Run along the oldest walls in China, from the grounds of the Forbidden City to the city walls of Xi’an. Get lost in the valleys, as you embark on the trail to walk on top of the Great Wall of China or to watch Pandas rela,x eating bamboo. Pay homage to the Tibetan Buddhist shrines, ancient well-preserved temples located in Beijing and Xi’an. Fall asleep in peace in the middle of a vineyard and in hotels with buildings that are over two hundred years old. Stumble into the tomb of the first emperor of China, Qin Shihuang. This journey will give you the best picture into the world of Ancient China, scaling walls, temples, and unlocking histories of whole dynasties.

Day 1 : Beijing Arrival (-/-/D)
As you land in the capital of China, a transfer will be waiting for you at the airport to take you away from the hustle and bustle of the city to your escape to a French-style hotel in the middle of vineyards. Tsingpu Badaling Retreat is situated in the heart of 40 hectares of vineyards at the base of the mountains where the Great Wall's most well-known section, Badaling. The Retreat is a cultural hub and winery that makes its own wine, Chateau de Nubes, in addition to being a place to stay. Dinner will be arranged for you this evening

Day 2 : Beijing (B/-/D)
Enjoy your breakfast in the midst of the vineyard before being picked up by your driver to explore the capital city of Beijing. Your first stop will be is the Tiananmen city square in the city center of Beijing, China, named after the Tiananmen ("Gate of Heavenly Peace") located to its north, which separates it from the Forbidden City Imperial Palace complex. The square contains the Monument to the People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. Mao Zedong proclaimed the founding of the People's Republic of China. Then you will visit the Forbidden City which is arguably the most famous palace in all of Chinese history and is the largest preserved royal palace complex still standing in the world. After touring the capital, head back to the vineyard to relax and have some dinner for the evening.

Day 3 : Beijing (B/-/D)
Be sure to have some breakfast before being picked up by your driver, who will take you first to the Lama Temple, also called Yonghe Temple, “the Palace of Peace and Harmony”. The building and artwork of the temple are a combination of Han Chinese and Tibetan styles. This building is one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in China. After the temple, head to one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. After the wall, visit Juyongguan, the mountain pass in Guangou Valley, known as one of the “Great Mountain Passes” in the great wall. Head back to the hotel, and enjoy dinner in the evening.

Day 4 : Beijing - Ping Yao (B/-/D)
After breakfast, a driver will send you from the hotel to the train station to take a high-speed train from Beijing to Pingyao. The train will take around three hours. Once you arrive at Ping Yao’s train station, a hotel transfer will be provided for you. Once you arrive, get settled into the hotel. Enjoy your time whilst you explore two-hundred-year-old buildings. You can go out to the streets to walk around and explore this ancient city. A traditional Shiang Xi dinner will be arranged for you in the hotel.

Day 5 : Ping Yao (B/L/D)
A guide will pick you up after breakfast to visit Shuanglin Temple. One of the Han Buddhism temples in China that preserves the richest and most exquisite colored sculpture art, and is renowned as the "treasure house of Oriental colored sculpture art". Its history can be traced back to the Northern Dynasties. Most of the existing buildings and painted sculptures are from the Ming Dynasty. In 1997, it was inscribed on the World Heritage List as an important part of Pingyao Ancient City. After your temple visit, head back to your hotel to enjoy your arranged lunch. Later in the afternoon, a guide will take you on a walking tour of Pingyao ancient town to dive deeper into the history of the town. You will have dinner prepared for you back in the hotel in the evening.

Day 6 : Ping Yao - Xi’an (B/-/-)
This morning, you will have breakfast before checking out and catching the train to Xi'an. A guide will be waiting to pick you up at the train station. Once picked up, you will be taken to your hotel to check-in. After checking in, your guide will take you to explore and visit Xi’an’s ancient city wall. You can choose to continue to explore the ancient alleys of the city or watch the sunset set over the city walls as the hues of the sky change.

Day 7 : Xi'an (B/-/D)
The following morning, enjoy breakfast before going with a guide to uncover Bing Mayong, a tomb treasure collection of the Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of China. This is where you will get to witness the hundreds of terracotta figures, which are over two thousand years old. This tomb was built to commemorate the empire that was able to first unite the six states of China. You will then have some lunch before heading to visit Huaqing Pool, which has been a very significant location for many Chinese past emperors and is famous for the Xi’an incident. After visiting the pool, you will enjoy some dinner in a traditional theater where you will follow the story of the first female emperor in China as she ascends to the throne of the Tang Dynasty at the age of fourteen.

Day 8 : Xi’an (B/L/-)
This morning you will have some time to yourself, you can use this time to relax at the hotel or explore to grab some local breakfast bites in the old city. Be sure to come back as there will be a guide waiting for you to take you to visit the only green Tara Dojo Tibetan Temple in Xi’an, Guangren Temple which was under control by Princess Wencheng. This temple enshrines two, twelve-year-old Buddha statues and has the largest thousand hand Guan Yin statue in ShanXi. After the temple pay a visit to the Big Wild Goose pagoda which was built to store Sutras from India during the Tang Dynasty. After this, you can either head back to the hotel or choose to explore further by visiting the Tang Dynasty Grand Night City, a large replica of the Tang Dynasty pedestrian street based on the flourishing Tang culture.

Day 9 : Xian - Chengdu (B/-/D)
Have some breakfast and then check out to catch your next high-speed train to Chengdu. A driver will be waiting for you at the station to take you to your next hotel. Once you have checked in, you can relax and take the opportunity to explore around the city at your own pace. There will be dinner provided for you at the Michelin Star Restaurant in the hotel in the evening.

Day 10 : Chengdu (B/-/-)
After breakfast, a driver will pick you up to take you to Dujiangyan, the area is in the western part of the Chengdu Plain, between the Sichuan Basin and the Tibetan Plateau. Here you will visit Panda Valley to see cute pandas. In the afternoon, after seeing the pandas, you will get to explore Dujiangyan further. Discover one of the greatest water conservancy projects in history, and this is also where you can choose to rest and sightsee the magnificent geographical valley. On the way back, if time permits, you will pass by a century-old museum of human history in the region to experience and understand the history of the Sichuan way of life.

Day 11 : Chengdu Departure (B/-/-)
Today you enjoy your last breakfast in Chengdu before checking out and catching your flight back home. A transfer will be provided for you to the airport for your departure.
