Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Island paradise with luxury eco feel"
Stumbled across Golden Buddha through a family recommendation and had the most fantastic time. The staff were fabulous, food magnificent and the accommodation was truly unique.highly recommend to anyone who wants to getaway from the world for a bit and fully recharge.NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Superb"
"Last week, we spent two nights at this professional, 5*, friendly camp, where the tents are spacious, spotlessly clean and have a big comfortable beds. We were particularly impressed with the solar powered fans and the bucket shower, which staff happily warm up for you! Our guides were Saj and Danu, who made our stay so much fun. They are both highly informed, are very passionate and have great empathy with the animals and their knowledge is endless - they can identify every animal, bird or insect you point out to them. On our safaris we saw a sloth bear, elephants, crocodiles, fawn, barking and spotted deer, wild boar, water buffaloes, monitors, monkeys, eagles, and dozens of other beautiful birds. The most magical moment of our 3 week holiday was here. We arrived back from a late afternoon safari to be met with hot towels, and then walked along a lantern lit walkway to a comfortable lounge area and then to our dining table under the stars, where we ate the superb 5*** Sinhalese food, including local vegetables that we ate nowhere else in Sri Lanka - food to die for. Thank you so much Saj, Danu and all your team for making our stay with you so special. "JL Studio: "Memorable experience"
"We went to JL Studio to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. The booking process took a while because the phone number is used by the restaurant below and there was some kind of miscommunication, however, all was sorted out. Upon arrival, we were greeted by staff, sat down and offered drinks. I'm quite a talker and it was great that the staff were so friendly and easy to talk to. Our waiter explained to us about the meal that we would soon try. The thing that he made very clear to us is that the progression of meals would be like a journey, that was definitely the perfect way to explain it. Over the 8 or 9 courses, the meal progression was perfectly set up, the flavors were well defined and everything was delicious. When the signature dish came out, the vision was explained to us by Chef Jimmy himself. He stayed a few minutes and spoke to us which was a very nice gesture. I told him that one of my favorite Singaporean dishes was chill crab. He told me that upon my next visit, I'd just need to mention it to him and he would prepare it for me, again, the feeling of importance that he gave me was a nice touch. I'll definitely be going back, hopefully for my own birthday this November."Slow Villas and Spa: "3 nights – 25-27 July 2017"
I stayed with my husband and 2 teenage children in a two bedroom villa with private pool. I can only describe Slow as, calm, instantly relaxing, bare foot luxury! Stunning bedrooms with lovely outside bathrooms. So fabulous to be in the shower looking at the incredible stars (no light pollution at all!). Sadly we only had a short stay here as our sole purpose for being on Gili Air was to complete our PADI Open Water certification. How wrong we were not to stay longer. Gili Air is quite magical. No cars or scooters. Just horse and cart or bicycles. Slow Villas is situated in the middle of the island 5 mins from the beach. Definitely the best location away from the bars dotted around the coastal path. We had early morning starts and Slow made sure we had lovely homemade muesli/fruit and yoghurt in our fridge the night before so we could have early breakfast. We borrowed bikes every day to get around. Great fun!! Our stay was so short that we didn't have time to try the spa which I'm sure would be equally wonderful. Thank you Martin and the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back.Rachamankha: "Zen Hotel"
We loved our stay at Rachamankha. As others said, it felt like you were in a secluded location when you were actually right in the heart of old town Chiang Mai. Paul, the manager, is too good for words. He found out we were on our honeymoon...at our next hotel in Krabi, we had a package waiting for us in our room one night. It was a custom piece of artwork, with both my and my wife's names written in thai, and a personal note from Paul thanking us for staying at the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again without a 2nd thought.Les Maisons d’Itac: "Like home..only better"
"It has been a month since my friends and I had the pleasure to spend the most relaxing time at les Maisons. What can I say, it is a piece of paradise. We were really happy and so relaxed. The staff is more than staff, I really want to describe them as friends and family. Brian, Raiden, Marvin, Rose, Leah and of course Stacy, and our protector and compansion Itac. We miss all of them so much, we get nostalgic and homesick when we look at the pictures and videos we took. Once you have been there, you do not want to leave. If you have to, like us..one will be gripped by this constant wanderlust! Thank you so much for one of the best times! We will be back! FYI, the food is also really good!! =)"Cuisine Wat Damnak: "First Class Food"
Great restaurant in Siem Reap. World class food. just excellent. highly recommended. if you are in SR you should def go here.Locavore: "The best restaurant in Indonesia"
After 7 years living in Indonesia I would say that this is probably the world's best restaurant of Indonesian cuisine and Indonesia's best restaurant. Aspirational, creative, sophisticated, surprising ... and truly local. This is not a copy of something else.THE SAMAR: "Fantastic place"
Stayed here with with fiance, what an amazing place, great food great hosts and perfect location. We had 2 superb weeks and the weather was amazing. went all over the area and saw lots of interesting things. Would definitely book again.. 5 Stars.Manda De Laos: "Beautiful Dinner"
