Tugu Malang: "Classic and Traditional"

Review by: adn88 | Source: Trip Advisor
"What should I say about my amazing stay in Hotel Tugu Malang? The room was excellent. They even provided us with FREE high tea between 4-6PM and they served very very good Indonesian traditional cakes and desserts. They also gave us 10 minutes complimentary shoulder massage. This hotel is like a monument. They gave us a free tour of the hotel and so we can see different rooms offered. Unfortunately, we stayed only for a night. Definitely recommend this hotel if you go to Malang!! This is the best place to stay."

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "6 course vegetarian menu for $26 — reserve way in advance"

Review by: Hope K | Source: Trip Advisor
What a treat for vegetarians to enjoy a set menu at a fine dining establishment. We reserved way in advance and even then could not get the date we wanted (my birthday). Plan ahead. Food and service were excellent.

: "Instant Relaxation"

Review by: | Source:
"This is the most gorgeous place. Each of the 12 villas are dotted around the most beautiful, lush garden. Our double deluxe villa was large with a four poster bed covered by mosquito nets. The highlight was an outdoor shower and bathtub surrounded by more lush plants. A high stone wall giving complete privacy. The infinity pool overlooking the sea was another highlight. We enjoyed the breakfast options and two for one happy hour cocktails. The sunsets are spectacular. Ms. Narin and her staff were responsive to all our needs and looked after us so well. If you're looking for complete relaxation this is the place. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Maduzi Hotel: "Small, elegant, beautiful"

Review by: fadabing | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was the first time that I chose to stay in BKK at a smaller hotel. The choice is so varied and cheap in BKK that one is literally spoilt for choice. This one costs a little bit more but for that you essentially get a beautiful apartment like hotel room with every modern amenity and design feature. The breakfast is a pure joy in that it has the standard breakfast fair that most hotels do. The difference is in the quality and presentation. I felt loved and looked after by the staff who in quintessential Thai ways went out of their way to make me feel at home. Stayed December 2016, traveled solo"

Amata Lanna: "BEAUTIFUL JEWEL IN CHIANG MAI"

Small boutique hotel near the old town. Comfortable beds with quality linens. Large bathroom with shower & separate tub. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was included. I would definitely stay here again.

Samanea Beach Resort: "Best kept secret resort in Kep"

Review by: Nathantran | Source: Trip Advisor
One of the first thing that caught our eyes upon our arrival at the resort is how green this place is! Everywhere you can see shaded trees, flowers and tropical plants of all sorts and types-all are well manicured and arranged such that they seem to hug the bungalows in such a harmonious way! The resort itself is located on the side of Kep that's away from the tourist crowds! So here all you can hear and see was the soothing sound of crashing waves, of bird singing, and the evergreen color of the nearby mangroves...You truly felt immersed in nature, at peace with yourself and the environment. The staffs working here were just as friendly and comforting as the environment. They all greeted you with a genuine smile on their face, sometimes a little shy which was in itself charming. One of the managers, Jonathan had gone out of his way to make sure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay: from recommending the best crab restaurant in town to arranging complimentary transport to pick us up from the border crossing with Vietnam. The bungalow room was very spacious with a cozy living area. However, the most charming feature of the room is the outdoor shower and bath! Very relaxing and romantic to say the least! The resort was only five minutes tuk tuk ride from the crab market and restaurants so going out for dinner or shopping was very convenient.

The River Resort: "Wonderful service and a great hotel in every respect"

Review by: European123 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We came to the River Resort after a somewhat disappointing Mekong Cruise and felt we had landed in heaven. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern, the view of the river was beautiful. Dinner was excellent and since we had to leave before the restaurant opened in the morning they gave us a very good breakfast box. It is definitely a place we would stay at again."

MesaStila: "Another wonderful stay at Mesa Stila"

Review by: bmeadows2016 | Source: Trip Advisor
Another wonderful stay at Mesa Stila this Easter. We cannot rate this place highly enough. The staff go out of their way to take care of you, the setting is stunning, delicious food, beautiful villas, an amazing spa. This time we made the effort to do some exercise in the stretch and aquafit classes and were very grateful to Agus and Anam for pulling us into shape! Our thanks to the chefs for giving us the recipes to our favourite dishes, for Rosy and Slamet our lovely drivers, for Erni and her wonderful team in the spa and to Lily for answering all questions Indonesian. If you have a bucket list Mesa Stila should be on it!

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "The best of Cambodia"

Review by: Sevy23 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were picked up from the airport in Phnom Penh in the car arranged by 4 Rivers. It was a Toyota Camry, the driver was excellent, we felt safe driving through the traffic of Phnom Penh. After about 1.5 hrs we stopped for refreshments at a roadside restaurant that had the cleanest toilets ever. As we got out of the city traffic the scenery got more and more rural with great views of village life. It took us about 4.5hrs to reach the reception on the banks of the River Tatai. Our luggage was loaded on to the boat and we left straight away for the 30 minute transfer to the floating lodge. As we passed the final bend in the river the lodge came into view. What a sight!!. We were met at the lodge by Adonis who showed us to our tent and gave us information about the lodge. The tent was well appointed and had the most amazing view of local village houses on the opposite bank. We chose the last tent on the west side of the lodge and felt at one with the river. We relaxed on the pontoon during parts of the day soaking up the sun and spent the rest of the time with our guide ""By"" (I think that is the spelling) He took us on a trip to a local fishing village and introduced us to the local people. He gave us an unforgettable experience and enabled us to get a real view of the hard lives of the fishing community and some of the environmental challenges they face now and in the future. We finished the trip by kayaking into the mangroves and By's local knowledge made our time so special. The following day he took us out again at dawn on a short Jungle trek. We saw some wildlife but the high lite for us was seeing the school children arriving for classes at the local school we were able to pop into the class and see the children in their lessons. Really special. The evenings were so serene the sunsets were amazing whilst swimming in the river. At night the staff continue to impress with tasty cocktails and great food. (you choose you meals in the afternoon when one of the staff visits you at your tent). The food here is first class nice authentic Khmer cuisine with more western options for those who prefer. They also offer reasonably priced wine by the bottle or glass (yes wine in the jungle). Before dinner there is also the option to see the fireflies. All aboard the boat for a short trip down the river. Then lights out engine off as you drift slowly down stream looking for the fireflies. Really special we did it twice. We spent 3 nights at the lodge and I must say this was the most memorable part of our time in Cambodia. All the staff were amazing and it was an honour to meet them and hear about their lives living and working in this most unspoilt part of the world. Thanks to everyone at 4 Rivers. We wont forget any of you and will cherish our memories. Room Tip: The tents at the end of the row are more private"

Villa Song Saigon: "Excellent"

Review by: jasonso2017 | Source: Trip Advisor
The environment is great, the food is nice and staffs are friendly. There was a musical function at night during our stay, they provided us a round trip free taxi ride to district 1 for dinner. The boat ride to the city center is one of the great experience.
