Bathtubs constructed of aromatic cypress, a variety of bamboo handicrafts, and artwork produced from Yumekouro-dyed fabrics with gradient hues that resemble flickering light are all included in the rooms.

“The Junei Imperial Palace West was open with ‘Sharing Japan's Beauty Throughout the World’ as its guiding principle in 2017. 3 years later, The Junei Hotel Kyoto was added with 11 rooms designed with many details to make skilful use of the bamboo and moon concept - the roof-top garden being a dedicated space for moon appreciation. In this little bamboo-enclosed space, our guests can watch the moon rise over the eastern hills and bask in its light.”

Rooms
Each room was created with an eye toward the ethereal ambiance of Kyoto. The smallest room is around 40 sq m and may accommodate up to 4 people.
Interior decoration of Imperial Palace West captures the true spirit of Kyoto, a city that respects its traditions while easily embracing contemporary artistic sensibilities. The most tranquil state of mind is intended to be achieved during your visit thanks to the tranquil beauty, soft scents, soothing sensations, peaceful music, and refined Kyoto character. Each room has a bathtub constructed of fine ceramic known as Shigaraki-yaki, and it is decorated with Japanese paper called Kyo-Karakami, Kawashima Selkon curtains, and the best Imabari towels.
The interior decoration of each room in the new hotel “The Junei Hotel Kyoto” is based on the "wind, light, and sway" design philosophy and uses Yumekouro, or "dyed commodities of sunlight." The light materials have a really soothing sense due to the way they sway in the wind and the way their colors satisfyingly shift in different lighting. Hinoki bathtubs, bright drapes, and bamboo are all common elements.
Deluxe Twin (Imperial Palace West)
Consists of 5 distinctively unique rooms each designed with its own personality. For example, Ume, with its gold essence and Momiji with its wooden atmosphere. Each room consists of its own specialized characteristic while keeping the overall traditional design of the hotel.
Premium Double (Imperial Palace West)
Consists of 3 unique rooms. These rooms provide a double bed, and these 3 rooms have a light and nature theme that brings out the beauty of Japanese architecture.
Bamboo Suite (Hotel Kyoto)
The room is 70 m2 and can accommodate up to 5 people, the room creates a welcoming and soothing sensation with the bamboo design and the large bathtub, guests can relax amidst luxury. There is only 1 of this Suite on the property.
Deluxe King (Hotel Kyoto)
There are 5 Deluxe King rooms with a king size bed while keeping the distinct features of a Japanese style room and adding some wooden essence.
Hollywood Twin (Hotel Kyoto)
