Amata Lanna: "Hidden jem"
"This is the second time we have stayed here and hopefully not the last. The owner and staff are amazing and very helpful. We stayed in the same room as before which overlooks the lovely little pool. Room is a good size with a large bathroom with both shower and large bath. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was always a delight with both Asian and western choices. I understand that the owners are having a second hotel built,if the same standards are kept up it can only be a great success."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Peace, Tranquility & Comfort."
"My title epitomises Neeleshwar Hermitage. This was our 3rd visit & it was as good or better than the previous 2 visits. For absolute peace, tranquility & as a stress buster from our hectic schedules Neeleshwar is the place to go to. The rooms are big & spacious, the bathrooms even bigger & a nice clean swimming pool. To add to this you have the beach & ocean right at your doorstep.... what more can one ask for. This beautiful resort is located 15mins from Bekal fort & a 2 hr drive from Mangalore in the quiet town of Neeleshwaram. Now coming to the staff, Jayan & his team have perfected the art of being perfect hosts. Hospitality oozes from them & they are ever smiling. The food has improved a lot since our last visit & they have more variety of dishes. Shashi & his team are willing to satisfy your taste buds. Basically 5 Stars to all the support staff.... Melbin, Rajitha, the head chef to name just a few. Thanks to all of them for making our trip memorable. Getting to see the Theyyam ritual was a added bonus."Babe: "Excellent Food, wonderful Dining Experience"
At our 3 day stopver in KL we had on our last night diner at chef Jeff Ramsey's Babe restaurant and we're sorry not to have gone one night earlier, because we would have come again a 2nd time. The food was just excellent, and the overall dining experience outstanding. We had the 12 course Japas (Japanese Tapas) Tasting Menu for 450 Ringit (they also offer a simpler one for 350 and a premium version for 750 Ringit), and all 12 dishes had been at least very good, some of them absolutely outstanding: the Caramelized Monfish Liver was an explosion of different flavours and had a smooth but still crunchy texture. The Wagy Nigiri was remarkable in quality of meat as well as preparation. A dish named World's Juiciest Lamb Chop lived up to it's label. On top of the excellent food the service was absolutely friendly and competent, which enhanced the overall dining experience. The selection of wine served by the glass was limited, but both the 2 whites (a NZ Sauvignong and a Chilean Gewuerztraminer) and the 2 reds (a Californian Merlot and a Bordeaux) we had were very good. Lastly, the location is fantastic: the restaurant offers a panorama view of the KL skyline, best appreciated from one of the outside tables, recommend strongly to ask for pooldeck (i.e. outside) seating when offered the choice at the reservation. We definitely will go again if we come to KL.Cuca: "Gastronomic delight"
A womderful find in Bali nestled in a beautiful setting. The food is brilliant and service is excellent. Its mostly sharing/tapas styled food with a twist. Sophisticated dining in a relaxed environment!Sanak Retreat Bali: "Une belle surprise"
"Une vue sublime sur les rizières, des hébergements spacieux et joliment décorés, une approche éco responsable et une très bonne table. Le service est à la hauteur et les activités proposées (balades, spa...) agrémentent utilement le séjour. Le genre d'endroit idéal pour se reposer, simple et de bon goût"Jings-residence: "A haven of peace"
"We stayed at Jing's Residence for 2 nights and this was really a wonderful experience. After the noise and the crowd of the city , Jing's Residence offers a quiet and peaceful environment, sophisticated yet making you feel like in a friend's or family home. From the rooms and exquisite decoration, to the restaurant and the staff, everything was perfect. We celebrated my father's birthday there and the staff was very kind and thoughtful. I also tested the spa which was a very pleasant moment. This is truly one of our best experience in China."Glenburn Tea Estate: "Relaxing Peaceful Stay"
"A beautiful place under the shadows of Darjeeling and majestic view of Towering Kanchanjenga. Located on a ridge surrounded by tea plantation. Spacious accommodation with large rooms beautifully decorated with cultural paintings. Food is excellent with menu different every day. That whole staff is courteous and ever smiling. Plenty of activities which can be arranged by the management if you want to keep yourself occupied. Otherwise, relax and read a book under a tree, listening to chirping birds which are quite in number. Except for the approach road the place is ideal for people looking for serenity from the hustle bustle of city life. Hospitality covers all the little difficulties if one feels. I am surely recommending to all my friends and relatives. Experience worth it. Jemima keep up the good work and all the best to your staff for taking care of us. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"CABOCHON HOTEL & RESIDENCE: "Bangkok’s Finest Boutique Hotel"
Every time I visit Bangkok, Cabochon is my accommodation choice. In fact, I've stayed there five times. And each time, the experience was better than the last. I love the old world charm, chic colonial decor, delicious breakfast, and warm and sincere service. Its restaurant Thai Lao Yeh serves good Isan inspired cuisine. The shaved ice desserts are to diet for. The location is convenient, just 10 mins walk to Bangkok's newest mall EMQuartier. The very hip Sing Sing Theatre is a stone's throw away. Cabochon is a must stay if you love original non-cookie cutter hotels. I'll definitely be back!Reverie Siam: "Beautiful oasis"
"My husband and I have lived in South East Asia for over three years. We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many boutique hotels. Seldom have we seen one this beautiful. It is very hard to improve on the reviews that have already been written about this place. We drove up the mountain out of Chang Mai and came to Pai for a little business. While there is not much to do here, this hotel would provide an awesome quiet rest. The grounds are stunning, the service was excellent, the food was amazing and quite unusual for this part of the country. Our room was lovely all the extra amenities here were very thoughtful. It is the most pricey hotel in this area but not unreasonable by Western standards. The (tuk Tuk) service to town every evening was a nice touch. Would highly highly recommend this place – you would not be disappointed. Wish we could take this place home with us- Cambodia. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Rahai’i Pangun: "Best jungle boat experience"
My first jungle experience in Borneo on a beautiful wood boat, excellent food and friendly staff. Loved it!
