Ranthambore National Park, one of the country’s celebrated wildlife reserves where you can catch a glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger (the National Animal of India) amongst various other species. It is situated in Rajasthan at the eastern end of Aravalli range. The reserve offers one of the best opportunities for seeing Tigers early in the morning or just before sunset, as well as many other mammals, including Leopards, Sloth Bears, Rhesus Macaques, Common Langurs, Nilgai, Indian Gazelles (Chinkara), Wild Boars, Jackals, Spotted and Barking Deers, Samber and Marsh Mugger Crocodiles. The bird life here is also abundant, particularly around the water bodies. This journey offers you to explore the wildlife in this major National Park of India.

Your Journey Day by Day

Day 1 : Sawai Madhopur – Ranthambore (-/-/D)

Arrive at Sawai Madhopur airstrip or train station. After completing the formalities and collection of your baggage, proceed towards the arrival hall, your guide will welcome you and straight drive to Rathambore buffer zone to your hotel. After check in and settle in your room, jump on a jeep (some other guests may join) for a first safari game drive before sunset with English speaking naturalist. Back to the hotel after the safari, rest, evening drinks and dinner at the property.

Day 2 : Ranthambore National Park (B/L/D)

Early morning departure by sunrise for a morning jeep safari with your English speaking naturalist. Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary is famous for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to see these majestic predators in the jungle. It is very common to spot tigers during the game drives, even during the day time. The best period to visit is November and May when the nature of the dry deciduous forests makes sightings common. Its deciduous forests were once a part of the magnificent jungles of Central India. Back to the camp for breakfast, rest. Lunch and dinner at the camp.

Day 3 : Ranthambore National Park (B/L/D)

Early morning departure by sunrise for a morning jeep safari with your English speaking naturalist. A bit of Ranthambore History: this is one of the smallest tiger reserve project. The name Ranthambore is derived from two hills of the area, Ran and Thanbhor. There are endless speculations about the founding of the fort, which is built over an area of 4.5 sq.kms, while the circumference of its walls is 7 kms. The area around it is dotted with ruins: Lake Palaces, ancient step wells, cupolas, temples, and memorial stones, all are related to Ranthambore's varied and fascinating history. It is common t sport tigers near by the walls and or the reservoir.
Back to the camp for breakfast, rest. Lunch and dinner at the camp.

After breakfast, transfer to Sawai Madhopur Railway or Airstrip for departure to your next destination.
