Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Amazing Hotel"
Cheong Fatt Tze - Blue Mansion is an amazing place to stay. The mansion is beautiful, and very well restored. It is fantastic to stay in such an historic building; you feel back in time. The breakfast is ok, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved it.The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Indochine Cool"
Reminiscent of French colonial style, this hip little hotel delivers big time. Rooms are airy, beautiful and well appointed. The roof-top pool, long enough for laps, affords spectacular vistas of this booming city. Most of Bangkok's happening restaurants are nearby. (We tried Paste, Bo Lan, and Gaggan--all of them sensational). Rates include a delicious breakfast. The nearby skytrain eases travel around the city. Take a business card from the hotel desk just in case you need to take a cab back. The Cabochon is tiny and not necessarily well known.Satri House: "Perfect stylish getaway oasis"
"The whole setting of the hotel is very artsy, decorated beautifully with attention to detail and resembles the place it used to be perfectly. A quiet oasis in the middle of Luang Prabang with large, comfortable rooms, a nice pool, a very nice spa with knowledgeable staff, the whole staff team very attentive and lovely. It invites to meander around the premises, sit here and there, read, listen to the monks chanting in the nearby monastery sometimes, and just BE. Appreciated the NOT having a TV screen anywhere, no music, no noises at all, just nature. Breakfast was lovely and very good. One thing I would love to see improve - there is too much good coffee in Laos - but this was not incorporated in the menu - yet. Coffee was good but for coffee lovers could be improved."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Waaaaay Beyond All Expectations"
"I've been to many other countries in Asia and Europe and stayed in more expensive hotels but CFTM so far, is the best I've been to. The hotel itself is grand and absolutely beautiful with a most interesting and colorful history. The staff was wonderful and performed way beyond expectations. It was my birthday and I found a floral arrangement plus a birthday card when I returned to my hotel in the evening. Within minutes of my return to my room that day, a staff arrived bearing a birthday cake. Then I had problems with my wifi and within minutes, someone arrived with a portable broadband. I expressed admiration for the homemade jams, particularly a certain type and within half an hour a complimentary bottle arrived in my room. Incredibly Wow. Impressive. Awesomest. Everything about CFTM and it's staff is to be expressed in the superlatives. Ps. If you are looking for airconditioned reception, sterile looking hallways, stainless steel and chrome fittings, this is not the place for you. But if you are interested in history and culture, by all means, stay here please. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo"Cuca: "Favourite restaurant"
We went to Cuca on our last night in Jimbaran, saving the best for last! Such a beautiful setting and the staff are lovely. The meal is tapas style, beautifully presented and delicious. Everyone should experience Cuca at least onceMudanwan Villa: "Tranquil and GREAT hot spring facilities!"
"I have stayed in Mudanwan for 2 night with my family. We got a big room on the ground floor with our own hot spring pool and swimming pool in the back yard (privacy guaranteed), a large bathroom with another indoor hot spring pool, two king size beds, and it was just fabulous!!! We went for a full board package and the food was just gorgeous and fresh! There's a 24 hr juice/snack bar too. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the services were just great. We really had a fantastic time there. Although the location is really in the middle of nowhere, they do offer a nice shuttle service."tugu lombok: "A place to unwind, forget the hustle and bustle……relax!"
"We wanted a place in the warm tropics with green gardens, a beach to comb, comfortable accommodation away from the madding crowd. Tugu ticked all our boxes and then some....the heart of Tugu most definitely is the wonderful compliment of staff. We were really made to feel most welcome, nothing was too much trouble for anyone....a very big thank you to you all. "Tugu Bali: "Amazing accommodations"
"We absolutely LOVED Tugu hotel in Canggu. The location is perfect, the service is AMAZING and the food was delicious. The suites are breathtaking, ours came with a fruit basket of local fruit. The bathroom was half outdoors, filled with flowers and was surrounded by a Koi pond with a beautiful ladle to pour water traditionally. We also had a private pool in our back yard which was a tropical paradise. You have amazing options for seating indoors or out when dining, and the complimentary afternoon tea was diving. "MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Beautiful place"
It is a beautiful place surrounded by nature. You would be able to hear birds singing and the wind blowing from morning to night. It is truly a relaxing place. The food at the restaurant is wonderful and the staffs are excellent. They are very attentive and will remember personal requests. It is a place to appreciate the history and the culture behind the resort. It is the place to enjoy the nature but if anybody is in to modern style they should think again.Rachamankha: "A wonderful hotel to experience"
We visited Chaing Mai in early November, 2017. Travelling were my wife and I, plus our son and his wife. We booked a two-room suite for 4 nights at Rachamankha and were absolutely delighted with everything about this wonderful hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean and modern. The buildings and grounds are gorgeous and the pool and public spaces are very inviting and provide a relaxing retreat after a busy day of visiting temples, markets, and the many other sites in and around Chaing Mai. The complimentary breakfast is fabulous and we were warmly greeted each morning by Ahwu who, along with the rest of the staff, provided excellent service. The location in a relatively quite corner of the old city couldn't be more convenient for walking or riding. As a bonus, it's just around the corner from SP Chicken which serves the most delicious (and inexpensive) grilled chicken ever! I would most certainly stay at Rachamankha again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chaing Mai.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
