All our itineraries have generally been constructed on the basis of the rooms that have the most charm or best view, and not necessarily the first prices, nor the most expensive suites.

Phang Nga Bay is undoubtedly one of Thailand’s main tourist attractions. While it might not be widely recognized by name, many have heard of its islands, such as Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, and Koh Lanta. This 520-kilometer Phang Nga Bay tour will take you through some of Phang Nga Bay’s wonders, both famous and hidden. Starting in the Andaman Sea at Koh Phra Thong island, the journey takes you south to Phuket, which forms the eastern part of the bay, before circling towards Krabi on its west coast. One of the most iconic spots in the area is James Bond Island, known for its towering limestone rock formations.

Your Journey Day by Day

Day 1 : Phuket Airport – Koh Phra Thong (-/-/-)
Pick-up at Phuket airport and transfer to Kuraburi Pier for a boat ride to Koh Phra Thong (2 hrs), followed by a golf cart ride to your villa. Upon arrival at your home for the next two nights, you’ll find yourself on a 12-kilometer stretch of white powdery sand bordered by the blue waves of the Andaman Sea. The rest of the day is at your leisure: relax on the beach, enjoy a massage, or simply take in the surroundings.

Day 2 : Koh Phra Thong (B/-/-)
Enjoy your breakfast and you are free to design your program for the day. Around 5pm, embark on a Koh Phra Thong trip to a sunset viewing spot in the savannah. For this trip we use the resort’s jeep. Ko Phra Thong’s savannah interior is a very interesting habitat – more reminiscent of Kenya than Thailand. As we head south keep an eye out for deer, birds and carnivorous plants. This unusual landscape mesmerizes our visitors with its mix of white sand, water brooks, clutches of Melaleuca trees and the long grass everywhere, leading one to expect giraffes or elephants to spring into sight at every corner. There is also a very good chance of spotting a lesser adjutant crane in the south of the island (one of only two colonies in Thailand).
Back to the lodge. No arrangement for dinner.

Day 3 : Koh Phra Thong – Phuket (B/L/-)
After breakfast and checkout, the boat of the Baba Eco Lodge will depart around 8am and take you back to Kuraburi Pier on the mainland. Your driver and your guide will be waiting for you at the pier. We have organized a few breaks on this otherwise rather long journey to your next Secret-Retreats hotel. First, we will stop for one hour kayaking through a remarkable natural site at Pa Sai Boran - a mangrove where huge banyan trees are also growing. Then we will keep driving south for another 30 minutes, and stop at the famous beach city of Khao Lak for lunch. If you feel like it, we will take the time for a swim as well. From there, another 2 hours will be needed to reach the cap of Kamala in Phuket, and the Paresa Resort (you should reach by 3 - 3.30 pm for check in. Settle down and discover your villa and its amazing view at Sunset.

Day 4 : Phuket (Kamala) (B/-/-)
No program for today. You can rest and enjoy the resort or arrange activities through the concierge.

Day 5 : Phuket – Krabi (B/L/D)
After breakfast and check out around 9:30 a.m., your guide will meet you in the lobby, and we will leave as soon as you are ready. It will take nearly one hour to reach the Sarasin Bridge, which connects the island to the mainland. From there, the scenery will change dramatically. Hills covered with dense forest on one side of the road, marsh and mangrove on the other, with villages and temples scattered along the highway. There are numerous interesting sites to discover along the way.
We’ll stop at the Samet Nangshe Viewpoint for a stunning panorama of Phang Nga Bay before visiting a royal temple and enjoying lunch.
Around 2 p.m., we continue the drive for less than 1 hour to visit Wat Ban Tong, Royal Temple of Hindu influence, huge, and lavishly decorated. We then continue for another hour to reach your final destination for 2 nights: Le Passe-Temps.

Day 6 : Tha Lane (B/L/D)
Today, set off on a serene Phang Nga Bay tour by private longtail boat, departing at 9 a.m. and returning by 4 p.m. Explore the untouched northern bay, a hidden gem away from the tourist crowds. Discover its tranquil beauty, with towering limestone cliffs and secluded beaches—a perfect escape for nature lovers. The captivating landscape feels like a secret that should remain undiscovered. If you’re looking to explore more iconic locations, consider visiting the famous James Bond Island and its striking rock formations. Return to the hotel for relaxation.

Day 7 : Tha Lane – Krabi Airport (B/-/-)
After breakfast and depending on the time of your flight, a car will drive you from Le Passe-Temps to Krabi Airport (40mn), to catch your flight for your next destination.
