Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) is a popular tourist destination in China, steeped in picturesque natural landscapes and history, very often represented in many paintings. With its granite peaks and twisted pines wreathed in spectral folds of mist, the idyllic views of Huangshan inspired many poets and painters. The region is known for its shaped rocks and pines on the Yellow Mountain, as well as the UNESCO ancient-styled dwellings in Xidi and Hongcun villages. Even with so many guests, the region still rewards visitors with moments of tranquility and offers breathtaking sceneries.
