Hotel Tugu Malang: "Great historical place!"
"We had a pleasure to stay at Tugu. This hotel is like a museum -- antique collections from through out Java with some twist of local chinese immigrants house in a very nice Dutch colonial era building(s). Do not miss the complimentary afternoon teatime and snacks. You will also enjoy Melati restaurant located next to the swimming pool serving great traditional and western dishes. I recommend the ZAMRUD room (a step up) — larger than king size bed, huge handmade round bathtub and so on. We wish we had more time to explore the hotel. Perhaps next time."Talabgaon Castle: "Best of India"
"I can't begin to express how incredibly gracious the manager and staff are and how hard they worked to make sure our stay was nothing short of magical. Do yourself a favor and add this to your itinerary if exploring Northern India. We went to Jaipur right after by car and driver. So this was definitely doable, even if just for one night. Be sure to get cash out before you arrive and come hungry. The chef is fantastic. They have a bar and a beautiful pool on the property as well. Safe travels! "It's an amazing place! Peaceful, quiet! Excellent staff, organized such a great bday celebration! Resort has kind of ""a private beach"" with umbrellas and chairs. Houses are away one from each other, so you have a great view from your accommodation. Food at the resort is just the best - the best one I've tried in Malaysia! And very inexpensive! Prices for accommodation is cheaper during the weekdays. To get to the island you can by boat from a pier in KK."Samanea Beach Resort: "Perfect for Honeymoon!"
"This resort has everything you can ask for! An amazing, comfortable room with four poster bed, a small lounge and an open bath! The food is superb. the resort is just next to the sea ( though you cant get inside the water, but the beautiful shore and pier make up for it). Slightly away from the city centre, since you need to take a tuk tuk to the crab market or the beach. Overall it is quiet, peaceful and ultra romantic! "Stepping onto the compound (after trying to find the place), you just know privacy is what you'll be getting. Quickly greeted by the person manning the front counter, you know you're in good hands. At least I did. I arrived later than my partner did but the fact that this frontdesk person knew who I was showed a level of care in who the guests are. It's amazing despite having strict rules, it's really for the best benefit for everyone including ourselves. The place is fancy in its simplicity and rest assured the absence of cell service isn't a disservice but exactly what every person that comes down here needs! It is a getaway... And a great one. We didn't plan for this trip and just settled for beds in the dorm. Honestly I've stayed at backpackers and when you think dorm some or many might cringe.. But if more dorms were like these, I'm definitely going to stay in dorms more! The facilities are amazing. I mean, yes 6 beds (3 bunk beds) in the room but it's there for sleep which is fine and the bathroom attached to it is the best with running hot water so it's definitely all good! The absence of a TV is expected of a dorm room but seriously there wasn't a need for a TV (that's what the TV room is for at the main building... And there are books too!!) Now this place isn't for kids and it's good they made it strict with no kids under the age of 12 (or so I'm told) and that makes sense because the whole point of the trip is to relax and chill and laze and be free from the hustle and bustle of life. And that's what you'd do. I spent most of my time on the lawn chair just looking at the pool. Occasionally going in the pool being a hippo or whatever water mammal that just lazes in the water. Besides just looking at the pool you'd definitely pick up any reading material (I opted for comics) and just remain on your back. Relaxed. Did I mention you'll just be relaxing and not be doing nothing much? Coz it's just that freaking good. Service was actually the best as the people there would check to see if you need anything. The kitchen closes early at 8 pm so by 5 pm the dinner order has to be made which is cool because they do tell you that so no point to whine about it. Food was amazing and I was overwhelmed by the portion of pasta I got. I mean I'm a pasta monster and can really down it but this one I wasn't able to finish. It's cool coz it's creamy pasta and no one can really down a whole lot of that when I think about it.. The bar is open till 11pm so that's cool. Reasonably priced food as it shows in the quality and prep. Oh and breakfast was included in the room cost which being complimentary, they offer basic breakfast choices of either English breakfast or pancakes. Cereal is there too and that's all you can eat. I think. All in all, place is sweet and definitely going to be a regular thing. Possibly. Likely . Kudos to the people who made it work so well!! Highly recommended for those needing a break. Room Tip: If you're on a budget, get the dorm room. Dorm room (Jala) opposite the dining area is better th... Back to this charming resort. Everything is magic, decoration, situation over a rice field and such a nice service. Special greeting to Karine the hotel manager who is a truly customer oriented person. Last but not the least, because we are in Bali also for food ... the Terra Cotta restaurant is just amazing, quality and tasty. We will come back again soon. The Hue House: "Lovely Place with good food"
"Should to come with a special person of you from 04hPm to enjoy the sunset at this rooftop Res, enjoy wine and scenery on this place. Open space with good food. Just take a time to come here have dinner when you traveling in HCMC, will be the opportunity to explore for sure."Tugu Bali: "One of the best"
Beautiful gardens, luxurious accommodation, out of this world lobby featuring antiques and art collection. However, the best of this hotel is the service. I unfortunately became seriously ill from a previous dining experience at another hotel whilst in Bali. Jenny the Manager (and her amazing staff) went above and beyond to assist my husband and I. Jenny personally escorted us to an international hospital where I needed to stay. Jenny and her staff ensured my husband was ok in my absence and provided daily transport to the hospital and assisted with organising my travel insurance. Jenny...I cant thank you and your team enough. You should be so proud of your beautiful hotel but also of your amazing team. I cant wait to come back and actually eat some of the food (my husband said the Nasi Goreng was the best he ate in Bali!). Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.Satri House: "Really lovely!"
I looked at many, many hotels online for Luang Prabang and could not have been happier with my choice. This property is absolutely lovely - a serene and tranquil escape after busy days of sightseeing! The staff could not have been more hospitable and accommodating, and the food was great! Stayed for a week utilizing all the various services - dining room for a variety of meals, pool, spa, bar, library - all terrific. Special kudos to the staff who were truly so nice!Neeleshwar Hermitage: "“Beautiful resort – well suited for relaxation”"
"During our 1800km TukTuk challenge from Mumbai to Kanyakumari, we had a two night stay at the resort. On arrival at the hotel after a tiring rickshaw drive, we were greeted and offered fresh coconut water as welcome drink. We were fortunate to have a rest day at the tranquil resort - far from the madding crowd. The accommodation/bungalows were clean and well furnished. The food was good and staff very friendly, courtious and eager to help. It has a clem beach and swimming in the sea was very enjoyable. It's the place to go to for a quiet, restful and relaxing holiday. We also had a 'thank you' card from the manager before we departed - you don't see this often. We would love to go there again for a longer stay. Stayed November 2016, traveled with friends"
