Villa Song: "Boutique hotel, away from busy city"
If you are coming to Ho Chi Minh and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, then this is the place to stay. The Villa Song Saigon is a very boutique-like hotel nestled in the ex-pat district of Ho Chi Minh. We immediately sensed we were in the nicer area of town, as gated estates filled the street. Although it is a longer taxi ride to get into town, the hotel does offer a complimentary boat shuttle into the city center. This ride takes about 15 minutes. The hotel rooms are very clean and breakfast is complimentary. They added a special touch by providing us a honeymoon cake. The staff was very friendly and we highly enjoyed our stay.Reverie Siam Pai: "One of my favourites hotels"
"This is a romantic, quite, nice, retro, luxury, clean, beautiful, dreadful, peaceful hotel with charm and also with great team, nice environment cute swimming pool, perfect breakfast, comfortable bed... I can only say positive adjectives and really nice memories of time I’ve spend there, I really hope to come back again.... and again and again. I’ve been only one time there, but I hope to come back. Only tell than has no Spa, but is a really luxury one at 1 minute walking. Staff are so so helpful, with car they pick and drop you as you need, don’t charge for it, because they go to village every half or hour. Walking, Pai city center is near, probably around 15 minutes but car is more comfortable and street to go to hotel has no interest. Hotel is located on city but not on center."Glenburn Tea Estate: "An Amazing Experience"
"The most ideal location for relaxation . Situated in a valley surrounded by pristine forests , this tea estate is a jewel . The hotel has eight beautifully done rooms and to find an accommodation during the peak season is difficult . Visiting this place I realised why it is so popular among international tourists as well as domestic travellers . You can relax here with a book or take trekking trips according to your preference . The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. Several cups of the best of teas can be tasted here throughout the day , the iced tea being my favourite . The tea factory tour is a must do. The Kanchenjunga , seen from the estate, with it's snow capped peaks , bathed by the morning sunlight was indeed a treat for the eyes"Labyrinth: "Fantastic Dining Experience"
Fantastic experience and very unique concept to local Singaporean food. I rang the restaurant 2 days earlier to check on the menu and mentioned we were celebrating my partner's birthday and the restaurant served us a cake with a candle at the end of the meal! That was really unexpected and a very pleasant evening. Thank you JosephAmata Lanna: "Traditional Oasis in Chang Mai"
An absolute must on your visit to Chang Mai. Beautiful traditional Thai rooms comfortable, clean and with lovely decor. The staff are delightful, friendly and extremely helpful. Delicious breakfasts served every day poolside. The location is perfect near to the night market restaurants and within walking distance to other attractions. Loved our stay here and would definitely return.Inle Princess Resort: "A few suggestions"
"I don't need to say much more about the quality of this hotel or the beauty of its location. Go to Myanmar. Go to Inle Lake. Stay at the Inle Princess. Here, though, are a few tips for those who do follow the directives above: 1. Take advantage of the complimentary shoe shine. 2. There really isn't any charge for the beer in the mini-bar. 3. The hotel leaves earplugs in the room (presumably for those whose sleep might be disturbed by frogs and lizards). You may not need the earplugs during the night, but hold onto them, because they are very useful on the boats, which have very loud outboard motors. 4. The boat tour of the lake is essential. Make sure to include a visit to a local market. The basic boat tour lasts for one day, but it is a very long day (especially if you start with the market), so you should consider splitting the tour and doing it over two days. 5. When you visit the village of the silversmiths, avoid the large shop at the entrance to the village -- the one with the tiny workshop staffed by ""brothers"" who play with their cell phones until a tourist boat arrives and a large showroom stuffed with overpriced silver that must come from China. 6. The artisanal workshops on the village side of the hotel are definitely worth a visit. 7. Eat the Shan noodles for breakfast -- order them the evening before."Villa Song Saigon: "Villa Song, an oasis of calm in Saigon"
Beautiful hotel, luxurious rooms and facilities. All the staff are so friendly and take care to ensure your stay is perfect. To sit by the river for breakfast is magical; didn't want to leave. Everything they do, they do so, so well. Although a short stay, so memorable, wish I was still there Location rated as excellent, a bonus not to be right in the city centre. The hotel speed boat service to the city centre is fantastic. Taxis cheap and plentiful if it's not available.MesaStila: "Have made plans to come back"
"We were impressed by the resort from the moment we arrived - and it only got better. The service level of the staff was exceptional, without being intrusive. Mbak Lily was very helpful during our stay, and everyone else we met there was equally hospitable. We enjoyed our room with the view of the Mt. Andong - breathtaking view to wake up to. Room was spacious and comfortable, furnished with antique Javanese pieces. Just beautiful. Food was excellent - wine collection can be improved though. We enjoyed the Coffee Plantation Walk and the Yoga class, and would like to try the Mountain Trekking on our next visit. One of the many highlights of our stay was the Hammam Spa, which is definitely not to be missed!"CABOCHON: "Counting the days until I can go back"
"If you're reading through these reviews then I think you have already made up your mind to stay here. And you are making the right decision!! This has to be the best little boutique hotel to stay in Bangkok. The service is 5 star and the decor of the hotel makes you want to fully unpack and call it your new home. When I go back, I will make sure I stay a whole week. 2 nights was so short that I almost cried leaving. Do not miss the restaurant! I wish we had had more than one dinner there. Absolutely amazing and smaller plates so you can try a lot! Thank you Cabochon! Cheers to the next gin and tonic on the secret garden on the garage rooftop! "Cuca: "Deliciosa experiencia"
