Jing’s Residence: "Terrific stay, best in Pingyao"
My family of four stayed 2 terrific nights at Jing's Residence in November 2016. The staff was incredibly attentive, and very engaging and friendly to our two young children. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic food, also. Location is perfect for exploring Pingyao, and the hotel can arrange a reasonably priced car and driver to nearby attractions. Highly recommend this hotel to stay, and the restaurant also. Pingyao - due in part to how much we liked Jing's Residence - was one of my favorite experiences in China over four years living here.Sandat Glamping Tents: "Luxury Hideaway next to rice paddies & jungle"
We stayed in one of the villas which shares a pool with 3 others. The accommodation was gorgeous - bedroom above plus semi open air bathroom and day bed area downstairs and beautiful decor, art & landscaping throughout the property. The boutique nature of the venue meant that the restaurant & lounge were calm but service and food still excellent. Given that this is nestled into the jungle, frogs & other wildlife were pretty noisy through the night but that added to the charm for us. We also enjoyed a private yoga class with a super teacher in the yoga pavilion early morning.Villa Song Saigon: "The Best Place To Stay!!!"
We stayed at Villa Song in an Art Suite for 7 nights in October. It could not have been a better ending to a 22 night vacation. As mentioned numerous times, the location is peaceful, yet with the complimentary boat shuttle, district 1 is a mere 12-15 minute ride away (also a free sightseeing trip). It is newly renovated and has only 23 very tastefully decorated rooms/suites. if you want the chaos and pollution of HCMC at your front door, I wouldn't suggest here. If its elegance, beauty, and genuine heartfelt service, this is the place. Breakfast is anytime and the choices are many. You will not go away hungry. As for dinner choices, the menu is quite large. We seldom eat at our hotel, generally due to quality and overcharging, but ate dinner here 6 nights. We tried every section of the menu. (Asian, western, seafood, salad, noodles, soup...etc.) It was all amazing, and for an extremely very reasonable price. Please do not overlook dining here. We had the opportunity to meet the chef, he is somewhat new to this hotel but has a good deal of experience. He is a young Vietnamese gentleman who is very proud and devoted to his food. All and all, this place is a real gem. The staff are amazing and take great pride in everything that they do. Serene location, Saigon River view, cheap and easy access to district 1, awesome food, and a staff that any hotel would envy...can't beat it!Reverie Siam: "4th visit"
Would you go a 4th time to a hotel which you don't like? Certainly not. The Reverie Siam Resort in Pai is our preferred place to go if we don't want to spend more than 2 hours in the car from our domicile in Chiang Mai. The winding road has just been renovated and is a pleasure to drive now. In the hotel, the rooms, in particular the villas are great, and so are the 2 pools. The almost historic restaurant is a "must see experience", the food is Western but great, the wine list large and the staff very friendly and attentive. And for what if offers, the prices are fair, and on occasion of our 4th visit we even got a 35 % discount. The only downside this time was that we booked our preferred table for a big birthday, which was confirmed in the booking confirmation as well as upon check-in. When we came to the restaurant in the evening, however, "our" table was given away. It is obvious that the communication between reception and restaurant manager didn't work, at least not this time. The 35 % discount was possible a fair compensation for this mishap. But no reason for us not to come back again and again.Supanniga Eating Room: "Best Authentic Thai Food – new Fav place in Bangkok!"
Visited the Sathorn branch which is just a 7 mins walk away from Chong Nansi BTS station. Important note to book in advance for a place as it got packed pretty quickly, even had a table of ladies celebrating hen's night there. You can easily make a booking through their website. The food there is exceptional!! The ambience is nice with music and soft lighting. Portions are good for 2 pax and we were able to order a variety of dishes to share. They had the deep fried siakap fish with yummy garlic soy sauce and the pork in yellow curry was super yummy. For dessert, you must try the thai tea-flavoured panna cotta, which is literally melt in your mouth concentrated thai tea with smooth texture! Will definitely come back again!Supanniga Eating Room: "Good food"
Went there for dinner for the first time. Food was simple but delicious. Pleasant and comfortable setting. Attentive and helpful staff made the experience even more enjoyable. Certainly will return upon my next trip.Samanea Beach Resort: "Wonderful quiet paradise"
"We stayed 4 nights at this wonderful place. It is a bit outside Kep but you can easily catch a tuk tuk for 3 $. The staff were all so friendly and helpful all the time. The food was nice even though there was not that much from. Excellent happy hour with good drinks. Bungalows were big and very comfortable, clean and nice. Liked the outdoor bath! Can only recommend this place - wonderful and quiet"Maison Polanka: "Great place!"
"Had a lovely time with my wife and 2 daughters, staff... food...room... everything was perfect to the end. Having a restaurant in France, I know all the trouble employees and managers are going thru to make everything perfect, and it was a success thanks to all of them. Keep the good work! And definitly see you next year! Best regards. QUÉGUINER Erwan."Jing’s Residence: "A lovely special experience"
We had a great time not the least because of the great staff. A truly beautiful place with a very special atmosphere. Lovely decorated modern rooms with traditional elements in place. And a great restaurantAmata Lanna: "Great boutique hotel"
My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights. We loved the personal experience of staying in a smaller, boutique-style hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we were always greeted with a smile. The room was large, traditional Lanna style with a very spacious bathroom. The daily breakfast was a fairly small selection but delicious and still something for everyone (cereal, toast, eggs, bacon, Asian-style porridge etc). We would definitely recommend staying here.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
