MesaStila: "Amazing"

Review by: Stine A | Source: Trip Advisor
"Thank you MesaStila for a fantastic weekend at your resort. I was very impressed by the kindness of your staff. They new exactly who we were when we came. So helpful and smiling all of them. The resort is very pretty and kept in old traditional style all around. And So peaceful and quiet. The rooms are big and cosy. The garden is very nice and nice coffee plantation tour. Spa is also really good. Wow! I definitely come back! "

Tugu Bali: "World Class Service, Tranquility in Paradise"

Review by: MARK T | Source: Trip Advisor
"We traveled to Bali last month to celebrate our anniversary and chose Tugu for it's authenticity and location within Bali. And, we were blown away by the level of service that Jenny and the amazing staff provided. The natural beauty of the property and the genuine hospitality of the Balinese people were far above our expectations. Tugu is an excellent choice for an authentic experience that is in one of the best spots in Bali for beaches, surfing, yoga, anything. Not nearly as crowded in Canggu as in other parts of the country. Additionally, we had a bad experience with the airlines on the way in to Bali and my wife was missing her luggage for days. The amazing team working the front desk went above and beyond calling the airport, arranging transportation and ultimately helping us her our luggage back. Thank you Tugu for a memorable stay, we will be back one day soon! Mark and Amber"

Nimmu House: "静かな村にあるホテル"

Review by: T Y | Source: Trip Advisor
"レーの中心から車で1時間ほどの静かな村にあります。 スタッフの方の温かいホスピタリティーに感動しました。家族のようなアットホームのような感じです。 庭でランチ、ディナーをすることもでき、流れる小川やハンモック、部屋、村の散歩でゆっくりとした時間をすごすことができます。 ホテルで村内観光、ヨガ、料理教室も楽しめるようです。 デリーから1時間半でレーに到着できるので、リフレッシュに訪れるのもいいかと思います。"

Yandabo Home: "Way beyond expectations"

Review by: mfranks911 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Yandabo is probably best known for the Treaty signed in 1826 which ended the first Anglo Burmese War as well as its famous clay pottery made in an old traditional way from river clay. Yandabo Home is an excellent stop on the ferry journey from Bagan to Mandalay or vice versa. We stayed two nights into Christmas and had a most enjoyable stay. The ""resort"" consists of 12 spacious rooms with all mod cons. Teak floors, painted grey and cream walls and an excellent bathroom consisting of a large walk in shower, double sinks, a large bed and plenty of space. There is a safe and mini-bar but no TV or WiFi. All the rooms are on the upper decking and the dining area is lower down. Food was surprisingly good and we had the Christmas Eve menu on our second night. This was very good and the kitchen had gone to a lot of trouble to prepare this and with plenty of drinks too! We were very fortunate to meet the owner, Dr Aung Myat Kyaw, a charming man and found out that Yandabo Home is actually part of a number of hotels owned including three in Ngapali Beach as well as one of the cruise boat companies plying the river. The village itself is interesting and there is plenty to see sitting back watching the river and birdlife. Highly recommended."

Cuca: "Best Tapas in Bali"

Review by: Tortoiseman2015 | Source: Trip Advisor
"If you are willing to get out of the Seminyak strip, this is most definitely worth the effort. Minimalist decor & concrete floors with an open kitchen is a hive of highly organised activity. The tapas style food is innovative, fresh and totally delicious. The owner/chef made himself known at our table and was so enthusiastic about all the local Balinese produce used to create his incredible dishes, the 'Bali Breakfast' is a must. Do yourself a favour.... GO!!!"

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Amazing social impact work and experience"

Review by: Nathaniel W | Source: Trip Advisor
"Reflecting on the amazing past weeks in Myanmar. I arrived enamored by the strength of its people (especially its women) amidst its sour history of civil war and political unrest. I leave impressed by people and organizations like Yin Myo Su and Inle Heritage who have a vision that holds in balance the need to have Myanmar operate on a global platform but done in a way that preserves and cherishes its rich heritage, culture and environment. After three days of social impact workshops, we are excited by the thoughtful and intentional process that Inle Heritage Foundation and its team are making in using ecotourism as a powerful tool for good. Inle Heritage not only role models what a social business can operate like in Myanmar, but also trains its people to think differently, be curious, and challenge prevailing status quos, while also advocating for the preservation of the rich heritage and ecosystem endemic of the Inle Lake region. Thank you for your immense hospitality Missu, you and your team are an inspiration! We look forward to keeping in touch and following your social change progress!"

Rachamankha: "A total and superb experience"

Review by: FrequentFlyerMiles2 | Source: Trip Advisor
Every little detail was thought of in this stylish hotel. Breakfast is served in one of the most amazing places. Rooms are specious and wonderfully designed. Location is perfect. It's worth investing a little bit more and staying here. If we could we would move in. We will come back.

Dewakan: "What an unexpectedly amazing meal"

Review by: Mei T | Source: Trip Advisor
"My family surprised me with a birthday dinner. Initially I didn't want to go because its so far away from where we stay. Dewakan opens only for dinner and had its location inside a university college, which didn't make me think that it could be good. The roads leading towards it is really dark and it was raining. When we arrived to the restaurant, it was dark too and they had only 2 set choices in the menu. 5 course (RM180) or 10 course(RM240). It is also mentioned that everyone should order the same menu. So we ordered the 10 course. The food was excellent and very creative, using local produce to its best. There are some stuff that I had never tasted before and it was pure delight to savour the creation. Our RM240 menu consists of: 1. Cured mackerel with ulam, pomelo and local flowers 2. Roast mushrooms with green curry past, yogurt 3. Braised aubergine in mushroom stock, jackfruit seeds, garlic emulsion. 4. Home made noodles with prawns, radish, cold prawn broth (MY FAVORITE) 5. Pike Conger with custard, roasted okra, clams foam (my least favorite, taste fishy) 6. Roast duck breast with beetroots (very yummy) 7. Roasted quail with masala spice, serunding, century egg (very good too) 8. Mulberries wt cardamom ganache, cashew brittles, pucuk gajus (amazing flavors!) 9. Gula Melaka marquise, sour meringue, pulut ice cream (too sweet for me) 10. Warm Chocolate tart, with jackfruit, gandum icecream (Wow!) The amazing varied menu above totally attacks our senses and taste buds and it was a really lovely dinner. Service was good and efficient but towards the end slowed down a bit. And I guess we were really tired by then cos its 10 course, what else could we expect. Our full tummies and the dark room make us sleepy too. 10 course is really too much to handle. Next time, we must have the 5 course instead!"

Maisons Wat Kor: "Refined elegance; tranquil gardens; superb food . . .a charming, homely hotel"

Review by: skiliz | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent Christmas Eve at this wonderful hotel. An oasis of calm close to the river. You approach through mature gardens. The colonial style hotel is small but with many areas set aside for reading and relaxing including a lovely pool area Every attention has been paid to detail so decoration is understated but elegant. Christmas Eve meal was a special celebration. The menu was sophisticated. The food five star! Gentle background music was provided by local musicians. There was a short Cambodian traditional dance provided too. This was a special meal but believe that evening meal every night would be superb. Our continental breakfas included home made French bread and jams; home made yogurt and muesli. Options for other styles of breakfast were available. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The Manager and his wife (sorry forgotten their names) also came to chat. The hotel is a tuk tuk ride from the centre of Battambang. It's a pleasant, interesting ride along the river We only stayed one night but I would return and would thoroughly recommend"
