NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Amazing stay in Yala"
"My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights in February as part of a bigger trip around this amazing Island. The stay was excellent, the boys really looked after us and ensured we had the best safari experience. We were extremely lucky enough to see leopards on 3 out of our 4 drives! We didn't spot one on our last drive but we saw a bear instead which made up for it! On top of all the wildlife the food was incredible, definately one of the big plus points! Huge thanks to Danu, Saj and Praneeth for all the knowledge and experience they contributed - it made the trip even more special. "Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Magnificent hotel experience in Nepal"
Beautiful. Exceptional level 10 service. To die for views! Quiet get away - absolutely worth the uphill trek to experience. Loved everything about it and will absolutely return next trip to Nepal! Marcus and his team will make you feel welcome, and you will be spoiled!Rachamankha: "Beautiful Rachamankha"
"My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Rachamankha during Christmas and New Year 2013, and we were thrilled to be able to return again in November 2016. We have so many wonderful memories of the hotel from our first trip and these were definitely added to on this visit. Something about Rachamankha speaks to me - it is elegant, unpretentious, immaculate, welcoming and just so beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. The gardens and grounds are immaculately maintained, the pool area is lovely, the restaurant, bar, library and courtyards are elegant and simple, and the rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and have everything you need. The attention to detail is wonderful. Breakfast options include a buffet with the usual suspects of breads, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, cold meats, etc., as well as many items from the menu, cooked to order. My favourite is still the banana pancakes and hubby loves the congee. Lunch and dinner options are great too, if you feel like staying in. And there is a great drinks menu with lots of cocktails, wines and other goodies. Rachamankha isn't for everyone. If you are holidaying with small kids, or you're looking for a party, then there are plenty of other wonderful options for you in Chiang Mai. But, if you're like us, and you're looking for simple elegance with comfortable surroundings, and a quiet relaxing holiday, then Rachamankha is definitely what you're looking for. In closing, I must give thanks to the staff. They were lovely, helpful and kind. The service was efficient, prompt and polite, and the staff really do take a huge amount of pride in their work. Every single team member from the security guards at the gate, the gardeners, the restaurant staff, the front office team and housekeeping are just wonderful! Again my thanks to Wanida, who is a true gem. We can't wait to return! :)"Samanea Beach Resort: "Relaxing"
"Pros: - Spacious, traditional-style villas with large bathrooms complete with outdoor showers and hot tubs - Very peaceful, lush landscaped grounds with stunning views over the Bay of Thailand and Bokor Mountain - Extremely friendly, helpful and attentive staff - Sea View restaurant menu is focused but of great quality, and the unlimited a la carte breakfast is a delightful start to the day - Lounges and huts overlooking the pool & sea are quiet and comfortable Cons - The private beach is man-made and the sea water is very shallow and not suitable for swimming - Our Junior Suite Villa front doors didn’t completely close shut Considerations: - The resort is located between a mangrove which can heighten the alert for mosquitoes - The centre of Kep is a 5 minute tuk tuk ride away Bottom Line: The Samanea Beach Resort makes for a very pleasant stay in Kep and is a great choice for its views, excellent staff and reasonable room rates for the area"The Island Lodge: "What a fantastic find"
This place is amazing. The rooms, gardens, views, food, and above all the staff are amazing. I'm happy to have found it and sad I wasn't there loger than one night. There's not much to do, but if you're looking for Vietnamese hospitality with a touch of French luxury, go here.4 rivers: "Best floating paradise"
We have just left 4 rivers today and were very sad to leave. We had the most amazing time and everything about the experience was excellent. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The service is excellent. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and all facilities that you would expect on a floating camp are available. The meals offered are that of a 5 star experience, wonderful food, amazing presentation and served professionally. The day trips and guides were also fantastic. Make sure you go on the fire fly boat trip just 20mins and it's free plus you're back in time for dinner. You MUST visit this camp and experience it yourselves.Pindaya Farm House: "Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with extraordinary views of Pindaya"
This is a lovely working farm and small hotel. The owners are delightful people who accommodated our needs, and fed us extremely well. We had heard that this part of the country is called the Tuscany of Myanmar, and it is absolutely true. The hills surround the valley, and the red earth is reminiscent of Italy. The organic produce is spectacular, and the preparation of the food at Thahara Pindaya was simple and delicious. The rooms are comfortable and capacious, while simple, and the views from the decks are splendid whether in the early morning, middle of the day, or evening.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Honeymoon Highlight"
"We booked the luxury tent as part of our honeymoon. From pick up to drop off everything was 5 star! We had the most fantastic time and staff went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. The room itself was magnificent and we adored being able to shower under the stars. Everything about the room has been carefully thought out and lovingly handmade. The bed was extremely comfortable and we felt safe and secure in the tent. It felt like a tent from 'Harry Potter' as from the outside you would not expect them to be able to fit in so much luxury. The food! Every day we were greeted with a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. We even had private dining under the stars and a cookery lesson. I think my favourite had to be string hoppers and the coconut pancakes. Let's not forget the Safari. We managed to see a total of 5 leopards! (a mating couple, a very large male eating a monkey and a mother and cub on our last day!). Praneeth was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. A big thank you to everyone for making it so special, we will remember it so fondly and really hope to come back very soon! Emma and Matty"Bassac Cruises: "Fascinating and beautiful cruise"
This is such a great way to explore the Mekong Delta. The boat gives a comfortable experience as you sail by fabulous scenery , observing families and enjoying delicious food. Our guide , An, was a delight. She shared with us how people live in the Delta villages including first hand experiences and such interesting information. Visit to rice factory and floating market great! The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Amazing vintage style hotel"
"The hotel is just amazing! The rooms are nice and neat. Air-con is good and the bath tub is just so relaxing!!! The hotel itself is decorated in a vintage style and it is just lovely. The environment is quiet and peaceful. Thinking of a quiet and peaceful holiday escape? This is the place you would want to go to! The staff is very helpful. They show us the neighbourhood and help us to get transportation."
