worth the premium. Thoroughly recommended!4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Unbelievably tranquil and away from it all"
"We loved 4 Rivers - it was so tranquil and away from it all (including the Internet!) and after a frenetic few days at Siem Reap and in Phnom Penh it was just amazing to spend time relaxing. The tents are great fun, especially the barrel showers and the rooms are comfortable. The food was really tasty and the young chef is very talented and artistic. All the staff are very friendly and obliging. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Slow Villas and Spa: "7 days of paradise"
Gili Air is itself already a special place, however, if you stay at Slow Villa this will give you the last notch to perfection. The villa itself is very well organized with private pool, massive private garden, lovely villa and beautifully designed interior. The stuff was great even at peak breakfast hours and also for special arrangements like bbq of the fish we caught in the morning. The staff is more than helpful in giving you tips in terms of restaurants, bars, activities, organizing travel arrangements, etc. In a pretty short time you get a good impression about the island itself and the other accommodation and I can without any doubt say that Slow Villa is definitely the best place to stay on Gili Air. And on top of the aforementioned I love the fact that the people behind Slow Villa also care about environmental and social responsibility. Chapeau and keep going!!!Tugu Lombok: "A Paradise on Heart"
"We've seen quite a few big and luxurious resorts, but we are sure that our stay at Tugu Lombok will remain in our minds like one of the most amazing. We stayed 2 nights in this slice of heaven and everything was absolutely perfect! The private beach is one of the most beautiful white sand beaches we’ve ever seen. The hotel not only offers kayaks and a Stand Up board free of charge but also all the Snorkel equipment providing us an absolutely mesmerizing experience exploring the sea. Our Villa, 106, was the second closest Villa to the main swimming pool. Only a green lawn separates the beach from the back garden where we had our own private swimming pool. The room was so big it feels like staying in a castle and had one of the biggest beds we have ever slept, where we were woken up every morning with a perfect sunrise. The bathroom is integrated in the garden where there was a big fishpond with Shower and bathtub outside surrounded by nature. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming serving us with a real smile and warmth. The food was exceptionally good. The breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious and best of all, we got to enjoy it anywhere we wanted. The hotel complex is huge and it is lovely to wander around. Everywhere we found pieces of Indonesian culture and art. Every time we went around we discovered a new lovely spot. We fell in love by this hotel! Absolutely everything was stunning. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Feels like staying in a 19th century building"
The property still retains its original feel, as the owners have used professional building conservation methods to restore the building instead of totally revamping the interior in accordance to modern interior design concepts. Recommend to attend the daily guided tours to know more about the history of the building and its 1st owner, Cheong Fatt Sze.Glenburn Tea Estate: "Relaxing"
"This hotel is excellent, I will certainly return. From the pick up at the airport, tea on route and the well appointed rooms I really can't fault it, the views from anywhere in the hotel are breathtaking, the food, although limited in choice is excellent, if you like walking and enjoy peace and quite this would be a great choice, additionaly the tea plantation and working factory are a great visit. Room Tip: A room with walk in shower is a good choice"
