Choose to cruise at your leisure with a choice of all the islands of Komodo at your fingertips. This trip is created by you and curated for you. You can sail the seas and handpick what you want to see for as long as you like. A cruise around Komodo is a great extension to an
itinerary in Java, to the
Charms of Bali or even to a
jungle cruise in Borneo.
Set sail to where the dragons live. The views and the seas are just as mystical as the fairy tales tell of. Grassy beautiful savannah-covered islands newly formed from fossilized reefs, where you can do endless hikes amongst scaly long-tailed residents and watch bats fly into the sunset. Dip into the ocean from your vessel and swim amongst manta rays, sea turtles, and baby sharks. Use a kayak to explore and find secluded beaches so that you can be in the comfort of your own company as you look into the distance to a horizon filled with picturesque islands while the sunsets with cocktails in hand. Sail forth into the ocean as you know that islands of dragons and life await.

Your Journey Day by Day
Touch down on the pink sandy beaches of Komodo Island. Walk through the arid landscape with a local ranger and encounter all walks of wildlife crossing your path. Search for the largest lizards that roam the Earth, the legendary Komodos that run the island. After successfully finding dozens, you can jump into the ocean to swim alongside the manta rays and snorkel through the reefs. You might be able to catch up to see the sea turtles and watch them gracefully glide across the ocean floor. Catch the sunsets on the hilltop and spend the night off the shores under the night-lit sky.
2. Rinca Island
Explore corals that have fossilized into Rinca Island. Walk and meet villages, on this limestone island and weave into a local bat cave while they slumber throughout the day. Hike from peak to peak through the grass fields and cool off by dipping into the oceans. At dusk, witness the departure of thousands of fruit jettison out of their caves to forage for food from the mainland whilst you sip away a cocktail watching the sunset.
3. Banta Island
Located off the coast of Komodo Island. You won’t realize time flies by as you lie down on the sandy beaches and paddleboard around the seas. Snorkeling off the shores you could catch a pack of manta rays swim by as you look upon exquisite coral reefs filled with life that follows the beaches of the island. Sunbathe on the beaches and enjoy dinner off on the outskirts of the island.
4. Padar Island
Padar Island is a geographically beautiful treasure of wonder. Setting foot on this island is nothing short of breathtaking. Hike up all the grassy mountain tops to get different angles of the beautiful island. You could come to catch the sunrise or the sunset. Look as the sun shines on the pink beaches. Jump into the ocean to swim with the marine life and kayak to different beaches around the island. Padar Island is a must.
5. Tatawa Besar
A small island east of Komodo, a perfect place to frolic in the water and dive into the ocean. Surrounded by coral reefs with all sorts of fish, with a high chance of manta rays and turtles. Walk around the small island, lie down on the grass, and appreciate the vast ocean sky.
6. Kanawa Island
A perfect little island to relax. Snorkel and see urchins, starfish, and some baby sharks. The marine life is plentiful only a short distance from the shore. The best time to catch this island is during high tide, a perfect stop-by on the way to Komodo Island or the other bigger islands.
7. Kelapa Island
An island off the coast of Bima. A mountainous island with a good view from the peak. Perfect for a good solid hike so be sure to be prepared to have an umbrella because there is no shade. After a good hike, walk back down and jump into the water for a rewarding rinse and explore the island with your kayaks and paddles.
