In this itinerary, we depart from Phnom Penh to the Southeastern Coast of Cambodia: Kampot and Kep, which are only 25 kilometres apart. The first one is famous for its Pepper, the second one for its Crab. Therefore the combination of both is also the guarantee for great meals! Kampot is a sleepy riverside town, with a relaxed atmosphere and a rich French colonial architecture giving a lot of charm to the town. Between Kampot and Kep, you will visit some pepper plantation. Kep was founded as a seaside retreat by the French in early 20th century, to search for sea breeze during the hot season, with seafood, sunsets and hikes in butterfly-filled Kep National Park as the main attractions. This short itinerary is a good extension to other excursions across Cambodia.

Your Journey Day by Day

All our itineraries have generally been constructed on the basis of the rooms that have the most charm or best view, and not necessarily the first prices, nor the most expensive suites.
We can of course adjust according to your request.

Day 1 : Phnom Penh – Kampong Trach – Kampot (-/-/-)

Meeting at your hotel in Phnom Penh at 8.00am by your driver and departure by car to Kampot Province (2h30-3h00 drive). On the way we stop at Phnom Chgouk to visit a cave and a pre-angkorian temple, then we continue toward Kampot, appreciated for its charming French colonial architecture. We stop for a lunch (on your own) then reach the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, you can enjoy activities proposed by the lodge (canoe, bikes...) or simply relax by the pool.
No arrangement for dinner.

Day 2 : Kampot – Pepper Plantation - Kep (B/-/-)

Early Breakfast and check-out around 8.30am, and we depart to Utjean Dorng Preak for sightseeing (all games and activities on your own account); then we continue toward Kep. On the way we visit a Mangrove Forest, and learn about the conservation project. Symbolically, we will ask you to plant 1 baby Mangrove plant per person. We continue to a Pepper Plantation for a visit and lunch (on your own account). When we reach Kep, check-in at your hotel and you can enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Day 3 : Kep (B/-/-)

The whole day is at leisure. You can relax, enjoy the property or organize with your hotel the activities for the day. No arrangement for lunch and dinner.

Day 4 : Kep – Phnom Penh Airport - Departure (B/-/-)

After breakfast around 8.30am, proceed to check-out, then we drive to Kep National Park to enjoy the morning view and visit the famous Mountain Café. We then go back downhill to visit Kep Crab Market. You can have your lunch there (not included), the by 2.00pm we drive to Phnom Penh nd drop you at your hotel or airport). Departure time will be arranged based on your flight time.
