Cochin, known as ‘Queen of Arabian Sea’’, nowadays called Kochi, is a city in southwest India's coastal Kerala state. It has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. From time immemorial, traders and travelers frequented the place. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Cochin, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship. Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, typical of Cochin, have been in use for centuries. It has a fascinating blend of cultures. This journey offers you to discover this mosaic of cultures and influences in 4 days.
