Manda De Laos: "Great food fabulous setting"

Review by: jeff_motueka | Source: Trip Advisor
The Manda de Laos is set among several lotus ponds. Our hotel had made a reservation for us and we had a table positioned to enjoy the sunset. That was our only disappointment of the night as the clouds rolled in at the wrong time. Everything else was perfect. My buffalo was tender as and my wife's duck fabulous. This is not a cheap eat but worth every cent.

Mie Cafe: "Delicious food inspired by cambodians best ingredients"

Review by: Larafen | Source: Trip Advisor
"We dined here on the last day of our stay in Siem Reap and it was a perfect conclusion. The food was super tasty and delicious. We are real foodies and we were very lucky to have found this place. Also, the service and atmosphere of the place were super nice! If we ever go back to Siem Reap we will for sure return to this beautiful restaurant!"

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Fabulous visit and incredible views"

Review by: Jan R | Source: Trip Advisor
Spent 3 glorious nights at Tiger Mountain Pokhara. It is an amazing place and worth the additional expense. The views to the Annapurna range are simply magnificent and waking up to a sunrise over the mountains is very special. The rooms/cabins are very luxurious and perfectly outfitted . The food is wonderful and always the option to have spicier Nepalese or tamer continental fare. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or accommodating whether it was to arrange specialty birding walks or medicine for a stomach ailment. After the hectic world of Kathmandu this place was more than a breath of fresh air. I would encourage you to make time to spend a few days at Tiger Mountain Pokhara!

MesaStila: "The best place for alternative vacation for the whole family"

The resort offers a lot of activities for the whole family and the staff is very great. All of my kids really enjoying this place and they always remember of a great memory of Mesastila.

Maisons Wat Kor: "Our home away from home"

Review by: parsichick | Source: Trip Advisor
Discreetly tucked away from the town centre this was a peaceful oasis to retreat to after being out all day. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable scattered across 2 cambodian style wooden houses with large balconies on which to sip your evening beverages (ask for a room upstairs). A lovely pool to wash away the day's excursions. I would return in a heartbeat.

Locavore: "A memorable dinner in Bali"

Review by: Tat_Tatchai | Source: Trip Advisor
Hands down one of the best restaurants in Asia, if not the world. We had the tasting menu paired with cocktails. Every item is delicious and has story to it. Listening to chef explaining the ingredients and how each menu is cooked is part of the fun. It’s like a culinary to the Indonesian cuisine with modern interpretations. If there’s a Michelin guide here in Indonesia, Locavore deserves at least 2 stars!!

MesaStila: "A trip to Paradise"

Review by: bmeadows2016 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Have just returned from a holiday to Indonesia that started with a fabulous 7 nights at Mesa Stila. Walking onto the verandah of our beautiful house every morning, with a cup of coffee made from the beans grown on the estate and seeing the spectacular view of volcanoes and hearing the sounds of the jungle was truly magical. The staff here are so friendly and attentive to your every need. The food is delicious and uses produce grown on the estate, as well as homemade yoghurt, ice cream, sorbets, bread etc. Do try the coconut porridge for breakfast and the pina colada salad is a revelation! Do also go to the spa and indulge in a massage. Every treatment starts with a spell in the steam room and finishes with a refreshing pot of ginger tea and small treats. The masseurs are excellent, Citra has the tiniest hands but a powerful, healing touch. We were very grateful to Erny for organising our treatments so thoughtfully. There's a great programme of events too but walking around the grounds and lying by the infinity pool gazing into the jungle left me truly refreshed and ready to face the world again. I hope I'll be returning soon! "

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Heartfelt luxury on the Tatai"

Review by: Claire B | Source: Trip Advisor
"My partner and I work in the area and had passed 4 Rivers from time to time, drooling at the sight of this oasis on the river. Last month we had the opportunity to stay and as high as our hopes were, the place surpassed all expectations! Their guide Darong gave us a warm welcome at the dock and spoke passionately about the biodiversity of the area, pointing out things along the way to the resort. On arrival, owner Anna and resort manager Paulo made us feel instantly at home with refreshing welcome drinks and a brief tour of the reception areas before showing us to our room. Our first impression was wow, just wow! Rooms are sumptuously though tastefully decorated, with everything you could need, from fans for freshness to dry bags for adventures on the river. We loved the water hyacinth furniture and the sprung mattress and comfy pillows were especially welcome. The bathroom is a masterpiece of innovation and attention to detail- we were delighted with the shower (you have to see for yourself!) and the beautifully fragrant ecological products were a great touch. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent, with a great choice of locally sourced fresh ingredients, a breakfast menu which changes daily and a delicious set dinner menu. The ambiance of the resort was something special and we enjoyed wonderful conversation with other like minded travellers during our stay. We took kayaks out around the mangroves and swam in the river, which is wonderfully fresh and clean year round. The kayaks are streamlined, easy to manoeuvre and easily the best maintained of any we've seen in Cambodia. We didn't spy any otters on our journey (they're shy creatures!) but apparently they hang out nearby, and for us nature lovers this alone would make it worth the visit! We've stayed at a number of eco resorts around Cambodia and none can match 4 Rivers for comfort and hospitality. Anna and her team have truly thought of everything, and all with sustainability of the area in mind. To top it off, to our great surprise and delight, on the morning of our departure, Paulo brought us a heart-shaped cake oozing with yummy chocolate mousse to celebrate our recent engagement, which just goes to show that staff go the extra mile to make your time here super special. We will be back! If you haven't made your mind up yet, cast doubt aside and book today! Go for the wild and wonderful nature, stay for the rare luxury that leaves no trace."

Inle Princess Resort: "As before, just excellent"

Review by: ludlbk | Source: tripadvisor.com
"My most recent stay at Inle Princess Resort was, like all my previous ones, wonderful. I find everything at the resort just excellent, the chalets, restaurant, spa, bar, gift shop and again, above all, the people. Several staff members speak some basic German and Spanish and I encourage guests to give them a chance to practice their language skills. The resort is beautiful (a swimming pool was almost completed when I was there), but I find it a very good experience to take a bicycle and to explore the countryside, nearby villages, markets, or the winery, just ask at the front desk. The food, whether Burmese (e.g., curries, Mohinga, home made ice cream) or Western (e.g., BBQ Chicken on Steamed Pumpkin), was always delicious. My secret, I simply followed the recommendations of the chef (Nwe Oo) or of one of her assistants (Mo Kham). Very impressive is the social responsibility of the resort owner family, supporting the local population in many ways (e.g., health, orphanages, schools, education and more)."

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Wonderful!"

Review by: SESNoVA | Source: Trip Advisor
While the last few kilometers of the road to get to Glenburn are the worst road EVER, once you reach this tea plantation, you are pampered and cosseted with the best of service, in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Rooms are large and extremely comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Your hosts are friendly and engaging. Local shop has great stuff. Food is really good. A shame that lunches (while excellent) are continental fare -- the Indian and Tibetan foods served at dinner and breakfast are far superior. Remarkable service, and a place one wants to return to again, and again, and again!
