Cuca: "Amazing lunch"
Lovely place with a nice garden to wander around. Food was excellent. Meats and seafood were fantastic. Comes tapas style for sharing. Everything was excellent. We ordered every single item on the seafood and meat menu and had nothing to complain about. Every single dish was exquisite. Only complaint was the black pepper ice cream for desert which left an odd after taste. Price wise is a little on the expensive side for Bali. Expect to pay 500k per pax.Reverie Siam: "Absolutely perfect"
"I don't have a single complaint about this place. Everything was amazing from the shuttle to the staff to the food to the room. The staff at this resort is the best staff I've ever met in all my travels! We joke that we want a boyfriend to treat us as well as the staff did at Reverie Siam. One example is when my friend was doing my hair and one receptionist saw and brought us bobby pins and hair ties! It's located about 5 minutes driving from the center of town but they have a free shuttle. We just called and told them where we were and they picked us up or we said where we wanted to go and they drove us there. They also drove us to the hot springs in the national park (I wouldn't recommend) and the temple on the hill. The room is super cute and clean with all natural ingredient toiletries. You get two free breakfasts and two juice/tea/coffee every day at the restaurant which is phenomenal! It's definitely much more expensive than most places in Pai but for good reason. It's more of a place for older couples (we were two girls in our early 20s and out of place). If you're looking to party and have fun and meet young backpackers I wouldn't really recommend. But we don't regret it at all! We miss it and wish we could go back!! "The Apsara Rive Droite: "ideal location, lovely rooms"
"One of the first truly boutique hotels to open on the middle of the old UNESCO quarter of Luang Prabang, it is still going very strong. I was welcomed by a nice basket of fruit. Staff was genuinely happy to see me again. Rooms are very large and decorated in a very Indochine style with a twist of modernity. A lovely place to relax and to use as a base to explore this charming small town. Breakfast is included and is lovely. A choice of Asian or Western with fresh fruit and orange juice. Has a very good restaurant, one of the best in Luang Prabang. Prices are very easonable. Stayed April 2017, traveled solo"Tugu Lombok: "A slice of tropical paradise"
"In a 3-week adventure around Bali and Lombok, the Tugu Lombok was our absolute favourite place that we stayed, hands down. The resort is stunning, the grounds are impeccable, the rooms are extraordinarily beautiful. The beach is white sand and turquoise waters. Every meal we ate (in both restaurants) was absolutely delicious. The breakfast spread is fantastic (with a particularly amazing fruit plate) and the assortment of snorkelling equipment, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards is a great way to pass afternoons on the water. Things are laid out so that you never feel crowded. But by far the best thing about Tugu Lombok is the staff. Everyone, from Sharon, the GM, and Henry, her right hand man, to the spectacular restaurant staff, spa team, housekeeping staff, and security, were the epitome of hospitality. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and polite, and everything they do is heartfelt and done with a smile. They anticipated our every need before we even expressed them and made us feel enormously welcome during our entire stay. We can't recommend this spot enough to anyone travelling to Lombok (and even if you're not, you might want to change your plans to include the Tugu). One small note on rooms - we had read through previous TripAdvisor reviews and decided to take the overwhelmingly consistent advice to splurge on a Bhagavat Gita suite and we were completely blown away by the beauty and design of these extraordinary villas. "Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Peace and tranquility by a beautiful beach on the Arabian Sea"
If it is total relaxation you are after then this hotel is perfect. The massage facilities are superb and very reasonably priced, breakfast on the beach or dinner watching the magnificent sunsets all add to the enjoyment. With ample space in the pleasant grounds for all guests to either be alone or in the company of fellow guests, this hotel offers a totally relaxing experience. All villas are superbly equipped, we were positioned very close to the swimming pool which for us was perfect.Manda De Laos: "Amazing"
What an amazing venue. Such an experience to eat fantastic food in such stunning surroundings and for less than Michelin star dining in London. Beats any restaurant I have been in by far. Cannot wait to go back there.Villa Song: "Tranquil and luxurious"
We ended our Vietnam visit at the Villa Song Hotel. It was the perfect ending to a fascinating holiday. Saigon is an exhilarating, bustling city with challenges at every corner: motorbikes in swarms which do not respect pedestrian crossings. How wonderful, therefore, to be able to whisk into the very heart of District 1 by speedboat and to return the same way and thereafter relax by the river, sip a sunset cocktail and be pampered by the hotel staff who are so anxious to please. We were impressed with every aspect of this elegant hotel, particularly the salt-water swimming pool which is large and inviting. A big breakfast is served from 6am until 10pm! Such a brilliant idea. The rooms (we stayed in the Arts suite) are tastefully appointed with a complimentary mini-bar, fruit every day and a surprise sweet delight in the early evening. A stunningly beautiful hotel with stunningly beautiful and attentive staff.VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Beautiful atmosphere"
"We stayed here for 2 nights in a beautiful suite. Big clean rooms, bathroom and really comfortable bed! The villa is on the Sai gon river, where you can enjoy the view having good food and drinks in the lovely garden. The breakfast starts at 6.30 a la carte and you don't need to rush because you can have it at anytime you want! Food is amazing! The swimming pool is big and beautiful. The staff is friendly, always smiling and ready to help you! We really enjoyed our stay here, if we would come back to Saigon, this would be fore sure our first choice again. "Sanak Retreat Bali: "Unique, peaceful and beautiful"
"Sanak is an oasis of peace, off the beaten track, between rice fields, with cooler temperatures than the rest of Bali but actually perfect and hot just a bit less humid and not boiling hot. The view over rice fields is amazing, we stayed in a bungalow - very comfortable and stylish. Good food, organic, catering for people with any special diet. No plastic or coca-cola, I loved it, lots of fresh herbal teas, great for people who are environmentally conscious, like nature and want to stay away from the crowds. Amazing massage, the best we had in Bali, especially the milder version of the Balinese massage was great. I recommend also a walk to the waterfalls, although the local guide was fussing over me as if I was to fall down from each bigger stone :) It was worth a little walk and there were no one else there. It was still raining at the time we were there (end of raining season) but mornings were sunny and good for activities. It looks beautiful in any weather here. Sanak supports preserving the local area and gives work to people in the village, I just love what they stand for. This is the best combination I have seen of eco-tourism and luxury. We will come back."Tugu Malang: "Unique experience"
Stayed here for three nights. The hotel is well located for city center. Stunning quixotic atmostphere in the hotel. Antiques, hand crafts, paintings are well decorated all over the hotel and lots of flowers. The room is clean, tidy, and classic. The staffs are amazing friendly, helpful, and attentive. Nice breakfast next to the pool. Moreover, the hotel spa was fantastic. Don't miss the hot stones massage. This is a great spot of Malang.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
