Satri House: "A hidden gem"

Review by: brenda l | Source: Trip Advisor
"A beautiful hotel on the outskirts of town. Lovely gardens and buildings full of artefacts. A bit of a maze but great to explore all the nooks and crannies. Large bedroom and bathroom and comfy beds. Breakfast wasn’t buffet but good choice and nicely presented. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend."

Rahai’i Pangun: "A Major Highlight of my Borneo Adventure!!"

Review by: katblue | Source: Trip Advisor
"I went on a 4 day cruise up the Rungan River with Wow Borneo and had a wonderful time. The staff were outstanding, very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was really healthy and tasty. The boat itself was open, airy and comfortable & I loved sitting on the top deck watching life on the river. My very comfortable double room had a private BR and a small private deck as well as air con/fan to keep cool. It was totally worth the slurge! We were fortunate to see a good variety of orangutans on the various pre-release islands on the Rungan River. It was a real privilege to see these beautiful creatures fairly close up in a natural setting. I feel hopeful that most will be fully released into the wild. Like the reviewer before me suggested, I'd recommend you go soon. There were lots of gold dredges on the river banks & the sad reality is that these small operations use mercury to extract the gold which is released into the river poisoning everything downstream. It makes me sad because this is precious habitat for the local people and of course the orangutans."

David’s Kitchen: "Almost wheel-barrowed out!"

Review by: roylamsam | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife and I were celebrating a year after getting married in Chiang Mai. There were whispers around town that David's kitchen was an excellent restaurant and we decided to chance our luck and book a day in advance. Luckily enough we managed to get a table and our dining experience surpassed anything we imagined! Everything was lovely. The ambience, the company, the setting, the staff, David himself came to chat to us (interesting man!) and the whole restaurant was thoroughly enjoying itself immensely. Most importantly, the food was incredible. We tried the escargot, the pumpkin soup, the signature beef cheek as well as the bourguignon. After that, we couldn't help but try their desserts in the sticky toffee pudding and the chocolate souffle. By the end of it, we were so relaxed, happy and content that indefinitely felt like we needed to be wheel-barrowed out of the restaurant. I offer my highest recommendation to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Food lovers would leave David's Kitchen saying Chiang Mai definitely has a top restaurant in town.

Villa Song Saigon: "Superb"

Review by: Martin D | Source: Trip Advisor
"Great hotel - peaceful retreat from the Saigon hustle, complete with complementary speedboat service to and from the city centre (20 minutes by boat)! Excellent anytime of day breakfast service, and for a city hotel, a really good pool-size"

The Hue House: "Great place for authentic Hue cuisine"

Review by: Candy T | Source: Trip Advisor
Very nice rooftop view with the great astmophere, can make you feel like you're in Hue. The food was so awsome and exotic with stranger names like Cao Lau, com Am Phu... The owner is very funny and friendly.

David’s Kitchen: "Great food, wonderful host, fantastic experience"

Review by: Trip Advisor | Source: jeromeng2109
This was a gem. David greeted us when we arrived and appeared genuinely interested in where we came from. Menu offered a broad range of dishes from local Thai to European fare. If you have guests who have different tastes, this is definitely the place to go. Service was personalized and attentive. Food was tasty and absolutely delightful. Great selection of wine and the bartender was accommodating to my partner's request for a specific drink mix. Chill environment amidst the high energy of old Chiang Mai. Reservations highly recommended.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Fantastic! A must to be here"

Review by: Langzimmer | Source: Trip Advisor
This camp is one of my best experience during my journey in Sri Lanka. I can really recommend this place. Everything is very good organized, everyone from staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic! Best food ever in whole Sri Lanka. Price is absolute justified. Safari trip was very nice too, staff is very competent, even on safari are drinks and snacks organised!

Talabgaon Castle: "Travelsphere group"

Review by: Kevin S | Source: Trip Advisor
"Amazing, amazing, first class. Stunning, welcomed on the first day with red carpet, marigold garland and lunch on the lawn. Food fabulous, rooms are gobsmacking, beautiful, like a dream. Staff could not be more welcoming and friendly. Slept like a dream in a fairy tale bedroom. The village before you get there is interesting and the local people and children were waving as we drove by. Loved it. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"

Tugu Bali: "Great place to stay"

Review by: MayaM3 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Tugu is comfortable, staff pay a lot of attention to your every need, very baby friendly. Breakfasts were great. Pool was a great respite from the heat (especially as the beach is more of a surfer's paradise). The rooms are very well designed with attention to detail. Every corner has a little, fascinating curio to be discovered. The sound of the beach in the distance is very calming. however, there are a few bars/clubs on the street behind which might have some loud music thumping into the night - you may or may not be perturbed by this. Great bars and restaurants near by and a few metres away from the beach. We'll definitely consider the Tugu for our next stay. Room Tip: all rooms have their own charm"

Supanniga Eating Room: "Nice desserts and ambience"

Review by: Elizabeth C | Source: Trip Advisor
Nice and flavorful food. Service was good. Nice crowd. Not too rowdy. Ideal for family or dates. Pricing is considered higher when compared to Bangkok standard.
