Your Journey Day by Day

Day 1 : Bangkok
Arrival at Bangkok airport. A chauffeur will meet you from your flight and take you to the Cabochon Hotel and Residence. No fixed program, your free time to explore Bangkok. Our concierge will be ready to recommend what to see and where to dine as required.
Overnight in a 2-bedroom Suite.
HOTEL: CHAKRABONGSE VILLAS (GARDEN SUITE) 4* BOUTIQUE
Day 2 : Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Suphanburi – Bohemian Residence (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, your driver and guide will be ready to take you to Ayutthaya, the first capital city of Siam. Your guide will escort you to the main sites of interest including: Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the symbol of Ayutthaya within the walls of the former royal palace, Wat Mongkhon Bophit, Wat Yai Chai Mongkol and its revered reclining Buddha and Wat Chaiwatthanaram by the river.
After lunch in a local restaurant you will head north to Suphanburi by road before embarking on a 20minute river cruise to your home for the next two nights, The Bohemian’s Residence. Your private 2-bedroom villa overlooks the river and includes a living room, terrace, swimming pool 13.5 x 3.5m and garden. The boat is available anytime and the housekeeper is at your service, discreet but always present. Your guide is also on hand if required.
Afternoon tea and dinner will be served at the villa, poolside, riverside or in the dining room as you prefer.

Day 3 : The Bohemian’s Residence – Samchuk – The Bohemian’s Residence (B/L/D)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast after which your guide will take you to visit Samchuk, a neighbouring town, famed for its traditional market. Unchanged for centuries, Samchuk’s market is a charming place to witness local life, stroll the market’s alleyways and explore the wooden shops over the river with your guide on-hand to answer your questions or help you shop and chat with the locals. Lunch will be in a local restaurant next to the market before returning to the villa in the afternoon. Dinner will be served at the villa.

Day 4 : The Bohemian’s Residence – Uthai Thani – Tak (B/L/D)
Today you leave your riverside residence and head to the rural town of Uthai Thani an area of unspoiled natural beauty where local life has revolved around the river for centuries. Your first stop will be the Thasung Temple elegantly covered with small pieces of mirrored glass. You will then leave by boat for a short cruise on the beautiful river Sakaekrang to see the local riverside lifestyles and the famed floating gardens. Lunch will be served during the cruise. After the cruise, you will continue the drive to Tak, reaching your villa at the late afternoon. Dinner at the villa
HOTEL: Bantak Villa
Day 5 : Tak – Sukhothai- Tak (B/L/D)
Enjoy the morning at the villa: breakfast, pool and relax , then we will drive for 1h30 to visit Sukhothai, the first capital city of Siam and also named as Thailand’s golden age. Your visit will start at the Sukhothai Historical Park, a protected and preserved area of archeological remains and enigmatic ruins of once glorious royal residences and temples housing Buddha images of the Sukhothai period. A lovely trip through Thai village life to the ancient royal palaces and temples. A wonderful mix of history and daily village life. Back to the Villa for the evening and dinner.
HOTEL: Bantak Villa
Day 6 : Tak – Maesot- Tak (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the villa, we have planned a fantastic trip along one of the most scenic roads in Thailand, to the border to Myanmar (Burma). You will experience a fascinating mix of many cultures at the border markets. Lots of possibilities for buying some cheap and interesting souvenirs, local artisanat and experience a fantastic jungle restaurant for lunch.
Back to the Villa for the evening and dinner.
HOTEL: Bantak Villa
Day 7 : Tak- Chiang Mai (B/-/D)
Take your time in the morning after breakfast, and when you are ready, the driver will drive you to your final destination Chiang Mai (about 3h30).
Upon arrival you will settle in your villa, located in the trendy district of Nimman, in a quiet street. No arrangements for the afternoon, the villa manager will give you recommendations based on your interest, with her tips for visits.
Then dinner will be served at the villa.

Day 8 : Chiang Mai – Samoeng Elephant Camp (B/L/-)
A driver will pick up at the villa early morning and drive you to Patara Elephant Farm, where you will be a Mahout and look after an Elephant for a day. Patara is a conservation center for retired elephants, all money collected is dedicated to elephant care. The program “own an elephant for a day” has been designed for everyone to learn and interact with elephants as what a Mahout would do daily. Learn how to approach your elephant correctly, know its temperament, feed and check its health, bathe and brush it in the river, learn how to ride on its neck, and communicate through different spoken commands. You will get a chance to bare-back riding to visit forest, waterfalls or local temples.
Local Thai lunch will be served at the center, then you will be back to your villa mid-afternoon and relax for the rest of the day. No arrangement for dinner but we shall recommend some Secret Table.

Day 9 : Chiang Mai – (B/-/-)
Today no arrangement made. Visit the city or just enjoy time at the villa. Chiang Mai is yours!

Day 10 : Chiang Mai – airport (B/-/-)
After breakfast, depending on your schedule, a driver will drop you either at the airport or in the city if you continue your journey.
