Villa Song Saigon: "Loved it"
"We stayed for two nights, it is a peaceful location and the rooms nicely appointed, the bed was supportive which made for a restful night. The breakfasts were from a menu I had the pho which was very tasty. The evening meals are more western than Vietnamese and beautifully presented and tasty. Being picky, I'd prefer a greater focus on Vietnamese flavours A lovely hotel out of the chaos associated with the central city. The regular boat into city was convenient and when you returned from the city the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel is reinforced."Talabgaon Castle: "Unreal Experience"
"My wife and I recently visited this resort on our trip from San Francisco and could not have been happier with our stay. It is a beautiful property and the staff could not have been more hospitable. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the food was fantastic. We stopped here for a night in between Agra and Jaipur. It is in the countryside so it is a very tranquil and peaceful setting when compared to the city. We were treated like royalty at this 200+ year old castle that was recently restored to this beautiful resort. The resort sits on 100 acres with expansive lawns, a pool, gardens, and a polo field. It is a perfect place to spend a night or two to unwind and get way from the hustle and bustle of India. 5+ stars across the board. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "really fine dinning"
"located by the lake settled on contempory house Seeds is one of the best restaurant in town the ambiance is nice with the open kitchen simple furnitures and great lighting display service is efficient food is really good we tasted the foie gras, raviolis, beaf with fruits, creative receipes with fresh amd tasty ingredients of course it s little bit expansive for Yangon but it s worth it"Maison Polanka: "Great place!"
"Had a lovely time with my wife and 2 daughters, staff... food...room... everything was perfect to the end. Having a restaurant in France, I know all the trouble employees and managers are going thru to make everything perfect, and it was a success thanks to all of them. Keep the good work! And definitly see you next year! Best regards. QUÉGUINER Erwan."Mie Cafe: "Beautiful and serene restaurant for foodies"
"Our relative from Phnom Penh recommended this restaurant and I am so glad we got a reservation during our stay in Siem Reap. The setting is an old Khmer Villa, beautiful garden and ponds with Koi fish. We sat on the lower floor, which I think is the better choice. We started with a cocktail to give us time to study the interesting menu. The menu included several local twists on traditional foods as well as several fish dishes from the nearby Tonle Sap. We selected a combination of fish and meat dishes and they were all good. Picking a favorite is tricky, but the risotto with fish was very popular. The kids had fish fingers and chicken nuggets, all made from fresh ingredients and popular with the children. For dessert we had ice cream, fried bananas, and the popular chocolate cake. My son got most of it into his stomach, but the rest of the chocolate cake was in his face as our full and happy group left this great restaurant. Don't miss this gem of a restaurant in Siem Reap."Villa Song Saigon: "A gem in HCMC"
Wow! What can I say. This hotel is testament to the power of social media and Trip Advisor. A perfect place to stay in HCMC that I probably would otherwise never have known about to book. The hotel was previously the home of a wealthy local family and has been converted into a boutique hotel and renovated. It has the charm of Raffles, has one of my favourite architectures (French colonial), has a perfect location right on the river and offers all modern facilities. They served my favorite breakfast every day (bircher museli and eggs benedict) and the bircher was trendily served in its component parts so I could create my perfect cereal. Access to a private boat to get to the centre of the city seemed extravagant and for my children (aged 4, 7 and 10) was like an extra excursion that they looked forward to every day. A true gem and highly recommended!MesaStila: "A peaceful sanctuary"
"MesaStila Resort and Spa is very serene and quiet; it is lovely for a getaway to do some writing, reading and relaxing. Our room (Aroum Villa) also had an outdoor day bed area which had the view of Mt Andong which was terrific. The room came with a bath tub which was nice to soak in and just while the time away. The room also had all the necessary amenities to make it a comfortable stay. The staff also made our bed and refilled the water twice a day. We also had complimentary fruits, and desserts in the evening. I would definitely recommend this to friends who are intending to have a short getaway, and I must say the staff at the resort made the stay very comfortable; they were attentive to our needs, and made us feel at home. We had a cycling trip to Candi Umbul and Grabag market, and our guide Nur made the experience very worthwhile. We also had a Sunrise tour at Borobodur and it was breathtaking. The tour guide, Latiff, provided many insights into the culture and philosophy of the Buddhists, and shared information about Indonesia as well. My friend and I didn't manage to try the Hammond spa (which was award-winning) and we would love to do so when we next visit MesaStila. One minor quip I had was how the menu was the same for the 4 days we were there; if there could be more variety, it would have made the resort experience perfect. My friend and I particularly liked the Indonesia dishes (at dinner) and the breakfast menu - A recommended dish would be the Nasi Goreng (fried rice). You can choose either red or white rice for the said dish, and we had the red rice option; I must say, it was a pleasant surprise! I particularly liked the muesli at breakfast - the breakfast was hearty and kept us filled for the day. I can go on about how lovely our experience at MesaStila was, but I'm afraid my words would not do justice to it; you would just have to experience it. They have thought out activities to keep their guests occupied (as the resort is situated rather far away from the city area) and have gone the extra mile to make the experience unforgettable for their guests. Lastly, I would recommend having tea at the Club House; it is calming and relaxing and the pastries went well with their wide selection of teas (and coffee). I truly had a reinvigorating time at the resort; I invite you to experience the same."MesaStila: "Peace and Silent"
I stayed on weekday and I impressed with service of the staff, the landscape, the view, the touch of luxury in this resort. this experience remind me of my childhood memories. for you who are looking for a place to escape from busy and noisy city life, mesa is a great place to be consider.Tugu Lombok: "Vacaciones inolvidables"
Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Such a great addition to our honeymoon"
What an amazing experience, and so great to see that everywhere we turned, the camp was working to conserve the environment. Whether it be the tents surrounded by trees or the supply of clean drinking water into glass bottles, it is visible to see that Noel, Cecile and the team are really working alongside our environment, not against it. We were able to see all animals, except the sloth bear (which we didn't mind missing out on, due to their elusive nature), and only participated in 3 of the 4 game drives (due to wanting quiet time during our honeymoon). The staff are amazingly helpful and courteous and knowledgeable, and will even run to your rescue at midnight if you hear something in the bushes as there's mobile phones provided for anything of the like. The traditional food is nothing short of AMAZING! My husband is the fussiest eater and was a tad worried beforehand to say the least, but enjoyed almost everything put in front of him and not once went hungry (quite the opposite!). The honeymoon tent was a little out of our budget, so we chose to stay in the 'normal' couple tent, however were definitely not disappointed. I'm definitely going to have trouble getting my husband to come 'normal' camping again! It's very comfortable, spacious and 'glamorous' for bush standards! And perhaps the coolest part was meeting so many incredible people from around the world who were there too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can see - highly recommend for anyone visiting Sri Lanka :)
