Cruises through the Tanjung Puting National Park are accompanied by five crew and an English-speaking guide. It has 3 air-conditioned cabins with mosquito netting and en-suite bathrooms. The upper viewing deck is completely open, and is furnished with comfortable rattan furniture, and a dining table to enjoy delicious food prepared onboard by the chef.

Your Hosts & The Team

“We have been operating orangutan cruises in Central Kalimantan since 2008. We use local guides who are experienced in the forest and with the wildlife to take guests on our amazing cruises and walks into the dense forest to view a wide variety of animals, and birds. It’s a nature photographer’s paradise!”

“The sister boat of Sekonyer, this vessel was launched in October 2018. It has three cabins, including one for family (able to accommodate up to four persons). The cruise is a unique way to explore the Borneo jungle and approach orangutans in the wild.”

Kim, the discoverer.
