ITINERARY BOOK

This journey has been personally designed by Husna-Tara Prakash and her family owns Glenburn Tea Estate in Darjeeling and the new Penthouse in Calcutta, located just next to the family tea factory. When she married her husband Anshuman, she married also a passion for tea and the rich historic heritage of the city of Calcutta, that she is sharing here with us

All our itineraries have generally been constructed on the basis of the rooms that have the most charm or best view, and not necessarily the first prices, nor the most expensive suites.
We can of course adjust according to your request.

Highlights of the Journey:

  • Iconic landmarks including the Victoria Memorial, the Writers’ Building, and the Governor’s House
  • Mother Teresa’s Home
  • Bengali culinary delights and local markets

Calcutta, now called Kolkata, is the capital of India’s West Bengal state. Founded as an East India Company trading post, it served as India’s capital during the colonial era until 1911. Known for its rich history, grand architecture, and cultural festivals, the city offers a rewarding experience for travellers interested in exploring Kolkata through both its past and present. This journey presents a carefully curated Kolkata tour shaped by heritage, culture, and everyday life.
