Inspired by nature, this charming family-run restaurant is set in a lush green garden that recalls nature in all its natural form. It is also the chef and his artistic family’s home. Marked by a deep-rooted furniture design business, the restaurant has a workshop area showcasing unique home and garden iron art pieces. Additionally, there is a coffee shop and a small area serving vegetarian cuisine that is run the chef’s sister, complemented by an on-site herb and vegetable garden.

“Learning as it is an endless process, and I never stop trying to invent new ways to highlight local Thai ingredients. I believe my passion for food, and continuous trial and error motto is what has led to my restaurant’s success today. Everyone can learn, so I pass along my knowledge to our staff whom I consider to be an important part of my family. They are locals with no cooking background, but I take the time to teach them everything from gardening, to cooking and serving a meal that they can be proud of.”

Full Bio

Chef Nan is a self-taught chef who quit his job working for his family’s furniture manufacturing business to live out his life-long dream. His first restaurant was a small western cuisine bistro, but sadly it was not successful. He did not give up. Instead, he tried harder by learning molecular gastronomy cooking techniques from every source he could find. His hard work and perseverance paid off: he won an award at Iron Chef Thailand 2013.

To reach the entrance of the restaurant, guests walk under verdant arched plants, passing by the flower and herb garden. The clean and modern interiors overlook the garden. Simple black painted iron structures reflect natural elements including flowers and leaves, and the Scandinavian style dining chairs evoke a less-is-more feel to the nature inspired space.


Chef Nan uses high quality local produce sourced from farmers in Chiang Mai and across Thailand to prepare dishes using authentic French and Japanese cooking techniques. Each dish is designed with an artful presentation and contains a hidden flavourful surprise. The magic of this dining experience is savouring simple ingredients, which have been turned into little pieces of art.

We Care

The restaurant spends a lot of time sourcing high quality produce from local farmers and growers in Chiang Mai, and Thailand. Its purveyors include happy eggs from Happy Hen in Mae Tha District, Lamphun Province, and local vegetables from the Jing Jai Market Farmer Group. The latter sells only pesticide free and organic produce, and cares for their impact on the environment by saying “no” or reducing the consumption of plastic from the planting to the retailing process. Bee, who is the chef’s wife, visits the local market next to their home regularly to select special herbs and seasonal produce.
