ITINERARY BOOK

This journey along the Eastern Coast of Thailand and the Cardamoms in Cambodia has been designed by Khun Poon, the owner of The Spa Koh Chang, inspired by the idyllic beauty of Koh Chang, deeply rooted in local culture and a balanced lifestyle in connection with nature.

All our itineraries have generally been constructed on the basis of the rooms that have the most charm or best view, and not necessarily the first prices, nor the most expensive suites.
We can of course adjust according to your request.

Highlights of the Journey:

  • The Old Town of Chanthaboon
  • The Beauty of Koh Chang
  • Kao Laem Summit
  • The Cardamoms and Peam Krasaop Wildlife Sanctuary

The Thai-Cambodian Connection

Immerse yourself in the rich and hidden histories of Eastern Thailand. Go forth to unravel the views and seas to experience nature at its finest. Jungle hoping from the eastern forests on Koh Chang island to the rainforests of Cambodia. Riding through, local culture and tasting new experiences, adding a new colour to your palette. A new shade of green and blue, unseen to the normal eyes. Leaving you wanting more, wishing yourself forever frolicking in the eastern blues. This program can be re-designed and reversed to your liking. Depending on how you would like to start, we can also extend your program and connect other itineraries in Thailand like the “Isan, The Unexplored Thai Province” or in Cambodia to The Essence of the Khmer Kingdom to add further adventure in to your life.

Then, visit the Chanthaboon Mats Craft Center, Samed-Ngam where you can learn about the process of a well-known craft that originated in Chanthaburi, such as the Chanthaboon mat, which is made from sedge grown in the province—an especially durable type of the plant—that is dyed and woven into mats with beautiful patterns. The ultimate ecological glamping lodge hidden amongst the rivers and jungles only accessible by boat upon checking in. Once the driver drops you off, you will be guided onto a boat (20-minute ride) which will take you to your tent. From there, you will be able to stretch your toes and take a deep breath to experience one of the most exclusive and relaxing stays while remaining hidden in the depths of the Cambodian jungle.
HOTEL: Canvas & Orchids (Floating Tent)
Day 8 : Tatai (B/-/-)
You will have a full day all to yourself to experience all the complimentary activities that the hotel has to offer deep in the rainforests, such as unguided kayaking during the day and evening, while also being able to fish from the terrace of your villa.
