MesaStila: "Wonderful Relaxing Family Vacation"
"My family (wife, toddler and an infant) spent 3 days at MesaStila over the 2015 Chinese New Year. The facilities are wonderful and even with 3 nights stay we did not have enough time to enjoy all the amenities. Our 20 month old daughter loved the opportunity to run free in the grass and splash away in the shallow section of the pool. (...)The staff were very friendly and helpful with all requests. A wonderful time in a wonderful place."Jing’s Residence: "Terrific stay, best in Pingyao"
My family of four stayed 2 terrific nights at Jing's Residence in November 2016. The staff was incredibly attentive, and very engaging and friendly to our two young children. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic food, also. Location is perfect for exploring Pingyao, and the hotel can arrange a reasonably priced car and driver to nearby attractions. Highly recommend this hotel to stay, and the restaurant also. Pingyao - due in part to how much we liked Jing's Residence - was one of my favorite experiences in China over four years living here.Talabgaon Castle: "Iconic India"
"Beautiful heritage hotel. Extremely peaceful with helpful friendly staff. Nothing was too much bother. The hotel has recently been refurbished, but retains it's original features. Bedrooms are all en-suite with his and her washbasins and all modern conveniences. On arrival we were met by the owner who was extremely welcoming. There is a substantial pool. Food was well prepared and staff most attentive during a buffet dinner. Room Tip: Rooms are all quiet due to village location. Many first floor rooms look down on a fountained courtya..."Satri House: "Lovely Sanctuary"
Pluses - Perfect in almost every way. Beautiful property. Lovely staff. The deluxe room was gorgeous & the attached balcony was a charming addition to the space. We tried the spa - that was very good too, both facial & the relaxing oil massage. For breakfast, even if you're not a noodle lover, do try the chicken noodle soup. It's delicious! And a great way to start the day, either before a day at the temples or after the dawn pilgrimage of watching the monks' procession. A nice 10-15min leisurely stroll to the town centre. Complimentary bicycles provided if you want to ride. Oh, and look out for the elephant in the open enclosure across the street from the property!MesaStila: "One night stay, beautiful srroundings, will return"
"The resort is set in beautifully landscaped grounds with views of volcanoes in every direction. They also have a small coffee plantation onsite and the coffee itself is only available in the hotel. Rooms were huge and nicely fitted out. Would loved to have stayed longer, but was following a tight itinerary through central and eastern Java. Will return for sure. "Rachamankha: "Wonderful honeymoon"
"My husband and I spent a wonderful four days at the Rachamankha hotel during our time in Chiang Mai. The hotel feels like a quiet oasis and is beautifully decorated. The staff is incredible responsive and helped us get tuktuks and navigate the city. The breakfast was amazing (crepe and French toast) and we also had dinner there which was very good. The rooms are kept well air conditioned which was much appreciated during the heat we experienced."MesaStila: "A hidden treasure"
MesaStila wellness spa is an ideal getaway from the daily routines. The environment is pleasant, the view is gorgeous (I got a direct view of mount Telamaya from my villa), both the management and the crew are fully client service oriented and there are ample of activities prepared for guests throughout the days to keep us occupied, and the daily yoga classes is the winner for me.Anopura: "Still wonderful"
"We returned to Anopura after three years, and enjoyed it just as much as before. The remote setting is wonderful, the accommodation is excellent, and Ishwar and his team provide a wonderful service. Breakfast by the pool, lunch in the shade and dinner under the stars are all delightful, with fresh local ingredients. On a walk with Ishwar we got to meet some of the producers of the food we'd eaten in the days before. After five hectic weeks in Rajasthan this was a marvellous way to finish our trip. We would love to return again. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Bali: "Delightful"
My family and I totally enjoyed our time at Hotel Tugu. Amazing entrance with a world class selection of Asian antiques. The rooms were amazing and the food and staff were all superb. Forget the traffic and congestion of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak and head to Cangguu. Their Japanese restaurant, JI, is a mustThe Cabochon Hotel: "Excellent + cozy"
Well-appointed, comfortable and quiet. Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our month in Asia. A wonderful little hideaway amidst the madness of Bangkok's 10 million noise-makers. Don't sleep on the restaurant, either. It's quiet but truly exceptional.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
