Talabgaon Castle: "Very beautiful resort, amazing hospitality overall an awesome experience"
This place is just fab, very well maintained heritage castle. The property is beautiful and takes you back to the royal living. Hospitality of the staff is just amazing. Mr. Harminder Singh's hospitality was just out of the world. Meals were authentic Rajasthani cuisine, made with lot of love and served with even more love :-) Overall me and my family had a wonderful experience which we will never forget. Hope to visit this awesome place again!!Neeleshwar Hermitage: "For the rest of your life"
"""For the rest of your life"" is quite a claim. We were both frazzled and so it was an easy claim to sign up for. Neeleshwar Hermitage totally delivered. The setting on the edge of the Arabian Sea is pretty special: for miles and miles of sandy beach and the rhythm of the waves wherever you are, enjoying yoga, breakfast at the beach restaurant or the infinity pool that looks out over the sea. The Ayurvedic Spa is where the relaxation really delivers with the spa team providing the best massages and treatments totally restoring mind, body, and spirit which were far from balanced on arrival. Having warm oil gently running on my forehead took me gently into a very deep sleep. The detox package we had opted for prescribed vegetarian food which Is not my usual menu, but the North Kerala recipes mixing spices and herbs were excellent. The whole experience was delivered by a delightful team throughout the resort. Sadly we had to leave after our allotted week and did so in a very different state than when we arrived. ""For the rest of your life"" indeed. "Tugu Malang: "Awesome boutique hotel experience!"
It's almost like enough cannot be said about this place! It's one of those perfectly restored properties that exudes the charm of a distant past while maintaining luxurious travel experiences that match up to the best in the industry. Awesomely comfortable rooms beautifully decorated with colonial era antiques, amazing old-fashioned service, great food, stunning ambiance, and a great location to boot. Worth the price.RACHAMANKHA: "Enchanting hotel"
"We stayed for two nights and loved the peace and tranquility this special hotel provided. It is located in the Old City, and thus is slightly removed from the bustle of central Chiang Mai. Really the attraction here alongside the quiet is the extraordinary architecture. The property's attention to detail in design and decor is one of a kind. If these features are not what you are seeking this may not be the hotel for you but if so it is a special and unique stay. "Tugu Lombok: "Paradise"
"This was our second visit to Tugu and it will not be the last, a really quirky set of rooms and villas are really interesting and well laid out. Pools are fantastic and the beautiful white sand beach is just wonderful. Hotel restaurants are wonderful and food is both well presented and extremely tasty with a fantastic local focus on the menu. Spa is very good with the local massage being our personal favourite, very good value. Our only gripe about this hotel is that there is no ATM machine available so I was unable to tip the wonderful staff what they actually deserved instead of what I had in my wallet, as always the welcome you get in any hotel is reliant on the team that are there to look after you and as previously the team at Tugu shone. Thank you for another wonderful stay and we will see you again soon. Mark + Myra"Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "A must do when in Bangkok"
"Forget the flashy neon lights and loud music from the many river cruise options available , Supanniga does it in style Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food and great service. My husband and I prebooked this cruise and I'm happy we did as it was great value for money. The views are wonderful and the pace the boat travels at is ideal for photos would highly recommend"MesaStila: "Simply Paradise"
Surrounded by nature you reside in beautiful and authentic houses that just invite you to dream. The service is great, everybody is very friendly, the food is incredible and we felt truly spoiled. Start your day with a tasty breakfast and a healthy juice from the medicine lady (we just loved her), then visit the coffee plantation with a very charming guide and enjoy some hot bananas and end the day by chosing a tasty meal at the restaurant. Make sure you leave room for dessert. Furthermore, the guide from the hotel that accompanied us to Semarang guaranteed for a perfect day outside the hotel. We had a wonderful time and could really relax. It is also worthwile to book a spa session. The Hamam is incredible and the place is so lovely decorated. All I can say is that this place is truly Paradise.David’s Kitchen: "Another beautiful evening"
The service is spectacular. Table presentation perfect. They could have served anything and one would have been happy. However the food they served was good - very good. Oh - back in Hong Kong planning next tripMathis Retreat: "Small, classy, boutique hotel with very lovely staff"
"My husband and 20 month year old have just returned from a lovely relaxing stay at Mathis retreat. We chose to be picked up and dropped back at the airport by the Mathis team as this meant our little one could travel in a baby seat (we didn't lug one all the way to Bali). The staff were very friendly and the hotel was great - I don't think the pictures of the bungalows on this site do justice to the decor of the rooms - they were very large and tastefully decorated. The bath was so large that all three of us could fit. Karine helped coordinate a few activities from the hotel- one day we went on a hike through the jungle, lunch with locals and a stop at a more friendly monkey park (Sangeh). Another time we went to Lake Bratten and looked at the wonderful rice terraces at Jatiluwih and tasted the local coffee overlooking other lakes. Karine also organised, on our behalf, a cycling tour of the local rice paddies and villages and ensured their was a baby sized helmet provided. The huge advantage of organising all of our activities through the hotel meant that we could use the hotel's baby seat. We ate at the restaurant (Terracotta) numerous times - breakfast is amazing - overlooking the rice paddies. Dinner was also beautiful - lights in the rice paddies and lanterns floating on the pool with delicious food. So good, we ended up doing a cooking course at the hotel for lunch one day. The staff were wonderful, very helpful with our little one and friendly. Nothing seemed to be a problem. The pool has a large shallow section that is suitable for little ones and the hotel's duck's were also very popular with our child and others' children. Another tip: There is a great path through the rice paddies and small village streets from the hotel into Ubud - certainly worth doing the walk early one morning so you can catch the Udud local food markets. Room Tip: The bungalows by the pool were great as the baby monitor was in range. We were in the pool relaxing..."Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Fabulous Food in a Fabulous Setting"
We were not staying here but came to look at the resort and eat a late lunch after four hours of visiting ruins on bicycles. We were hot and sweaty so definitely appreciated the cool, open restaurant. Delicious drinks. Delicious homemade bread, along with chilled cucumber soup, chicken sate, banana leaf shrimp salad, potato curry, and ice cream for dessert. Excellent service provided by Kyaw Soe Paing and the staff he was training. An expensive treat to ourselves but well worth it!
